|Peace of Mind, no matter what comes down the pike.

Just a quick note... The new Prez of the USA will prob be surprised at the enormity of world wide problems and challenges. Even 'all the kings horses and all the king's men will NOT be able to put Humpty Dumpy back together again..'

America has made it's choice-- weather to get back with God and hold fast to our freedoms of the 1 st and 2nd Amendments, etc --- or let it all hang out and do your own thing, party down, depend on Gov't entitlements, hand out and big time DEBT to China, etc. America now has the green light to get into gross immorality, the Gay agenda, homo-marriages, big time abortions and the plurality of the Congress to push darn near anything thru in the whims of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid.

All those who voted to save some modicum of morality and decency in the U.S. should have a CLEAR CONSCIENCE ! We should well know and understand that a "Nation" has a societal, community RESPONSIBILITY culpability to the Father for whom they vote for. If a candidate stands and promotes abortion-- and we vote for him-- WE ARE AS GUILTY AS HE IS !!

Well, life will go on for now, and tomorrow all the people in the U.S will want their bacon and eggs with buttered rye toast in the morning. We will all want to use some toilet paper, hot water, gasoline, etc. Life will go on-- until the next big calamity/ disaster, war, conflict, and then let's see how things go...

For those of us who are true Christian believers in the bible and God Almighty-- we can rest assured that our Lord will hear our prayers and protect us. "Life is a Mist" ~James 4:14. -- And Heaven is our Home.

Peace and spiritual prosperity to all believers-- and I pray that all combat Vet's come to know this joy and happiness too, because they are some of my finest, fav. heroes!

A letter from Dick, in Hawaii.

Aloha DoorGunner,

Along with others, I continue to lurk out here,
following your exploits as
posted in your new blog. Greatly miss your OSTJ.

At the bottom of each posting
there was room for your followers to post comments.
Always read what other of
your followers had to contribute. Really miss that
feature.

Understand your big road hog is long gone and you are
now wheeling around in a
motorized on-road/off-road sit-em-down. This is one of
those bad news/good news
situations. Anyway, checked out your model on the
internet and it looks like
you have a good, useful piece of machinery under you.
If my old, junkyard hip
joints get much worse, I'm going to wind up with a
motorized chair also.

Actually, I've been researching the Segway Personal
Transporters. They are
being used by the Honolulu Police Dept. to patrol
around the in-town area.
During rush hour periods the traffic is so dense that
squad cars can't respond
to calls for help. The Transporters give them the
additional ability they need
to move in and around grid locked traffic.
Also, they are available for rent by
tourists who can't walk long distances.
The price of these Transporters is
severely steep, with the numbers go into
the 5-K range.

Appreciated your article on the sprayed agents
- Orange, Blue and Purple. Also
the one on the 240th AHC. Had a good visit with
them and plan to return to sign
their guestbook - just to pay them the respect
that they fully earned. As a
grunt, riding in a Huey was always such a great
treat. The cool air from the
blade down-wash always provided welcomed relief
from the thick, tropical,
sweltering heat. It was a big let-down when the
ride ended and we were back
struggling in the mud again. Such was the life
of a rifle-carrying grunt.
Would do it again in a heartbeat!

When you guys flew from BearCat to the
Rung Sat Special Zone, you flew over Nhon
Trach District where I was the District Senior Adviser.
Nhon Trach was the
first inhabited area on the northern edge of the RSSZ.
My counterpart, the
District Chief, would be tasked to set up a blocking
force to prevent VC/NVA
from fleeing the RSSZ and into our district whenever
US units ran search and
destroy operations in the mangrove swamp. Even though
our local RF/PF troops
moved only several hundred yards into the swamp to set
up our blocking
positions, we thoroughly appreciated the fire support
we got from the gun ships
that were assigned to support the US unit conducting
the clearing operation. I
saw first hand what you AHC guys did and how you put
it all on the line , risked
it all to give us grunts a fighting chance.
AHC guys get respect.

We, your regular readers, know that first of all you
are a Christian soldier - a
committed soldier for Christ. Not all of us are as
completely or deeply devoted
as you are. Nevertheless. we are believers.
Believing is like being pregnant
and there is no such thing as being just a little bit pregnant.
In this regard,
your willingness to share your beliefs with us is
appreciated as well as
respected.

As a token of appreciation for your willingness to share,
I got my hands on a
Christian Soldier challenge coin I would like to send to you.
Trust that you
are up on military type challenge coins and know what
I'm talking about. If
not, just google challenge coins and read about their
history and the custom of
their use. It just came to mind that your 240th AHC
may have had a unit
challenge coin of its own.

To this end, I ask that you email me your mailing address
so I can get the coin
headed in your direction.

Take good care -----------------

This letter is from a great combat Veteran who
fought in Vietnam and had
first hand
knowledge
and contact with my Aviation unit-- the 240th
Assault Helicopter
company out of Bear Cat,, RVN. I consider him
a good and trusted friend and he
lives in Hawaii and drives a motorcycle!

'Solid Food' for real Christians. I Voted Today !

This fine article is TOO LONG for most Americans... LOL, but it really hits home if you are a biblical, mature Christian who doesn't mind chewing the solid food of the Bible. Enjoy!
