The Casinos 1967 - Then You Can Tell Me Good-By...

I guess that some health care workers and experts are right about people with arthritis getting up and exercising EVEN IF THEY HURT... lol. Personally, the first thing I do upon get
ting up in the morning. after using the rest room is to get a tall class of cold distilled water and take my morning medications [from the VA "doctors.."], and then I lay down back on the bed for one hour to watch and feel them kick in. But that collective med. 'cocktail' does burn and irritate my stomach after all these years-- and so I must eat something/ anything... kind of like those "corn dodgers" in True Grit- with John Wayne-- but my wife makes me toast with honey and sprinkles cinnamon on it-- 2 pieces, and that is my breakfast, with water.
Well, after all that I get lazy with the flesh pulling me back to bed-- but I want to accomplish some things and enjoy the day! I quit the Kenosha YMCA because that was expensive $$$ and 22 miles away, so now I desperately need a gentle exercise to get the blood flowing and strength regimen. I will use a 2 inch staff to twist the torso, and also start lifting some weights/ dumb bells.

Lately my days have been just rushing by like the wind. Sharon's heart surgery is on our minds and a heavy burden that won't let us enjoy life, IMHO. Trials like these makes me realize all the hard ships other bloggers post about and prayers wanted and sent/ offered.
It's 10:30 already and I must get going!

Hugs, and Warm Regards,
Tom Schuckman

Dear Tom, I have answered your recent comment in my journal but I will also answer it here.
What did my Lord Jesus Christ stand for?
It was love, compassion and care. He did not believe in judging others as far as their personal choice of a partner.
Mary Magdalene is one of my favorite characters. She was condemned by the Romans at that time for being of ill repute and low down when she was actually a very smart woman who followed Our Lord and who tried to serve him loyally.
I am a better person for knowing her.
This does not eve get near what some homosexuals go through . Jesus did not have the new scientific information about the genetic components of some homosexuals. Some homosexuals have it in their gene pool not to be attracted to the opposite sex.

Dear Tom,
I did not know that your wife has heart surgery coming up.
When is that?
I am so sorry that you have to go through this.
Please let me know if you wish for me to pray for her.
I will be thinking of you both.
IN addition I think it is wonderful that you are doing aregime on your own for conditioning. Bravo!
let us know how that goes.
Also I am sorry about your meds. Meds are awful anyway and I'm so sorry that they are more difficult to take. I love cinnamon too!
