Old Alka Seltzer Commercial # 2

I am posting this fine message and recipe from a Christian lady in FL, and my wife is also looking for a few good Salsa recipes too. I am so happy with Sharon's progress although she still has a long way to go-- and she needs to sit down quickly if she becomes dizzy.
We have had a long stretch of rain, humidity and mosquitoes for the past 2 weeks, but that also makes the Victory Garden grow. I can just imagine the 'New [Earth] Paradise and New Heavens' after the Lord "cleanses those two regions" with fire and sword!

In the meantime -- Our number One obligation is to PRAISE THE LORD and Share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Even as I still struggle with some anger and frustration issue issues that pop up once in a while-- I am thrilled with my new found joy and peace of mind gained from the Holy Spirit. Time to celebrate with my dear wife and friend, Sharon, and give thanks for all we have!

My bump on the back, top of my head is still there and hurtful-- but I know better now than to put any weight on weak tables... lol. Pray that we can finally get Sharon's power chair fixed by National Seating and Mobility Company. Be careful when you deal with them...!

Hey Tom,

I just came across a recipe that I thought you might like.

Add 1 tablespoon of lime juice to the water when preparing 1/2 cup of long grain rice (according to package directions), when done stir in 2 tablespoons of chopped cilantro. This is served with fish, tilapia with pineapple salsa (chopped fresh pineapple, minced red onion, jalapeno, cilantro, salt and pepper.) Sounds good, doesn't it?! Nice and light for the summer.

I'm always looking for ways to cook rice, sweet potatoes and white potatoes differently. Those are our primary carbs/starches. I hardly ever buy anything processed anymore especially wheat products like pasta. I do only occasionally for David since he loves pasta with red sauce. Even then I usually make my own by sauteeing garlic, onions, peppers, zucchini and tomatoes in olive oil.

I've been reading all your posts about Sharon's recovery and am so glad she's making good progress. The side benefit of you moving around more and losing a bit of weight yourself will certainly help your health in the long run, won't it?

Due to finances we won't be doing any travelling any time soon, but hopefully we'll meet up at some point.

God bless you and yours Tom,
Donna

p.s. Adam just returned to Iraq after a wonderful 2 week R&R. Six months down, six to go!
