More congestive heart failure for my wife.

How many times have we received the wrong 'signals' from a mate, spouse, relative or friend only to find out that something else was wrong with them?
These past few weeks Sharon thought that her chest pains were a result of the stressful pulmonary/ lung/ breathing tests that the hospital put her through not long ago. But as I took her again today to see your specialist Lung doctor, he said that her Sarcoidosis was in slight remission-- and that her pains were more CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE and not too much could be done except increasing her fluid reducing medicine. I felt bad upon hearing this news. Of course I will have to take on more of the house cleaning and cooking now, but we are both disabled. It will work and I will make it work. I asked her, "just please do not mess up so much." Every woman's habits are different and much of that is due to how they are raised-- and Sharon is an only child.

I do not laugh, gloat or smirk at all the less fortunate laid off, financially stressed, and homeless people in the USA now-- for I have shared their same sorrows and plight. It robs a man of his dignity and tests his character. When my places of work laid off, if was "one week chicken and the next week feathers" and it wasn't much of a joke that we auto workers ate a lot of beans, potatoes and cheesy- mac between pay days, etc. We also waited in long lines of rainy, cold weather to get a few free commodities like 5 pounds of cheese, some flour, corn meal, honey. etc, to make ends meet in hard lay off times back in the 1970's, 80's, etc, and were glad and humble to get it! Many of us up in Wisconsin hunted big and small game to add more meat to our meals, and we never worried about the "sport" of hunting-- we were hungry and so were our kids who developed a 'taste' for wild game and fish. Usually, we had 2 cars: one junker for me to go to and from work, and then the better 'family car' that the wife could use for shopping and taking the kids to church and school act ivies, etc. Personally, I drove a fuel efficient motorcycle for the 30 some years of my working life for 9 months out of the year, and that worked out just fine!

I guess my buddy, Marvin Ellis, is in serious shape with Pneumonia at the same Kenosha Hospital where I took my wife today, according to the same doctor. I have had some problems with people 'sharing' my blog posts with other people -- so that I don't want to use proper names anymore. And, unfortunately, there are many false Christians who actually hurt others in churches... but i don't want to go there now.

I took my wife to one of my favorite restaurants after her doctor visit and we had a good bowl of chicken dumpling soup before our main meal-- terrific! I love the Culture of the upper mid-West America -- and the food that gives us energy in the Winter time! And lately, I 've had a belly full of foreign anti-America mid-Eastern culture from MINORITIES who wish us ill and violence, yet get away with MURDER while the Gov't excuses them!

God help all true biblical Christian Believers to stand their ground to protect our Rights and Freedoms in the U.S. Constitution that are being daily assaulted by Socialist minorities both foreign and domestic.
I suspect that the Fort Hood MUSLIM TERRORIST is just the beginning of more attacks because they know that our "president" is either weak, or pro-Muslim, and he will cut them some slack. BTW, I just heard on the news that obama now says that he will not send any more troops to Afghanistan! that means that the few troops in that large country will have to do the job--stretched thin-- and take more casualties and hits from the enemy, and this also damages out worn out reputation with our allies.

Pastor's Business Card

A new pastor was visiting in the homes of his parishioners. At one house it seemed obvious that someone was at home, but no answer came to his repeated knocks at the door.

Therefore, he took out a business card and wrote 'Revelation 3:20' on the back of it and stuck it in the door.

When the offering was processed the following Sunday, he found that his card had been returned. Added to it was this cryptic message, 'Genesis 3:10..'

Reaching for his Bible to check out the citation, he broke up in gales of laughter. Revelation 3:20 begins 'Behold, I stand at the door and knock.' Genesis 3:10 reads, 'I heard your voice in the garden and I was afraid for I was naked.'

Remember when the funniest jokes were the clean ones?

They still are! Pass it on

'A cheerful heart is good medicine'

(Prov. 17:22)
