Discussion of newer Bible translations and revisions.

Here is an ongoing discussion with my friend in Christ, Kevin, concerning the corruption of "modern bible revisions." I have been fighting this issue in my own mind for many years and am trying to be as balanced and open minded as I can. For the most part, I am taking Kevin's side and view point.

My 'old' objection to the KJV [KING JAMES BIBLE VERSION] is that it is harder to understand for the untrained, less educated, functionally illiterate reader. I think that 50 - 150 years ago Americans could prob. understand it better-- but our school system has been "dumbed down" for a multitude of reasons. Even in college, many students have to take extra 'bone-head' courses to brush up/ get up to speed in their reading skills. Just like: I LOVE computers/ word processors -- but they lull a person into using "spell check" too often, enough to make the brain 'spell lazy'... just like 'speed dialing' may lead you forget the phone numbers... LOL.

Please do NOT throw all your other bible versions in the trash! This info is put out to give you the TRUTH as we see it into what corrupt things have been done to GOD'S OWN WORD..... and what a pity. It's kind of like a Fox News/ Glenn Beck expose..... something you NEED to know and possibly act on. Please check out Kevin's Blog as we do more deep investigations, and I promise to re-post his material and resources in a timely manner.

I will tell you one thing for sure -- I HATE lies, and God hates lies too! Satan is the father of the lie.... [See: Garden of Eden--Genesis] And messing with God's Word carries a nasty curse from God! [See: end of Revelation] And really, it shouldn't be that much of a surprise that these 'bad changes' have occurred, as Satan has his henchmen and women on earth who do his biding to bring down more human life and souls in these last days. Just like the JW-cult bible [New World Translation] that has been doctored and 'revised' to mislead their sect to swallow things that are NOT true/ un-scriptural --- they have taken away the Deity of Christ, and much more! The Mormons added an extra book on the end of their bible. The Muslims have also added the Qu'ran to the end of the existing 'regular' Old and New Testaments of the Bible that Christians have-- that super-cedes the rest! Did you all know these things?? It's better that we learn about these things now rather than latter.

The pocket bibles that I have been giving away at the Milwaukee VA and other places [and people all over] were all KJV Gideons Bibles anyway, and I surely have plenty of those fine, beautiful, poetic, true Holy Scriptures KJV's in my possession. Hey.. live and learn.

And yes-- I know full well someone could kill me for posting these truths. In fact, I would say that many heathen [and un-believers] would LOVE to murder me IF THEY COULD! Then I would be a Martyr -- and 'Heaven is my Home.'

I hope this news doesn't blow your gasket or wreck your day. I just bought a few NASB [New American Standard Bibles] a month ago, but today I ordered 3 more King James Versions. My wife has been using the KJV all along....Ha! Smart girl...

All I am saying is that I personally want/ demand the most accurate, truthful, unadulterated Bible there is.

Warm Regards,
Tom

Tom it is pretty bad. I am working on showing this later as I am concentrating on exposing the ESV and NIV.

For the NASB, grab your KJV and look at the following:

Luke 4:4. The NASB leaves out a very important part of the verse. We all know that man cannot live on bread alone. But what does man need to live? It isn't water.

Next Luke 11:2-4. Now remember Luke was the most detailed writer, yet this passage is leaving out some very important pieces in all MODERN translations. If my memory serves me, Luke was involved in law and very educated. He was very precise in his writings. And as we believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, then why are certain words ( important words ) missing from this passage?

Which father is the He referring to, could it be the pope? Who are we supposed to be delivered from? With the modern translations you cannot answer that question. But with the KJV you can.

Next goto Matthew 27:35 and you will see that the modern translation removes the prophecy of Christ, therefore trying to set up Jesus as just a man that was crucified , instead of the one prophesied in scriptures.

Next look at Luke 2:33. This is dangerous as it makes Christ seem he was just a man with an earthly father.

NASB: His father and mother were amazed.
KJV Joseph and his mother.

The KJV is correct because Jesus Christs father is God, not Joesph.

Now this is where things start to get scary.

Goto 1st John 5:7-8 Here you will see a play on words about the Trinity. The modified verse 8 to make it sound like verse 7 yet remove the fact that in heaven they are three and on earth they are three, therefore proving that Jesus is God in flesh. But in modern translations, this is removed.

The list goes on and on and on and some places it gets down right dangerous in the interpretations. I will be sharing these shortly.

BTW the ESV is the RSV updated and the RSV is a extreme liberal translation.

You know what breaks my heart the most. I bought a ton of Bibles ( I thought they were Bibles ) to give away and now I am not sure what to do with them. I think I will give them away as teachings tools and show where they leave things out.

Time to stock up on KJV and hand out a KJV with the other bibles I bought in order to teach and show the differences.

Again I will cover this topic in deeper detail. Keep a look out for an interview with the women that helped craft the devils book called the NIV.

Also, you might want to watch this video. it is about an hour long but pretty informative.

In church the pastor uses the KJV and I was following along in my NASB, this morning at Psalms 98:2b: "He has revealed His righteousness in the sight of the nations." [NASB] But in the KJV: "The Lord hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen." Big difference, IMO!! I suppose if I were a bible 'EXPERT' with a few PH.D's, maybe I would think different. But the Lord made the bible available for the plow boy on the farm and also the butcher's wife in the city as well as for educated men ... even as Paul said in 1st Cor. 3:19, etc....
This may be a minor point and not life and death for a Christian, but as you point out, a lesbian pumped some damning ideas into the "newer versions" like the NIV. I would like to know just how bad the NASB is corrupted.
