Delusion.

Friends,
Today was a big disappointment for my wife and I at the hospital. We had Sharon there on time, all prepped for OR when the docs did a special type of scan that showed Sharon's vertebrae to be worked on were in such bad shape, actually crumbling and falling apart, so they decided to abort the mission/ surgery/ procedure. As soon as she proved that she could urinate for the staff, we checked out and went home, after spending 5 long hours in the hospital! A good friend from church drove the 20 miles there to be with us, comfort and encourage us, Joe Balinger, and that meant a lot to us. Thanks, Joe! I also left 2 Bibles at the surgery waiting area and tried to witness to some one.

There are other treatments and surgery that might help my wife, but they are much more invasive and radical. So for now we will regroup, take stock, rethink our options and move on. She is still in much pain and quite irritable at this time. I had a few small problems with some of the staff-- namely getting them to answer very simple questions that I tried to spell out for them, and some rudeness on their part [which I reported], but then, that is usually the 'nature of the beast' in this fallen world of the 'End Times.'

My face is breaking out; Sharon thinks because of the stress she is going through pertaining to both her and me with the surgeries on the horizon, etc., so I bought 3 different skin cleansers at Walgreen's and vowed to go on a low sugar diet. I would just love to 'chill out' but I feel like I am 'standing guard duty' and am afraid to 'stand down' and relax. I am sure that my PTSD is kicking in again too.

The highly charged, expose type articles like the one I am posting tonight is blowing my mind also. I believe that we are just seeing the tip of the ice berg now of the many, deadly, false religions emerging on the American scene today. And the worst part is that MOST Christians and churches who don't study this stuff on a daily basis like me--- are probably still in the dark! Just like the new revelations mentioned about folks like the guy who wrote 'Purpose Driven Life.' When I learn so much at one reading that it makes my jaw drop-- I just want to share it!

While I was spending some time with Joe in the Hospital lobby where it was cool, thinking that Sharon was in surgery, I noticed a 'gentleman of color' handcuffed and ankle cuffed leaving the area with his deputy guard. It made me think that I didn't have it quite so bad after all. It made me remember when I was younger with unbridled tongue and short temper, how things COULD HAVE TURNED OUT IN MY LIFE! Too many combat Veterans
have lost control of their tempers and wound up in prison or worse... but perhaps they have found the Lord by now and have solid hope for the near future-- the Rapture. All I did was mention the term, RAPTURE, to the doctor and an RN, post-surgery today, and they rolled their eyes at me and didn't want any more to do with me today...Ha! You see, the people in prison who have found the Lord are in much better shape than the proud, haughty, so-called "professional" staff who glory in their un-Christian ignorance, at the hospital. Read: Proverbs 23:9. I am just giving thanks to the Lord, and the Holy Spirit for coming into my life to tame my wild heart, and walk the correct walk of life--according to the Bible. I will be perfect ONLY after I get to heaven, but enjoy heaven's gentle mercies now.

I shared a scripture I found today with Joe: "Speak not in the ears of a fool: for he will despise the wisdom of thy words." ~ Proverbs 23:9. Some of our methods are bolder than others but we all seek to share the Gospel as commanded. I feel the urgency of the 'times' and so I try to make every circumstance count to witness and share the Gospel, IMHO.

The Temporal Delusion - Part 1

By T. A. McMahon The Berean Call If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. (Colossians 3:1-4)I'm fascinated by

I'm sorry you waited all that time thinking she was getting her surgery. I cant't imagine how frustrating that must have been.

Hope you have a better rest of your week.
