True Peace and Calm.

Tom's Journal.

From what I have read about Chuck Baldwin, he seems to be an OK guy and a good biblical Christian. He even emailed me today.

My wife had so much discomfort, pain, trouble breathing this morning that I took her to the hospital at 10:00 AM today, but the "doctors" released her about 5 hours later! They said it was 'an ongoing thing/ problem'.... Ha! We don't know all the facts behind the scenes, but it sounds kind of fishy, and my mind is trying to figure it all out. 'Could they be jumping on the new obama-care wagon prematurely-- and kicking old people out giving them a pill and go home to die ??' Could the health insurance be giving the hospital directions about when a patient should be "cut-off?"
Sharon's feet, ankles and lower legs were very swelled up, and she had trouble breathing with fluid in the lungs. Maybe she will get more info when she sees her lady doctor on Monday.

I am going to build an easel to prop up my study books in my small wood shop in the basement soon and probably use Oak--then just Polyurethane to let the pure rich Oak shine thru . I already made one that really helps me, but I need another. The books that I study are so huge and clumsy [like that new Noah Webster 1827 Dictionary I just got] that it would be a smart idea to hold them up at an angle to make it easier top use/ read. I get much personal satisfaction when I 'create' something out of wood or steel. I like to work as fast as I can without making a mistake. But with power tools, you MUST obey the safety rules or get hurt! My Dad taught me all about safety on the farm. One of our neighbors, Joe Kogis, lost most of his fingers trying to clear his clogged corn picker while he still had it in gear--with the 'power take off' still engaged. All the surrounding neighbors held a 'benefit dance' in some one's barn to scrape up money for the family and medical bills. That was back in the '60's.

I was thinking about the scriptures in Matthew 24 concerning what Jesus said about the 'Last Days' and the composite 'Sign' that would high light the generation of our Deliverance by the Lord Jesus Christ. Verse 7b says, "and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and EARTHQUAKES, in divers places. [8] All these are the beginning of sorrow. [9] Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake."

You know that even from ancient Rome, etc., people have been documenting big time, serious disasters like earthquakes, frequency, damage and loss of life. But I doubt if Big News and Media bother to draw any conclusions from the recent frequency of recent EARTHQUAKES... let's say in the past 5-10 years compared to the last 100 years. That would prove to be interesting. I know that most true Christians are keeping an eye on this sort of thing! Remember, the older we grow -- the more we can compare. Unfortunately, I think that the younger generation of 30 and below are generally 'LOST' in their ignorance of Bible things and Prophecy. I KNOW from speaking to our old teachers at class reunins that taught us in High School, that 1967 was a 'pivotal year' when things changed over night, and most respect, honor, dignity, and morals got tossed out the window. So said Mr. Joe Kaster, who taught English, and was a fine football, track and wrestling coach, at Waterford High School when I was there, those years from 1964- 1967.

Strangely enough, I have more peace of mind and tranquility NOW -- more than ever, even with the 'world on fire' with all rumors of war, crime, corruption, and the failing economy. I can be thankful for the Bible and Holy Spirit for the calm in my heart and mind. Do all of my friends and readers have that same CALM? If a nervous wreck like me can have peace and calm -- others can too. Just give up your pride and selfish human lusts and desires, and then acquire God's mind on things and start doing His Will. And there is only ONE place that I know of to find that precious information...... Guess where!

By Nathan Jones--- Lamb & Lion Ministries. In December 2009 I was interviewed by Bill Salus, author of the popular Psalm 83-themed book Isralestine, host of the radio program "Prophecy Update," and evangelist on the end times website Prophecy Depot. Bill and I spent much of the interview discussing the Rapture, Middle East politics and my "left behind" video "Jesus Came. What's Next?"Bill has been kind
