Back in the Saddle again.

Here is my 2005 Dodge Caravan that I am trying to sell-- but it should go well this Springtime.

I figured that I would promote one of my fav. blogs-- below, BIBLE PROPHECY blog. I find it so interesting as it brings me up to date every day concerning special stuff that is happening in the world that relate to Bible Prophecy, which is so important in these 'Last Days.' Most serious bible students already know what the future will bring-- and that helps us run our present day lives better and with more wisdom, in 2011. I suppose that some investments we might have made if we were ignorant-- are better thought out with proper Bible knowledge. We ought to also know what our 'MAIN PRIORITIES' should be as Christians as we look forward to Christ's Rapture and beyond. Lastly, these things should strengthen us so that we don't lose heart as more violence and poor economy befall the whole world.

I had a good day because I picked up my pick up truck, all repaired and shiny/ clean! They even cleaned the inside of the Ram 4 by 4. The young offender's company, [ who backed into me] a few weeks ago paid all the repairs, and the insurance people didn't have to get involved. The shop put on a new right rear fender and back bumper. So I'm back in the saddle again, and I called Sharon to ask if she wants anything when I visit her tomorrow.

It just dawned on me that perhaps the biggest reason why this Winter seems to grow so long and slow is that I am all alone at home for the first time in a long time!! Duh... And post-op surgery that is not healing like it should slows me down to a grimaced face walk. I get cold more so too, but wear more, better quality clothes. Seems like even when I broke my neck in '97, and another time fractured 12 ribs in 2001, I seemed to heal up faster and was back to work in less than 3 months!! Must be old age that took the 'wind out of my sails.' I was also 100 pounds lighter, but then I could work every day and lift weights too. I have been so close to death [AFTER Vietnam: 68-70!] so many times, at work, at play, on motorcycles [my big passion for many years], etc. I bought my first motorcycle in 1973 and sold my last bike-- Goldwing, 2 years ago. I have had to slap myself in the face with Aqua Velva, and force myself to change-- or die. I gave up smoking in 1973 also, and my son was born that year in December... Brrrr.

I am watching too much TV, when I should be studying the Bible, but my eyes are having trouble reading fine print-- but that's no excuse for me. I do read many Bible based blogs and articles that encourage me.

I heard today that more 'born-again Christians' are more likely to get divorced than unbelievers in the USA!! The churches are afraid to teach the truth of God's Word, and there are many false Christians, perhaps. We ought to work harder and take our Faith more seriously.... all of us. Or is it that unbelievers don't even bother to get married anymore....lol?? I am NOT pointing fingers because I have made many mistakes too when I was a wild man.

I am going to ask if my wife would like any snail mail letters from other Christians since her nursing home seldom has the Internet running correctly. If some of you would like to volunteer, get back with me via you personal email address, please. I believe that my dear wife leads a somewhat lonely life at that nursing home, and it's 20 miles from my house, and gas is getting higher.

Playing Israel's Good Hand
