Have not most of us heard, that the Anti-Christ is this guy and that man, etc., and he will be coming from a certain place, country, location, etc ??   Many say that he is Obama...., or the Pope, or someone from the old 'Holy Roman Empire,'      But how much is just  speculation, rather than fact?   I am and always have been, very interested and curious, and so you see my blog posts reflect that.   Here is more.  Enjoy.    I have been reading Revelation, Chapter 2, verses 12- 14, talking about the seat of Satan.   Someday we will all understand all the prophecies and figure them all out.   If I am thought of as a teacher with the Holy Spirit,  I want to know and understand as much as I possibly can.   It's easy for THIS generation to just sit back and listen to the scuttlebutt [false rumors, and baloney] flying around,  but harder to sit down and READ/ STUDY THE BIBLE ! ! !   I have had to study and memorize "dry" subjects on Finance, Insurance, Health, Investments, because that was my 'bread and butter' for a while, when I got laid off from a good job at AMC/ Chrysler, for 6 long, scary years, of wondering if they would ever call me back.   I didn't just sit down and cry in my beer, and ask, "Why ME, Lord ??"   I changed my MOS, job title many times in order to pay the bills, but my family/ kids never understood all the mental anguish I went through, nor my wife, at the time.  Sorry, but it isn't far from my mind, when I had to fight just to survive, even when most of my family and "friends" deserted me !!   I truly know what the term, "Homeless" means!   And it took all of my combat skills to survive in the Milwaukee Winter of '94- '95,  but God was the only one there for me, and that is how I surrendered my heart and soul to Him.   PTL.   A person truly has to learn to be HUMBLE, the first step to Salvation, and serving God, and accepting Jesus Christ.   Because The Lord will NOT use you nor accept you unless you allow the Holy Spirit to clean up your mind and heart, and start LEARNING by studying His Special BOOK, the Bible.   Most of the world [or mankind] will never take that first step.   God would rather that ALL men accept His conditions, but the Scriptures say that the majority of the world will go to hell.  
       Jesus said, at Matthew 10: 37... "He that    loveth  father or mother more than me is not worthy of me;  and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.  38.  And he that taketh not  his cross and followeth after me, is not worthy of me...  etc."   And like I always ask/ request of you all,  just read the whole chapter, or book, to get the whole picture.  Don't take my word for it,  I might be lying... LOL !   I will tell you one thing...  if it meant my entire life in eternity, I would want to know what the right thing to do, and what requirements God sets for us to gain heavenly peace and glory, because some of us have already been through hell.   I personally believe that is why former Combat Veterans find it easy to follow Jesus as their new Captain... in God's Army!   They know that THIS Commander is honest, true, and loves His troops!! 
      We had some extremely arrogant officers over in Vietnam: 68-70, and I just happened to be stuck in Aviation school, and then Helicopters in 'Nam.  Some of our Warrant Officers were great, down to earth, smart, gentlemen, but still very professional, and GREAT, skilled pilots, with 'true grit.'  I won't name name's here but some commissioned officers could not fly nor navigate, and were just plain mean, and selfish, too.  It was SOP [standard operating procedure] for us crew chiefs and door gunners to help and assist the two pilots when getting out of their  restraining harnesses, and slide back the bullet proof side shields so they could get out of the ship after landing.  If a ship [helicopter] got shot down, and didn't auto- rotate, it would 'drop like a rock' and the JP-4, or JP-5 would catch fire and explode, burning everyone who was to slow to get away.   So, some of us, I am sure, who were abused by some jerk officer- pilot, might just grab his M-60 machine gun and ammo., and run like heck to escape the flames... and I guess the pilots fate depended on his relationship with his crew, to live, or to burn.   Most of the guys were nice, kind, but we all had to be ready to obey orders INSTANTLY, if not sooner !!  It meant our loves.   I see my relationship with the Lord, very much the same way.  I am not about to fool around when the times are so near to the Rapture, and other Bible prophecy coming true, as we speak. 

I can't wait to get my 2 new KJV GIANT PRINT Bibles in the mail pretty soon, to give my tired eyes a break.   Old age can be a Bear !!

Terri is off to Green Bay, WI., again, to pick up/ help a man home who just had a heart attack, in a young age,  thus helping an older lady at church who is that man's mother.  Sometimes, I am blessed with a wife, dear Terri, who is a Saint !   I am sure that the Lord brought us together.  PTL. 
    I had to see the VA dietitian yesterday, and found out that I am eating too much... and only supposed to eat about 2000 calories per day !!!   No more soda pop.    You can start calling me "Popeye" for all the spinach I will be eating from now on.  [smile].  And the VA gave me a large size scale, etc.   I am taking advantage of all the freebee's I can get NOW,  because Obama might take them all away in the near future, so he and Congress can help the illegal aliens live better...  LOL !

The horse rises from the ground on its two front legs first.  A cow rises from the ground with its two hind legs first.  How wise the Lord is in all His works of creation!  God's wisdom is revealed in His arrangement of sections and segments, as well as in the number of grains.  Each watermelon has an even number of stripes on the rind.  Each orange has an even number of segments.  Each ear of corn has an even number of rows.  Each stalk of wheat has an even number of grains. Every bunch of bananas has on its lowest row an even number of bananas, and each row decreases by one, so that one row has an even number and the next row an odd number.  - The waves of the sea roll in on shore twenty-six to the minute in all kinds of weather.  All grains are found in even numbers on the stalks, and the Lord specified thirty fold, sixty fold, and a hundred fold all even numbers.  God has caused the flowers to blossom at certain specified times during the day.  Linnaeus, the great botanist, once said that if he had a conservatory containing the right kind of soil, moisture and temperature, he could tell the time of day or night by the flowers that were open and those that were closed!  The lives of each of you may be ordered by the Lord in a beautiful way for His glory, if you will only entrust Him with your life. If you try to regulate your own life, it will only be a mess and a failure.  Only the One Who made the brain and the heart can successfully guide them to a profitable end.I HOPE YOU FIND THIS AS FASCINATING AS I DID. Friday, March 21, 2014    Prophesy, the antichrist, and the nations   It seems The Daily Jot about Russia's prophetic significance got people to thinking, which is a good thing. And when people think, they begin to ask questions. I might say that questions about prophecy are best answered with Bible study--not by studying what people teach or say about the Bible. You put a lot of effort into reading what people say about prophecy in the Bible, you may as well put that effort into finding out for yourself what the Bible says. Once you get started, you will not want to stop. There will be so many things you will find that have been taught as fact, but they are not what is in the Holy Scriptures. Remember, CONTEXT, CONTEXT, CONTEXT, and a few other little secrets are key.   There are primarily three methods of interpreting the names, peoples, and nations mentioned by the prophets in describing the coming empire of the antichrist. They are: The Ancestral-Migration Method--This method of tracking down and identifying the actual bloodlines of these ancient people is difficult. Many of these people have migrated, intermarried, or just disappeared. Because thousands of years have passed since the prophecies were made, tracking down most of the civilizations mentioned is almost impossible. However, some ancestral connections are fairly well established. The descendants of Ishmael, for example, are still identifiable as the Arab people in the Middle East.   The second is The Hyper Allegorical Method--Many conservative scholars over-compensate for the problem of the ancestral migration method by stating that those names and peoples mentioned by the prophets are simply references to general enemies of God's people. This approach makes allegorical the multitude of references throughout the prophets of names such as Moab, Edom, Assyria, or Lebanon to simply mean either every last nation on the entire earth or any end-time enemy of God's people. This approach overlooks the literal plain sense meaning of scripture. This hyper allegorical method is the most common among conservative commentators.   The third method is The Prophetic Literal Approach--This method identifies the location of the land or people at the time the prophesy was made, then looks at who inhabits the land today. This helps to avoid arbitrarily pointing to nations that have no real connection to the people or regions named by the prophets. Next is to emphasize the persistent violent enmity toward the people in the land of Israel. This is the most repeated basis for judgment of the enemies of God's people in the prophesies of the Day of the Lord which point primarily to the Middle East and Northern African nations.   The Prophetic Literal Approach, to me, is the most reasonable approach and that is the one I choose to follow. That's why I believe it is a reach for America to be mentioned in the prophecies--you just cannot find it anywhere. No doubt, I agree that America shapes the playing out of the prophecies (just as Russia is), but neither are mentioned players on the field.     As to the antichrist, a lot has been written about who he is and where he comes from. But the prophets are consistent. The "antichrist" is alluded to as the Assyrian in Isaiah 10:5,10:24,14:25, 19:23, 30:31, 31:8, Micah 5:5-6, and Hosea 11:5. Ezekiel 38:17 refers to him as "he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel." It is quite possible that the antichrist/the Assyrian will arise from what is now Turkey. Jesus Christ identifies modern Turkey as the seat of Satan. In Revelation 2:12-13, Jesus says, "And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write: These things says he which has the sharp sword with two edges; I know thy works, and where you dwell, even where Satan's seat is..."    Remember as you study and discern, don't just pick out verses and build your own context around them as have many modern Bible teachers. Keep the verses in context. You will also find that the prophets are extremely consistent in what is written, especially about the end times.
