Pope doesn't like Guns.

Well now... Isn't THIS interesting ? ?  The Socialist Pope has shown his true colors now, and I am glad, thank you very much.   You'd better know that I have to pick my words carefully today, because I would never want to 'stumble or grieve anyone of the Catholic Faith.'   I have many good, fine, relatives whom I love and cherish, who are still of that persuasion, besides ME being born and raised in Catholicism, even attending a Catholic grade school in Milwaukee, WI.  Yes,  I have to be very careful of what I say, except it's general knowledge that most Catholics do NOT know their bibles, no matter which one they may choose to read, if they have ever done so....  sorry, friends.   And since the KJV Bible is written on a 6th grade reading level, what does THAT SAY ??  I didn't pick that grand Book up and run though it on the first day either...   but with the Holy Spirit, even a mere child can read, assimilate and understand it !   And you really have to give some false religions due credit as their children can and will be disciplined enough to read and explain some of the bible !   My challenge is that:  let any Catholic challenge me on this subject, and you know my email address well.   The reason I am saying this is because:

QUESTION: Just before his arrest and death Jesus told his disciples to sell their clothes and use the money to buy themselves swords (Luke 22:35-38).

OK, I am done with my "damage"  today, but sometimes a little challenge is just what we need to set a fire under our back sides, and that is how I got started.   Sometimes in our prideful way we start digging deep to prove the other guy wrong, only to agree with him, and if it's all done in a spirit of correction and kindness, one man can 'gain' another as his brother, and they will become good friends !     But you will find out that it does take some hard work, blood,  sweat, and tears of humility....  but that is just what God is looking for !   Smile !   In fact, I USED to be a strong willed, bull-headed, prideful, man in my young early days, and had a lot to learn.   I found out that IF a man used a gentle, mild, humble spirit, he could gain me as a listener, and sometimes a friend.   That is what the bible says we ought to do,  RESPECT and LOVE your fellow man, so that he will listen to your logic and common sense.
Jesus, Himself, told/ instructed his followers to buy swords if they didn't already have them !   A sword in those days was considered to be the best weapon of defense.... and so guns are today.   The old adage being:  "Never bring s knife to a gun fight."   Guess who will win that fight.... duh?   I served in the U.S. Army, and I would know a little bit about weapons --- please give me that much, friends.   A man with a knife or sword doesn't have much of a chance against a well trained soldier who has a M-60 machine gun with enough ammo available, since your bullets will travel and kill for at least one mile or more.   A 7.62 mm rifle bullet is a pretty stout projectile [bullet], and lethal.   I also have a bow and arrows that will bring down a full sized deer, or a man.   But you get the point.
When the Vatican chose a gentleman from South America, I pretty much guessed what would happen, because the people in South America were always in some kind of war of liberation or fight to free the people from some dictator, and so Socialism was considered to be a good, fair, way of governing compared to all the killings, murders and corruption down there, and I can see why....  although I would much rather live in America where we still have some of the best Freedoms in the world....    but hold on, folks.   Yes, the Pope and Mr. Obama should be pretty good friends by now.   The RCC is only NOW just starting to punish some of the errant priests who have molested children in their home parishes, ONLY NOW !   I would also recommend,  "Fox's Book of Martyrs."
And so the bottom line should be:   Just whom will get "Left Behind" after the Lord comes to Rapture up His Saints and true Followers.   And BTW,  doesn't the Pope  have his own 'Security Detail' of the  Royal  Swiss Guards who also have swords, but also machine guns??     And his bullet proof "Pope-mobile?"   The Muslims have tried to kill him a few times, and he is well protected.   Sorry,  friends, I just cannot agree with what the Pope says about abandoning our 2nd Amendment Rights, and I will wait until the Lord takes us off this planet first.

Warm Regards,
Tom

Says They Can’t Call Themselves Christians

According to the Pope, Jesus doesn’t approve of guns or anyone who makes guns.
Anyone who makes weapons or invests in weapons industries is a hypocrite if they call themselves Christian, Pope Francis said Sunday.
Francis issued his toughest condemnation to date of the weapons industry at a rally of thousands of young people at the end of the first day of his trip to the Italian city of Turin.
“If you trust only men you have lost,” he told the young people in a long, rambling talk about war, trust and politics after putting aside his prepared address.
“It makes me think of … people, managers, businessmen who call themselves Christian and they manufacture weapons. That leads to a bit a distrust, doesn’t it?” he said to applause.
He also criticized those who inv
