Mr. Trump's Huge Gun Policy.

Hi Friends,
I am NOT picking one candidate, nor choosing another, yet.   But I like what Mr. Trump is doing here in regards to our precious 2nd Amendment right and privilege.   As some of you good people know,  I am a History buff and a Bible student.   I can imagine my ancestors in Northern Europe bearing Arms, like the sword, sharp knives and axes, that had utilitarian uses....    to butcher hogs and cattle, fell trees and make furniture....   but also to protect hearth and home !   Of course there must be total responsibility when handling these valuable "tools" and weapons, and laws to govern them.   Without some form of Gov't and management, we would be living in an anarchy, and I studied those things in High School Civics class, with Mr. William Bass, at Waterford H.S. in S.E. Wisconsin, in the mid- 1960's.   He was also my football coach.     I had some very good, smart teachers and instructors in school.... I was [we were] Blessed !   
      My Dad bought me my first firearm when I was 13 years old, on the family farm in Wisconsin, which was a  single barrel,  .410 shot gun, and I was so thrilled and happy on that birthday.   But my father taught my brother and I the safe way to handle guns, as he served in the US Navy, as a Seabee, and wounded in the Pacific theater on an Island called, Saipan.    I joined the U.S. Army, when I was age 19,  frustrated that I didn't have enough money to attend College... although accepted at several WI Universities.   I figured that life on the farm was just too boring, and I NEEDED to get involved in something much BIGGER than myself and LEARN special things that might help me in latter life.   I also wanted to follow the foot steps of my beloved Schuckman uncles and Dad,, in serving my country, and "See the World !"  
     

  It took me a while to get 'acclimated' to military life  but I finally found my 'niche' and fitted in that organization, and served well without any discipline problem [PTL !], also was awarded the "Good Conduct Medal" among the other 2 rows of ribbons on my chest.   I never considered myself a "hero"  but just a good Soldier that eventually got a case of PTSD, but didn't know it until after I got out --- back into civilian life.    I found out that leaving the Army behind was a lot harder than joining, training and fitting in !  Back in civilian life, it seemed like everything and every body were in 'slow motion' while my own mind was going at 100 mph,  according to the doctors at the Milwaukee VAMC [Veterans Administration Medical Center], Hospital.   Studying the KJV Bible and "Knowing the Lord, Jesus Christ," was the best way to live a 'normal life.'   I highly recommend reading the Gospel and the book of Romans,  plus finding a good, proper, KJV Bible- loving -  teaching, church.    But if you don't know your bible that well,  how on earth will you find a church that teaches only KJV Bible oriented TRUTH ??   The Bible is written on a 6th grade level, and there are NO excuses for not reading and understanding what it means to be a real, Jesus following Christian !   Especially in these 'Last Days" before the return of our Lord.   And you don't want to be 'Left Behind.'    We all need the Holy Spirit to help us understand the Scriptures, and all you have to do is humbly ASK for HIM to come into our hearts and help us gain knowledge and wisdom while reading and studying the Bible....  THAT'S IT !!   It's a FREE gift, like the Grace that Father God bestows on all humble, honest people will receive, if they just ask the Father for it.   I find that so remarkable !!   Again,  how can we really know what God and His Son, Jesus, want us to do on earth?   The simple answer is:   Praise and worship God the Father, our Creator,  and follow His Son by sharing what we have learned about Salvation, and witnessing about His loving Grace and the GOSPEL.  Look up:   1st Timothy, 2nd chapter,  verses 3 and 4.   There you will find out what God wants of us, to do.  I have given away many bibles in my life to those who say they don't already have one, and promise that they will read and study it as often as they can....  out of my own pocket !!   I figure that I am doing the Will of God, and I have also studied with many folks, just talking and teaching them the facts of the bible.   This has become my main mission in life after I retired, but also ever since I came home from Vietnam in 1970.   It has helped me to 'tame down' and deal with my won challenges and problems, trying to forget and negate the frequent Nightmares of Battle.   I had a really bad episode of battle.... 'trying to fly and land a helicopter after the 2 pilots got shot !!'   I just hate to have nightmares like that ! !   But, I am sure that we all have major trauma and nightmares of some sort, like sexual and emotional abuse, dire poverty, oppression, and even Gov't suppression in some countries.   This is another case for defending our 2nd Amendment Freedoms and rights !   Our Christian brothers and sisters in other pagan lands are suffering so much, being butchered by Islam, etc.   Our Green Berets are experts in educating, arming, training indigenous people to organize and fight for themselves, with some of our support.   I have witnessed and seen this done in Vietnam !   They can drop an "A-Team" into a community or village and whip up a trained fighting force to beat down the enemy who come to take the young men, food, "taxes", etc. from defenseless villages  !!   I love to train and teach good people too, in many ways.   I used to teach guitar, wood working, gun safety and hunting, to my own kids and others, and that gave me deep satisfaction in the last 66 years....  but now I am too disabled,  but I still have a mouth and tongue to teach the humble and meek.    So, that is where I am now.

So,  as I said before, owning, protecting, and caring for your weapon/ fire arm is very important, so you should take a safety course ASAP, to learn the right way, from the very start !!    My qualified Father, and the Army taught me a lot,  but finally taking that gun safety course  U.P. here where I live,  really showed me some  great tricks  and safety measures !!

If we ever lose our right to bear Arms in this bankrupt country --- we will lose every thing else, and become SLAVES !     It's as simple as that.

BOOM: Trump Announces Huge Gun Policy… Calls for National Concealed Carry and Blasts Efforts to Violate Rights on Magazine Sizes!

During the Wednesday’s CNN Republican Debate, moderators allotted for very little time for candidate to make clear their position on the Second Amendment.
Being given literally zero time to discuss his position on the issue of gun rights, front-runner Donald J. Trump released an official statement pertaining to the matter directly on to his campaign website. Let me tell you, Michael Bloomberg and his ‘Everytown’ ilk are not going to like this one bit…

The opening statement reads “The Second Amendment to our Constitution is clear. The right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed upon. Period.” 
Yes… He added “Period” after a period with another period, making it clear that he believes the people have the right to keep and bear arms under the constitution, end of story. Ok, I dig that… Moving on.
Trump’s statement immediately addresses liberal arguments on gun control by explaining that the right to bear arms is an essential part of self-defense.

“The Second Amendment guarantees a fundamental right that belongs to all law-abiding Americans. The Constitution doesn’t create that right – it ensures that the government can’t take it away…. the Second Amendment’s purpose is to guarantee our right to defend ourselves and our families. This is about self-defense, plain and simple.
It’s been said that the Second Amendment is America’s first freedom. That’s because the Right to Keep and Bear Arms protects all our other rights… Protecting that freedom is imperative.”

Oh, it gets far better…
Going on to attack gun-control efforts by the Obama administration along with a list of catastrophic gun-control failures around the nation that have done absolutely nothing but harm law-abiding citizens, Trump states it is time to get serious about prosecuting criminals.

The Obama administration’s record on that is abysmal. Violent crime in cities like Baltimore, Chicago and many others is out of control. Drug dealers and gang members are given a slap on the wrist and turned loose on the street. This needs to stop.
Why does that matter to law-abiding gun owners? Because they’re the ones who anti-gun politicians and the media blame when criminals misuse guns. 
Here’s another important way to fight crime – empower law-abiding gun owners to defend themselves. Law enforcement is great… but they can’t be everywhere all of the time. Our personal protection is ultimately up to us. That’s why I’m a gun owner, that’s why I have a concealed carry permit, and that’s why tens of millions of Americans have concealed carry permits as well. It’s just common sense. To make America great again, we’re going to go after criminals and put the law back on the side of the law-abiding.

Trump goes on to cover the nation’s broke mental health system, explaining that “all of the tragic mass murders that occurred in the past several years have something in common – there were red flags that were ignored.” 
Trump covered the “total failure” of gun and magazine bans while attacking gun-grabber efforts to strike fear in the minds of the general public by using “scary” terms such as “assault weapons”, “military-style weapons” and“high capacity magazines.”
The policy calls for an end to efforts to strip rights to own such magazines and firearms.
In probably one of the most important parts of the policy, Trump calls for a National Conceal Carry program to function like a driver’s license. While we believe the 2nd Amendment serves as a carry permit and other permits should not be required, Trump’s stance is a huge step in the right direction.

NATIONAL RIGHT TO CARRY. The right of self-defense doesn’t stop at the end of your driveway. That’s why I have a concealed carry permit and why tens of millions of Americans do too. That permit should be valid in all 50 states. A driver’s license works in every state, so it’s common sense that a concealed carry permit should work in every state. If we can do that for driving – which is a privilege, not a right – then surely we can do that for concealed carry, which is a right, not a privilege.
