America, the Great !

Tom's Journal.

If this post of the past is somehow offensive....  you just might want to MOVE ON,  shove off, and march on out of this country....   sorry.   All my readers known me to be fair and accommodating,  but this is the bottom line for me.    Like I have said so many times before ---  I have already been to, and visited many other countries and long ago,   but America is my Home,  and I plan to respect and support her.

Have a great day !

So Teddy Roosevelt said this in 1907, he knew what he was talking about...let's not forget it

1907 PHOTO - This one needs to circulate
I think this is one email that needs to be forwarded until every
American with a computer receives it.
The year is 1907, one hundred and ten years ago.
Theodore Roosevelt's ideas on Immigrants and being an AMERICAN in 1907.
'In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin.
But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all.
We have room for but one flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language.. And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.'
Theodore Roosevelt 1907
Makes even more sense today doesn't it?
