Hi  Friends,
A prior service guy just sent this "History Lesson" to me through the email, and I liked it so much that I decided to share it with all my Blog readers and friends all over the world.
I had fun and great camaraderie playing high school football at Waterford high school, in S.E. Wisconsin in the mid- 1960's but also learned a lot from our great coaches -- about growing up and life in general.   I also ran in Track, the half-mile, high hurdles and pole vaulting.    But I also had to come home every night after practice and do our farm chores, milking cows, feeding out beef cattle and hogs, etc.   I always dreamed of having my own farm after I got out of the U.S. Army:  30 March 70,  but that never happened.

A man looks back at what he has accomplished before he is at the age of retirement and death,  and so many of my friends and Army buddies and workmates are already dead!   I sometimes call and talk to the widows of my good buddies and try to encourage them as best I can, although we all live thousands of miles away.

I had a VAMC doctor's appointment early today, and still searching for a "mechanism"   to help me stop losing my temper BEFORE it happens.   Yes, I am honestly trying to better myself -- but I know and understand that technically "we want to ALLOW the Holy Spirit [or Holy Ghost] to be active and operate inside of us [we] Christians.   Alone,  we can do nothing and fall flat on our face every stinking time!   I ought to know... LOL.   The sin of Pride is also aggravated by STD--Satan the Devil.  Satan means--Rebel or Resister; and Devil means Slanderer or Liar.   His name is and was well earned and accurate!  Now,  I honestly know how to take the blame for all my sins and errors/ mistakes that I make every single day.  But as we get older and full of pain, constant discomfort and agony, we get impatient and crabby and sometimes bark orders at people, etc.  I just think and wonder how our ancestors put up with the same old age, pain related problems centuries ago.  And they most likely didn't live that long.   And now the Gov't and VA system has taken away most of the Opiates and painkillers from most of the Veterans after they PROMISED to take care of us!  That's another kick in the teeth and loss of VA honor,  more lies.   Someday those doctors and so-called 'medical people/ staff' will want the right medications so they can eat their own foul food that the served us.
Well, there are some good, VA doctors who care for the Veterans and try to help us.   Doctor Patterson is also a Christian and gave me some good advice, and taught me some "breathing" techniques, today that might help me.   I even attended the same church that he attends a few times in the past.
I have "congestive heart failure," mainly because I am obese--- too fat and out of shape.   But the VA in Milwaukee, Wisconsin initially messed up the replacement surgery of my Right knee replacement about 12 years ago, so that the pain travels up my spine and causes pain, etc.   Just something I have to live with --- and hope that the Rapture comes soon.   In the meantime,  I will keep trying and pray more.    I ask for your prayers, also, please.   Thanks.

Warm Regards,
Tommy Schuckman

I very much love my wife, Loretta Schuckman, and probably don't deserve her.  She is a great cook, cleaner, loves to sew also can fresh foods.   I only wish that she would smile more.  Without Lori,  I would have a very hard time taking care of myself.  We are both on FaceBook,  but I don't know for how much longer.   I cannot prove it,  but I think that many Media Orgs are crooked.   I probably won't watch much NFL Football this coming year, either.

History...history not often reported or leaked to the ticket holders. I hope this helps you; it opened my eyes, to understand just when the public's respect for the NFL organization started to crumble....

* In 2012 the NFL had an issue with Tim Tebow kneeling for each game to pray, they also had an issue with Tebow wearing John 3:16 as part of his eye-black to avoid glare, and made him take it off.
* In 2013 the NFL fined Brandon Marshall for wearing green cleats to raise awareness for people with mental health disorders.
* In 2014 Robert Griffin III (RG3) entered a post-game press conference wearing a shirt that said "Know Jesus Know Peace" but was forced to turn it inside out by a NFL uniform inspector before speaking at the podium.
* In 2015 DeAngelo Williams was fined for wearing "Find the Cure" eye black for breast cancer awareness.
* In 2015 William Gay was fined for wearing purple cleats to raise awareness for domestic violence. (Not that the NFL has a domestic violence problem...).
*In 2016 the NFL prevented the Dallas Cowboys from wearing a decal on their helmet in honor of 5 Dallas Police officers killed in the line of duty.
* 2016 the NFL threatened to fine players who wanted to wear cleats to commemorate the 15th anniversary of 9/11.
So tell me again how the NFL supports free speech and expression, all of a sudden... It seems quite clear based on these facts that the NFL has taken a position against any action by NFL players demonstrating RESPECT for any issue: For God, social causes such as mental health, cancer, domestic violence, for cops killed arbitrarily for being cops, for the Memory of 9/11...
BUT they will allow demonstrations of DISRESPECT for our National Flag, our National Anthem, for America , and for the American People, if it will help mollify a particular Group and its supporters. That is who and what the NFL now is shown itself to be.
Pass this post along to all your friends and family, if you believe it worthy of sharing.
Honor our military; too many of whom have come home with the American Flag draped over their coffin.
