'A Multitude of Counselors.'

Hello Friends and Readers:
My wife is deep into STUDY for an important exam that she will take in a few days, but that's all I want to say on the subject.  But I am trying to help her study and re-reading the same material now, also.  Perhaps you might remember my posting that,  years ago it seems that most of the companies wanted to hire a "Master Tradesman" --- but nowadays they are reverting back to hiring a "Jack of all Trades," to save money on hiring a '2nd man' to do the work.  In other words, companies like to save the money of getting a 'Welder' but also a 'tool maker' or a pipefitter, or an electrician all  in one man!'  And so about 20 years ago, I was perplexed in my thoughts about being so many skilled trades operator all at the same time --- after I worked so hard in college, etc.

But, come to think of it, the U.S. Army even "cross trains' their "Special Forces" Soldiers to be trained in 2 or more fields [MOS'S] BEFORE THEY RECEIVE THEIR "Green Beret."   And Hospitals also train their nurses and staff to do multiple tasks that make them more valuable $$$.  And how many times have students picked multiple lines of study, such as a Major and a Minor?   At one point in my life,  I pursued a career in Computers, and then Sales, and then woodworking/ carpentry, but I ended up doing Welding for a living.  And then when Chrysler called me back to work in Kenosha, Wisconsin, I couldn't refuse the $$$ great Benefits and money, and so I finally retired from that huge Company after 30. 5 years of service.
But writing is my main desire, after Heaven.   And I feel good when I try to help other Christian Organizations.   Smile.

Friends,  Let me broach a subject concerning what too many lazy people like to say.   But there is a distinct danger in that mindset.   The KJV Bible says at James 5: 12,  'Let  your yes means yes, and your no mean no.'   But those kinds of people also think 'it's cute' to deceive others so that the liar can add more coins into their purse/ wallet.   The Father and the Son see everything going down on planet earth.   I am not saying that 'all laws are right,' but most are made to help mankind and keep good order in Society.
Yahweh, Father God gave a PERFECT LAW to an IMPERFECT people that He loved, the Israelites, many years ago.  And many parts of that same Law are still incorporated in English and American Law Codes/ Systems!!  Rulers, Kings, and World leaders are put in place by the authority of God, and they can surely be removed, too.   Most of us knew that Mr. Donald J. Trump was a very imperfect gentleman before he was elected!  We were not looking to elect a preacher/ pastor or Saint.  If anything we might even call Mr. Trump a "baby, or a new Christian, at best.  But smart people with lots of money like to surround themselves with a 'multitude of wise counselors.'   I always figured that I wanted to do the same thing but rubbing elbows with other smart, successful people, also Christians.  They make me feel good inside and give me practical advice and encouragement.  And then I help them in areas of my own expertice.  PTL.

  1. Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established. Young's Literal Translation Without counsel is the making void of purposes, And in a multitude of counsellors, it is established.
  2. Why is a multitude of counselors valuable (Proverbs 15:22)?

Proverbs 11:14 and 24:6 also mention the value of a “multitude of counselors” or having “many advisors.” The general principle is that there is wisdom in seeking a wide range of advice from others instead of relying solely on one’s own knowledge or intuition .

  4. After reading about the 'last days' right before the SHTF time,  the book of Matthew 24 warns us all [who study the BOOK], about many so-called "preachers and teachers" teaching us scary and horrifying things and events, so why wouldn't most men become agitated.  Personally,  folks,  I am NOT a rich man, so right now on December 12th, 2018, there is not too much I can do to prepare.  Stuff like that takes many years of planning and preparation, IMHO.  My idea is to "Draw close to God." ---Jame 4: 8.

4:1-10 Since all wars and fightings come from the corruptions of our own hearts, it is right to mortify those lusts that war in the members. Wordly and fleshly lusts are distempers, which will not allow content or satisfaction.

James 4:8. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you This must be understood consistently with the perfection of God's immensity and omnipresence: the saints draw nigh to God when they present their bodies in his sanctuary; when they tread in his courts and attend his ordinances; where they always find it good for them to draw nigh unto him; and blessed is the man that

I like to give my friends and readers options and more to choose from... LOL.  you can really take your time and immerse yourselves in the material and reading!     Food for Thought.   Just remember,  our lives are in God's hands no matter how we slice things.  So why not invest some time in prayerful study to learn as much as we can, now, today... and not tomorrow.
