Lies - The Knickerbockers

My cleaning lady came today as scheduled for 3 hours of hard work, cleaning and organizing, and I had my wife sit near her to watch how she makes more room and frees up more space in our smaller, humble old farm house in the sticks. Personally, I think it just takes some common sense-- but everyone has their own way and ideas. I am happy with the work, farmed out by the Milwaukee VA, Social Services, and very appreciative! It sure helps us by taking the edge off bending down to scrub and clean in hard to get areas. PTL!

I really don't know why we wasted an hour last night watching obama on TV with all his BS, lies and deceptions but was pleased to see the Republicans sitting on their butts instead of worshiping the 'Messiah.' Don't you just want to tie and gag Nancy Pelosi, watching her spring to her feet and jumping a yard into the air as a cheer leader at a Satanic ritual...lol? I know those are strong words but she has done her very best to drive God out of the picture and promote abortion and the Gay agenda! And rewarding the goof up- home buyers for over spending too much on their dream houses figuring that WE TAXPAYERS WILL BAIL THEM OUT to get a better deal and lower interest seems very unfair and morally wrong! What about the other 90% of us who struggle and save to pay the mortgage on time and make IT the main priority of our asset management?? It that the way we should teach our young-- with no responsibility or sound reasoning ?? My readers and I pretty much know what 'type/ class of people have been living off the public tit for the past 4 generations...and now Messiah is going to "REWARD" them for being delinquent, greedy and stupid..Ha! I'd better change subjects --as I just ate lunch.

I don't want to complain today, because things are going well for us today and it looks like we may have some extra money after paying the bills, even before payday, on the 1st of the month. Just like in the Army, you have got to make that paycheck last for 30 days. I always "front load" my bill paying and knock out 90% of the 'primary target.' No matter who holds the purse strings in the marriage, the worst thing for me is to overdraft and come up short, in my humble opinion. I am trying to get some red meat and nutrition into my wife as she is planning for a serious open heart surgery soon, so I bought her some sirloin steaks this morning. The largest grocery store in Wisconsin is not far from us, Woodman's-- employee owned, on Highway 50 and I-94 in Kenosha County. I drive my pick up there and off load my speedy power scooter-- as my arthritic knees and back would be screaming at me if I had to walk. I got some great bargains there, as usual, to stock up for the "storm."
We try to do all the hard work and shopping in the morning-- so that when we are fatigued and sore, we can just sit down and enjoy TV, PC, Bible study or companionship.

May I confide in my 'inner core' of close friends...It's a fact that Vietnam Vets were 'afraid' to make friends in combat, lest it hurt too much if they got killed. We lost 3 and 13 wounded in the wee hours of the morning in one day out of my company-- first tour in Vietnam from a rocket attack. [I will never know if all those young men knew the Lord Jesus and were SAVED, at their moment of death... I certainly didn't know the Lord or was Saved while I was over there, but God loved and protected ME, IMHO.] Still, I have some very good comrades in arms to this day that I keep in touch with. The same fear is self evident now. Having ups and downs with marital challenges, my wife and I are finally getting along better with better communications and the Holy Spirit helping us. But now I worry about losing her in death and that would bring much sorrow to me. Since I been at the current church for the past 7 years, there have been many deaths. They/ we just get old and die, and I assume that most of them are in heaven now with no pain or sorrow. It's just a fact of life that encourages me to try harder not to judge others-- for we are all mortal humans.

I heard this tale from an anonymous source that he had seen a h
andwritten sign, posted over one of those "hot air hand dryers":
"Please push button and listen for a short message from our President of the U.S.."

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding; think about Him in all your ways, and He will guide you on the right paths.
Proverbs 3:5-6

A people that values its privileges above its principles soon loses both.” —Dwight D. Eisenhower

As former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher once said, “Socialism is a great idea, until you run out of other people’s money!” A simple reality gone missing, among intellectual types like the big -0.
