A little history most people will never know.
Interesting Veterans Statistics off the Vietnam Memorial
Wall
There are 58,267 names now listed on that polished black
wall, including those added in 2010.
The names are arranged in the order in
which they were taken from us by date and within each date
the names are alphabetized. It is hard to believe it is 36
years since the last casualties.
The first known casualty was Richard B. Fitzgibbon, of North
Weymouth , Mass. Listed by the U.S. Department of Defense as
having been killed on June 8, 1956. His name is listed on
the Wall with that of his son, Marine Corps Lance Cpl.
Richard B. Fitzgibbon III, who was killed on Sept. 7, 1965.
There are three sets
of fathers and sons on the Wall.
39,996 on the Wall were just 22 or younger.
8,283 were just 19 years old.
The largest age group, 33,103 were 18 years
old.
12 soldiers on the Wall were 17 years old.
5 soldiers on the Wall were 16 years old.
One soldier, PFC Dan Bullock was 15 years old.
997 soldiers were killed on their first day in Vietnam ...
1,448 soldiers were killed on their last day in Vietnam ...
31 sets of brothers are on the Wall.
Thirty one sets of parents lost two of their sons.
54 soldiers attended Thomas Edison High School in
Philadelphia . I wonder why so many from one school.
8 Women are on the Wall. Nursing the
wounded.
244 soldiers were awarded the Medal of Honor during the
Vietnam War; 153 of them are on the Wall.
Beallsville, Ohio with a population of 475 lost 6 of her
sons.
West Virginia had the highest casualty rate per capita in
the nation. There are 711 West Virginians on the Wall.
The Marines of Morenci - They led some of the scrappiest
high school football and basketball teams that the little
Arizona copper town of Morenci (pop. 5,058) had ever known
and cheered. They enjoyed roaring beer busts. In quieter
moments, they rode horses along the Coronado Trail, stalked
deer in the Apache National Forest. And in the patriotic
camaraderie typical of Morenci's mining families, the
nine graduates of Morenci High enlisted as a group in the
Marine Corps. Their service began on Independence Day, 1966.
Only 3 returned home.
The Buddies of Midvale - LeRoy Tafoya, Jimmy Martinez, Tom
Gonzales were all boyhood friends and lived on
three consecutive streets in Midvale, Utah on Fifth, Sixth
and Seventh avenues. They lived only a few yards apart. They
played ball at the adjacent sandlot ball field. And they all
went to Vietnam. In a span of 16 dark days in late 1967, all
three would be killed. LeRoy was killed on Wednesday, Nov.
22, the fourth anniversary of John F. Kennedy's
assassination. Jimmy died less than 24 hours later on
Thanksgiving Day. Tom was shot dead assaulting the enemy on
Dec. 7, Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.
The most casualty deaths for a single day was on January 31,
1968 ~ 245 deaths.
The most casualty deaths for a single month was May 1968 -
2,415 casualties were incurred.
For most Americans who read this they will only see the
numbers that the Vietnam War created. To those of us who
survived the war, and to the families of those who did not,
we see the faces, we feel the pain that these numbers
created. We are, until we too pass away,
haunted with these numbers, because they were our friends,
fathers, husbands, wives, sons and daughters. There are no
noble wars, just noble warriors.
Please pass this on to those who served during this time,
and those who DO Care.

Key Words: The Socialist Gov't of Amerika will go as far as we permit them, in taking away all that "We the People" worked for. Our Faith in God Almighty as told in the KJV Bible, our bought and paid for property, goods, arms, food, and freedom too !! I am sure that many cowardly people in the USA will just roll over and give up/ surrender to 'Big Brother' and the 'occupier of the WH' --- that illegal alien, without even a fight. Is an enslaved life so precious as to be a skinny beat up dog begging for scrapes from the master's table in D.C. ???
I am now over age 65, pained, hurting in health a bit, with CHF, etc., and my real home is in Heaven, as promised by my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I have been a serious student of the KJV Bible for many years, and that grand, INSPIRED Book has never failed me, as I have tested it so many times. My latest endeavor is to memorize can carve into wood [with a router] my fav. scriptures from the book of Psalms. They give me much comfort and strength in a polluted, violent Satanic world. Here is one that I like: "The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God." ~ Psalms 9:17.
We just got another 6 inches of fresh new snow last night in the U.P. of Michigan, the frozen tundra! I was just wishing that the temps could drift into the mid-60's so I could take out my new 650 Kaw dirt bike and see the mountain, etc. I think that it's a sure bet that we will see lots of freaky weather continue thru this so-called "Spring." Like violent tornadoes and earthquakes, radiation from Japan, and maybe a volcano in Yellowstone park! Too many honey bees have died off during our super harsh Winter this past year, meaning that our crops won't grow right, further shoving our food prices UP, UP AND AWAY! And the beat goes on.
And I'll wager that THIS Spring and Summer will bring too much excitement for all the weak hearts in the country. Since I too have CHF, I need to be careful too. And, again, that is why I am so fond of the Psalms -- for calming down my old heart.... as heart disease and stroke run in my family. I am not looking for longevity, folks. Death is not my enemy, but merely a door way to everlasting life, in one place, or another. And since I am Saved by the blood of Jesus Christ, I was promised a place in heaven, even as I am a no good, sinner on earth right now. But Jesus' blood and sacrifice has elevated me to be a 'Saint' in the eyes of God!!! I still don't feel comfortable with that title... lol. But that is what the KJV Bible says... and my pastor reminds me of that frequently.
I have been told and advised to not air my dirty laundry out in public, in this humble blog, and I have been trying to comply. So... for the record, everything in my life is just FINE, and I am 'happy as a bed bug' -- I guess. The warm sun in the Summer time is such a healing agent, and my dear 'friend!!' I mourn it's absence, big time....
I already feel like a fugitive in my own country, and somewhat afraid to express myself without worrying about 'Big Brother' monitoring my written word on this small, humble Blog. I suppose the day will come when I am out of money, like the rest of us hard working retired men, women, and Patriots. What an upside down world we live in now, and it all changed radically in the past 6 years!! It defies logic !! But we cannot, must not rely on our faulty human reasoning, dear friends, lest we lose sight of the big picture that the KJV Bible plainly shows us! That THESE THINGS MUST SURELY COME, before the Lord comes with the Rapture !!
Again: How will the masses of people in the world, willingly accept a ONE WORLD GOV'T, under the Anti-Christ, unless we are all starving and beat to heck by an evil wind --- Socialism, and an evil man named: "Oink" ? ? ? And yet, the majority of the world still clings to the stupid notion that somehow humankind will find a way to solve the serious, death dealing problems we now face ! Duh.... they say write and email all your Congressmen, and Senators....Ha! Tell me, when was the last time ANY Congressman lifted a finger to impeach or try to stop the 'occupant in the WH' or tried to help America in a meaningful way ??? Jesus Christ is the ONLY answer to our multiple problems, people !! Yes, I am a well prepared "Prepper"... but not so much a "Patriot", because this is really a 'WORLD PROBLEM' and not just an American problem. In fact our Christian brothers and sisters in foreign lands are being butchered as we speak! Israel is very close to war. The Russians and Chinese are prepping for world domination, and the Ruble just might be the next "Petro-Dollar" that will cave in our economy, all the sooner. So Prep for that, guys, because it sure looks like that is in the forecast.
But with all this doom and gloom, and I mean REAL SERIOUS STUFF that will happen, WE CHRISTIANS can still be happy and joyful, because things always get darkest right before the dawn. And Happy Resurrection Day, is on April 20th !!
