I had to look up a few new words used in The Daily Jot, this morning. The man is spot on, as usual, and I love to 'cut and paste' his articles onto my humble blog, often.
The weather outside my kitchen window is kind of freaky today... over cast skies but sometime a brilliant sun beam forcing it's way in, even warming me a bit, since I turned the temperature down last night. Ha! I ate 10 hot roasted, chili [peppers] with my delicious meal yesterday at the Mexican restaurant. I just can't get enough of that great Mexican, fresh veggies and 3 different kinds of meat, food ! But deep down in my heart I know that I must soon stop going there if I ever want to lose the weight. And it costs a lot of money $$$ to eat at that place at least 3 times a week. All I have is a small refrigerator in my rented big house, and it hurts physically, to stand on my feet for a long time, cooking on the stove, etc. Sometimes, good friends come over to help clean the house and cook great meals for me, and I so much appreciate their precious time and effort ! I will not mention names here today..... as some of my enemies would certainly try to exploit and use that info AGAINST me. What a sad commentary, that they cannot just leave me alone. Too, I really try to watch what I post on F/ B. But I plan on moving way South of this 'Frozen Tundra,' this Spring, and saving up for that right now. Please pray for me, that it will all be a success, and I get the help that I so need, to help me move from here.... and to there, I need to force myself to get back into my weight lifting, TODAY! ---- And I simply HATE moving ! ! It was a very nice week end that filled me with happiness, joy, and great fellowship.... PTL.
Actually, I am over loaded, and glutted with the constant dirty tricks campaigns / politics these days, but from time to time, it's so 'in my face' so that I must see/ read and hear about the politics of men in the USA.... B.S. And I / we certainly don't want to be ignorant as to what is going on with this corrupt election monkey business behind the scenes and in smoke filled back rooms. Although we cannot control what God has put in His Word [the Bible], we still need to be alert to all this wicked stuff and give the RIGHT person running for president a good, fair chance at trying to help the American people, and pick out the next few SCOTUS [Supreme Court] people that will shape the new America in a few years.... IF GOD LET'S THIS SYSTEM/ WORLD GO ON THAT LONG. In deed, we Christians must be committed to the task at hand, sharing the Gospel with as many people we can touch while we are on THIS SIDE of the Rapture. ... and also protecting/ saving our Freedoms that allow us to speak the truth, also worship our God the way we see fit.
Isn't it funny that when a person first receives the Lord Jesus Christ into his/ her heart [and then for ever], and the H.S. [Holy Spirit], that they see the world [of mankind] in a much different way. With different groups of people --- just like those in Jesus' day, about 1900 years ago, when Greek and Roman powers shaped the way people thought, lived, worshiped, etc. The "Stoics," Epicureans, etc. We have the same kind of people today !! Those who stuff themselves full of food, entertainment, strong drink, and all the pleasures of the flesh, every day! On the other hand, those who just go thru life and accept everything that comes down the pike, without emotion, 'stone faced,' and not taking an active part in voting, or in their own future, but letting others control them, as they float in the sewage as dead fish.
I will vote, and also offer my personal opinion via my blog posts and emails... yet, I am only a human, and cannot see into other's hearts... but only see their actions. It's not about judging people, but rather keen observation and then committing to an 'educated guess.' We will always have people like, "Slick Willy Clinton," who dazzled the population with his fancy wit and charm, and then later finding out that he had so many extra marital affairs on the side, and he would ALWAYS take a survey before making a critical decision, instead of listening to the wisdom of his top Military field commanders and Generals, in the KNOW. I was sorely disappointed with him and his wife. And no wonder G.W. Bush ripped out that Oval Office carpeting [and replaced it with a new one] -- shortly after he got into office.... LOL ! And now, On with the Show !
In the mean time, our worldly rat race continues with every day life of mostly scraping by just to exist. Making it all but impossible for just the husband going to work.... but now days the woman has to work too, leaving behind "latch lock kids" at home, alone, getting into drugs and mischief. I, personally, have the urge to pay off/ down the bills and CC debt, but also to put something aside and Invest in something good, safe, and proper! I just feel it in my bones that something big is going to happen, maybe in this year, 2016, or the next. I KNOW that many continue to 'laugh at me' and poke fun, calling me paranoid, and 'Chicken Little' -- that the sky is falling... but all real Christians know the Bible well enough to believe that Jesus has a number/ quota in mind, and a date to come back and take us away right before that 'terrible storm.' We hope and trust.
It would be nice to see a few new names of people who want to get this blog in their email box, automatically, when ever I post, and LEARN how to comment below, if you've a mind too. Thanks.
