UNBELIEVABLE: Police force Vietnam veterans to vacate Vietnam Veterans Memorial

The police came and forced both Vietnam veterans and the general public to leave the Vietnam Veterans Memorial after veterans went through the barricades:
WEEKLY STANDARD – After one group of veterans went around the barricade, “the park ranger told them the wall was closed,” NBC’s Mark Seagraves reported. “Later another group of vets showed up and moved the barricades. At that point, the memorial filled with vets and tourists. That’s when police came and moved everyone out.”
The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall is a black granite outdoor wall on which the names of the 58,272 service members who died or were unaccounted for during the Vietnam war are inscribed.
It takes more manpower and costs the government more money to close down an outdoor wall than to let people walk past it and pay their respects.
The Obama administration has been very selective in devoting resources to shutting down memorials.
Watch:

Here’s a tweet from Steve King on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial this morning, saying it is indeed open and the guard dogs are only for intimidation. GUARD DOGS?

No!   Government is NOT God, and every person on earth IS essential !!

Ahhhh, that makes me feel GOOD inside!   And if more people only knew and believed  this well known Christian Truth, we would all get along much better.   But, like an old cartoon pictured  'Teach a Democrat how to fish, and you've just made a Republican.'   Now days, I swear that there is not any difference between the two parties.   Period.   How many RINIO's have been persuaded to vote for some form of abortion, or Gay 'rights ??'   If I take any label I might be called a Christian Conservative, or just Independent now days, but I try to side step politics because Christ is our real Lord and Master  --- and soon to take his throne on Earth too, and rule from Jerusalem for 1000 years !    This not a fairy tale, young folks, it's God's Word, found in Revelation 24: 4, etc.   [I had to look it  up to make sure I gave the correct chapter and verse... smile].   And Satan and his bad angels were also tossed into that great deep chasm for 1000 to suffer, while the New Earth is filled with good people who must learn the new rules and regs of God's New Order  --- and grow to perfection in a Paradise, just as was the Father's first wish and directive, back in early Genesis .... only [Adam and Eve] and the rest of mankind  save their worship for HIM, the Father  alone.   Not too much has changed except that we have come full circle now awaiting a NEW Earth and New Heavens...   but the polluted 2 places need to be torn down and cleaned up before we can call them a real Paradise, right?  That cleansing will also 'take out the many rats and other vermin, cockroaches' who refuse to work even if they are ABLE, instead of living off the hard work and taxes of the "Other Half of Society !!"   I paid a lot of heavy taxes all my life starting at age 18, until I became disabled in many ways, unable to work anymore and blessed to be able to walk to the bathroom to do my duty and keep clean.   PTL!

God knows that man is fully capable of blowing the Earth up right now-- but He will NOT ALLOW THAT TO HAPPEN, in a total, major way!!   There may be some limited nukes, but  God is saving the grand finale for himself....  just read the simple Book written on a 5th grade reading level, friends.   Remember, folks,  all  you need is the Holy Spirit to understand the Bible.

You know,  the constant drilling and mind bending BS on TV, movies and radio, 'brain-washing' of the American and other countries societies, have truly muddied the water, so that we have lost our manhood, mushed up our brains and dumbed us down  ---  must be cleaned up and awakened before it is too late -- if we are to strong Soldiers for the Lord and do His will !!   Or are we willing to just put in our hours at work and then get stupid will booze and beer after work and just hit the hay, after watching some lame movie, or sit-com  on Liberal TV??  Have we become so dead, jaded, sorted and numbed like the ancient Romans who also got fat and lazy, only to be conquered by the 'new kid on the block ?'   Goths, Visigoths, Franks, Germans, North Africans ?   Hey, friends,  our so-called, "Golden Age" is gone, and a normal one lasts only 200 years,  and we are so under DEBT that we can never get free even if we WANTED TO !!    Obama's remedy is to jack UP the Debt Limit...ceiling -- LOL.   Even if Japan, alone,  went down -- they would pull the rest of the world down with us;  And the super, doper grand masters who really run the show-- huge bankers behind the scenes, and secret manipulators--Puppeteers,  are angry with Obama, because they DON'T want him to destroy America ---  just pull it's fangs and claws, and keep working to show them a profit... a fat profit, while Obama  does in exile to a  kept paradise in some Islamic land...  won't 'Mooshell' enjoy the heck out of that with her new way to dress  like the rest of the  Muslim ladies...  LOL...   smile.  Burqa? [sp?]

But people will do anything and everything to NOT read the Bible and find out what the future brings!   They would rather believe in something else, like "Kingdom Now" preaching, or New Age baloney, or Mormonism, and please forget the JW's!   They world still wants to think that they can have their cake and eat it too....  live forever world where scientists can prolong life by mutating the human body or use machines, etc.   Hey,  this is not some Buck Rogers movie, guys.  People love to pick up the Bible on their death bed, when they COULD HAVE worked, served and worshiped the Lord for many years and taught their children right at the same  time.

Time to brush my teeth, and most of them are mine....   but a few years back the Milwaukee VA  ---  Veterans Administration  Medical Center [VAMC] convinced me to have many of my  GOOD teeth pulled out for a partial bridge that DIDN'T WORK, so now I have to suffer for their short sightedness, mistakes.   And they slammed me for even voicing my humble opinion.... ah!   Rejoice!!     When I yelled  at  them for butchering my right knee replacement 3 years ago,  I became very "unpopular" at that facility, so I then moved to North Chicago, where I got better care, after we worked out most of the screw ups and flaws..., but now I am U.P. in Iron Mountain, M

Being non-essential

The federal government shut down has raised a lot of eyebrows. It has exposed a lot about our government, how big it has gotten, how interwoven it is into the fabric of American enterprise and society. It was never supposed to get that way. The Founding Fathers envisioned a limited government where the people would have freedom to create opportunities, business and commerce, a better way for themselves, or not, if they chose not to. We see now that a government shut down has caused a ripple effect throughout the nation. We have to wonder, if there are millions on non-essential personnel sitting at home, why? What does this tell us about our nation, and what opportunity does it present?

Government is not God. Yet to millions, it is their provider; their care giver; their facilitator of life. This is the trap. And it has been sprung on way too many Americans. There are too many of us who are far too dependent on the government. We need to wean away. And what better time than now? Think about it. All these people at home because they are non essential. I would wager if I were a wagering man that these folks could provide better service to the government as part of their own company doing the very same thing for the government. I bet they could do it more efficiently, less expensively, more creatively, and also be happier while they were doing it.

If I were a "non essential" sitting at home, I would probably call my co-workers together for a meeting. I would tell them that we could start a company and provide the very same kind of services to the government and to others who wanted them. Let's get rid of the people who don't do any work in our area and start our own business. I bet they could work harder, faster and make more money than what the government is paying them because they know their jobs and how to do them, there is just no incentive at the government for such efficiency. Its a thought. If I were non essential, I would surely be wondering about my future.

There is a deeper message. To this Congress and White House, we are all "non-essential." They don't care. They don't want to hear our concerns. They do what they want to do. We the People are a means to their selfish ends. We are essential for one day a year--April 15--when we are forced to show up with the cash. Otherwise, we are as non-essential as any government worker sitting at home today because politicians are blaming each other for everybody sitting at home. This is another reason government isn't God. In God's eyes, everyone is essential. Remember what Jesus told us in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that who so ever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." No, government is not God, and you ARE essential.

Don't Panic...

'Above Average' Joe
"I’m losing control....."

"I must be having a heart attack....."
"I’m choking and I can’t catch my breath....."
"It came upon me by surprise. I  heard my heart pounding so loudly that I thought it burst  out of my chest like in that movie ALIENS..."
"I began shaking like a junkie in withdrawal..."
If you've ever felt like this, you're not alone.

You Are A Target Of Opportunity...

Or being a target of opportunity...
But being unarmed, shouldn't mean defenseless..

The statements above are the some of the most common symptoms of a panic attack.
Panic and anxiety attacks affect over 4,000,000 people in the U.S. alone (That's 5% of the total adult population!).
Many people who experience their first panic attack find themselves at hospital emergency rooms......or at doctors’ offices -- prepared to hear the worst.
And unfortunately, hearing that they are "fine,"  can actually makes things worse...
When they don’t hear that they’ve suffered a life-threatening situation (such as a heart attack), this news may actually cause an increase in their anxiety, making them prone to more panic attacks.
Panic attacks and anxiety disorders have an abundance of symptoms that vary from person to person and that makes it so much harder for your doctor to pinpoint.
Because the symptoms of panic are very real, the anxiety is so traumatizing, and the whole experience is new and strange, a panic attack is one of the worst experiences a person can have.
On top of the attack, there is always the nagging fear, "When will this happen to me again?"
So what is a panic attack?
Panic attacks are periods of intense fear or apprehension that are of sudden onset and of variable duration from minutes to hours. Panic attacks usually begin abruptly, may reach a peak within 10 minutes, but may continue for much longer if the sufferer had the attack triggered by a situation from which they are not able to escape.
In panic attacks that continue unabated, and are triggered by a situation from which the sufferer desires to escape, some sufferers may make frantic efforts to escape, which may be violent if others attempt to contain the sufferer. Some panic attacks can subside on their own over the next several hours.
What causes a panic attack?
Panic is not necessarily brought on by any one recognizable circumstance, and can stem from a single event or a culmination of multiple triggers . That is why panic attacks are so hard to pinpoint and often times the attacks just come "out of the blue."
In essence, a panic attack can occur to anyone at any time, though some are more prone to it than others...

The Coming Kingdom [Part 19]

Tom's Journal. http://tomschuckmanjournal.blogspot.com/

tschuckman@aol.com

Friends,
Here is a long STUDY time moment, only for those folks --Spirit anointed, and serious minded.   'For the wisdom of the world is foolishness with God'  --Apostle Paul.
A few friends, including my wife have admonished me to NOT believe everything I see and read on the InterNet --- and I DON'T !!   And scripture tells us that, 'Satan is misleading the entire  inhabited  world.'    Satan has beat me up several times, free moral agent that I am....  yet Saved by the Holy Spirit.  And, YES, real Christians do suffer, and under demonic attack....   because scripture says that Satan already has most of the world under his thumb, but WE Christians are his "high value Targets!"

Sorry for injecting Military jargon into  my posts so much,  but it's just a hard wired part of my logical brain box, and seems to be the only way of clear, concise speech, me-thinks.

And bright bible scholars say that, even though [hopefully] WE Christians may be 'splintered' with various opinions, about the Pre, Middle, or Post- Trib comings of the Lord, all must be Saved and have the Holy Spirit to set them straight, eventually, and gain heaven.   We cannot, and must not hate each other  -- because that if for the misled world out there.   Just be advised, on guard, and very alert, dear friends.  Keep your safety belt ON,  because we ought to know that 'SOMETHING BIG' IS COMING TO SHAKE US UP big time ! ! !   Don't freak out and do something foolish  --against the Bible's warnings.    Something that never happened before that will scare us.     However, methinks that in early September of 2013, we sure did have some really freaky weather all over the world !!   It could be Natural, or man-made.

Saturday morning is when Terri goes out to the Farmer's Market, and then to various rummage sales, garage sales, etc. for cheap money  $$$  and good deals.  It's time for her to spread her wings and fly a while.

Warm Regards,

The Coming Kingdom (Part 19)

Andy WoodsBy Dr. Andy Woods Sugar Land Bible Church

Facebook Contact
Because today's evangelical world believes that the church is experiencing the Messianic kingdom, we began a study chronicling what the Bible teaches about the kingdom. In this series, the biblical teaching on the kingdom has been surveyed from Genesis to Revelation. This earthly kingdom is anticipated in the office of Theocratic Administrator that was lost in Eden, in the biblical covenants, in the predictions of the Old Testament prophets, and in the earthly theocracy governing Israel from the time of Moses to Zedekiah. This theocratic arrangement terminated with the initiation of the "Times of the Gentiles" when the nation had no king reigning on David’s Throne as Judah was trampled by various Gentile powers. Against that backdrop entered Jesus Christ, the rightful Heir to David's Throne. Had first-century Israel enthroned Christ, the earthly kingdom would have become a reality. Despite this unprecedented opportunity, Israel rejected the kingdom offer leading to the kingdom's postponement.
Due to this postponement, Christ explained the spiritual conditions that would prevail during the kingdom's absence. This interim program includes His revelation of the kingdom mysteries and the church. Because neither represents the fulfillment of God's Old Testament kingdom promises, the kingdom will remain in a state of abeyance as long as God's present work in the world continues through His interim program. However, one day the church's mission on the earth will be completed resulting in the church's removal from the earth through the rapture. Then God, who is not forgetful of His prior unconditional covenants with Israel, will re-extend the offer of the kingdom to national Israel in the midst of the coming Great Tribulation. Unlike at the First Advent, this time the offer will be accepted leading to Christ's return and subsequent earthly kingdom. Revelation explains how the world will eventually transition from the rule that Satan has had over the world ever since the Fall in Eden to the future time in history when God and His people "will reign upon the earth" (Rev. 5:10b; 11:15b). The Apocalypse furnishes the important detail of the Messianic kingdom's duration, namely one-thousand years (Rev. 20:1-10). God's kingdom program will extend beyond Christ's one-thousand year earthly reign as it transitions into the Eternal State (Rev. 21-22).
We further noted that those closest to the biblical text, the early church fathers, also held to premillennialism or the reality of the coming, earthly kingdom of Christ. We also observed that the problem with using New Testament verses in an attempt to argue that the Messianic kingdom now exists in spiritual form is to interpret the New Testament in a manner that contradicts the Old Testament.
In addition, we began scrutinizing a series of texts that "kingdom now" theologians routinely employ in order to argue that the kingdom is a present spiritual reality. We began with the use of such alleged "kingdom now" texts in the life of Christ. We noted that the expression "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand" merely communicates that the Old Testament expectation of an earthly kingdom had drawn near in the person of Christ. Had the nation enthroned Christ (Deut. 17:15), what the Old Testament predicted concerning an earthly kingdom would have become a reality not only for Israel but also for the entire world. As long as Christ was present amongst first-century Israel offering them the kingdom, it was in an imminent state of nearness. This reality is an entirely different matter from saying that the kingdom was present or had arrived.
We also observed that Matthew 6:9-13 is in actuality a model prayer for the disciples consisting of three requests for the kingdom to come and three additional requests for their temporal needs to be met prior to the kingdom's establishment. Such a framework makes it obvious that the Lord did not establish the kingdom at His First Advent.
Kingdom Resistance and Violence

Kingdom Resistance and Violence

Another pair of parallel texts that "kingdom now" theologians use is Matthew 11:12 and Luke 16:16. These verses speak of the kingdom being resisted and suffering violence during the days of John the Baptist and Christ. Matthew 11:12 says, "From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and violent men take it by force." Blaising, an advocate of inaugurated eschatology, [1] contends that the kingdom had to be present in order for it to be resisted so strenuously. [2] But is it possible for the kingdom to suffer violence without being present? An answer can be found in the parallel passage (Luke 16:16), which says, "The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John; since that time the gospel of the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is forcing his way into it." Here, the emphasis is on the proclamation of the kingdom. Thus, what is actually being rejected is the proclamation of the kingdom or the message of the kingdom rather than any present manifestation of the kingdom. This interpretation finds support in the verses following Matthew 11:12 where Christ equates the hardness of His generation to His message to children not pleased with the asceticism of John nor the ministry of Christ (Matt. 11:16-19). [3]

The Kingdom of God Has Come Upon You

Another statement made by Christ that is utilized by "kingdom now" theologians is found in Matthew 12:28, which says, “But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you” (see also Luke 11:20). "Kingdom now" theologians interpret this statement to mean that Christ began a spiritual form of the Messianic kingdom at His First Advent. However, this view fails to interact with Christ’s “offer of the kingdom” to first-century Israel. [4] This is the idea that the kingdom was offered to the nation by John the Baptist, Christ, and the disciples, was rejected by the nation, postponed, and eventually will be re-offered to the nation during the future Tribulation period. This interpretive framework allows the various manifestations of the kingdom in the life of Christ (Matt. 12:28), such as His miracles, the exorcising of demons, and His Transfiguration (Matt. 17:1-8) to be interpreted as mere tokens of the coming kingdom rather than announcing an inaugurated form of the kingdom. In other words, the presence of the kingdom in the life of Christ could become a reality for Israel and the world had Israel fulfilled her responsibility of enthroning her king (Deut. 17:15). Unfortunately this offer of the kingdom approach is totally by-passed by "kingdom now" theologians. Instead of seeing an offer in the kingdom preaching of John the Baptist and Jesus, they instead interpret Matthew 12:28 as the "breaking in" of the kingdom "in minuscule" and "spiritual form.”
Yet, Toussaint provides eight reasons why the "offer of the kingdom" should not be so easily dismissed since it rests upon firm exegetical footing. It is found not only in Matthew’s Gospel but also Luke’s Gospel. [5] First, the idea of the contingency of a benefit depending upon whether the offeree is willing to accept the terms of the offer is well established in the Old Testament (1 Kgs. 11:38; Jer. 18:7-10). Second, Israel’s covenantal structure required repentance before the kingdom could be established (Lev. 26; Deut. 28). Third, the message of the kingdom’s nearness was confined to national Israel. Matthew 10:5-7 says, “These twelve Jesus sent out after instructing them, saying, ‘Do not go in the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter any city of the Samaritans; but rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’” Fourth, the contingency of the offer is seen in statements of Christ, such as, “And if you care to accept it, he himself is Elijah, who was to come” (Matt. 11:14). Of this statement, Toussaint remarks, “There is scarce a passage in Scripture which shows more clearly that the kingdom was being offered to Israel at this time. Its coming was contingent upon one thing: Israel receiving it by genuine repentance.” [6]
Fifth, there is a cessation of the announcement of the kingdom after Israel rejects her Messiah (Matt. 12; Luke 11). Sixth, the Lord pronounces judgment upon that generation (Matt. 23:36-39) for failing to recognize the hour of their visitation (Luke 19:42, 44; Dan. 9:26). In other words, they were judged because they failed to accept the offer. Seventh, the parables of rejection depict the postponement of the kingdom. While earlier in Luke’s gospel the kingdom is portrayed as being near (Luke 10:9, 11), the parable of the minas was told in order to dissuade the disciples’ expectation of the kingdom’s nearness (Luke 19:11). The parable teaches that the kingdom program would be postponed for a long duration and the disciples had obligations to fulfill in the interim (Luke 19:11-27). Eighth, the message of the kingdom’s imminence does not reappear until the context pertains to the Seventieth Week of Daniel or the future Tribulation period (Matt. 24:14; Luke 21:31). In sum, when understood in the light of this kingdom offer, Christ's statement in Matthew 12:28 was not indicative of the fact the kingdom had arrived. Rather, His statement simply meant that the tokens of the kingdom (His miracles, exorcisms, etc...) could have become a reality for the nation of Israel had she responded to the contingency of the offer that Christ was extending to her.
(To Be Continued...)
Endnotes
[1] While still holding to some form of a future earthly reign of Christ, inaugurated eschatology advocates maintain that the kingdom is still a present spiritual reality with Christ presently orchestrating it from David's Throne in heaven.
