Hello Friends,
I heard it said many years ago that a person 'has to have a fire in his belly... or get passionate about SOMETHING in his life.' I just happen to be a man with many hobbies, adventures, and favorite skills/ talents. I am not on some unrealistic quest to just see how many 'buckets lists' I need to fill before I die. But preparing to get to heaven [and not hell] seems to be a worthy cause. So if I deem this pursuit worthy of my time and hard effort... I hate to be made a fool of, tricked, lied to, about the One, True, Faith, as put forward by the KJV Bible ! That goes for preachers, "pastors" organizations, cheats and those who try to get rich from thumping the Bible, etc. That also goes for politicians!
What really peaked my interest today was the article directly below in this page by Hal Lindsey concerning a deep subject: Revelation.
I realize that some young children can accurately explain that Book but we all need the Holy Spirit before we begin. So just pray to God to send the Holy Spirit to us, individually right before we begin. Still, sometimes guys like me need to read and RE-READ the material more than once before I know it well enough to teach and write about. Because this is one subject that I don't want to just "wing." Also learn to use special "tools" like: e-sword
I would first read the chapters and verses, and then do more side references and research, then read it again. And then, "put the meat back on the bone," by reading the surrounding chapters and flesh it all out.
This was one of those days when I called many friends in different States, but nobody answered.
Sincerely,
Tom Schuckman

I often hear people say, "Revelation seems like a jumble of events. Why wasn't it written in the order it will happen?" On this week's Hal Lindsey Presents, I will give you the key to unlocking the chronology of Revelation.
John wrote in the most universal language of the day - Greek. But he wrote as a Hebrew. Today, we're used to reading straight, chronological stories. If there is a flashback, or a look forward, it is clearly identified as such. But Jewish writers and readers understood that there would be things out of chronological order.
Revelation gives a chronology of coming events. But interspersed within that chronology, we find vignettes. On this week's Hal Lindsey Presents, I'll show you how we know this and how it works.
Under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and in typical Hebrew fashion, John used these vignettes to explain main characters, main purposes, and main organizations. Sometimes the vignettes reach all the way back to the beginning of Israel. At other times, they tell the quick version of a story that takes place during the whole Tribulation period. For instance, Revelation 13 gives a prophetic biography of the Antichrist and False Prophet.
On this week's program, I'll show you which chapters are chronological and which ones contain vignettes.
Also this week, I will continue to show why Jesus was the only one worthy to open the seals of the great scroll. John 5:26-27 says, "For just as the Father has life in Himself, even so He gave to the Son also to have life in Himself; and He gave Him authority to execute judgment, because He is the Son of Man."
What does it mean that the Father gave Jesus authority to execute judgment "because" He is the Son of Man? It is of primary importance that Jesus was and is, both God and man. He had to be God because He had to measure up to the standard of God's righteousness - Himself. But He also had to be a man. It requires a man to open the seals and judge the world - a perfect man who willingly died for the sins of the world. A man had to take back the title deed to planet earth because earth was given to humanity... and a man (Adam) gave it away. 1 Corinthians 15 calls Jesus the "last Adam."
I'll explain it in more detail on this week's Hal Lindsey Presents. It's a fascinating study. More than that, it is an essential study for understanding the glorious nature of our salvation in Christ. It's the kind of study that will give extra layers of meaning to Christmas, to church attendance, to prayer, and to every other aspect of the Christian life.
