Well, here it is for all to see and learn, from a respected, learned, Bible scholar and gentleman: 'If you don't have a "sword" in the house use what ever means you deem fit to BUY one !!' The Gov't and Cops won't help you, because look what happened in Katrina, and then multiple that by 1000. And with a possible EMP attack, all of your communications will be DOWN and out for the count. And just figure, when the next riot rocks your part of town and there are no police to aid you, what will you do then -- throw spit balls, or beg the pigs not to abuse your wife and kids ?? But let's be balanced --- come let us reason. We don't need the latest technology and weapons to feel safe and ready, but there are plenty of fire arms experts on the Net and on U-tube, that will gladly help you make the right choices when investing your money $$$. Or talk to a Combat Veteran. And remember, when you pick out a GOOD, dependable, firearm, it will usually keep it's resale value if you ever really want or need to sell it. Just type some subject into the computer 'dialogue box' and hit 'enter.' Like: what is the correct firearm and ammunition for a city dweller, or apartment person, or farm person. A good dog, like our Rottweiler seems to LOVE women and children, and is a good watch dog, but you need to train them properly and take care of it $$$. Some folks love shotguns and pistols --- but they are no match for the semi-automatic "long guns" like the AR-15, etc. Don't forget that there is also safety in numbers, but you really have to know someone very well before you can trust them. And are they content to just piss their money away on smokes, strong drink, drugs and fancy vacations, and then want to move in with YOU ?? So, when ever, or what ever you invest in --- please do a good amount of research FIRST. Besides that, you cannot drink guns and ammo. Store water too.
But most important, are we ready to die to protect our hearth, home and more importantly, our beloved family ? Don't you want to know what the Bible says about death, dying, and the after life ? Do you really know God's plan for us, and the real purpose we are here on earth? God has a special, nice, place for those who surrender their lives and hearts to His Only begotten Son, Jesus Christ--- so death in serving the Lord is not the end of everything, but the BEGINNING. So that is our REAL Life Insurance, being a bible trained, educated Christian, and trying our best to help and protect other real Christians. Besides, just hanging out in some church don't make you a Christian, anymore holding a gun makes you a hunter. That is even MORE IMPORTANT than buying and learning how to use a firearm !! Time, again, to get with that program, folks.
Choosing Your First Concealed Carry Handgun & Holster In 2015 (The Short Version)
Recently I had a close family member ask me advice about guns and holster types.
It made me realize that some things I take for granted, because I've read so much and trained so much, are not immediately obvious to the casual gun owner or new gun owner.
The fact is: most advice that's in gun magazines or even on the internet (with a few exceptions) is trash.
Many gun articles are written by writers with little actual training experience or even very little concealed carry experience.
Others are written by people that at one time were experts, but haven't updated their knowledge base in years, or continued to adapt to proven improvements in basic TTP's.
So let's talk about the basics today, what I call the 80/20 version (based off Pareto's principle of the 20% of knowledge that will get you 80% of the results you want) ...

Only you can protect your life
No terrorism here. Look the other way. But we do have to ban guns--That's essentially the response of the White House to the mass murders by two devout Muslims in San Bernardino Wednesday. The NY Daily News reports: "As California county workers mingled Wednesday morning at a holiday banquet...The merciless masked killers, in matching military garb and body armor, executed 14 helpless victims and wounded 17 more at the Inland Regional Center in a lightning strike sparked by either a simple dispute--or terrorism, authorities said...Syed Rizwan Farook, 28, and Tashfeen Malik, 27,- were gunned down four hours later and 2 miles away..." This is the future because of the foolishness of our leaders.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations in a news release said, "We condemn this horrific and revolting attack and offer our heartfelt condolences to the families and loved ones of all those killed or injured...The Muslim community stands shoulder to shoulder with our fellow Americans in repudiating any twisted mindset that would claim to justify such sickening acts of violence." A family member of one of the shooters expressed shock at a CAIR news conference. The twisted mindset, however, emanates from the Koran, which repeatedly instructs followers of Islam to kill infidels. While it is a nice gesture for CAIR to issue such statements of condemnation, it is scant window-dressing and propaganda.
Islamic State (IS) activists were less diplomatic. Vocativ web analysts found IS posts on web forums where Islamists frequently share information, reporting, "ISIS extremists began celebrating the mass shooting in San Bernardino hours after the massacre, creating the hashtag #America_Burning...The Islamic State, however, did not take credit for the shootings in the ghoulish postings..." Postings included: "Three lions made us proud. They are still alive,"..."California streets are full with soldiers with heavy weapons. The Unites States is burning #America_Burning #Takbir"..."God is great and he the one to be praised for that,...This is hell with god's will..."May god spread fear in the homes of the Crusaders.""
There is a pattern when Muslims do their dirty deeds--Islamists attack innocents in areas where there are no guns allowed; the "president" ignores Islamic involvement and targets gun owners; CAIR comes out and denounces it; Muslim family members express shock that their devout son or daughter would do such a thing; and the political correct cycle goes into full swing. Make no mistake: Only you can protect your own life. As Jesus told his disciples in Luke 22:36 before his betrayal in Gethsemane, "...and he that has no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one." He wasn't instructing murders, but rather self defense. More of these attacks are going to happen. Many innocents will die. The government cannot protect you, neither can police. You must take measures to protect yourself and your family, and be able to do so.
