I always feel so much better after I've had a delicious cheeseburger with fried onions and a fresh slice of tomato at the 'Thirsty Whale,' in Norway, MI ! ! It makes a man feel very blessed in a small town, USA, and indeed, I know that I am blessed ! Thank You, Lord.
Hello Friends, and Fellow 'Corn Muffins !'
I wish I had some hot, buttered, Corn Muffins, right now, to 'feed the Beast' in my hungry stomach.... LOL ! I also bought some Cup Cake baking tins to try out some of my posted baking directions from yesterday. I will also reward anyone who is generous enough to drop over to my humble hovel, who shows me how to bake those corn muffins ! All of my friends know that I am 'too generous' of a man, and know how to show my thanks.... to a fault.
Now, I would hate and cringe at any person calling me a 'fear monger,' a war monger, or 'Chicken Little !' But I have always been a 'Prepper' of sorts, and I hate to have to jump up to run to the store every time I am out of mustard, etc. !! I am certainly NOT rich and don't have all that much.... except lots of bills.... LOL. I purely ENJOY all my simple 'creature comforts' in my old, advanced age, of 67 ! I have always had the theory since high school, to work hard and fast in the beginning, so I could "coast" if something happened mid-season in school, if you get my drift, guys and gals. And I suppose that much of my saving some money for a rainy day, etc., comes from my parents. I remember my good old Army days, when we were paid once a month --- not to spend all of our money the next day, because it would be a long month to go without any money. I learned how to "pace myself" and allow myself to spend only part of my money.... AFTER ALL THE BILLS WERE PAID AND THE GAS TANK of my truck and motorcycle WAS FULL OF GASOLINE ! And I always would give some of my money to my wife or mate/ traveling companion, when going on a trip, just in case I lost my own wallet or ran out of money. I am a great believer in carrying a "2nd parachute" and having a few, "safety nets $$$." I believe in having some good, close, trustworthy friends whom I can count on when the 'storm comes,' and I also take care of my friends, too. Trust is very important to me. Don't forget the scripture, Romans 8: 23, "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?"
And Psalm 130: 3, "If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?"
And also, Proverbs 3: 5, "Trust in the LORD, with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding."
And I can now understand why other men and women stay in sour relationships... because they are lonely, very poor, and desperate. And too many times, husbands and wives try to 'out do' each other on... how hard and mean they can dish out hurtful speech, actions and cruel behavior, and sleep on the couch for months on end, so as to deprive the other mate any love or comfort.... what hateful actions! And how other dissatisfied, hateful, female friends actually coach a man's wife on how to best HURT him! Harsh, tense, family fights make the kids' stomachs hurt with real pain. All I can say is, wait until your own kids reach that 'magic age of 13' --- when all the best, well thought out strategies fail, and the kids can lean any ways, with all the horrible worldly, and demon assisted, machinations of the 'Dark Side.' Yes, the devil is so busy, because he knows that his time on earth is short !! Bad and worse things WILL HAPPEN, and no human can stop what is already been unleashed by Satan and his many demons..... who are actually WORSHIPED IN THE MONTH OF OCTOBER !!! The stores and Media/ Entertainment are full of it right now in the USA ! Frankly, it all makes me sick to my stomach, dear friends and readers ! And just imagine what HELL is like ! There will be NO party with the devil. On the other hand, if you are now too hot or too cold, HEAVEN will be just PERFECT in every sense of the term.
That is why I count all suffering now as temporary, or time in prison, compared to all eternity in Heaven. Earth USED TO BE great, wonderful Paradise, even if you had to work hard to survive, until mankind ruined it with innocent blood spilled onto the soil --- even from the days of Cain and Abel, when the blood called up to God, Almighty. God can tolerate only so much, before He 'trips the trigger' and is forced to "remove the evil" that threatens His good followers and servants on earth to near extinction ! Why would any creature want to invite or be 'visited' with God's Wrath ? ?
Ponder on these things today, on Columbus Day, USA.
