I am blessed too, to have another friend who lives near me in Iron Mtn, MI., who works 2nd shift at a Foundry in town-- so he can come over to my house and chew the fat, study, and help me go shopping at the grocery store -- sometimes go out for breakfast or lunch, and his name is: Sam D. Thank you, Sam !! We were talking today how to communicate and understand our wives today, as we shared some scriptures, etc. The point was made that, 'No matter what the other mate says or does.... he/ she is still totally accountable for their personal sins and mess ups before God. Period. I know and say often, 'THAT I KNOW AND LOVE MY WIFE, TERRI TO PIECES.' That said, I am still very imperfect and sin every day of my life, but keep getting up off the floor when I fall, and pray my head off to learn and DO the right thing with my mate. Who doesn't know that the devil prob throws legions of demons at we Christians to break up our sacred marriages!! ?? It is a real struggle for most couples to get along and agree all the time! And, of course, I will NEVER BE PERFECT --THIS SIDE OF HEAVEN! Hello! If a man is in the dog house -- he wants to get out and live in peace and harmony -- so why would the mate prolong or torture the man any longer than a few minutes?
Did I mention that I am now reading the fine book: WAR OF WORDS... by Paul David Tripp ? It's all about COMMUNICATION, between a man and wife. Another close friend from church, Tom Harrison, gave the book to me. Thanks, Tom !! We are blessed at church to have a good number of Veterans in our ranks, so there is much in common and lots of jokes, etc., and fine camaraderie! PTL ! My wife admonished me this morning via email to 'make sure that I make the meeting tonight for, "Overcomers Unanimous" -- those of us who feel the need to over come something in our life to better our selves and draw closer to Jesus Christ. Like, booze, smoking, swearing, chew tobacco, anger management, marital strife, over eating, etc. I missed a few meetings due to [what ever] and Terri says that she notice's something different in me --- so "GET YOUR BUNS TO THE MEETING !!!!" Ha!
My challenge is my laziness and lack of better mobility --being disabled, trouble in walking too far, pain and discomfort. But once I am there and sitting down, I am fine. Just getting somewhere is half of the challenge, and we have icy roads this time of year... etc.
Question: Does anyone else besides me understand that our National Debt is going to someday soon bite us in the neck??? Duh... I am the one who keeps track of my check book and pays most of the bills in our cozy family of two adults and one great Rottweiler hound dog-- and I understand simple Math. I am also educated and have a strong back ground in Finance/ Investments, Mutual Funds, and was "Securities Licensed." So I know what the heck I am talking about. Our Nation is financially 'hanging by a thread!!' Something really BAD could [and will] happen that will hurt us! We cannot trust Congress nor the WH goofs, and both political parties are guilty of 'pork barrel spending!' Any Comment, Readers?? tschuckman@aol.com

"Hi. I just finished reading your Moments newsletters. They are a big help to me. I am so glad you are doing a balanced message on the roles of Ahab and Jezebel. It is so important to understand the role of both male and female in the family and in the body today. A lot of women are victim of there circumstances. I know that God has a divine order for His Church and if we would all take our place in the divine government of God and get on the same page with His Word, great things would begin to happen as a church. This is going to take a dying to what we have been taught and laying down the titles and be the women and men that God has ordained for His Church to function in. It is not about the titles but rather about Jesus and the new kingdom life. I am so glad that I got the CD package of messages on Women Professing Godliness. They freed me in a lot of areas as a woman! Pride has to go. That was one of the first things God dealt with in me on and dying to self because it is necessary to fulfill our God-given roles. My personal desire is to have a supply of these books to give away. It has quite an impact to be able to discuss Jesus Christ and His eternal Gospel with a precious soul and then leave them with a book. Thank you for sharing of what our LORD is blessing you with. The amount of help we receive determines the level of fruitfulness for God's glory in this late hour. "We (as His body) are labourers together with God." (1 Corinthians 3:9) By supporting this work, you are keeping a full-time Gospel servant busy around the clock serving our LORD Jesus by building up His saints by feeding them His Word, evangelizing the lost, and creating and distributing media that is making a large impact on many. Monday alone I was blessed to work for 14 hours wihtout interruption, feeding Jesus' sheep and was not even tired! I don't have any inspiration or time to waste attempting to gimmick people into helping. Don't know what else to say other than the fruitfulness is exponential as by the grace of our God (1 Corinthians 15:10). Tens of thousands of precious souls are being fed God's Word from this ministry monthly. The ministry is in need of 750.00 for a new computer which, as far as physical tools, is the main equipment utilized. No money wasted! We are blessed to get the most heavenly treasure for the investment into the LORD's Jesus' Gospel work! ….. There are other needs and God sure is able! This month, we are also about 500.00 away from paying the basic bills. Jesus is our Provider!
