Too many toxins and pesticides in our Veggies and Fruit.

Besides the other side of the world is up and working now. I didn't realize how huge a problem we had with all those sprayed on toxins and pesticides, and don't we have enough challenges to worry about now? Washing your fruits and vegetables remains one of the best ways to protect yourself and your family from illnesses and chemical contamination. Here are a number of ways in which you can effectively wash and handle your fruits and vegetables: Washing your fruits and vegetables Use a mixture consisting of water and distilled white vinegar. You should add 10% vinegar to 90% water. With this mixture you can remove even 97- 98% of the pesticides. Spray the fruits and vegetables with one of these solutions or let them soak for 10 to 20 minutes. If you consider that your fruits and vegetables have very high percentage of pesticides, try the following solution: •Mix 1 cup of water, half a cup of apple cider vinegar, 1 tablespoon of baking soda and a few drops of grapefruit seed extract. Let the ingredients soak in this mixture for approximate an hour and then rinse them with water Use a "fruit and veggie" commercial wash.
