Lord's Prayer by a 15-year-old school kid who got an A+ for this entry (TOTALLY AWESOME)!
The Lord's Prayer is not allowed in most U.S. Public schools any more.
A kid in Minnesota wrote the following NEW School Prayer:-

Now I sit me down in school
Where praying is against the rule
For this great nation under God
Finds mention of Him very odd
If scripture now the class recites,
It violates the Bill of Rights.
And anytime my head I bow

Our hair can be purple, orange or green,
That's no offense; it's a freedom scene.
The law is specific, the law is precise.
Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice
For praying in a public hall
Might offend someone with no faith at all.
In silence alone we must meditate,
God's name is prohibited by the State.
We're allowed to cuss and dress like freaks,
And pierce our noses, tongues and cheeks.
They've outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible.
To quote the Good Book makes me liable.
We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen,
And the 'unwed daddy,' our Senior King.
It's 'inappropriate' to teach right from wrong.
We're taught that such 'judgments' do not belong.
We can get our condoms and birth controls,
Study witchcraft, vampires and totem poles.
But the Ten Commandments are not allowed,
No word of God must reach this crowd.
It's scary here I must confess,
When chaos reigns the school's a mess.
So, Lord, this silent plea I make:
Should I be shot; My soul please take!
Amen
If you aren't ashamed to do this, Please pass this on.

One scripture that I always remembered [but as I grow OLD, I have to brush up, as my memory is starting to fail me... LOL. Where, "Satan is walking around the earth like a roaring lion, seeking to devour people." 1st Peter 5: 8.
OK, here is a trick that I learned many years ago... If you have a computer and the InterNet, you can just type as much of a particular Bible Scripture in your 'dialoged box' as you can remember and hit ENTER. That will usually get you where you want to be in a second. But to get 'money out of your bank you first need to deposit some money FIRST.' Of course the Holy Spirit can and will help an honest Christian find and remember things that pertain to God and the Bible, but the Christian must work to put those sacred saying in the mind and heart BEFORE he can recall them ! OK, we all have different, special "Gifts" freely endowed by our Creator, but we need to 'sharpen our tools, knives, etc.,' and keep them sharp BEFORE we grab them for use! Go figure, friends. Smile.
Satan the devil WANTS us to just give up, or do the least amount just to get to heaven. He doesn't want much of our money -- just our love, praise, obedience. We and others can "see" our over all improvements as we continue to study and mix/ worship with our fellow congregants in the world--Earth. It has been said that our Christian brothers and sister [underground--secretly] in China outnumber us in the thousands who are probably much more poorer than those in America, pray for U.S. !! We are most likely tempted into immorality and materialism, where as the brothers in China and other remote places are vexed by different ideas and thoughts. I, personally contribute what ever I can to a few known religious organizations that are honest and trustworthy. "Samaritan's Purse," and "Bible Tracts, Inc." are 2-- that I can think of right now.
Well, I just ate a little food today for the first time in almost a week, but restricted to a 'bland diet' and no soda pop or beer, wine, etc. No sugar or spice that might irritate my tender stomach. My dear wife, Loretta, has been my angel of mercy, non-stop, all this time and I love her dearly for giving me so much of her time. I actually slept in the same bed as my wife last night, as my burning, pained stomach has disallowed me for this part of the week and I have been sleeping and living on the new EZ chair that we just bought a month ago. And I am starting to think that the civilian Iron Mountain Memorial Hospital is head and shoulders above the local VAMC place that won't spend or get the money to hire the right kind of top notch doctors, surgeons and medical staff to perform necessary surgery and other procedures, and Veterans always have to settle for 2nd class attention if at all. The wheels of the Gov't and especially the VA turn ever so slowly, and it is just NOT fair that ILLEGAL ALIENS get free, great medical care when they get here illegally, under or over the fence, as many of them never worked nor paid taxes or Social Security like we natural citizens and combat Veterans who fought and bled for America in so many ways!! Please, do just sit on your butts --- do something! Like pass this humble plea, and blog post to as many other folks as possible ! Honestly, my life is now in the balance, as I do everything that the good doctor tells me to.
