Dangerous but Doable.

Tom's Journal. http://tomschuckmanjournal.blogspot.com/ tschuckman@aol.com

I certainly adhere to all this news and print, and I believe that all or most of the churches  I attend also believe in what the author publishes here too!  If that makes me a 'radical' or 'dangerous' individual, let the Socialist powers that be take my head.   Jesus is my personal Lord and Savior, and heaven is my home.  I have been studying these Bible truths for many years and promoting this kind of  knowledge in my humble Blog for a few years now.

Warm Regards,

Tom Schuckman

Dear friend of Israel,

DANGEROUS BUT DOABLE:

That’s the conclusion of the most reliable Israeli sources regarding a preemptive strike on Iran. Our own Secretary of Defense, Leon Panetta has said he expects an Israeli strike to take place sometime in the Spring or early Summer time frame. While the exact time is known only by Israel, the action is inevitable. And we can be sure that at least two of Iran’s client organizations, Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon will be in the mix as well. This could fulfill Zechariah’s prophecy (12:1-9). In any case, it would be the time Israel deals with nests of Jihadists that surround them, rejecting an imposed cease-fire until the mission is accomplished.

Meanwhile, it is reported President Obama promised Israel super-bunker-buster-bombs and planes that can make a round trip to Iran without refueling - IF Israel will delay actions until after the 2012 elections. Expect further promises as the time draws nearer. Some of these promises could well have Biblical dimensions. Israel has already indicated they will attack without consulting the U.S if they deem the threat warrants immediate action. 2012 promises to be a critical “year of decision” for Israel.

THE CALLING OF TJCI:

The overriding mission of The Jerusalem Connection is to inform, educate and activate support for Israel and the Jewish people. This becomes more timely and crucial every day as many in the world turn against Jews and Israel; as enemies of Israel speak of “wiping them off the map”; as forces in our own secular academia join together to degrade and delegitimize Israel; as anti-Semitism grows. This goal dictates our priorities and our actions. As Christian Zionists, we support the modern state of Israel as a partial fulfillment of God’s covenant promises to provide a homeland for the Jewish people. We say “partial fulfillment” because we believe the ultimate fulfillment will take place when Messiah returns. Jesus clearly said who he was and why he came. We know his disciples and tens of thousands of early followers received him. We believe the coming Messiah will be the same Jesus who was born in Bethlehem over two thousand years ago. Meanwhile, we seek to :

CONFIRM the present validity of God’s covenant to Israel. (Gen.17:7-8)
CHAMPION Aliyah: the re-gathering of the Jews to Israel. (Isa. 49:22)
CONFRONT Anti-Semitism. (Psalm 83:1-4, 18)
COUNTER Replacement Theology/ Supersessionism. (Rom. 9:4; 11:1-2)
CONTEND for God’s heart for Israel & the Jewish people. (Jer. 32:40-41)
COMFORT Israel and the Jews through ministries of mercy. (Isa 40:1-2)
CONNECT with the Hebraic roots of Christianity. (John 4:22)

UPDATE ON PAT:

Pat completed 12 weeks of chemo therapy, followed by a successful laparoscopy surgery February 21. She now begins the follow up chemo, which will last from 9 to 18 weeks. The doctors informed us this week that the serious pain that brought her to the emergency room saved her life. He actually said, “She would have passed by now if she had not come in when she did." He went on to say we should be very encouraged at her positive response to the chemo and surgery. While doctors don’t give prognosis, we stand on the promises of God for her full recovery (Matt. 8:17; Acts 10:38; I Peter 2;24). We praise God for the prayers of so many of you for Patty. You find out who your friends are when hard times hit. Your cards, notes, gifts and love has so moved our hearts and given us great joy and encouragement. Thank you so much. Pat asks, “Keep it up!”

THE AUSCHWITZ PAINTINGS:

Also please continue to pray with us about a permanent home for Pat’s Auschwitz Album Revisited paintings. Although we cannot plan an exhibit this summer, Pat has been asked to take the artworks to two European countries and she continues to work on new paintings as she can. We put a new painting on our website last week. There have been contacts with some of the Holocaust museums here and elsewhere – so we ask you, our partners, to join us as we turn that over to our Heavenly Father!! Meanwhile, you may get a giclee (archival p rints) of any of the paintings by going online or by writing to the office.

WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT:

As you can see, we are soldiering on with what God has called us to do. We are in this end time fight together. We could not do the work if you did
not do what you can do. So pray for us and remember The Jerusalem Connection in your offerings and charitable giving.

In addition to monthly needs, TJCI needs a new(er) ministry vehicle. We have a 1997 Dodge Caravan with over 200,000 miles that has served us well, but the repair bills the last five months have made us realize the time has come. If you have a later model van in good condition that you would be willing to donate, as a 501(c)3 organization we are authorized to give you a tax exempt letter. I am willing to come and get it where ever it is. In any case, please pray with us about this need.

Go to our website to sign up for a monthly gift or a make one time online donation.

Or mail your donation to:
The Jersualem Connection, International, PO Box 20295
Washington, D.C. 20041

WE’RE PRAYING FOR YOU:

Be assured, for every donation that comes to us, regardless of the size, I personally pray for you. I put Yahweh’s name on you, by name, for his blessing according to Numbers 6:22-27. Also, our wonderful staff prays at the coming & going of each one. The two Marilyns (our faithful volunteers) sound the shofars each Tuesday over all the letters! We all feel like we have a family scattered over the country: praying for us, supporting the work, and caring! May His blessing be yours!

Od ki yavo Shilo (Until Messiah comes),

Dr. James M. Hutchens, President
Chaplain (Brigadier General) U.S.Army (Ret.)
