"Sugar Cookie Christians"

Hey Guys!
I was afraid of this LAST year !!  Because disaster like this are "ACCUMULATIVE!"   That means [with all due respect] that the world can survive a bad drought and poor wheat harvest, one or two years in a row...  but this has been going on for a while and now it's time to pay the butcher the baker and the candle stick maker.  We, and Russia normally ship grain to other countries so they can survive too, but now it will be different, friends.  Sorry, but it's time for the 'stink to hit the fan, man.'  Starving  your enemies is just as deadly as bullets and bombs-- even from ancient times up until NOW!

I just want you all to know about the word PREPARATION, NOW!  I, personally, will LEARN how to make, bake bread, and cook rice to perfection, if it kills me... LOL !  I encourage all readers, etc., to learn NOW how to do many different things and learn new skills, and try new kinds of dishes and foods, BEFORE the grocery stores gouge the heck out of us for their products.  My pretty wife and I don't have a lot of garden space, so we are growing tomatoes in large bowls and planters on our back yard deck, etc.    I am sharing this Info because I care about my friends and neighbors, and I  never ever hope to get anything from posting this, except a good feeling.  Beware! And Prepare!
Secret:   ....shhhhhh!  Plan to buy more flour, sugar, yeast, rice, grains,  etc., before it sky rockets in price...... and don't tell any body about this.  Learn how to can and freeze things like bread, etc., and survive.  Tell no one about your survival strats.
Destroy this post after you read it.

Hi Tom-
Thought I'd share my special bread recipe.  It's easy and very good.  Has to be-I'm married to a native German and he wouldn't eat anything other than perfect crusty bread!!!
In a glass bowl,
mix 2 1/2 c bread flour, 1/2 cup rye flour (or whatever whole grain you like)1 heaping tsp salt, 1/4 tsp rapid rise yeast, and 1 1/2 c hot tap water.   I sometimes add pumpkin, sunflower or flax seed in)
Mix this together  with a wooden spoon, cover tightly with plastic wrap for 12 to 16 hours.  Forget about it.  Then, shape into a loaf (don't knead!!!).  Cover with a towel for 1 1/2 hours.  After this time, don't touch the dough, but put a cast iron dutch oven in the oven at 450 for a half an hour (I've also used a pizza stone and a can of water for this-but be sure to preheat it for the 1/2 hour!)
Now, the loaf has rested for 2 hours.  Put it inside the dutch oven, lid on, and bake it for 45 minutes.
Let me know how you like it after you've tried it!!

Tom and his Mom...

Dear Survivalists,

That was the headline across multiple news outlets this time last year.
What does that mean for you now?
The blistering summer and ongoing drought conditions have prompted the USDA to declare a federal disaster area in more than 1,000 counties covering 26 states.
That's almost one-third of all the counties in the United States, making it the largest disaster declaration ever made by the USDA.
The declaration covered almost every state in the southern half of the continental U.S., from South Carolina in the East to California in the West.
Check out this image from 2012 showing the states affected by this disastrous drought:
That was LAST YEAR... and it's already worse this year.
And showing no signs of letting up...Here's the image for this year so far:
These ongoing drought conditions have severe consequences for our national food supply.
Are you prepared to survive while the rest of the country withers in the heat?
If you plan it right you can be...

 Nice Comment:  From TX:

Good information Tom and you are speaking to someone that knows about drought. Our part of Texas has been in sever drought
this makes our 12 year in a row and we have never been known for an over abundance of rain to begin with. This year we have had a
grand total of 1 1/2 in. The words in your article really did hit home. This year it is either drought wiping out crops or floods and this is
world wide. Yes the famine spoken of in the BIBLE is coming to pass. People need to get it while there is wheat, sugar, grain, salt etc.
As a matter of fact I just placed an order for more freeze dried food plus I can and dehydrate our food. Another good idea to stock up is canning jars and lids. They may also be hard to find later on.  God Bless
