Everybody Wants To Rule The World

Some people said that it took me a while to snap out of a so-called dyslexic reading challenge when I was a 2nd grader, but I took off like a rocket in 3rd grade and never looked back. My brother had a very bad time with reading. Both times when I had to take an entrance exam to attend college, my verbal aptitude went off the chart... Praise the Lord. I just hated Math but I had to know it for all my welding and carpentry jobs, etc. I guess that I probably read about 2-3 hours per day now until my eyes get too dry. To take my Federal Securities exam to sell quality Mutual Funds/ Investments, we almost had to be a speed reader. Now I have lost most faith and trust in investments that obama might steal and "spread my wealth" to illegal aliens and people who WON'T work... lol. I am a fast reader but most of the time I like to 'savor' good literature, Bible, books, and poems.

Weather in school or the Army or a must have job / occupation/ MOS, we are forced to study, learn and do the job correctly to pay our bills and support our families-- if we are biblical Christians. Some ghetto folks and Dims just can't handle that mind set it seems.

Have you all heard about a possible Bill in the Senate that may give authority to shut down the inter net to the Prez obama??? In my past blog posts I predicted that this might well happen! Knowing how to play chess-- one can fairly predict what an evil man will do next to seize more power and "confound" our fast communications so as to divide us and mess us up.

Keeping to my Mantra of reading the Word and keeping our eyes on the Lord, I also am very interested in learning more about the 'end times' prophecy [in the fine article below]. Using logic, insight and the bible, this is what COULD happen in the near future.... and when you resign yourself and put all your Faith and Trust in God's wisdom and mercy--- why would we even have fear or anxiety about what WILL come soon?? That's the way I see it.

I am really hoping for a nice, warm, sunny day so I can do some work out side and grill some more meat and veggies. So much for "global warming" with lower Wisconsin in the low 50's last night.... Ha!

I was lying down for a half hour this aft listening to the Christian WVCY -FM 107.7 Radio from Milwaukee and had something planted in my brain. If we are NOT attending a solid Bible teaching church [I don't care what faith/ flavor] maybe we should understand that many so-called 'Christian' churches have already sold out to the Gov't and the worldly Satanic 'One World/ One Religion' philosophy. The very subject makes me sad and nauseous but we have to be aware of this fact, ie: a few denominations have already moved to accept Gay preachers and abortion... duh! I believe in being prepared and planning for big events to come down the pike-- as fore told in the Bible. Would it not make sense to PLAN just like other persecuted countries that make it hard for real Christians to meet for worship and fellowship ?? If all the true biblical preachers/ pastors and deacons were suddenly rounded up by the authorities and taken to prison or internment camps, WHO would take over to lead the churches?? Some pastors never train a "2nd in command"-- wanting to 'micro-manage' the whole show by themselves. Many so-called lax pastors are not doing their jobs now... and the bible says, "strike the Shepard and the sheep will scatter."

The first century Christians met in private homes and other places until they had permission / freedom to build larger meeting places. Many were killed and martyed for their Faith in Jesus Christ. We in America have been very blessed so far-- but I need not tell you all what is happening now in the USA. Once the Gov't takes our guns-- they will do what ever they want! Why not plan NOW to start planning-- at least to start a family or two to have a Bible study and coffee once a week at our own house, perhaps just a Bible reading and small discussion. I am NOT ADVOCATING STARTING OUR OWN CHURCH OR RELIGION. we are doing something now at our church, RBC, on Sunday mornings led by a competant pastor, named Wayne B., and it works for us, but I have in the past conducted many bible studies with others, my own family and small groups. No body killed me yet... LOL. Remember, once something like this happens in the U.S., it may be too late. Just my personal opinion. And if you are not studying the Bible and praying your head off on a regular basis--- you are losing out on something really great and special. A Soldier of the Lord keeps training and ready ALL THE TIME, for Satan is a wiley and powerful foe.

By the way, sometimes one or more of my regular readers doesn't care for my comments or bible based opinions and they leave or ask me to dump them from my email list, and I say great-- poof, you're gone! I am not looking for 'fair weather Christians' or cowards and lossers taking the path of lest resistance. Being a Christian is hard and dangerous! Few will make it to heaven-- but all those who confess and pledge their allegience to the King and Lord Jesus Christ can COUNT on being Saved and in heaven!! It sounds simple but it's true and beautiful how Jesus forgives ALL our sins. It doesn't matter how wicked and sinful we once WERE, but what we choose to do with our future and HOW we bow to---humans or the true Lord of the Bible. I make mistakes in my thinking and Blog sometimes and I have stood corrected by my peers and eaten humble pie. I think that is good for my character.

Good Day from super rainy Wisconsin!
My wife is aching and in bed after stay up all night long-- as usual. Her hip wants to fall out and make her fall, so I said, 'take some medicine and herbs and just sleep and take the day off.' The Bible is so 'cool' in giving us practical advice, ie: Eccl. 'Two are better than one, as one mate keeps the other warm when they lie down...' We take turns depending on each other for help and assistance, love and warmth.

Sharon bought some more dog food yesterday, for a 45 pound bad--about $50 !! But the dog has to eat and drink too, of course. I just will never buy dog food from China...poison, sorry. We have made our own dog food out of hamburger meat and rice put together in meaty rice balls, and Deuce gobbled them up with delight. I, personally, see that packages of meat, beef, especially are getting smaller in the stores, but for the same price as before, and we love veggies and fruit, but those commodities won't be spared ether. EXPECT prices to get worse in this 'man-made, artificial' obama-controlled economy ! Get used to it and don't worry-- things will get much worse. But be joyful in the knowledge that we will survive by the Grace of God Almighty, or be taken up in Rapture or glorious martyrdom. The rest of the world are 'blind mice' running around scared and grasping at straws.

The Muslims have an outlandish hope of going to "their heaven" to enjoy 70 virgins... lol. But what about those VIRGINS? What do they believe happens to women and how are they treated now?? As a matter of record and history, women of Christian cultures have usually had it better than their counter part in heathen cultures/ nations. Picture Barbara Boxer and Nancy Pelosi in a Berka! I would like to know the truth about women of Islam to get the proper prospective. I am open minded and just want to know the truth--- but I doubt that I will get it now days. EXPECT Christians to be persecuted in the U.S.A. Many/ Most will cave in and follow the Great Dragon, Satan, to survive and take the path of least resistance. Relatively few in comparison will take the cramped and narrow road that leads to everlasting life in Heaven that the Bible speaks of. But it's always been that way on earth, because most people are selfish, weak and wicked.

Our American economy is being weakened, plowed under ON PURPOSE by obama and the Dims, but the RINO's are guilty too. I didn't want to believe that until I had to face the truth and learn from intense study and programs like Glenn Beck, etc, lately. Evil people want him dead and off the air waves of TV and Radio, and it might happen sooner than latter, and he knows it well. He will die a 'national martyr' but I hope and pray that he accepts the Lord Jesus Christ too.... what a brave man, and Rush Limbaugh too! I have always thought, 'what a terrible pity and loss that some 'nice, great, sincere, honest people' might not grasp and accept Jesus before they die !' But God knows the true content of the heart, not we humans or limited sight and understanding. We can only see peoples' actions and words.

I don't sit on a log or my EZ chair just waiting for God to save me--- because God gives us the "tools" to prepare and plan [to some extent] for emergencies and disasters. If we give up things that we really don't need, perhaps we will have the funds to buy a few flash lights, batteries, food, basics, silver, etc., for the coming bad times. My nose, IMHO, should be in the Bible for at least an hour or so each day, but I also have to walk in the garden to pick the tomatoes, cukes, and zucchinis, etc so we can eat them....duh.
Well, it's time that I beat myself to get up and do the chores. That is my job as a married man.

From late news on TV I heard that Sen. Teddy Kennedy has just died in the wee hours of the Wednesday morning. I know it's the normal thing in America to praise a "great" lion of a man like him with a 3 week funeral, etc., but for the absolute truth be know, that man was a far Left Liberal who was Pro-ABORTION, anti- gun, Pro-Gay, Pro- illegal alien and many other kinds of stuff/ ilk. I will leave the rest of my opinions go right now, out of respect for the dead.... but I believe that without a man's confessing his sins before God and accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as his PERSONAL LORD AND SAVIOR, and trying to imitate Christ--- the place called hell still has lots of room in it. If we lived in a land with a wicked king who raped and plundered his people-- and he suddenly died, would we weep or celebrate? Sen. Kennedy did some good work to help out the common man, built and signed many good legislation, and set an example of how WE ALL SHOULD GET THE SAME KIND OF ELITE MEDICAL TREATMENT THAT [TOO BAD] WE ALL SHOULD BE GETTING! If the crap the Gov't wants to serve US is so great-- THEY ought to get it too!

Hurry Up and Die, Already!

Little wonder so many folks are showing up at health care protests, expressing anxiety over socialized medicine, health care rationing and "death panels". Writing in The Wall Street Journal, Jim Towey describes the Obama administration's ham-handed attempts to cut costs at the Veterans' Administration.

Last year, bureaucrats at the VA's National Center for Ethics in Health Care advocated a 52-page end-of-life planning document, "Your Life, Your Choices." It was first published in 1997 and later promoted as the VA's preferred living will throughout its vast network of hospitals and nursing homes. After the Bush White House took a look at how this document was treating complex health and moral issues, the VA suspended its use. Unfortunately, under President Obama, the VA has now resuscitated "Your Life, Your Choices."

Who is the primary author of this workbook? Dr. Robert Pearlman, chief of ethics evaluation for the center, a man who in 1996 advocated for physician-assisted suicide in Vacco v. Quill before the U.S. Supreme Court and is known for his support of health-care rationing.

"Your Life, Your Choices" presents end-of-life choices in a way aimed at steering users toward predetermined conclusions, much like a political "push poll." For example, a worksheet on page 21 lists various scenarios and asks users to then decide whether their own life would be "not worth living."

The circumstances listed include ones common among the elderly and disabled: living in a nursing home, being in a wheelchair and not being able to "shake the blues." There is a section which provocatively asks, "Have you ever heard anyone say, 'If I'm a vegetable, pull the plug'?" There also are guilt-inducing scenarios such as "I can no longer contribute to my family's well being," "I am a severe financial burden on my family" and that the vet's situation "causes severe emotional burden for my family."

When the government can steer vulnerable individuals to conclude for themselves that life is not worth living, who needs a death panel?

...This hurry-up-and-die message is clear and unconscionable. Worse, a July 2009 VA directive instructs its primary care physicians to raise advance care planning with all VA patients and to refer them to "Your Life, Your Choices." Not just those of advanced age and debilitated condition—all patients. America's 24 million veterans deserve better.

As do the intended victims of Democrats' rabid plans for socialized medicine. Consider the framing in "Your Life, Your Choices":


On the other hand, Jim Towey is the author of "Five Wishes", the most widely used living will in America, with more than 12 million copies in circulation. Unlike the VA's document, it contains no bias either for or against end-of-life medical care. Consumer Reports describes Five Wishes as a "well conceived" document and an NCI-NIH study praised its use as a living will.

Those who ridicule the notion of "death panels" need ask themselves only one question: if I am in that situation, which document would I prefer? Follow-up question: which document should be used by our veterans?

I am so happy to have a good handful of serious ties-- friends and fellow Christians to bond to, all over the world, and also many combat Veterans as friends too [of course]. The above is a super fine true story of an Australian Vietnam Vet's diary/ journal, who was in the same approx. war zone 'in-country' area [North of Bien Hoa] as I was in 1968. There was small and large battles going on all the time, everyday over there in that 'tropical paradise'.. lol, many not published or told to the "civilians" back home. Many combat Vets just won't talk about that experience and I respect them. Others find that they are still trying to put the pieces together and make sense of it. Go figure, the MASH movie where the doctors and nurses gained 10 tons of serious experience in combat in just ONE year! Same with the combat Veterans, my dear past father who fought in Saipan-- WW-2- Navy, and all his 5 brothers, my uncles, who served in the Army] too.

It stands to reason that [IMHO] combat Veterans make good Soldiers of Christ too! but now we have a different fight/ battle: "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might, Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the Devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Ephesians 6: 10-12, by the Apostle Paul. I bought a few bronze and silver 'challenge coins' with this scripture engraved on one side --and with an armed ancient soldier on the other side. I found that it's a good 'witnessing tool.' But just think about this scripture for a moment, please. It ALMOST sounds like the man in the WH... lol ! But it really represents Satan and his agents in the invisible world-- standing behind most every throne/ chair of high Gov't figures, etc, world wide.

For sure, the heavens AND the earth must be cleaned COMPLETELY before he NEW heavens and NEW earth can be made!! And this is exactly what we Christians pray for at MATHEW 6:9, the "Lord's Prayer" -- 'Let your Kingdom come.' Think of it. When at last God's Kingdom {Gov't} comes, there will be total peace and security-- NOT from the hands of mere humans, Governments, political parties, or the United Nations-- but from the God of the Bible!
We pray that the Gov't "leaders" will let us keep our Freedoms of Speech, to worship God and obey Jesus Christ, etc. BUT IF THEY TRY TO PREVENT US FROM WORSHIPING AND SERVING/ OBEYING OUR CHOSEN LORD, JESUS CHRIST, we MUST obey God rather than men--- to the death, if necessary! Period. All biblical, studied Christians will tell you that they truly expect this to happen-- and sooner than latter.

Watching the news and reading the truth, it is strongly apparent that OUR Gov't and the rest of the world are indeed forcing US to move to a "One world gov't, and a One world religion." Impossible? Ha! Look what has happened already in the USA! And the President cannot do ANYTHING without the Congress' approval, OK.. so go figure. By the 2010 elections, it will be way too late... the damage will be too great and we will be SOL. Personally, I look for a BIG "change" in the next 6 to 12 months.
The battle lines are already drawn. Where do YOU stand?? Are we to be men or mice? Brave solid Christian Soldiers and well trained from reading/ knowing the Bible well --- or dumb, ignorant, lazy cattle waiting to be slaughtered by the Devil ? Have you heard this message more than once? When God puts His big old sledge hammer down-- you won't have any more chances. The bible states that the majority will perish-- but Christians still have to do their duty/ work for the Lord by preaching/ sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Muslims and other faiths are ready to die for their pagan beliefs, and are well protected by our OWN Gov''t --- and I chose to serve the loving but Just God of all things, and His Son, Jesus Christ, even if it means my death tonight! I am a Soldier.
