Hello Moscow! We got the deep heat too in WI and the Mid-West, etc. That's why I needed to get Sharon out of the house for a Subway sandwich and then some Dairy Queen ice cream! Sue, the cleaning lady did a fine job, but she always complains that the house is messy.... lol. I allow her to help herself to the cold drinks and food, but she works her buns off for us and goes that extra mile.

The VA called up today and explained that they honored my request to have a new PCP -- Male doctor, after getting jerked around by the female Nurse Practitioner for the past few years and getting now where. But I won't see him until May... lol, and so much could happen before then.

My opinion is that most humans can tolerate a hot spell with muggy, humid weather for a few days, but we are experiencing weeks of the hot stuff. And yes, I realize that folks in AZ have hot weather 3/4's of the year and love it-- but I like the seasons in WI, and have four wheel drive in my Ram and a snow blower. I may be wrong, but I also think this killer weather is part of the 'Last Days' prophecy. I pay a lot for A/C in the Summer time, but we like it cool in the Winter time too and save that way. BTW, it is NOT my intention to hurt feelings or insult others when it comes to the current gentleman in the WH, but I just want to exercise my RIGHT TO CONSTITUTIONAL FREE SPEECH, in telling the TRUTH as I see it. Actually, I loathe politics which is synonymous with the term: LIES, and that includes both parties. I like the Tea Party people who are honest and active.

And regarding the so-called 'News Media' -- especially the Left that lies every day, can we really trust them to tell us the truth about the Islamic agenda, to conquer and kill EVERYONE who does not accept Islam?? The more we learn about those folks-- the better we can make rational decisions, and protect ourselves. Frankly, I am bone tired of all the lies and free passes they get in our country.
And when the war between Israel and her Muslim neighbors finally comes-- I know who will kick butt and win! Does anyone care to place a bet??

Muslims Seek to Censor Gospel of Christ

The First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution states that Congress shall make no law prohibiting the free exercise of religion, yet the Quran states in Sura 4:89, “Those who reject Islam must be killed. If they turn back (from Islam) take hold of them and kill them wherever you find them.”

The key difference between Islam and Christianity is that Islam believes that we are to lay the lives of others down to promote the cause of Allah. Christianity, on the other hand, believes that we are to lay down our own lives that others might live. There is a huge difference between a Christian martyr (laying his own life down) and a martyr for Islam (laying the lives of others down). One requires courage. The other is the supreme act of cowardice.

Defend the Rapture.

I just felt the need to flesh out this important subject so as to WARN other Christians and those new souls who are being assaulted by Satan's earthly agents-- so called 'prophets and teachers' who trash the Rapture. As I noted in my comment below from the book of Matthew chapter 24, that these terrible deceptions in the Last Days before the Rapture and Tribulation MUST come! Jesus said so! And all the ragged, skin of their teeth, new believers who are unsteady who are still not mature in Bible study and discernment stand the risk, perhaps, of being seduced and misled by Satan's earthly agents, ought to BEWARE! A lion will usually attack the weakest, slowest, member of the herd.
Would you want to go into battle with just shower tongs and a stick?? I have actually seen our Vietnamese allies do just that after they sallied forth off our 'slick' helicopter in 'Nam! HA! I would rather carry everything I need and extra ammo if it were me jumping out the door in the bush or rice paddy. And if I couldn't be an "A" student-- I'd certain hope to be a "B" student in school, instead of a "D" student, doing the LEAST to just pass.

And it's true that just sitting in church every Sunday no more makes you a Saint or Saved--- than standing in a garage makes you a car, or a mechanic. BUT... there are still some fundamental, Bible teaching/ preaching churches left in the USA,and else where that can really help real Christians learn, love and exhort one another to fine works and encouragement. The Baptist church we attend has been very helpful, friendly, encouraging, to minister to our physical and spiritual needs. But mature Christians usually are strong enough to 'feed' themselves thru the Bible itself and prayer. Yet, it's good to have friends that you can trust and fellowship with, IMO. I love Christian radio too, that features pastors like Charles F. Stanley, etc. In my locale, we have the wonderful WVCY 107.7 FM -- out of Milwaukee, but you can hear it through your computer/ InterNet.


The Rapture is a very important part of our Christian belief system, so we ought to learn it well enough to defend it, teach it to others, and stand our biblical ground.

Today in WI, we have a Heat advisory with a high index as unhealthful so that it feels like we are over 100 degrees F. Beware, Moscow is not the only place sweltering/ roasting in high heat. Keep cool.

The teaching of the Rapture being a myth seems to have been gaining momentum over about the past year & a half. At least we seem to be hearing more about it at the least.

Evangelist Perry Stone, recently did a series of teaching on the Rapture (videos are archived on his website) to prove that there is indeed going to be a Rapture. One of the things he said about the word Rapture not being found in the Bible was that in the original translation, the word "demon" isn't found either. I also heard an old country preacher on a small-town radio station about an hour north of here talking about this same thing say you won't find the word "Bible" in there either.

Not finding a specific word in the Bible has got to be the weakest & most inane argument there is. People actually buying into this argument just shows the level of end-time deceit that exists now. Brother Stone also made the statement that it was his experience that people who didn't believe in the Rapture were not exactly living lives of holiness. I believe this is what this is really all about. Most people now don't want to hear there will be a judgment & we will be held accountable for our actions.

This interesting article is really intended for mature, biblical Christians as sort of an apologetics insert. It's just another layer of 'protection' to ward off demon inspired chatter from false prophets, etc. There are still many bullies out there who think that their 'BIG WORDS' can pry honest Christians away from the truths of the Bible, including the term Rapture.

We might say that I am an 'educated country plow boy' who loves God and the Bible, and the Holy Spirit enables all people [who accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior] to grasp the weightier things of God's Word if we put our nose to the grind stone. I certainly didn't learn everything in a day either. God hates the proud heart-- but the humble ones He raises up-- and SAVES.
ARE YOU READY FOR HE RAPTURE ??

I somehow feel right now like this is the 'calm before the storm' -- and Satan is just as busy as ever misleading and blowing smoke at the majority of mankind so they take no note of what is about to happen.... Even as we Christians pray every day-- NOW is the time to draw closer to the Lord than ever before, just as Jesus and his apostles were in that Garden that night before the crowd took him away to be 'judged' and crucified. Truly, I feel this same thing in my gut every single day! When will the heathens fire the first shot that launches the big battle of Israel?
I know full well that most un-believers see me as a silly, old, crippled soldier who needs more medication to make me docile, but I see THEM as the folks who made fun of Noah before the flood. Sharon and I are truly blessed, even in our humble hovel with pain and suffering from various sickness and injuries. Bless our spiritual, persecuted brothers and sisters in hostile lands who don't even have clean, cool, drinking water and a shack to hang their hat.

My friend, Steve, and my son, Andy, who recently painted my house BLUE. The un-kept, ill-repaired house to the right [behind my son and friend] is the neighbor's house that was never painted as long as I was here.... Ouch!

I wasn't going to post today-- to give you all a 'break'...lol, but something important came up. I went to the best Ortho/ arthritis doctors in Milwaukee at St. Luke's Hosp, and they took plenty of pix of my knees. The staff and doctors there are so nice and courteous! That's the place to go for major surgery where the 'Dream Teams' operate $$$. Although I asked the docs at the VA many times to please show me the x-rays of my knees and back and explain them to me -- they NEVER did that-- but just jerked me around on a silly goose chase! And the staff is usually grumpy, and you can see that they are there for JUST the paycheck, and that's all. I ought to know after going there for the past 30 years, mostly. But the knees are really bad, 'bone on bone' acute arthritis without cartilage at some points, and other bone spurs, as they showed me in the printed x-rays copies that I took home with me. They explained a lot of finer points to me and recommended that I get knee replacement SOON at the VA. There is not much more they can do for me except give me some salve to rub into the knee for some temporary pain relief. They said my knees looked 'very worn out' and that I surely did have tons of PAIN! So after I talked to a few of my smart friends and prayer, I decided to call the VA tomorrow to put me on the long list of surgery. I HATE surgery... and the fact that sometimes the goofy surgeons cut off the wrong 'anatomy', and a friend of mine almost died after knee surgery when some stupid nurse gave him the wrong medicine that messed up his kidneys! I would have sued those people down to their scivies!

So this is a big deal for me, an older guy, to be put under, but I called the pastor and made him laugh--- "if I die-- I will be in heaven!" I believe that in Proverbs it says, "There is wisdom in a multitude of counselors." Ha! I was trying to hold off until the Rapture comes, but i can hardly walk around to take care of my wife who might be in worse shape than me! It's scary to have been a strong, powerful weight lifter/ power lifter most of my adult life, and then loss that strength in a few years after retirement to become a cripple! Maybe the Lord needed to take the 'wind out of my sails' to get my mind right and follow Him! Well, it worked. Sometimes we have to cut off the hand to save the body.

The TV is working again, after the dude came late at 9:30 last night and replaced the mother board in less than a half hour on our Samsung that was made in Korea. I took Sharon out to the drive in for hamburgers and root beer, and then we drove down by beautiful Lake Michigan to eat in the air conditioned truck. Mama needs to get out of the kitchen sometimes for a treat. Our anniversary is this month too... and I am amazed that we made it this long! Ha! Just joking...

When I went into Miami Valley after my accident - I got MRSA, VRE, cDiff and bacterial pneumonia. The accident isn't what almost killed me - it was all the crap I got infected with thanks to lack of hygiene at the hospital.
However - the actual surgery and recovery is not bad. I put the surgery off as long as I could because I was afraid what I might catch at the hospital. I had minimally invasive surgery. I also was not put under - instead I requested an epidural so I was awake for the entire procedure. I did the same for my two stage hip replacement. Going under terrifies me. I had bone on bone for I don't know how long before I finally went in.

My father's wife had regular knee replacement when she was 80 and breezed through it. Helpful I am sure that she was very slender and petite.

Housekeeper is here and almost finished with the task I assigned to her so need to go and get another one lined up.

We love the new bright blue color! My son did a great job in 90 degree heat-- took him a few days as he has two other jobs. I paid my son a little bonus for his good work and he earned every dollar. He did 99% of the work and I had to buy a new paint sprayer unit that worked so fine.

Hello Bros., Sisters, Guys and Gals, Friends,
Today was terrifically hot and muggy up in the North land --CheeseLand, and hard to even breathe, with hungry mosquitoes that attack in full force, a company at a time, each with their own M-60. But yes, I know that you all have it worse in the South and West.... sorry for your discomfort. Just think of Russia where people are dropping dead like flies in the heat and wild fires around Moscow-- and then China and Pakistan, floods and mud slides swallowing up whole towns at a time before they know what the noise is all about. Just another facet of Jesus' prophecy in the book of Matthew 24, etc. Lord, protect our Brother in the Faith, please.

Sharon was trying to can more tomatoes again, but had to stop for a break, and I just got back from Menard's with 2 more cases of quart canning jars. Tomorrow I go to a larger hospital in Milwaukee for more needles in both knees again-- because the VA's rules say that I can only get their shots every 90 days... and the Nurse Practitioner, gentleman, my buddy, takes MY side and even gave me the top Ortho doc else where!

Sharon listened to it many times but I just kept putting it off for a few years after I bought it. TOM, LISTEN TO YOUR WIFE... HA! I just figure that MOST of us throw money away on stupid stuff, and don't have much important valuables to show for it at home--- like when the darn TV craps out, like ours did recently. WEll now I listen to my old CD player that runs on batteries! And I told Sharon that their would be a silver lining in that dark cloud of no TV too. It hurt to see just how dependent we were on that goofy TV and Cable-- especially when we are both disabled, having trouble getting around these days.

Hebrews 11: 1 says: "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." KJV, of course. Then the entire 11th chapter is filled with FAITH and examples of godly men and women. I know that this verse sounds like a riddle, and it is very profound, yet short. We can talk about invisible things like the wind, electricity, sub-atomic particles, even parasites that guard our eyes, and we believe. Yet "the fool has said, 'there is no God.' And there is another book that I want to buy, but can't afford it right now..."HOW EVIL WORKS." ... Why people elect liars and follow tyrants, fakes, usurpers, frauds, and are just too LAZY to stand up and fight for our Constitutional rights! The Prez, Congress and Judiciary are NOT our bosses --- only the Constitution is our Law! If you have not read that sacred document yet-- shame on you! How can we go into battle against corrupt 'leaders' while being NAKED, without a weapon?? Remember, 'the man who does not read is just as bad off as the man who cannot!' That true statement was on the wall at the college, MATC, that I attended in Milwaukee, WI.

Not to gain attention or be a hold out, and I love and respect many well know Christian bloggers and writers who still champion America and somehow THINK that 'WE' can all "turn things around" to have a godly, Christian nation again, Home of the Brave-- Land of the Free... even as most Americans are functionally illiterate concerning the Constitution and unwilling to write their Congress people, or vote for real Christians...Ha! It sounds good, just like Glenn Back. But it seems to me that these fine people keep leaving out the "God Factor"... the Bible Prophecy, that is coming true right now in front of our very eyes!! Does it make any difference where a real Christian lives or dies? And what if it's true that there are MORE REAL, BIBLICAL CHRISTIANS MEETING UNDERGROUND IN CHINA-- than are in Europe and the USA combined ? Yes, I love America even as I fought for her 2 years in Vietnam, but one has to face reality when a loved one has cancer so deep and comlete in their corrupted body that the doctors close them up as soon as they make that first incision! I just read something today about how corrupt the local, State and Federal Government is in America! Places like Cleveland, Detroit, LA, Newark, etc. that are so violent, and both the Dems and the Republicans are both playing us for fools, and can NEVER put Humpty Dumpty back together again ---ONLY GOD CAN DO THAT, and the Rapture is not far off! Anyway, that is MY prospective and personal opinion on the subject-- taking God's side and multiple warnings. Jesus is my Lord and personal Savior-- and Heaven is my Home.


Keep a cool head, pack on the ice and learn deep breathing.
