Hate Mail.
Things are not going so bad for me, really. Being in the 'know' and up to date with high speed news and info makes me aware of so many people in the world who suffer 10 times worse than I do.
But today, I got a snail mail "birthday card" with evil calculated poison pen hate speech on it-- but I believe that it "comes with the territory" of real Christians who still share the Word, and the Gospel. And it doesn't take a 'Sherlock' to figure out: 1. snail mail, 2. Roanoake, VA, 3. no return address or signature-- and therefore a coward--- who sent it, most likely Walter, who still doesn't have a life or is bored to death. I feel sorry for him, that he has all that time to pursue hateful endeavors to hurt others in his retirement years of leisure in the sun. Can a person truly have the Holy Spirit if he harbors all these hateful feelings with overt actions?? Is such a person happy? I don't think so.... but I can only leave such things to the Lord. Let us pray for Walter in Virginia, please, that he reads the Bible and does more than just sit like a bump on a log WHERE EVER he claims to attend church. He used to be a valued friend of mine, but after he got so negative and boastful, I decided to break things off for a "cooling off time/ period" because I really don't need all that negativity in my life from someone who CLAIMS to be my personal friend and brother.... sorry.
Aside from a little congestion and throat, nose discomfort, I am doing well, and my wife is alert too. I suppose it would be 'safer' to leave out most of my personal life-- as that only gives jealous, hateful people ammunition to shoot me down like the fore mentioned person from Roanoake, VA., who shuns and makes fun of anyone who owns or uses a PC --Personal Computer, and he is 'low tech' -- and that's alright if he chooses to be! Someday, and soon, we may lose our PC/ Internet technology from enemies in China, North Korea who try to take over or destroy our Internet capabilities, etc., or a Solar Flare, or what ever, and I believe in being prepared for the unknown too! But most of us have limited resource$, so building an expensive underground, well stocked bunker is out of the question. Most CHRISTIANS I know mainly put their faith and trust in GOD, however, the Bible does speak positively about saving something for emergencies, etc. Still, we want to remain BALANCED, IMHO.
It's a nice sunny day, but the weather forecast says that heavy snow will be here again North of Milwaukee, WI., but we are used to having snow in our great, over taxed, overly Liberal, Northern State.
Bless all my friends and readers. I hang out on FACEBOOK now days where I find a few folks who have similar interests, like Pro-Life, serious Bible students, conservative politics and present and past military stuff, Rottweilers, etc.

Prez may be in trouble.
BUT... even IF Mr. Obama gets removed from the presidency, we are still in a giant stew where the world is working it's way to the 'point of no return' and the unraveling of civilization as we know it. As if we educated Bible loving Christian have not already seen all the precursors of the world slipping downward into that slippery slope of heathen, ungodly, Satanic dung heap of immorality and corruption these past few decades. It very well looks as if Satan is winning the war-- but in reality a good handful of battles. Fact is: JESUS IS COMING, and the Rapture is near! Hold on to the Truth that set you free, dear friends in Christ! I say that even if the "good guys" were soon elected in the USA-- the future of planet earth still has to fulfill Bible prophecy! I continue-- Heaven is a real place where the Saints and Believers will go, but Satan has done a smash up job of deceiving the majority of the world. He has most of the world chasing their tails with all the momentous political world events and turmoil that fills the TV 'news' every single day! Good news or bad news-- it's ALL a major distraction from God's Word-- the BIBLE!
Frankly, friends, I personally have to near beat myself not to get involved and regress into being a "news junkie" too. I am human, and there fore a sinner, with plenty to work on. If I come off as being a braggart, boastful or a know- it -all, I sincerely apologize, even as I have tried to read, study to become knowledgeable of all the stuff I talk about and share. After all, what good is having the world in your hands -- if you lose your soul in the end?? As I told my Mom [again and again] today, the definition of an expert is 'someone who knows everything there is to know about ONE, SET SUBJECT.' So many of us are an expert, or a near-expert in a few subjects, including me, yet we are still sinners and dust in the wind-- SAVED only by the blood sacrifice of our Lord, Jesus.
I saw my wife today, and last night she got sick on the food [or something] and had to be put to bed by the nurse and remain there until she is better. She is weak and dizzy. I told her that she would get the compact refrigerator that she wanted within the week, as the nursing home only allows the patients to have a small 2.5 CU. IN. unit in their room, so I will call Sears tomorrow. I brought her some vitamin C and more cough drops, etc. and spent some quality time with her, then did a lot of chores before my truck is repaired for parts of 3 days next week... because some punk backed his company's truck into my beautiful Ram 4 by 4 a week ago....Grrrr. My son, Andy, charged up the dead battery in my older Caravan, but my power scooter won't be available for me until the truck is repaired. I think that the repair shops get rich that way... lol. And all of their "loaners" are busy doing time with other folks. I got the flu now too with congestion, sore throat and trouble breathing. Sharon still has bronchitis, etc. Thank you all for your prayers.
Most of our snow has melted in S.E. Wisconsin-- but perhaps some of that is related to the heat and hot air from the revolting teachers' unions protesting in Madison, WI...Ha! They do get some very high benefit packages and perks up here in WI., and the children get hurt when they strike. Actually, although some teachers are very good-- the students graduate functionally illiterate these days and Milwaukee still has a high teen age pregnancy problem yet... I have been in a few unions in my life too, and I can say that they are both good and bad, and many had a communist beginning. As per coal miners and auto workers-- we [they] were screwed and mistreated by the rich owners and managers in the early days--low pay, deaths on the job and injuries, etc., but after ward, IMHO, the unions got too greedy-- and many companies out sourced to places like Mexico and China. Obama supports the Unions because they put him into office!! Please read about this below:

Obama may be in deep trouble… Chief Justice John Roberts, U.S. Supreme Court
By Rebel Rouser from Texas
According to sources who watch the inner workings of the federal government, a smackdown of Barack Obama by the U.S. Supreme Court may be inevitable. Ever since Obama assumed the office of President, critics have hammered him on a number of Constitutional issues.
Critics have complained that much, if not all of Obama’s major initiatives run headlong into Constitutional roadblocks on the power of the federal government.
Obama certainly did not help himself in the eyes of the Court when he used the venue of the State of the Union address early in the year to publicly flog the Court over its ruling that the First Amendment grants the right to various organizations to run political ads during the time of an election.
The tongue-lashing clearly did not sit well with the Court, as demonstrated by Justice Sam Alito, who publicly shook his head and stated under his breath, ‘That’s not true,’ when Obama told a flat-out lie concerning the Court’s ruling.
As it has turned out, this was a watershed moment in the relationship between the executive and the judicial branches of the federal government. Obama publicly declared war on the court, even as he blatantly continued to propose legislation that flies in the face of every known Constitutional principle upon which this nation has stood for over 200 years.
Obama has even identified Chief Justice John Roberts as his number one enemy, that is, apart from Fox News and Rush Limbaugh, Beck, Hannity, and so on.
And it is no accident that the one swing-vote on the court, Justice Anthony Kennedy, stated recently that he has no intention of retiring until ‘Obama is gone.’
Apparently, the Court has had enough.
The Roberts Court has signaled, in a very subtle manner, of course, that it intends to address the issues about which Obama critics have been screaming to high heaven.
A ruling against Obama on any one of these important issues could potentially cripple the Administration.
Such a thing would be long overdue.
First, there is ObamaCare, which violates the Constitutional principle barring the federal government from forcing citizens to purchase something.
And no, this is not the same thing as states requiring drivers to purchase car insurance, as some of the intellectually-impaired claim.
The Constitution limits FEDERAL government, not state governments, from such things, and further, not everyone has to drive, and thus, a citizen could opt not to purchase car insurance by simply deciding not to drive a vehicle.
In the ObamaCare world, however, no citizen can ‘opt out.’
Second, sources state that the Roberts court has quietly accepted information concerning discrepancies in Obama’s history that raise serious questions about his eligibility for the office of President.
The charge goes far beyond the birth certificate issue. This information involves possible fraudulent use of a Social Security number in Connecticut, while Obama was a high school student in Hawaii.
And that is only the tip of the iceberg.
Third, several cases involving possible criminal activity, conflicts of interest, and pay-for-play cronyism could potentially land many Administration officials, if not Obama himself, in hot water with the Court.
Frankly, in the years this writer has observed politics, nothing comes close to comparing with the rampant corruption of this Administration, not even during the Nixon years.
Nixon and the Watergate conspirators look like choirboys compared to the jokers that populate this Administration.
In addition, the Court will eventually be forced to rule on the dreadful decision of the Obama DOJ suing the state of Arizona.
That, too, could send the Obama doctrine of open borders to an early grave, given that the Administration refuses to enforce federal law on illegal aliens.
And finally, the biggie that could potentially send the entire house of cards tumbling in a free-fall is the latest revelation concerning the Obama-Holder Department of Justice and its refusal to pursue the New Black Panther Party.
The group was caught on tape committing felonies by attempting to intimidate Caucasian voters into staying away from the polls.
A whistle-blower who resigned from the DOJ is now charging Holder with the deliberate refusal to pursue cases against blacks, particularly those who are involved in radical hate-groups, such as the New Black Panthers, who have been caught on tape calling for the murder of white people and their babies.
This one is a biggie that could send the entire Administration crumbling — that is, if the Justices have the guts to draw a line in the sand at the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

Better Eye Protection.
Hi Friends,
I just called my Mom and told her about a 'new' eye protection product that my eye doctor gave me to relieve my blurry, fuzzy- wuzzy, tired eyes. I love to read and do about 3-4 hours of intense reading and research almost every day, and I like to touch base on Face Book, but my eyes get tired, dry and blurry. One eye doc years ago told me to use Visine-- as he did too, but my 'new' eye doc lady said NOT TO USE THAT PRODUCT -- as it was making my eye symptoms worse. The 'new' product is called: Soothe xp, and you cal buy it OTC at most drug stores/ pharmacies. She gave me a small sample, and another product called: Systane ultra... which I have not tried yet.
I just love to share the good things in my life with other good people I met, hoping that "cast your bread upon the water-- and it will return to you" verse will come true to me-- and of course it does. One way or another God's sees all our life and it is recorded. "Store up your treasures in heaven where moth and rust cannot consume." True-- we cannot 'buy' or work our way into heaven, but Christians ought to try hard to be "Christ-like" after they receive the Holy Spirit which will guide you with power and discernment.
I have so much going on in February, and my way of keeping track of appointments, etc., is my calendar, but many people now days use their Blackberry. I just read an article about the threat of major cyber attack by China, etc., and that could prove to be devastating! Better to get back to SOME
"low tech"/ survival ways of living.. 'Plan B and C' stuff. Just my opinion.
I had to wait at home for the 'Oxygen man' to come to my humble home and take away the used/ empty Oxygen bottles and replace them-- and he took away Sharon's Oxygen extractor because she is not expected to come home any more, as her health is too ragged with her lumbar spine crumbling, bad heart and lungs, etc. It kind of made me feel sorry and down-hearted when Mario took away Sharon's stuff to help her breath at home... But if i do bring her home sometimes for a whole day-- she can use my stuff/ oxygen bottles, etc., to breathe, and I always carry some in the truck too. Seems like there is always something to foul up my good, sunny, bright days [nasty old Satan too], and that is when we 'cling to our Bibles and faith in God Almighty [Jehovah] and our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We may be dust in the wind-- but Jesus has made mansions for all BELIEVERS in heaven, and the Rapture is near! PTL.
So now my day is pretty much shot. I had hoped to travel to see Sharon again today and bring her what she requested... but then I would hit rush hour in the big city and it gets dark around 4:30PM these days. I found out that I have a low dose of cataracts of the eyes-- and on a scale of 1-10, the eye doc said I have number ONE. Shoot! The days of retirement and leisure are bunk for many of us, and some of my good friends are in bad financial straits right now too. But this is JUST THE BEGINNING, friends, and I would never brag if I had a little more than the neighbor or friends. Bible students KNOW about the future and much worse times while the Congress and the 'Chief' just goof around pretending that everything will somehow be alright....Ha! They are blinded by the devil, and waste time while 'Rome is burning'... some things just never change. "But you can be happy if you've a mind to.." "You can't roller skate in a buffalo herd."

Auschwitz.
The Only Surviving Album of Auschwitz
This is the story of a Hungarian Jewish woman who survived Auschwitz and found a coat belonging to a guard which she took to shield her from the cold immediately after her liberation. In the pocket of this coat she found a photo album. It contained pictures of what went on in this extermination camp. Imagine her reaction when she saw a picture of herself coming off of the train as well pictures of her family who were already murdered. This album at Yad Vashem in Jerusalem was donated by this woman in 1980 and will forever be displayed there. When you have 5 minutes of peace and quiet in front of your computer, watch it and consider passing it around to people that you know so they can share it and know about it. It is truly moving

Happy Monday.
Far be it from me, jolly, old Tom, the happy Veteran, to throw a wet towel on friends and readers--- but the Truth is the Truth. Check it out for yourselves, please. In these last days-- many will be misled, and many will chose to remain IGNORANT! Sorry, but that the way I read them.
Happy Monday, the 14th of February, the month my Mom and I were born in... Brrrr!
Everyone loves a winner-- and I love the Green Bay Packers.

Can a Believer have Doubts?
Today wasn't too bad but I decided to just rest up at home for a while--Saturday, so I might have some energy to get up early on Sunday. I just don't know/ understand why my muscles and joints hurt so bad most of the time-- and my meds ought to be sufficient to take care of the pain, and I don't believe I have a cold or Flu. Could it be the antibiotics the VA wants me to take for any post-op infection?? And then, I could figure it out if just the bad, replaced knee just hurt-- but it's the whole body. Maybe I am doing too much house work and traveling/ chores and shopping on my own-- but then, I don't have any 'support group' in this one horse town-- never did, except for the church shoveling my snow... PTL, and they are a true blessing in that regard. Thank you, friends! I would be lost without my email and FB, etc.
It's kind of funny how my Mom and I send each other gifts of money for special occasions, like: She sent me a fifty dollar bill for an 'early birthday gift', and then I recently sent her a $50 bill for her 'early birthday gift, both in Feb... lol. For some reason she sent me another birthday card with $25, so I thought I would bring over a special Yugoslavian bottle of 'plum juice' and a cheese cake-- but since I could not reach her by phone to see if she would be there at home today-- I just stayed home and enjoyed the dog's company. Everyone seems to be so busy now days! I got the new "brain box"/ computer installed into my truck, but then got a repair estimate from the repair shop-- because a punk who backed his boss's company cargo van into the back of my truck last week-- over $1000, and it will take 3 days work to fix it next week!! I am glad that I did call the cops on that goofy guy who refused to give me his driver's license card and name! I was not even there at the time-- but was visiting my wife at her nursing home. Sometimes you just got to wonder if there was both a mommy and daddy at home training him while he was growing up-- and that is one of the good benefits of marriage-- to raise a child PROPERLY! BTW, who wants to pay for other peoples' abortions with our taxes-- thanks to the many lies of Planned Parenthood-- and their back room butcher shops ?? Hey! Your Congressmen needs to hear from you! Hello! But if you voted for Mr. Obama-- that's OK... you got what you wanted. those folks can't read the Bible either.... sorry. 2+2=4. God's Pro-Life!
The statement: 'Once Saved-- always Saved' is explained down below in a short article, and things like this always make me smile inside and reassure me that the very BEST policy is to cling closely to the Lord and the BIBLE. I keep pounding my drum... that, 'If we don't put money in the checking account-- how in the world can we continue to write out checks or use our debit card !! [The same goes for our own Gov't... lol]. Sooner or later we are going to get caught flat footed, and in deep trouble, friends. A 'man's heart will be where his riches/ treasures are.' I keep saying that a Christian can still have a great time on earth for the most part if he obeys God and studies his Bible-- but just try to "walk on the wild side of Satan" and you might get away with it for a while... but it's like playing the slot machines at some Casino. The Casino has your number-- and they are there to make a profit-- and a fool out of YOU! I know a fine, hard working lady who has a gambling problem and now she is 3 months behind on her mortgage payments. I guess I just love the simple logic of things, and I like to share them with others whom I feel have a good chance of surviving.
Sharon had a rough time of it with her low BP and trouble breathing all week, up and down, but says that she feels better today. I will see her tomorrow again. If only she could learn to keep her cell phone with her, and charge it up before she goes to sleep at night....
Warm Regards,
Tom
Can A Believer Have Doubts?
Q. I read recently that a true believer can not ‘lose’ their faith or have doubts; that if they did they couldn’t possibly have been saved in the first place, for the Holy Spirit would not allow such a thing.
A. True believers cannot lose their faith because it’s a gift from God (Ephes. 2:8-9). At the moment of salvation He assumes responsibility for keeping us and seals the Holy Spirit inside us to guarantee our salvation (2 Cor 1:21-22). Remember, it’s the shepherd’s job to keep the sheep.
But it’s natural for us to have doubts, because the devil plants them in our minds, just like he did with Eve. (“Did God really say …?”) The Holy Spirit counsels us to believe God and resist the devil but cannot control our thoughts. It’s our job to recall God’s promises and use them to repel the enemy’s attack. (2 Cor 10:3-5) It’s one of the reasons that knowing the Scripture is so important.
