'You can't roller skate in a buffalo herd...'  - that old song goes... 'but you can be happy if you've a mind to!' [Roger Miller?]  There are some things that just cannot happen in this world.  Why?  The Bible says so!  I was so proud of Mr. Netanyahu standing his ground against our clown in the WH.  And as we SHOULD know from simple Bible study, Genesis 12:3, that there is a stiff penalty/ curse involved with selling, trading, sharing any land that the Lord God gave to ancient Israel-- because God made that lasting covenant with Israel for ALL TIME!  And ALL America will suffer if we[collectively] are guilty of 'cursing' or hurting Israel in any way.  Remember that the MAJORITY of America elected their Messiah, Obama, and therefore bear SOME responsibility.  

Well, obama and most of our politicians couldn't understand the Bible if they read it 100 times over-- because they are not true Believers, not Saved, and don't have the Holy Spirit -- that brings discernment.  I can say this without reservations because I know the Bible that well.  I teach and share the Gospel all the time, anywhere I go, because it's my JOB as a Christian to do just that!  You don't have to talk to a person very long to figure out if they are a true Christian Believer or not, because red flags go up when their total ignorance and pride become as visible as a fire in the night... lol.  It's not about being pure, sinless or holy-- we are all sinners, but Believers have that special, exclusive relationship with Jesus Christ having confessed our sins and received forgiveness, as we aspire to do better while constantly taking in more knowledge so we can serve our Master in Heaven.  Sorry.. this explanation is actually TOO SIMPLE for the proud to understand.  

But even as we believe that the Rapture could come very soon, we ought to be prepared to die any time-- accidents happen, and eternity is but a heart beat away.  Perhaps we older people think about death too often-- but we are surrounded by death every day, and have lost loved ones.  My mind is still messed up from my personal loss, and it's hard for me to run my affairs right now.  

A close friend, Bill Tippett came over to help me today with his 2 fine children, and they loved my Rottweiler, 'Deuce.'  He is a very smart man and helped me with a number of things today-- and he was also a member of my old 240th AHC- Army unit in Vietnam.  If we combat Veterans don't take care of each other-- WHO WILL??  Thanks, Bill.

I am selling my '05 Dodge Grand Caravan, only 42K miles, in CraigsList and already got 4 nibbles, and I will have to call them back tomorrow.  I have so much to do in so little time, looking to have surgery again, but don't know how fast I can get in line.

I pray for Israel-- not the Gov't, but the people, that they may know the true Messiah, Jesus.  And for Jerusalem too.  Great article below:

I hoped and figured that someone who post an article that went along with my own speculations and mind sets!  And doesn't the book of Acts mirror some of these ideas?  Guess I will read that book again.  But we can guess that some churches will question the need to hold  smaller study groups and  steal their thunder.. lol, but if they are not doing the Bible job right, circumvent them and cut off their money!!  That should fire them up even more!  I figure that God will bless anyone who is sincere in seeking out His Word for info and edification.  PTL.  We ought to all be doing that on our own.

Well, maybe war will be put off for a while in the case of Israel and her Muslim/ Islamic neighbors who really want to erase Israel from the earth.  Remember, the USA is giving plenty of money to Israel's enemies all the time and even training those nasty folks who to fight.. along with other nations who hate the "apple of God's eye."  I can't wait for the Lord to 'flex His muscles and bare His swift sword !'  Then I am going to celebrate and dance in the street.

Help! Our Churches Are Failing Us!

Q. What does a person do that lives in a small town that doesn’t have a church that teaches the truth?  I have a group of 5 friends that all go to different churches and we all are all experiencing the same thing.  The Bible is either watered down, false doctrine is preached, or busy things are done that completely leave out the Word.  The Bible says that we are not to forsake the assembling together.  We meet and study God’s Word in our homes and still go to church but leave empty, mad, and confused. We long to hear God’s Word but it is not to be found.  Have you any suggestions to our situation?

A. I suggest you and your friends stop attending church and structure your  Bible Study group so it can function as a home church.  A number of really good preachers/teachers have audio and video studies that you can use to meet your need for hearing God’s word.   You can augment them with group discussions and prayer.  This would be a lot more fulfilling for you and would be consistent with the Bible’s advice that we not forsake the assembling together.

CASE IN POINT:    Here is an older pic of pastor Wayne Bielgard, from RBC, with my wife, Sharon.

As we all know, there are myriads of "good" causes that we can debate, get involved with, champion, support, donate, etc, etc, and all is well.  The few statements, part my my personal  'base camp'/ mind set, and foundation/ principle seat of understanding/ wisdom, is:  that I ought to seek the main Priority of what the Bible says:  Sanctify God's holy name, seek Him always, and share the GOSPEL.  I love to tie things up in a simple bow, because most of the Bible is written on a 5th grade level and for the common man to understand.... if you have the Holy Spirit to help and guide you.  However, "The wisdom of the world is foolishness with God." ~ 1 Cor. 3:19.  Those who CLAIM to be righteous and cloak themselves with the buzz word, "Christian" will be found out and laid  naked for all to see in the 'End Times.'  I am NOT talking about past sins that we all forgiven when we first confessed Jesus and asked for forgiveness when we were Saved.   It's even hard for me to plan ahead too far, because I feel that things will shortly start rolling with all speed.  And Hey!-- How about the Prez looking to steal more of Israel's property/ land when they barely have enough buffers now to defend-- AGAINST MOST OF THE WORLD??  Those politicians don't know that they are playing with open cans of gas and loaded guns!  

Friends, this only tells me one thing, hunker down, pray and keep sharing the Gospel with what ever strength we have left.  FORGET everything else!  In the near future, if we pay our bills and keep some food on the table, we will be doing just fine, while other parts of the world starve because of greedy, powerful rulers and very poor policies.  Actually, I think that we [America] might be the "last man standing."

I constantly have to readjust my own thinking and slap my face with Aqua Velva, but being Saved means that the Spirit will poke us when we run arye... and off course.  So, guys and gals, brothers and sisters, the usual politicking will certainly side track many of us, stealing precious time to study and pray. But realistically, a new different Prez would be nice-- but will he or she really change things so that we don't fall like Greece, Ireland, Iceland, Spain, etc.?  Only God can straighten things out, and right now-- ISRAEL IS THE CENTER OF THE WORLD!  What could happen there any time now, will change the whole world in a large way.  But don't take my humble work for it-- go read it for yourself.  Many Christians believe that the Rapture could come shortly after God wins the next war for Israel. 

Good friends from church, Christine and Patrick Busler are making another Lasagna for me this week end... Thank you very much!  And my sister, Linda, will be my "next of kin." --If i don't make it thru surgery, and that's OK with me too. And all the ladies I contact near by who just don't have the time to JUST chat or enjoy a steak dinner with me... I think that God is sending me a distinct message to avoid such kind-- that perhaps the end IS that close... so i should not dirty myself...  sorry if I offend some folks, but now is the time when I need someone to talk to in person, in my area...Wisconsin.  Lord knows I have enough on my plate now...
And in all probability, I prob won't go in for surgery for Left knee for a few weeks or even months, IMHO... so save your prayers for others who are in worse shape than I am.  I will keep you all in touch with my progress.

Can you believe what our "Prez" just said about the borders of Israel today, being pulled back to the 1967 level??  Not that it surprises me that much, but this ought to kick things into over drive among other things-- like bring huge disasters to America and soon!  See: Genesis 12:3.  From the book I was just lauding, "As America has done to Israel" ... we stand to have a major disaster following Barry's tasteless, idiotic rant, and perhaps in the next 48 hours!  I will be very surprised if nothing happens, and I don't mean the Mississippi flooding thing either... something bigger than that, I think.  I also think that our monetary system-- the American dollar can and will fail soon, with millions of hard working people losing their savings, etc.

On top of all this, I made an appointment with a Kenosha, WI., "Civilian" Orthopedic surgeon next week to discuss replacing the other [left] knee.  I figure I better use my Chrysler Ins soon before it dries up in any collapse...Ha!  And I can never trust the Milwaukee VA to mess up the other knee and abuse me while I am there.  I actually fear for my life at the VA! Sorry.... but this is what kind of medical care the USA can look forward to if Barry and the Lefties gets their way. 

So America is OUT OF THE RECESSION, huh?  Always look for some major collapse when the head of the treasury makes such an announcement-- beware!  Personally, I am not out of danger either, and most middle class people will be hurt, IMHO.  This is why, I believe talking/ wasting our precious time with goofy politics is a dead end-- when we SHOULD BE GROWING CLOSER TO JESUS CHRIST, BEFORE the storm!!  And I am talking mainly to CHRISTIANS!  Most of the Church is misled-- if not corrupt, and people just need to get down to basic Bible reading and study, personally, and in small family groups.  It might boil down to '1st Century style' meetings in people's houses, etc., 3-5 families.  I hope that I am wrong about this too.

And although I do have some very good friends-- I know that I can't depend on any human for physical support when I am laid up again from more surgery-- but I must be totally dependent upon the Lord.  That means humbling myself big time and walking in the path of truth and righteousness, and perhaps living like a refugee...lol.   Sorry if this sounds too bizarre and crazy, friends.  I am not trying to freak you out or disturb your sensibilities.  But I was a boy scout [Be Prepared] when very young in Milwaukee, but joined 4-H when we bought the farm in Racine county.  I raised 2 White face Hereford steers [plus many other chores that made me strong in many ways]  and sold them for a pretty penny when I was a teenager, in high school.

Please pray also for my family, mother, etc., who need to know the Lord, and worry they for me now with all the heavy load that bares down on my chest and shoulders.  Things are changing so fast that it makes my head spin and hurt, and now worried about my high blood pressure, and my Mom's too. "Hang on Sloopy, hang on!"

You may ask, 'Who are the real Christians who love God and the Bible above all else?'  Who are the real warriors who choose death, jail and torture, so that they can worship their God in their own way-- according to the full Rights and Freedoms accorded U.S. citizens in America?  The ones who are brave enough to say what they mean, blogging, posting, sharing the GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST with anyone and everyone they come in contact with!!   But wait!  Take a gander at this video below.   BTW, I always keep a copy of our U.S. Constitution on top of my computer tower.

Will This Ship of Fools Sink May 22? By Jan Markell www.olivetreeviews.org May 17, 2011  There's going to be a party given by "heathens and skeptics" and I hope you have no desire to attend it. They intend to get together to mock the rapture. After months of enduring the unnerving dogmatism of Harold Camping's billboards, signs, cars, radio commercials and bumper stickers heralding the end of the world as we know it on May 21, American Atheists have announced that they are planning "rapture parties" in Oakland, Houston, and Fort Lauderdale on May 21-22. The atheists boast of their own billboards which state, The Rapture: You KNOW it's Nonsense. Learn the Truth at our Party." The billboard is designed to knock two millennia of false predictions that the world was about to end. So, they are having a party to celebrate another rapture that wasn't.  And the atheists will be more accurate than the Christians because they are going after the date-setters.   So who's behind the latest date-setting nonsense? None other than false teacher Harold Camping who has led a well organized "We Can Know" campaign for more than a year.  Sorry, Harold. We cannot know. The Bible says that in Matthew 24:36. What can we know for sure will result from Camping's prediction? He will be proven wrong. He will put all who long for the Lord's return in a bad light. This will push many more away from considering end-time issues as they will not want to be lumped into such a questionable category. Church pulpits will grow even more silent on this topic right at a time when a countdown has truly begun and it is nearing midnight. The mockers and scoffers will grow stronger and more vocal. Due to natural disasters, economic tumult, efforts at forming a one-world system, and political corruption on overdrive, people instinctively know something is very wrong. American Atheists President, Dave Silverman, says in a statement, "What distinguishes the latest round of warnings is the sheer scale of 'gloom and doom' over everything from the economy to the environment."  Having been proved a fool back in 1994 with a similar prediction, one would think these guys would learn!  Instead, Camping now insists that Jesus is coming back on May 21, 2011. On that day, true Christians will be raptured and everyone else will come under the judgment of Christ for a period of five months, ending on October 21, 2011.   But Camping states, "God has given so much information in the Bible about this, and so many proofs, and so many signs, that we know it is absolutely going to happen without any question at all.  There's nothing in the Bible that holds a candle to the amount of information to this tremendous truth of the end of the world. I would be absolutely in rebellion against God if I thought anything other than it is absolutely going to happen without any question." Camping is relying heavily on math and the mathematical formula seems known only to him. But Albert Mohler says, "The Bible does not contain hidden codes that we are to find and decipher. The Bible has been given to us in order that we might know the truth, and the truth is clearly revealed in its pages. We are not to look for hidden patterns of words, numbers, dates, or anything else. The Bible's message is plain and requires no mathematical computation for its understanding. The claim that one has found a hidden code or system in the Bible is an insult to the Bible as the Word of God." His disciples are all across America. Recently, Christian friends of mine spent a day doing intense evangelism at a secular Minneapolis/St. Paul outdoor event. Camping's followers were there passing out their own doomsday literature. They would not listen. They were convinced they have a week before apocalyptic events begin. They are seduced. They insist, in this case, that the secret things don't belong just to God (Deut. 29:29); rather, the followers of Harold Camping have been let in on a giant secret. But Jesus himself said in Matthew 24:36, "Of that day and hour knows no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my father only."  What part of "knows no man" do they not get? Isn't all of this just further proof that biblical illiteracy and deception are raging? Rick LaCasse, who attended Camping's September 1994 service in Alameda, said that 15 years later, his faith in Camping has only strengthened. "Evidently, he was wrong," LaCasse allowed, "but this time it is going to happen. There was some doubt last time, but we didn't have any proofs. This time we do." Would his opinion of Camping change if May 21, 2011, ended without incident? "I can't even think like that," LaCasse said. "Everything is too positive right now. There's too little time to think like that." It appears this ship of fools will not sink on May 22, 2011. Camping will likely go back to the drawing board and come up with another sure-fire calculation and some sheep without shepherds will still follow him. But God never rewards the date-setters. If He did, He would show the Bible to be inaccurate and untrustworthy. Jesus is coming again!
