I was happy to learn a bit more about the Holy Spirit in the short article below and thought I should share it with my readers on this nice HOT day in Wisconsin.  I am blessed with Air Conditioning and spent some bucks on the central air and new furnace installation shortly after I bought this 100 year old house about 9 years ago, so I could get closer to Mom in her old age who lives about 12 miles away.  My dad used to say, "People can't have it both ways-- bitch about the cold weather and then bitch about the hot weather."  We didn't have A/C when we were growing up on the farm..Ha!  And Vietnam was not an air conditioned environment, nor AMC/ Chrysler for the next 30.5 years!  I spoil myself a little bit in my senior years because I worked hard all my life and earned it, and don't feel bad or guilty one tiny bit!  But it seems like the so-called "poor" people in the USA who never worked now demand that the Gov't support them in comfort and luxury!  I say:  LET THEM WORK!  

I feel that I am getting better now with less pain and less stiffness but it's still going to be about 6 months before I know the full extent of my disability in walking, etc., even after I lose more weight.  

My good friend, Bill Tippet came over yesterday to visit  with his son, and bought me some fruit, like Bing Cherries, plums, grapes and pears, and that was nice of him.  My new diet is all about eating fruit and drinking pure water-- AND IT WORKS FOR ME!!  Now I just have to keep working and stretching my left knee, leg and calf as much as I can-- according the nice Physician's Assistant that I went to see yesterday at KMH- hospital as scheduled for a Post-Op check up.  Remember that she is the one who took my side when I told the good Dr. Shapiro that they were feeding me RAT POISON in the form of blood thinners Post-Op to prevent blood clots from killing me-- Cumadin and Warferin meds [sp?].  I try to do my research and have a wealth of good, smart friends, who had the same sort of surgery.. lol.

I am happy that I stumbled along [or the Lord lead me to...]  Psalm 73!  I am not unlike other men who forget things and fall off the track of good regimen, growing lax in some important areas.  I forgot about my Ram Dodge appointment today but instead I drove to the doctor that is really scheduled for tomorrow and got those two things turned around... lol.  The Antioch, IL Dodge dealership charged me $153, and 2 1/2 hours of waiting to replace a "sensor" --and as I drove away-- the Engine Light was still on !!  I called them back with that news but they never got back with me...  Some one is going to look foolish at the shop when I have time to return with the same problem.  

The 73rd Psalm is really some hard core, beefy material that hits us right between the eyes, in my opinion.  I could identify with most everything the Psalmist said-- been there-- done that, and glad to have finally matured so that I envy no man!  If my financial situation stays the same, I will prosper and pay off all my bills, etc.  But in my heart of hearts, I know that things MUST get worse [the Bible says so-- Matthew- chapter 24, etc.], because no person or country can continue spending so much, and printing money in the back room while our creditors' interest rates mount and push through the roof!  We can and should, on a personal basis, pay off as much debt as we can-- as soon as we can, and that will lessen the pain in the near future.  And don't worry-- the price of gasoline will go up again. I am looking to ask out/ date a few people as I am getting/ healing better, in the future-- but I remembered my pledge to the Lord, that I will only seek ladies who are real, biblical Christians, already!  I don't want to push or rush things either.  Perhaps there is not enough time left in this wicked system to pursue a relationship, but I can still be friends.  Then again, if people are just too busy with their own lives, and don't have any time for me-- I just write them off my list-- as I don't want to beg or be a nuisence or a  pest.  God has to be number ONE in my own life, or I am just full of hot air and a hypocrite.  Deuce is a great friend and companion-- but his English isn't that good yet...

Well, I am looking forward to the Racine County Fair -- the end of this hot month, and I will still have to use my power scooter.  I still have a real problem with my body, joints and muscles being so stiff in the morning, so that's is hard to just get out of bed!  But the dog gets me up with his cold, wet nose, and I don't want him to have an 'accident in the house' so I do get up right away.  
      I really pity folks that don't have A/C in their houses in this July heat and humidity, but some folks just don't pay their electric bills and have to suffer and cook.  "Eat not the bread of laziness."  And I am tired of supporting the 'other half' who think they should be supported by the State and Federal Gov't while they can somehow afford high end TV's, cell phones, games, PC's, cigarettes, booze, street drugs, and other luxuries.  I think that all the welfare and food stamp recipients ought to take and pass drug tests BEFORE they get the goodies!!  People who have real jobs have to do just that. Disabled Veterans have to do just that! The people on the take  don't have a clue what REAL poverty is in 3rd world nations-- but they will, and when the nation's DEBT gets a little higher-- illegal aliens might have to show more ID and paperwork too for all the benefits they collect.

Hello Friends!
Many of you good people already know that I am also a serious student of healing Herbs for the past 30 years, and I am proud of that admission/ fact.  But when ever- where ever hospital you go to, that revelation always gets a snicker or a sneer from the 'medical community.'  Oh yeah, the docs try to humor you by saying that 'a little Garlic is good for the heart!'  I figure that I would have been dead many years ago if it were not for my knowledge of herbs, fasting, etc., controlling my high blood pressure, in the past!  Apple cider vinegar, with the lees, the "mother" -is very good for us.  The reason for the 'non- medical involvement' is:  "Big Pharma" can't make any serious money on 'natural cures/ herbs!!'  Places like Germany are more advanced and open minded, however, but I don't plan to leave for the Fatherland anytime soon... lol.   Big Pharma never wants to find a CURE for heart disease or cancer!!  They just want to TREAT THE DISEASE AND CONTINUE 'MILKING THE COW !'  And you all thought those shinny white coats were so noble and holy.... Ha!  I just fired an arrogant GP a few weeks ago after he verbally abused me once too often, and things went much better for me ever since!  Being age 62, educated, a Disabled Vietnam Veteran and having good health insurance reminds me that I don't have to take being abused by ANY ONE 'DOCTOR!'  And the "pen is mightier than the sword."  On the other hand, I had high praise for my great surgeon, Dr. James Shapiro and most of the nursing staff at KMH- Kenosha Hospital, in WI. 

      I just ordered 4 more herbs through the mail/ Net today to help me with my swollen joints and muscles, but some friends of mine attribute my soreness to the high humidity and heat in Wisconsin lately.  I sleep just great, but wake up so stiff all over-- and have hardly ever experienced that before.  The below is just another example of the point I am trying to make today, and me thinks that it would also be wise to stock up on our most used/ important herbal remedies in case the electrical grid dies for a while and our doctor dictated 'meds' are not available-- like it happen right here by me a few weeks ago because of a powerful wind storm that paralyzed the cities up here in WI.  That also goes for keeping ice and distilled water on hand in glass gallon jugs too.  I don't trust plastic.... sorry, folks.

I tell you all that Tommy Schuckman had a great day today visiting an old/ new church just so I could meet and visit some old and dear friends!  Sure, the air temps were very high and humid, but when has that stopped people from doing what they need to do/ or want?  I met some beautiful people and some old friends at Southport B.C. about 12 miles from my home in Union Grove, WI, and hope to visit there again sometime soon....  I just hope they can afford to crank up their A/C a bit more for two whole hours...  lol.  A good number of people came up to me and shook my hand before and after the sermon/ service, and that's the way it ought to be!  

My knee, legs, etc., felt kind of sore today, but I been pushing myself to drive around and take care of business and chores, in and out of the truck and getting my power scooter in and out of the truck too.   Walking too far is too hard even with 2 canes to help me, on my body yet, so I will just cut back and rest a bit more.  Getting UP from a sitting position is the hardest part of my day/ regimen.  Yet, I feel that I am making progress and doing well... and now my Mother worries less about me and told me so today... poor lady.  She most love me a lot... lol.  

So, how do you like those '5 sentences' sent to me by my good buddy, Jim Hood ?  I thought that they were pretty fitting and very applicable to our nation right now.  How perfectly TRUE!  I believe that America always took care of their disabled and sick, with mercy and kindness-- but doling out tons of money for every little heart throb, scrape and scratch, entitlement, so-called "disenfranchised" ghetto person who doesn't CARE TO WORK, the Liberal Dims can think of only hurts the nation and helps tear down our economy and infrastructure!! Do the 'self-made poor' who still have plenty of food, color TV, InterNet, with A/C and heat really think that there is a 'money tree' in everyone's back yard-- or do they realize that the "other half" work their buns off to pay their own mortgage, bills and sky high taxes??   This goofy system cannot last much longer, and then we will all be too poor to do anything about anything, and RIPE FOR REAL SOCIALISM IN AMERICA!  We are half way there already!  I wish all Americans could see abstract poverty and misery as most combat Veterans have!  When fathers and brothers have to sell their younger daughters into prostitution and/ or slavery, and can't afford to see a doctor when they get sick... that is the harsh reality of a 3rd world country/ nation.  Vietnam was a great teacher!  It taught us that the real enemy was at home busy pulling the rug out from under US, creating a racial disaster, destroying our once noble society, plus throwing the 10 Commandments out of the doors of courts and schools in America.

I, personally KNOW what the answer is to cleaning up this planet and putting an end to wicked, evil, immoral ways, wars and starvation-- but the majority of earth/ mankind refuses to "kiss the Son-- Jesus Christ."  No, that would make them 'accountable' for their own actions, and the majority WANTS to continue in their sorted, wicked lifestyle, just like ancient Sodom.  What?  Now we even have a 'Gay Pride Month' in America, and man on man marriage in a few states of the union....Ha!  

I am still very joyful and grateful for everything I have, my humble lot in life-- even being alive after the hospital gave me a serious infection in my knee after surgery in June.  PTL.  
Dear Lord, please help me heal so that I can reach and contact more people to share real Salvation of the Gospel and Jesus Christ with them. And bless all my dear friends who already confess your holy name and serve you-- looking forward to heaven.   In Jesus name. Amen.

I can't believe that I almost ran into a huge purple dump truck-- trying hard to avoid 2 goofy women that were in the road who were trying to get to a rummage sale in the country side of WI !  I was startled and thanked God for saving me yet another time-- and I sure don't take these episodes for granted... LOL.  I also have trouble walking longer distances without running out of steam and energy [using only one cane]-- pushing it too far-- too fast.  I feel like I just got to get my chores done and take care of MYSELF.  I was at Walgreen's this morning getting my pictures from the hospital 'visits' and almost had a cow when I saw  stuff like Eucerine cream, for dry feet, etc., more than doubled it's price, and actually, they don't even sell the large containers of the dry skin cream anymore!  I know that from experience-- people will just 'cut back' on products or go without as things get worse.  But... not to worry-- God is in control, and the dawn comes up just after the darkest part of night!  

I wanted to buy some herbs, like Devils claw [for arthritis and sore muscles], Bromolain [from Pineapples], Turmeric, Hawthorn berries [for the heart], but I felt that I would fall down from exhaustion if I 'pushed it' too much, and once I got into my truck with the A/C on-- I just went home.  Been there-- done that. You see-- I have to 'make due' too!  I think that I lost some muscle mass when I was fasting/ and dieting, thus the loss of power right now-- but that's my personal opinion.  In a month or two I might start pumping iron and join a health club again.

I hope you all take a peek at the Vietnam special LINK provided by a buddy-- sent to me, that I felt was important enough to post on my humble Blog.  It's certain still a large part of MY life and thousands of good, loyal, brave, productive American patriots also.  We are dying/ dropping like flies in our 50's, and 60's -- thanks to Agent Orange and PTSD, etc !!   And when it comes time for another Gov't cut-- the Aged and Disabled, and the Veterans will come first to the chopping block.  Hello Barrack Hussein Obama!  And hello U.S. Congress!  You all have a very poor approval rating-- don't make it worse by bleeding us more.
