We have heard that "The Truth shall set you Free."  Free of what?  For one thing, free from the lies of false religion, false prophets, false brothers, false literature, and many "modern bible translations,"  etc.  It's so hard to break away from family influence, inculcated church beliefs unfounded by the Traditions of Men-- rather than what the Bible actually says!  Building on what I said in my last blog post-- finding out that a trusted family member is guilty of a sexual crime, a secret sin, by a teacher, coach, priest, or youth pastor, relative, etc.  The Truth shall set you free, and all you have is to READ IT!  But where do you start if you don't have any knowledge or training??   

'When all else fails-- read the directions'  I tell new Bible seekers to start reading their own copy of the Bible at the book of John, then Romans.  Then just begin anew at the BEGINNING-- Genesis, and move forward!  However, the Gospel, found in the 4 books: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, and I feel that we need to understand the reason for us being here on earth is to, first:  Know, understand and glorify/ magnify  God's name,and praise Him always--confess Jesus as Lord and Savior.  Number two:  Share that great Kingdom News of the Gospel, source of Salvation, Christ being born of a virgin, dying on the cross to save us all from hell -- and therefore going to heaven,  with the promise of going to heaven when we die-- or being taken up in the Rapture by Christ Jesus, ONLY IF we confess Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior.  

The trick is that many false religions preach that we have to ADD something else to complete the 'deal', and that is forbidden.  Revelation 22:18-19, speaks about God adding a plague to those who would add anything more to the Scriptures!  Not one more word needs to be ADDED to the Word-- the Bible!  Those who subtract or add ANYTHING to the pure Bible bring great harm upon themselves and others.  Many of the newer translations are in this category-- and buying an inexpensive copy of the DEFINED KJV Bible will help them see the actual differences.  See:  biblefortoday.org   -- I intend to go there right now after I say good night-- good bye.

Hello Pals and Buddies!
Is it any wonder ??  That creepy old George Soros controls all Arms and Ammo in the U.S. ???  Beware.  I had a woman come over to clean for me some time ago, and she laughed and made fun of some of the things that I collect, and store for emergencies and rainy days.  And I told her that I laugh at folks who drink, smoke and spend money like water when they don't have much of it to spare...and their refrigerator is bare!  And when they also make fun at what the Bible says about these 'Last Days' really ticks me off.  There is a term for that sort of God-abuse -- it's called Blasphemy!    Hey,  I don't want to sound mean spirited, but take a clue from New Orleans during the Katrina disaster and the 'inept blind mice' down there who made a mockery out of everything the Gov't and FEMA were SUPPOSED TO DO RIGHT.  Sorry, I am just a little bit better educated to fall into that trap, or depend on the Gov't to bail ME out.  Don't hold your breath on obama coming thru to save YOUR  day...Ha!!  You will end up with an empty sack.  But just like the world's woes-- God also has a list of grievances that He means to deliver and settle, and He plays for keeps.

It's sort of like exiting a cult... some folks have been in for most of their lives, also like an uncle who continues to abuse his nephews and nieces until he is CAUGHT, or a priest!  You don't want to believe it, but there are so many perverts, cheats, abusers, druggers/ alcoholics out there who are so sharp at their 'game.' You can love a drunk-- but you can never trust a drunk.  
      I am just so happy that now in my life, after I have managed to work out so many 'rough edges' in my life, THANKS TO THE LORD, THE BIBLE AND THE HOLY SPIRIT, to have finally found some one special that loves me for myself, not for what I have.   Perhaps I am stupid for even mentioning it, for fear that it might evaporate into thin air-- Murphy's Law...   Real Christians are so hard to find, too.  I will keep things wrapped for a while and give it time to fully blossom, and who really knows what God has in store in these Last Days, before the 'storm.'  But if I stay true to God-- I will still turn out on top of the game. 

And dear Lord, thank you for taking me to the wood shed so many times in my past to correct me in your KINDNESS-- yet not in your ANGER.  In Jesus name. Amen.

If God knows our hearts, why do we continue putting on the dog and playing some stupid game for mere humans to see?  God's Word may calls some of us Saints-- yet we know that we are still sinners and need Him every day to live and breath.  We want to be 'peaceable as doves, yet cautious as serpents.'  I didn't memorize  so many  bible texts to impress other humans-- but to KNOW what the Word actually says, so I can ponder and reason on these holy things, and I've always thought, what would happen if the Gov't threw all REAL Christians in jail because of our beliefs-- who could stand and encourage the others??  My regret is that I didn't do more, and even though most days are full of arthritic aches, I still have my "tools" and know how to use them effectively.  I was joking with good friend, Bill Tippett today about certain things, but really desire to clean up my act and walk a straighter line.  He has helped me so much this past year when I had NO ONE to lean on!!  Most of my family are not worth a hoot, sorry, except my Mom, and sister Linda helps Mom so much.  

Like I have said a few times, it's easy to go through life with a 'silver spoon' in your mouth, when everything seems to fall into your lap that's good and structured/ guided/ bought for you by mommy and daddy.  But what happens when Satan brings a nasty storm on you like he did to Job, of the Bible?  How will we act under fire and oppression/ hostility, or walk on one leg, or no legs??  I have enough under my belt to write a few books and just might do that... lol.  Just talking about the major mess- ups in hospitals and nursing homes would fill one volume, and my attorney told me that I could write down anything that was true.... ho ho ho... and people might like to know how many times people catch horrible flesh eating diseases and deadly infections while in for routine care and surgery at the local hospitals-- and the blood supply is NOT SAFE, IMHO !!  Pity if America is forced to swallow obama-care!   They just don't know what they are getting into!  Having been with the VA for about 30 years-- I DO!

FaceBook has messed things up by not forwarding all my messages and contacts to me, thank you very much, Big Brother... and so that's why I have been slow to get back with my friends and people, special, well studied Christians web sites that dig deep into Bible prophecy.  Sorry guys.  I might have more time on my hands now because I won't be "hunting and fishing" so much anymore, PTL.   It would also be nice to get my truck back instead of contorting my body into the small 'orange crate' I rented... lol. Seems like my 'ship' has come in, finally.  But we shall let God sort it all out. But for now, I am so happy!

For some 'reason' I feel like I got a shot in the arm that has energized me enough to go back and study more --to seek guidance and wisdom after meeting a friend in Cedarburg, WI., and what a quaint, beautiful little town up North just  North of Milwaukee, loaded with various shops and boutiques that reminded me of Washington D.C. in the Georgetown section on a Sunday.  Sorry, I was getting so negative with gold diggers, selfish, greedy people from the recent past-- that I just about figured all the good, Christian people were gone in my lifetime.  I bet some of you are mindful of my fav. scripture:  "Iron sharpens Iron"  ~Proverbs 27:17.  Point:  When steel sharpens steel it is compared to one man sharpening another, especially a Christian individual-- two well read, studied Christians who know and apply their knowledge concerning the BOOK-- in the most special club/ fellowship/ brotherhood in the universe, with the Holy Spirit much alive and glowing in them!!   And it seems that there is never enough time in a day for those who care about each other.  And always on fire, Old Soldier Tom, I found again that prayer and cracking open the BOOK has calmed me down-- but also a new friend whom I respect so much, seems like I am a whole new man, thank you, Lord.    

Got to soak my Left foot and ankle soon with hot water and Epsom  salt to get the soreness out, and so more soreness don't set in.  That ought to help me big time!    Maybe I can heal up before my next NC-VAMC visit this week.  I am getting very tired of going down there with the long drive and hassle.  But that is also the day when I am supposed to be getting my fine Dodge Ram 4 by 4 back out of the shop!!  I may have to switch things around, and they, the VA, will just have to 'deal with it.'  Time to make some phone calls.   The air temp is: 56 degrees F. with a few clouds, but 'this is the day that the Lord has made.  We can rejoice and be glad in it,' ~Old church song.

What to eat, left over chicken,and I gave a piece to Deuce already, early this morning.   I don't have much of an appetite and maybe I can just eat a few pieces of fruit.

I need to pray for my nephews in combat in the Middle East, Joseph, etc.  My Mom has yet to adjust to her new apartment/ surroundings [she had to move from her place in Burlington, WI., where the management refused to enforce the NO SMOKING rule and was made sick from cigarette and other chemicals blown into the duct system, so she just left, because at the advanced age of 85 and legally blind, she figured she just didn't need the stress-- but we all know how stressful that is!  Moving is frightful for me too in that I would be giving up a lot of spacious room and my dog, perhaps.  But I would be open to moving for the 'right person.'  A few ladies in my life said they wanted a "big guy" who could protect them, as they were abused before they met me. 

Always hanging in the balance is the state of affairs here in the USA and abroad, 'with Israel- the center of the world,' in my humble opinion... and you all know my sentiments on that subject, [see Genesis 12:3].  And I will refer certain web sites full of 'same camp' very smart people with the Holy Spirit who set things straight with the scriptures, something I need to work on, about future prophecy events and everything falling right into place as we speak and post.

It's amazing what a little bit of love, TLC, and human kindness can do to bring out the very best from people-- and treasures of the heart, etc.  I wonder if I have time to write a little poetry...

Huey Lewis & The News - The Power Of Love - YouTube

Believe me, I am NOT complaining-- but we have another warm, sunny, beautiful day in S.E. Wisconsin, and I intend to soak up as much healthy sun as possible, as it helps melt away the psoriasis on my hands.  The rest of my body is not affected, PTL.  Next week I have another doctor's appointment at NC-VAMC [North Chicago] but this time I will check my mileage and timing to see just how long it takes to get down there.  I am hoping that we can all get things somewhat better organized-- and by 'we' I mean: the VA down there.  Man!  Talk about the "Gov't" messing things up...Ha! The more Gov't intervention-- the more chaos, IMHO.  But I refuse to go negative on a great day like today!
    
In years past, I learned a trick from some Ph.,D [that stands for 'Post Hole Digger']  It's calls imagery, and perhaps a form of self hypnosis.  Every time we go to sleep at night-- we use self hypnosis to fall asleep.  Since I have sleep apnea, I studied up on 'Sleep' wanting to learn everything about that subject, since I broke my neck in 1997 because of it and am blessed by the Lord for escaping/ cheating death ANOTHER TIME!  The chances are just too great for me surviving all my accidents, mishaps, plus 2 years of war and battle, being a respected crew member/ door gunner flying in helicopters 7 days a week on my 2nd tour in RVN [the Republic of Vietnam]: 68-70, and yes, I am proud to have 'made the grade' qualifying an aviation physical and joining the good camaraderie of the 240th AHC [Assault Helicopter Company-- out of BearCat, RVN.].  But every good, well studied Christian I know, including the local pastor where I attend, say that, 'God must have REALLY LOVED ME A LOT to have Saved me all those times!!'  And I would have been in hell had I been killed BEFORE I had a chance to be SAVED, confessing Jesus as my Lord and Savior, as a born-again Christian....  Thank you, Lord!  PTL.

Back at the ranch... Imagery:  Is when you focus intently about [perhaps] a most joyful time in your life, or picture a scene from something you've seen, or a picture of a BEAUTIFUL place, maybe some tropical island of happiness with everything you ever wanted... NO WORRIES!  Remember that scene from the "Deer Hunter" movie and the mountains where they were deer hunting??  Smart people can learn how to 'freeze' that moment of time in a special compartment in the back of their minds and then 'summon' it up again when they NEED to.  Not just a day dream.  This can also be used to block pain or horror in our lives.  I have used this method many times and taught others how to do it... and thought that I might help some of you nice people today, and share this fine, important 'tool.'  Doing stuff like this, and also sharing the Gospel, giving bibles away, gives me great satisfaction and pleasure!!  It increases my feelings of  'self worth' and reason for still being on earth, IMO. 

Well, my orange crate, rental FORD ESCAPE, shoe box, GAS TANK IS ON EMPTY, and I need to get some money from my friendly old Credit Union that closed in 2 hours.

I hope that some of my readers profit from reading my humble Blog.  Like I said before, it was recommended by the [smarter and few]  The  VA folks as a good form of therapy for my PTSD, and also increases my typing, verbal aptitude skills, and calms the savage beast.. lol.  Enjoy the golden oldies song: "

What?? Another total screw up again today at the North Chicago VA Hosp!  I came there 3 hours early to see "doctor" Bombay, and he took me 45 minutes LATE and goofed around so much repeating himself and questioning me so  often, and finally wrote a script for some meds that he totally messed up the FIRST TIME  he saw me, last month!!  So when I took them to the in- house VA  pharmacy, I was the very last guy to be served 2 minutes before they closed at 5PM, and they said they could not fill the scripts because the doctor screwed up writing them!!!  Rather then trust those air heads to ship them FED EX, I will probably pick them up after another long drive down there tomorrow, and the IL traffic is a nightmare!  I have never seen so many stupid people in one place at the same time!  I was praying all the time I was there for the Holy Spirit to prevent me from losing my temper with all the incompetence surrounding me.... lol.  Right now, I am thanking the Lord-- and also patting myself on the back, just a bit.  I'll tell you one thing-- if you are going down there for help-- PLAN ON SEEING MURPHY'S LAW in action--big time!  For some reason the "doctor" was happy with my urine sample.... duh.  Well, at least I made myself laugh at my own blog post joke right now..Ha!  In a little bit I will prob be back to 'normal' as I sip a Welche's Grape soda.    I went there early to see the Patient Advocate, just in case there was some trouble, but my communication skills are still quite good... or so I thought.  I have learned to speak slowly to the 'brain dead' folks  down there.  On the other hand I see so many people in uniform-- and that kind of makes me feel at home and happy... and I feel that I can trust and communicate well with them-- my brothers and sisters.  I have not worked up my nerve yet to try the chow... lol, but I always thought that the Navy had the best.   Wait!  I just remembered that I did try their food, and it was all dried out and nasty...Ha!


And then the guards/ valet parking people left for home by the time I got done, and they just so happened to park my rental car [Ford Escape] on the 4th floor of the parking building, and I didn't know.   So I snagged a sailor and he got my keys [with a 'cat-o-nine' whip on it] and  followed him on my power scooter given to me by the VA when I first got there, and he drove it back to his post.... and I thanked him very much for that kindness.   And EVERYONE else I talked to while there told me their own  horror stories about the BS [berry sap] and goofy goose chase- run around they also got at the North Chicago--VA Medical Center.  I just have a sneaky feeling that things will NOT get any better there, and I don't know if I trust that same doctor doing a procedure up [colonostophy --sp?]   my back side....  He just may leave some tools up there!   Milwaukee VAMC doesn't look so bad anymore.

Other than that-- it was a beautiful day!  [Ha!]
   I didn't eat all day, but that's OK, and I need to feed the hound dog now.  It's 6:26 PM and all is well, sort of.  
I was just thinking about really smart men [and women] who are educated in different areas-- besides survival skills and military back ground...  sometimes all the knowledge, skills, talents and education, and even prayer won't stop or cure a BAD DAY.  That old Murphy's Law comes into play and you wonder if it was smart to get up in the morning.  And if a person has a working knowledge of French, German, Latin, Spanish, and some Vietnamese -- along comes a person who is Chinese or Russian.

Every time this year in Autumn, I get a craving for apples and eat plenty to clean out my system.  I love Cortlands, but I also like pears, pineapples, oranges, bananas, strawberries, blackberries, etc.  Who knows that I'll have time tomorrow to buy some good apples.

I left a pocket Bible at the VA today and also gave a Vet one of my bible tracts, so it may not have been a total loss.  Seems to be plenty of old Army guys there so I can at least engage in some intelligent conversation.  We got to stick together and help each other.   If we don't -- who will?  For some odd reason the pay master could not pay me my travel pay because I knew that my 3PM appointment with Dr. "D" would end too late and the pay master closes at 3:30, and then it would be too late to claim my $20 and change, so I told her to mail it to me.  They have a totally different 'system' down there compared to the Milwaukee VAMC.

I am looking forward to tomorrow.

I didn't need a doctor in my prime, being a power lifter most of my adult life-- but a few accidents and hard work forever took some of the 'wind out of my sails'.. and old age.  I am still blessed-- being Saved, and heaven is my home.  PTL.

Does ANYONE see the 'plot thicken' besides most well read, studied, real Christians here about??  If things get  any more apparent they will bite us in the nose... LOL!!  Mean while, back at the ranch, I look on with mild interest at the USA, and daily stock market, slipping ever faster down the slippery slope as the DOW Jones sinks and our miserable economy flounders like a Coho salmon in the Fall trying to swim up steam to spawn, up here in Wisconsin.  We used to catch them by hand like a bear does and have them smoked-- so delicious!!  
     The book of Revelation says that most of earth's population will mourn as things get economically worse, but true Christians KNOW and understand that these times MUST TAKE PLACE before our Lord returns to 'gather us up into the clouds with Him' in the soon coming Rapture!  Just like the old women used to weep every year for the pagan god Tamuz which inspired some modern day pagan celebrations around Resurrection Sunday [Easter to the world...ahem], when our Lord rose from the dead after He was killed by the Jews, using the resident State power, Rome, to accomplish their purpose.  The same thing is happening now days with the ACLU perverting or Constitution and way ward Gov't liberals. 
   Do we all understand that Bible prophecy says that Damascus will be utterly destroyed in the coming war between Israel and her hateful, surrounding Islamic nations [soon]??  Damascus is the OLDEST continuously inhabited city in the world!  Warning!  Do NOT mess with the "Apple of God's Eye -- Israel !!   That includes the good old USA.  
  Folks,  I was very dissatisfied during my visit today at the North Chicago VAMC [hospital[ in IL, feeling like I got jerked around, and I will travel back there tomorrow to get some satisfaction, and you better get up pretty early in the morning to beat Old Soldier Tom.  I admit when I am wrong-- but will fight when I'm right.  Today they took more x-rays of my back, etc., and did 8 vials full of blood work.  The lady who drew my blood was Vietnamese, and we had a good time with my small knowledge of her native language, and I surprised her!  I always carry a few pocket Bibles and some Bible tracts with me when I go there.  An old friend at Victory B.C. gave me 2- dozen more KJV pocket bibles this past Sunday just for that purpose, Chip M... thank you, Bro. Chip.  Always be prepared and LOOK for an opportunity to witness.  How did WE all come to know the Lord??  The stories are always so warm and exciting on this subject, are they not?  I also gave away one "Love the Jewish People" tract, by Chick Publications-- small comic book form.  And everyone always asks me IF I am Jewish...Ha!  I tell them "NO"-- but I wish I were... and I would gladly travel there to help them fight their hateful Islamic neighbors who want to see all Israel dead, because I used to have a professional "Trade" taught to me by the U.S. Army...helicopter machine gunner- M-60... lol.  Ha!  I know I am just a dreamer.  Christians are pretty much commanded by the Lord to sit out this coming fight-- and leave it all up to GOD to 'take care of business.'  Our 'mission' [ the Christian Church] will be over pretty much after the war between Israel --and a good portion of Islam will bite the dust, and then the Rapture cometh.  I would hate to be around after that when the "Man of Lawlessness" cometh -- the Anti-Christ.  So, if you see or hear of me headed the wrong way from here 'till then, drive up to WI and kick my glutious maximus, please.


My Left knee and ankle are sore again because I've been forced to walk more-- without the use of my nifty power scooter still in my truck- in the repair shop.  I NEED the exercise, but not all at once or all the time.  I seem to sleep pretty good lately, and am in search of sun tan treatments... so I don't look so white.   I was out in the sun eating some Popeye's chicken and rice for a while with the Deuce -- old hound dog boy... after I got home from the VA.
  Pray that I have a more speedy recovery and healing, and lose massive amounts of weight, again.  I will go on another fast if I have to.  And if the VA won't see me eye to eye, and be reasonable,  I just may cancel my colon maneuver appointment.  Got to buy some more Cortland apples tomorrow too.  I like a sour twang in apples.  Granny Smith are good too.
   Got to let Deuce outside before I hit the hay.
