If I could be LESS truthful about my past, and also a miser and tightwad... I'd probably do much better with the female species.  Now all of a sudden after much hugging and kissing and promises, my so-called girl friend dumped me and said "it was all over"  because she claims that I was in 'too many relationships  before in my past life' and I have much 'baggage' from combat PTSD- Vietnam, and I try to "buy my friends" with money and gifts!   She is behind on most of her bills with high credit card debt, and don't know how she is going to get her old car fixed, etc, etc., with NO health insurance at age 59 and serious health problems-- which I accepted and brushed off, even offering to marry her so that Chrysler Humana could cover and protect her.   So I offered her $1500 cash to stay afloat and pay off her stuff, or buy the new wedding gown that she was looking at yesterday!    And then she lays all this BALONEY on me and cut me to the heart today after such soft loving kisses in the morning after she called in sick today...  Some women love the money and security but just can't handle a man taking the lead-- or bible headship because of THEIR past baggage with HER Ex, and they just cut you and trash your love in a heart beat.  Oh well,  are we not used to getting used, and dumped on by now, Old Soldier??  AND, I had 7 wonderful years with my passed, dear wife, Sharon, until she died from major heart and lung disease on April 9th, and felt that our marriage was a total success, and we loved each other more than most other will ever know, and I would have traded MY life for hers rather then see her die and endure so much pain!!!  I don't think I was a loser, and my fine wife, Sharon, didn't either!  We thought we would be married until we died, or the Rapture came.  Actually I spoiled Sharon and gave her everything she wanted, and am still paying off her funeral!

Civilians back home want the brave ones to fight their stinking wars and battles, but they don't care to know how we do it!!  I am NOT in that foul a mood, but because I shared my heart felt joy and happiness with too many the last few days, I felt that I at least needed to tell my short story of another whirl wind, one week romance...Ha!   This will just make me trust LESS women and be more guarded in the future...  but right now things will be different in how I relate to wimmins [sic].  And I doubt if I will ever give anyone money again out of kindness, or feeling sorry for them  Let them live in the streets to take some of their egotistical,  arrogant  pride away!   Let them eat dog food!   All I did was tell the TRUTH... and many women LOVE their independence being single, but they end up not being able to pay the rent and every other bill-- without a man!!  When they do get married, they still want 100% of their total independence and don't ever want any male advice... really DO NOT want to do the Bible thing of getting married.  In other words-- they want their 'cake and eat it too.'  Is that what we'd call a weak, selfish "Christian woman?"   And there are always TWO SIDES OF THE DIVORCE Story!!    You can't have it both ways!
I ended up by giving in on many of my points, suggestions, views, and bent over backward-- even thought about selling my house and DOG to be with her up North, in Cedarburg,  but it was all in vain.  But even in the end, she could not dispute that I was a true born-again Christian and a child of God.  I predict that she will NEVER find a man 'good enough' for any kind of serious relationship.  And all of my predictions in the past have always come true-- and all those who have snubbed or hurt me have come to regret it -- NOT that I ever would work harm upon them!  I leave all that stuff up to the Lord.... and He works on my short comings too.  So, IMHO, it's not how much pain we suffer or abuse, it's how we manage it-- and deal with it.  Again, I have learned some important lessons, and am prob better off for them.  I don't know what the future will bring for me, but i do know that I am a lot better off then others.  PTL.

Well,  I am winding down and counting my blessings now, understanding my mistakes and stupidity and thinking that being lonely isn't all that bad after all!  I can only hope that I am a  little wiser now... again, and keep the rest of my relationships completely private and personal.  And I just want to set the record straight-- that real happiness seems to be an elusive butterfly, and only heaven will give us REAL Christians true happiness!

Two fine young men from church who are home schooled by their smart, hard working parents came over this morning to help me lift some huge bags of dog food and also do a few chores for me, as my right fore arm has some kind of tendinitis [in the top flexes] and hurts like crazy today!  Do any of my readers have a suggestion on how to cure or make it feel less painful-- fire or ice??  Nathaniel and Joshua  A, --are the two Bible loving teenagers who helped me so much, and I gave them a small reward-- and they PROMISED to come back and shovel my snow in the Winter time.  Thank you, guys!  And thank your Mom, Amy, too,  for giving them permission to 'cut class' for an hour!  Now that is Christianity in ACTION! 
     I think that I can pick up my Ram 4 by 4 Thursday morn, if I don't pick it up tomorrow some time.... finally.  It better be PERFECTLY repaired and run like new for all the bucks $$$  I am [My Insurance Company] sticking into it.  Grrrrr.  The top of the line Ram 'Big Horn' Dodge is in 'paint' today, and it has my power scooter in the back bed with a cap on it.    I will be so 'on guard' and hyper- vigilant from now on, and a defensive driver.  Again, I believe that the Lord prevented any serious injuries, PTL !   Hey!  I don't BELIEVE IN MIRACLES -- I DEPEND on them -Ha!!  But that doesn't mean I can run like a wild man, as if I was immortal, and speed.  I need to slow down, respect and cherish God's gift of Life!  And the Life of the Unborn, too.  We murder thousands each year in the Good Ole USA!  Hey, the old folks are next...and I hear that many Veterans watch the VA like hawks to make sure they walk the straight and narrow-- and the best way to go is to have you spouse of loved one PRESENT when ever you go to the office and hospital.  Your:  Patient Advocate, and your POA - Power of Attorney!  The doctors and nurses have a whole different demeanor when a Vet has those special friends seeing and hearing what goes on... and rightly so.

Well, folks, you may have guessed that I am 'happy' lately and have more to live for, but I pray constantly for wisdom and good judgement, and sound reasoning to make the best possible choices.  Eccl has so much to say about a "good team of horses" pulling together, and having peace, joy, happiness and reward for their hard work--- and sharing a sacred bond of love.   I think that you will 'see' and read a 'different character' on this humble Blog from now on.  I also think it's hard for other married folks and families to understand the loneliness and plight of the older, infirm, disabled single people who may enjoy their 'freedom' and independence, but it does get lonely for us, me, them, -- especially after I had to bear the loss of close loved ones close in time, and being in the hospital with just a minimum of friends to visit and care for me!    Most men and women don't want to leave their "comfort zones" on a cold Winter's night in Wisconsin-- and who really cares??   Yes, God saw me though it all, but I had to cling HARD to His Word, and get a 'death grip' on my Old Scofield KJV Bible!!  I dated a few "ladies" mostly from different churches, who used me, abused me.. takers and losers, and they all claimed to be 'Christians' but sure didn't act like it, IMHO.  I am an older guy who worked very hard all my life, have some good benefits, etc., own an old 100 year old house in a one horse town, and have acquired some wisdom, toys,  but most of the women were out for what they could GET/ TAKE, and that was all.  Made me feel used and cheated, to tell the truth... and I honestly know that there are evil, self centered, selfish, beasts/ animals of  lust filled men, who act the same way, or worse, dear ladies.   And now I can better understand how the Ladies feel if they are 'good looking' with a great, well built body-- and all the guys just want to 'have her and use her' and then dump her or abuse her, by treating her like a sex object or toy.  Some [many] women are a lot smarter than me and I acknowledge that without any problem.  They are muti-taskers, masters of many endeavors, crafts, skills and professions!  But what really caught my eye and my heart was a true lady/ woman who loves God, and the Bible!!  I could tell that she had the Holy Spirit in her and her life-- and she is the woman mentioned in Proverbs 31, just what a God-fearing  man looks for.  All her good looks were just frosting on the cake!  Praise the Lord, for bringing her to me, exactly when I needed someone close to share my life with-- no matter WHEN the Rapture comes-- two are better than one.  [Simple poetry, huh ?... lol]  I will keep her personal info very secret and private, because I love, cherish and respect her.  And if I embarrass her with this post, I will have to 'pull it'..immediately.  But it's hard to contain all my happiness with this new treasure and 'gift from above.'

All I have eaten all day is apples-- Cortlands!  If I can leave the soda pop alone-- I will be losing a lot of weight again!  Good!

Pray for Israel !!  They are in need of every scrap of prayer that we can muster.  Their enemies surround them with thousands of rockets and mortars, etc., and even the USA [obama and the Libs/ 'Dimwits' in 'Congress have thrown her under the bus!!].  Remember the Promise/ Covenant in Genesis 12:3.

My handsome, dear son, Andy-- dancing with the hound-- 'Deuce', the Rottweiler.  I miss Andy so much....  Lord, please help mend my heart and help me deal with the pain of loss of a child.  This old Soldier would have gladly given his life for his son.    "...for it is written, Vengeance is mine;  I will repay, saith the Lord."  ~Romans 12: 19.  Rest in Peace, my son.

We have heard that "The Truth shall set you Free."  Free of what?  For one thing, free from the lies of false religion, false prophets, false brothers, false literature, and many "modern bible translations,"  etc.  It's so hard to break away from family influence, inculcated church beliefs unfounded by the Traditions of Men-- rather than what the Bible actually says!  Building on what I said in my last blog post-- finding out that a trusted family member is guilty of a sexual crime, a secret sin, by a teacher, coach, priest, or youth pastor, relative, etc.  The Truth shall set you free, and all you have is to READ IT!  But where do you start if you don't have any knowledge or training??   

'When all else fails-- read the directions'  I tell new Bible seekers to start reading their own copy of the Bible at the book of John, then Romans.  Then just begin anew at the BEGINNING-- Genesis, and move forward!  However, the Gospel, found in the 4 books: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, and I feel that we need to understand the reason for us being here on earth is to, first:  Know, understand and glorify/ magnify  God's name,and praise Him always--confess Jesus as Lord and Savior.  Number two:  Share that great Kingdom News of the Gospel, source of Salvation, Christ being born of a virgin, dying on the cross to save us all from hell -- and therefore going to heaven,  with the promise of going to heaven when we die-- or being taken up in the Rapture by Christ Jesus, ONLY IF we confess Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior.  

The trick is that many false religions preach that we have to ADD something else to complete the 'deal', and that is forbidden.  Revelation 22:18-19, speaks about God adding a plague to those who would add anything more to the Scriptures!  Not one more word needs to be ADDED to the Word-- the Bible!  Those who subtract or add ANYTHING to the pure Bible bring great harm upon themselves and others.  Many of the newer translations are in this category-- and buying an inexpensive copy of the DEFINED KJV Bible will help them see the actual differences.  See:  biblefortoday.org   -- I intend to go there right now after I say good night-- good bye.

Hello Pals and Buddies!
Is it any wonder ??  That creepy old George Soros controls all Arms and Ammo in the U.S. ???  Beware.  I had a woman come over to clean for me some time ago, and she laughed and made fun of some of the things that I collect, and store for emergencies and rainy days.  And I told her that I laugh at folks who drink, smoke and spend money like water when they don't have much of it to spare...and their refrigerator is bare!  And when they also make fun at what the Bible says about these 'Last Days' really ticks me off.  There is a term for that sort of God-abuse -- it's called Blasphemy!    Hey,  I don't want to sound mean spirited, but take a clue from New Orleans during the Katrina disaster and the 'inept blind mice' down there who made a mockery out of everything the Gov't and FEMA were SUPPOSED TO DO RIGHT.  Sorry, I am just a little bit better educated to fall into that trap, or depend on the Gov't to bail ME out.  Don't hold your breath on obama coming thru to save YOUR  day...Ha!!  You will end up with an empty sack.  But just like the world's woes-- God also has a list of grievances that He means to deliver and settle, and He plays for keeps.

It's sort of like exiting a cult... some folks have been in for most of their lives, also like an uncle who continues to abuse his nephews and nieces until he is CAUGHT, or a priest!  You don't want to believe it, but there are so many perverts, cheats, abusers, druggers/ alcoholics out there who are so sharp at their 'game.' You can love a drunk-- but you can never trust a drunk.  
      I am just so happy that now in my life, after I have managed to work out so many 'rough edges' in my life, THANKS TO THE LORD, THE BIBLE AND THE HOLY SPIRIT, to have finally found some one special that loves me for myself, not for what I have.   Perhaps I am stupid for even mentioning it, for fear that it might evaporate into thin air-- Murphy's Law...   Real Christians are so hard to find, too.  I will keep things wrapped for a while and give it time to fully blossom, and who really knows what God has in store in these Last Days, before the 'storm.'  But if I stay true to God-- I will still turn out on top of the game. 

And dear Lord, thank you for taking me to the wood shed so many times in my past to correct me in your KINDNESS-- yet not in your ANGER.  In Jesus name. Amen.

If God knows our hearts, why do we continue putting on the dog and playing some stupid game for mere humans to see?  God's Word may calls some of us Saints-- yet we know that we are still sinners and need Him every day to live and breath.  We want to be 'peaceable as doves, yet cautious as serpents.'  I didn't memorize  so many  bible texts to impress other humans-- but to KNOW what the Word actually says, so I can ponder and reason on these holy things, and I've always thought, what would happen if the Gov't threw all REAL Christians in jail because of our beliefs-- who could stand and encourage the others??  My regret is that I didn't do more, and even though most days are full of arthritic aches, I still have my "tools" and know how to use them effectively.  I was joking with good friend, Bill Tippett today about certain things, but really desire to clean up my act and walk a straighter line.  He has helped me so much this past year when I had NO ONE to lean on!!  Most of my family are not worth a hoot, sorry, except my Mom, and sister Linda helps Mom so much.  

Like I have said a few times, it's easy to go through life with a 'silver spoon' in your mouth, when everything seems to fall into your lap that's good and structured/ guided/ bought for you by mommy and daddy.  But what happens when Satan brings a nasty storm on you like he did to Job, of the Bible?  How will we act under fire and oppression/ hostility, or walk on one leg, or no legs??  I have enough under my belt to write a few books and just might do that... lol.  Just talking about the major mess- ups in hospitals and nursing homes would fill one volume, and my attorney told me that I could write down anything that was true.... ho ho ho... and people might like to know how many times people catch horrible flesh eating diseases and deadly infections while in for routine care and surgery at the local hospitals-- and the blood supply is NOT SAFE, IMHO !!  Pity if America is forced to swallow obama-care!   They just don't know what they are getting into!  Having been with the VA for about 30 years-- I DO!

FaceBook has messed things up by not forwarding all my messages and contacts to me, thank you very much, Big Brother... and so that's why I have been slow to get back with my friends and people, special, well studied Christians web sites that dig deep into Bible prophecy.  Sorry guys.  I might have more time on my hands now because I won't be "hunting and fishing" so much anymore, PTL.   It would also be nice to get my truck back instead of contorting my body into the small 'orange crate' I rented... lol. Seems like my 'ship' has come in, finally.  But we shall let God sort it all out. But for now, I am so happy!

For some 'reason' I feel like I got a shot in the arm that has energized me enough to go back and study more --to seek guidance and wisdom after meeting a friend in Cedarburg, WI., and what a quaint, beautiful little town up North just  North of Milwaukee, loaded with various shops and boutiques that reminded me of Washington D.C. in the Georgetown section on a Sunday.  Sorry, I was getting so negative with gold diggers, selfish, greedy people from the recent past-- that I just about figured all the good, Christian people were gone in my lifetime.  I bet some of you are mindful of my fav. scripture:  "Iron sharpens Iron"  ~Proverbs 27:17.  Point:  When steel sharpens steel it is compared to one man sharpening another, especially a Christian individual-- two well read, studied Christians who know and apply their knowledge concerning the BOOK-- in the most special club/ fellowship/ brotherhood in the universe, with the Holy Spirit much alive and glowing in them!!   And it seems that there is never enough time in a day for those who care about each other.  And always on fire, Old Soldier Tom, I found again that prayer and cracking open the BOOK has calmed me down-- but also a new friend whom I respect so much, seems like I am a whole new man, thank you, Lord.    

Got to soak my Left foot and ankle soon with hot water and Epsom  salt to get the soreness out, and so more soreness don't set in.  That ought to help me big time!    Maybe I can heal up before my next NC-VAMC visit this week.  I am getting very tired of going down there with the long drive and hassle.  But that is also the day when I am supposed to be getting my fine Dodge Ram 4 by 4 back out of the shop!!  I may have to switch things around, and they, the VA, will just have to 'deal with it.'  Time to make some phone calls.   The air temp is: 56 degrees F. with a few clouds, but 'this is the day that the Lord has made.  We can rejoice and be glad in it,' ~Old church song.

What to eat, left over chicken,and I gave a piece to Deuce already, early this morning.   I don't have much of an appetite and maybe I can just eat a few pieces of fruit.

I need to pray for my nephews in combat in the Middle East, Joseph, etc.  My Mom has yet to adjust to her new apartment/ surroundings [she had to move from her place in Burlington, WI., where the management refused to enforce the NO SMOKING rule and was made sick from cigarette and other chemicals blown into the duct system, so she just left, because at the advanced age of 85 and legally blind, she figured she just didn't need the stress-- but we all know how stressful that is!  Moving is frightful for me too in that I would be giving up a lot of spacious room and my dog, perhaps.  But I would be open to moving for the 'right person.'  A few ladies in my life said they wanted a "big guy" who could protect them, as they were abused before they met me. 

Always hanging in the balance is the state of affairs here in the USA and abroad, 'with Israel- the center of the world,' in my humble opinion... and you all know my sentiments on that subject, [see Genesis 12:3].  And I will refer certain web sites full of 'same camp' very smart people with the Holy Spirit who set things straight with the scriptures, something I need to work on, about future prophecy events and everything falling right into place as we speak and post.

It's amazing what a little bit of love, TLC, and human kindness can do to bring out the very best from people-- and treasures of the heart, etc.  I wonder if I have time to write a little poetry...
