Well Folks,
I can only say that I wish I could have made it to this assembly, but intend to get the DVD's ASAP, and enjoy at that time.  I bought some more arrows for my new past time -- Archery!  "TOM, the ARCHER !  ... but also very good with the tomahawk and knife throwing,  although I am a peace loving, well studied Bible man who loves the Lord, more than anything in this world.  That's what we [my camp] calls a "Given"  -- taken for granted mentality....  please.  Just like in college Welding Print Reading...  'this symbol shall always represent [what ever]... LOL.  I had some great instructors who loved and understood me -- and my 'back ground.'  PTL.

So... the time frame is definitely winding down before Jan. 1st, when things could realistically CHANGE for better or worse.  Please, friends,  WHAT EVER comes down the pike,  good or bad, our great Lord and Father in Heaven has completely in His control and "ALLOWS" things to come about --- using and directing circumstances to suit HIS Prophetic purposes and design!  He ALLOWS things to happen for a REASON!  Consider:  Things may be so close to the hour of time that Jehovah God, the Father, wants to unleash His holy angels to wake up the entire earth now!  We should/ ought to know by now that the RAPTURE could happen at ANY TIME!  Or there just might be a few thousand more people that He wants to get Saved/ Understand the Gospel, and be with Him forever in Heaven.  

 Since WE don't know exactly when things will explode, we need above all:  TRUST, LOVE, PATIENCE.  For those of us who worked hard all our lives, saved and invested SOME money, etc.,  we can wait.   But what about those poor Christian rotting in some filthy prison cell, with rats and vermin to entertain them instead of good books and TV --- they are more than ready to meet their MAKER!!    Perhaps the young and fit people who just got married and have what they want...  God could wait for a while, but only HE will come for US when he is ready, and in a "twinkling of an eye !"

Many thanks to the faithful men and ladies who continue to email and call me on the phone...  for I know that you are all super BUSY, doing the Lord's work, with your families and making a living-- even in this poor economy that humans are messing up on purpose, I believe, so that so that they can assume power, a "New World Order," with just the rich, and the poor....  NO Middle Class.  How evil and sinister!  I already voted for the lesser of two evils ---the natural born AMERICAN who has a pretty blond wife -- like mine  --- but even if one candidate was true and good, how in the world could he turn things around right now.  There will be pain either way, and I honestly don't see any real Christians in the crowd....  sorry.   

So, again I will say and encourage:  "TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL THINE HEART;  AND LEAN N OT UNTO THIN E OWN UNDERSTANDING.    IN ALL THY WAYS ACKN -OWLEDGE HIM, AND HE SHALL DIRECT THY PATHS.  7. BE NOT WISE IN THINE OWN EYES:  FEAR THE Lord, and depart from evil."  ~Proverbs 3: 5-7   KJV, of course...

YOU ARE DEFINITELY NOT ALONE !!!

Even I have to get back on track one in a while, and the Brotherhood of bible loving Christians all over the world is there to reach out and touch someone, who NEEDS a hand up, help, encouragement and Love.

Here is a picture of my two lovely daughters [Sarah and Barbara]  who attended my 50th Birthday party...   a milestone for a Vietnam combat Veteran :  68-70... lol.  Sorry to say, that I have seen too many of my buddies die BEFORE THE AGE OF 50... from Agent  Orange, broken hearts, PTSD, etc., while the Gov't and American people just stood by,  refusing to lift a finger.   
There are still way too many combat Veterans living in a cardboard box/  Homeless!!  That is another one of my "causes" that It's so fine to hold my wife, Terri's hand, when we do sit down to rest and  'shut down the machine'-- the work day, or study God's Word together.. and that makes me very happy!!   Hey!  Don't go to Heaven alone ---  take someone with you !      PTL.

Do you have a gun in your House?

When I had my gangrene gallbladder taken out and spent 10 days in the hospital for what should have been an overnight stay the insurance company kicked me out. I had home nurse visits for two weeks and was asked if I had guns in the house. I respond that if I did I would not tell them. So the below has some merit.

FYI, I am passing this along...there are comments from two other people that have also been asked if they keep guns in the house.

The nurse just kinda slipped it in along with all the other regular questions. I told her I refused to answer because it was against the law to ask.

Everyone, whether you have guns or not, should give a neutral answer so they have no idea who does and who doesn't. My doctor asked me if I had guns in my house and also if any were loaded. I, of course, answered yes to both questions. Then he asked why I kept a loaded gun close to my bed. I answered that my son, who is a certified gun instructor and also works for Homeland Security, advised me that an unloaded, locked up gun is no protection against criminal attack.

The Government now requires these questions be asked of people on Medicare, and probably everyone else.

Just passing this along for your information:

I had to visit a doctor other than my regular doctor when my doctor was on vacation. One of the questions on the form I had to fill out was: Do you have any guns in your house?

My answer was None of your business!!

So it is out there! It is either an insurance issue or government intervention. Either way, it is out there and the second the government gets into your medical records (as they want to under Obamacare) it will become a major issue and will ultimately result in lock and load!!

Please pass this on to all the other retired guys and gun owners...

Thanks, from a Vietnam Vet and retired Police Officer: I had a doctors appointment at the local VA clinic yesterday and found out something very interesting that I would like to pass along. While going through triage before seeing the doctor, I was asked at the end of the exam, three questions:

1. Did I feel stressed?

2. Did I feel threatened?

3. Did I feel like doing harm to someone?

The nurse then informed me, that if I had answered yes to any of the questions, I would have lost my concealed carry permit as it would have gone into my medical records and the VA would have reported it to Homeland Security.

Looks like they are going after the vets first. Other gun people like retired law enforcement will probably be next. Then when they go after the civilians, what argument will they have?

Be forewarned and be aware. The Obama administration has gone on record as considering veterans and gun owners potential terrorists.

Whether you are a gun owner, veteran or not, YOU"VE BEEN WARNED !

If you know veterans and gun owners, please pass this on to them. Be very cautious about what you say and to whom.

A good Army friend who served in the same fine, well known, respected combat Aviation [Helicopter Company], the 240th AHC @ BearCat, RVN, sent me this wonderful educational, Constitutional Reader.  THANK YOU, Jim !!  I love to get cool, interesting, email like this that I can use and share!  I believe that Bro. Jim is also a Bible scholar with plenty of wisdom to share, and correct me with, in a kind, respectful way, of course.  Thank you, again.

And this morning, my dear, pretty wife, Terri surprised me with a gift....  a stainless, silver colored Cross with some Gold pounded into part or it, to hang around my size large, power lifter's neck.  Thank YOU, Honey!!  How sweet and tender you are to me, even when I act the jerk...  
     I promised to carve her fav. Scripture into wood today:  '--- let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath...'  ~James 1:19.  And the next verse, 20, says, "For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God."  That's cool, and meaningful.   Hoo -Rah! 

Well, my back is shot and my Left wrist is sprained, but I will manage, because today/ this evening is a special time at church, with a great speaker/ Evangelist, Brother Coffee, and his wife, visiting our small country church with big time encouragement!  I promised that I would be there on his last day of visiting us for a week.  He is a nice, pleasant, no non-sense guy, who has many experiences to share with all of us.  He had some wild, woolly times in his younger days -- but finally woke up to be Saved and Serve the Lord, and his fellow man.  Big blessings to them both in their future!! 

Not too far North of us--Marquette, MI got some snow the other day, so we know we are already in that season when we start using the furnace to keep warm -- when needed, and wear heavier clothes U.P. here.   We were happy to shop down near Milwaukee, WI., to get Terri some nice clothes to wear up here, and I bought a bow and arrow!  The deer U.P. here are eating Terri's hard work of planted trees, bushes and flowers all Summer long!  I just happen to be a butcher, trained on the farm by my Dad, when I was a teen ager, and the immersed myself in books to learn more.   I DID NOT want to be a 'Jack of all Trades'  -- but wanted to be a "MASTER OF ONE TRADE'  -- and so I went to college twice to become a professional welder.   But now I find out that the cheap companies WANT a man who is multi- skilled to do 3 or more professions all rolled into one!!!   So they can save money without hiring the proper, correct workers and pay the money and health care insurances.  What cheap, selfish people!  So, instead of hiring ONE welder who reads blue prints, etc....   they want a welder, mill wright, pipe fitter, and electrician, all rolled into ONE!   Well... heck, do I have to clean the toilets and wash dishes too...LOL ?  I am a good, trained, experienced welder, light carpenter, wood carver, etc... and sorry I am NOT a plumber, electrician, mechanic and every thing else some women WANT me to be...Ha!   Actually, I freely admit that my WIFE is more skilled and talented than I will EVER be!!  She is so savvy and knowledgeable from working hard at Home Depot, and also has a degree in Accounting, and is ten times the carpenter I will ever be, no matter what.  She is a great boon and prize to me, and I love her to pieces.   PTL!

Sorry, folks,  I have the bad habit of 'wandering' and getting lost when I write my Blog, on a different subject.  I love to write and have been published in various news papers in the past. I love to witness and share the Bible, and Tracts with people I meet almost every day, albeit, my mind wanders sometimes and drifts to other topics of interest.  I vividly remember my welding and blue prints instructors in college wandering off too -- but teaching us valuable lessons in life that will always stick in our brains... at least the older Veterans in school, who DID NOT fall asleep in class all the time, because they were too hung over from parties last night, or what ever.   Older, mature students are notorious for being good, serious students who WANT and NEED to learn trades, etc., to better themselves [kind of like Republicans and Conservatives]... [smile].  

I can't believe that it's 1PM already, and MY WIFE IS NOT HOME YET, from her 'chores!'  We don't have to dress up too much for the Wednesday night prayer meeting. but it's good to get into a right frame of mind and not over load ourselves today with too much other stuff.  We also need to both go to the Iron Mountain VAMC today to register our POA [Power of Attorney] in case something happens to me, Terri will have full control of everything, so she can continue and survive.  God wants us to live at least a semi-normal, good, healthy, and ORDERLY life style.  But let me please say that:  'Winners Win  -- and Losers Lose!"  And... according to the Psalms, God will never allow his true servants to 'beg for bread' or starve to death.  But, in America, at least, most of us are over weight anyway and could stand to skip a few meals  ... LOL, especially ME.  Hey, it's good to laugh at yourself sometimes.  I love to laugh and have a good time with my friends that I am constantly making U .P. here in the frozen tundra.  For the most part, these are humble, down to earth folks/ people with a high, rate of combat Veteran population, and that only gives me a hand up in having something special in common...  PTL.   Also, many I meet are un-ashammed, Bible loving Christians U .P. here!   The only problem/ challenge I see is scheduling... as many of them still work  -- but I am blessed enough to be totally retired [also unfortunately being DISABLED....grrrr]...  thanks to the Milwaukee VA hosp, staff and 'doctors' for messing up the surgery-- Right knee replacement, a year and a half ago...   so now I have one leg shorter than the other!!!!  which translates to also giving me twisted back and additional pain!!  ... And please know that I will NEVER, EVER let those butchers cut me again!!!  Their knife work is terrible, IMHO!   The 3rd shift VA nurses just happened to be 99% Black/ African-America and big time prejudice against white folks, and they abused me and let me lay in my on dirt for FIVE DAYS without once cleaning me or helping me relieve myself in the 3rd shift darkness--- but lied and fabricated false charges against me instead.... and please know that they did the same to other decorated Combat Warriors!  But I know that many other Vets were afraid to complain or lodge charges against the Black Nurses there for fear of reprisals, etc., and I can't blame them too much.
        They [the Milwaukee VAMC] GAVE ME BIG TIME NIGHTMARES, and got my combat PTSD re-called and working well, thank you very much, and sure spoiled the rest of my retirement, and freedom of mobility.  I just don't think that I have enough time to sue them before the Rapture comes-- first.   But nothing can suppress my power and ability of posting the absolute TRUTH of what happened of that terrible experience of that painful surgery two Summers ago, and my poor, loving wife, Sharon, was in the nursing and rehab place @ Kenosha, WI., at the time, fighting her own battles of a slow burn dying heart, etc... that she lost that battle and passed away months latter and left a big hole in my heart on April 9th.  My dear, only son, Andy [Andrew Thomas Schuckman] was killed on ONE month later, May 10th, 2011, to rip and rend more flesh in my heart-- a double whammy!    The hurt was so bad that I wanted to die too.
      The finest, kind, warmest lady, and good looking came along months later to love, honor, obey, and bring me back to the land of the living, Terri M. [Fox] Schuckman, my pretty, beloved wife, is something very special -- something I don't think I deserve-- but a present from the Lord.  Thank you, Lord!  I will do my best to keep her happy, respected, loved, and comfortable.    It's a wonderful thing to sleep with a warm human being, also Christian, instead of just an Army blanket to keep  you warm on a cold night...  and she loves to be held and told that someone LOVES her for whom and what she is, no matter what comes rolling down the mountain, 'till death do we part.'   It makes one feel good to face the future partnered up with another strong human being, well studied in the Bible, the Word of God.  And now I also have a trusty bow and arrow to defend hearth and castle, in case the enemy [ Big Brother-- Obummer, and the Dims] demand my shotgun or my soul...].  But whom ever God allows to take office in January, we know that the 'End has got to be near'  albeit we are not fair weather warriors -- but shall continue to stand and fight for our Rights and Beliefs.  Amen.

Terri will be in good hands, and in good shape, no matter what comes down the pike, and I just have that feeling, without posting more sensitive, personal information about our finances and investments.  Thank You, Lord, for giving me [us] the smarts and education to take care of ourselves -- but mostly the knowledge that 'being good stewards of our money and resources' is only part of the program.  Obeying YOU, Lord, is what really gives us a true sense of Security and Trust!

I am so happy that my wife mailed in person, down by the Post Office [the first time I ever did things like this...] MY absentee vote for President, early!!  Wow, this kind of voting was new to me, and I had to fill out more paper work, but I feel so good now!  Yes!  I voted for the gentleman who was legally BORN IN THE USA, for sure, who is a Conservative, who loves the U.S.Constitution and laws within it, who has the experience and education of running REAL companies and corporations...  Gov.  Mitt Romney!   So, just maybe, I won't need my bow and arrow... Ha!   PTL.

If my blog posts are not directly mailed to you --- you must learn how to 'capture' them and put them into your 'favorite places' on  your own PC!  That's what I have to do if I want to regualrly view other peoples' blogs too. 

Have you ever heard of 'community responsibility?'  That is a collective guilt that becomes our own IF we don't take a side, or vote for a particular candidate who does not honor God in the proper way, or does evil, questionable things that have later big, dire consequences.  It's also called 'guilt by association.'  If you run with a pack of animals -- you are bound to get their fleas, etc.  "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers:  for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness?   and what communion hath light with darkness?"  ~2nd Corinthians 6:14.  In other words, if we vote for someone who does NOT respect the Bible and God's laws, and then our country takes a tail spin into every nasty, wicked development, like "legal abortion on demand,"  immorality, corruption, the Gay agenda, and high crimes, those who put the person in office are to some degree at fault!! 

The ancient Israelites wanted their own king so bad -- just like the heathen nations surrounding them-- so God gave them King Saul, and look what happened after that !!  They began experiencing suffering woes and defeats in battle with the Philistines, etc.  Oh well....  We CAN learn from just studying the Bible, which for the most part is written on a 5th grade level...   Some folks regard their constant fixing their houses and making them "beautiful' all year long -- while forsaking the basic truths of the Bible!   The husband is responsible for teaching his wife and kids-- the BIBLE!  We watch TV until we fall asleep every night -- but just can't push ourselves enough to sit thru an hour long bible study!  And then we don't know or care enough to vote for the 'lesser of two evils' when election time comes.  God will hold all of us accountable and ask us why we cannot SIT UP STRAIGHT for one lousy hour of bible study!  Shame.  I am NOT preaching a sermon here -- just stating the cold hard facts.  Amen.

I was happy to watch Gov. Romney beat  Prez obummer around like a red rubber ball in their first debate. Go Mitt !  He may not be a Christian in the strictest sense, but he is a lot closer to the Bible than the illegal alien sleeping in the WH!!  Sorry, that's the way I see things today.

And now I will vote per absentee ballot, to make SURE that my vote is counted.    The choice is very simple, as I am a Conservative, educated, Christian, Pro-Constitution, Pro-Life, Pro-Gun, Pro-Freedom, Disabled Vietnam Veteran: 68-70....Chrysler Retiree.

The Bible tells us that city of Damascus will be leveled in ONE NIGHT!!  This article could better explain the reason that God will allow this.  He protects the "Apple of His Eye --Israel." 

It's another beautiful, sunny day U.P. here where I live, and I am happy the Lord is allowing us a real Autumn this year, with the trees turning such pretty colors in the Great Northern Woods!!  Harvest time on our farm and our farm community when I was younger was hard work, but we had a true sense of 'bounty' in reaping the grains, corn, hay, beef cattle that we raised all year. Apple cider and plenty of apples to eat were the Hallmark, and High School Football was center.  I had such good friends and early loves in high school, but still studied hard to do something special with my adult life.  And I can tell all the younger folks still in school now -- to STUDY HARD to build a better life for yourself and your family!   Of course all that study will do you little good unless you are Saved by the Ransom blood of Jesus Christ, for we know not when our Master returns.  And, of course, the Rapture trumps everything. 
According to my wise pastor, that Rapture could come at ANYTIME!  Before I thought that the war between Israel and Iran/ Syria had to come first -- but I was ill informed. 

Maybe folks think that I could be wrong again!  Perhaps....  but... once a soldier-- always a soldier, and my 'camp of Believers' don't believe in taking any chances, or falling asleep at the switch.  YOU DON'T SLEEP ON GUARD DUTY!  Period.   

That said, just think about all the opportunities that we have every single day that we meet people-- and could easily hand them a great Bible tract explaining true Salvation through Jesus Christ, our Savior, with
 nothing to buy!   I gave one to a young lady/ clerk at the grocery store yesterday, along with a tip $.  She promised that she would read it.

Syrian chemical weapons sites revealed as defector adds new details on regime’s plans to use nerve gas

Rebels in Syria have disclosed new details on the Damascus regime’s chemical weapons storage sites, as a military defector last week outlined plans by Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad to use the deadly arms.

U.S. intelligence agencies recently reported on several chemical arms sites in Syria that were revealed in five YouTube videos uploaded to the Internet in July, according to officials familiar with the recordings.

The posting of the videos coincided with the defection in July of Maj. Gen. Adnan Sillu, head of Syria’s chemical arms forces, who told Britain’s Times of London newspaper that Assad will use the arms to stay in power and that his regime has discussed handing over some of the weapons to the Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah.

The five rebel videos use Google Earth maps software to show chemical arms storage and production plants—some hidden in underground bunkers—and Scud missiles armed with chemical warheads, according to U.S. officials who have analyzed the videos.

They are likely to be used by U.S. or Israeli military planners in any future attacks designed to eliminate Syria’s chemical arms stockpiles.

Israel’s military said in June that it would be forced to act against Syria to prevent advanced rockets and chemical arms from falling into the hands of terrorists like Hezbollah.

The 10-minute-long videos were judged to be accurate by U.S. officials in describing suspected hidden Syrian chemical facilities.

One video reveals a major chemical weapons facility in the downtown area of the Syrian capital of Damascus located a short distance by underground tunnel from al-Mazzeh military airfield in southwestern Damascus.

The tunnel can accommodate tractor trailer-sized trucks and exits several buildings on the base. An Arabic-speaking narrator on the video shows the path of the tunnel leading to an underground storage area north and east of the airfield.

The narrator said the roof of the bunker includes 45 feet of reinforced concrete designed to withstand a strike from U.S. Tomahawk missiles. The facility is said to contain a variety of chemical weapons, from hand grenades filled with the blistering agent mustard to chemical weapons rockets of differing sizes.

The video shows an aircraft runway near the facility, which is called Zone 86, and housing used by senior Syrian military officers and members of the paramilitary Shabiha.

The video also states that a building near Saraya traffic circle is a residence for foreign technicians from Iran and North Korea.

The Sanid News Network, a pro-rebel news outlet, posted the videos online.

A second video reveals what is believed to be the largest storage facility for Syria’s biological and chemical weapons, located in a residential area north of Damascus between Al-Tal and Aysh Wurur.

Roads are identified in the video that lead to tunnels built into mountains that stretch 1,500 feet inside the mountain and are hardened against attack.

The narrator of this video, identified as Abu Saqr, stated that he has been inside one of the tunnels that had separate storage rooms sealed with heavy metal doors.

Among the chemical agents stored in the bunker are mustard agent and cyanide and nerve agents Sarin, Tabun, and the ultra-lethal VX nerve agent.

The reported biological weapons at the facility include weaponized “bacteria and viruses” that can be transmitted to populations through food, water, and soil.

The video narrator also asserted that Iran is storing enriched uranium in the underground facility.

A third video around eight minutes long purports to show a Syrian chemical weapons factory located near al-Dumayr.

The factory is located east of al-Dumayr on the north side of a highway underneath an earthen berm 30 to 45 feet high. Roads are shown exiting the berms, and camouflaged tanks are nearby.

The plant has a high wall around its perimeter and, according to the video narrator, is operated by Iranians and North Koreans.

An underground storage facility is located nearby the plant.

Another of the rebel videos includes images of Syrian short-range Scud missiles at a base southwest of al-Qutayfah that the narrator asserts are armed with chemical weapons warheads. The missiles are shown loaded on trailers with a nearby underground storage facility for the chemical arms.

The last video uses Google Earth to identify what it claims to be an underground chemical weapons factory near the military airbase at al-Nasiriyah. It was described as an underground chemical weapons production facility and research center.

The Syrian defector, Maj. Gen. Sillu, stated in the interview published Sept. 19 that he took part in leadership discussions about using chemical weapons against civilians.

“We were in a serious discussion about the use of chemical weapons, including how we would use them and in what areas,” Sillu said. “We discussed this as a last resort—such as if the regime lost control of an important area such as Aleppo.”

Sillu said the meeting held at a Syrian chemical arms center five miles south of Damascus prompted him to defect because he opposed the use of the deadly arms against the population.

Sillu, now residing in Turkey, also said the Syrian regime considered handing over chemical weapons to Hezbollah.

“They wanted to place warheads with the chemical weapons on missiles—to transfer them this way to Hezbollah. It was for use against Israel, of course,” he said.

The Damascus government in the past had opposed supplying chemical arms to Hezbollah over concerns about the fallout from arming the terrorist group, he said.

“Now, if they have nothing to lose why not share these weapons? If a war starts between Hezbollah and Israel it will be only good for Syria,” Sillu said.

Sillu said members of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps took part in meetings on chemical weapons.

“They were always coming to visit and to advise. They were always sending us scientists and bringing our scientists to them,” he said. “They were also involved on the political side of how to use the chemical weapons.”

The CIA in the past has said that reports of Syrian development of chemical and biological arms were exaggerated.

In 2003 the agency blocked congressional testimony by then-Undersecretary of State John Bolton that was to express new concerns about Syrian chemical and biological weapons.

Since that time, the Syrian program has continued to grow.

Israel also attacked a nuclear plant in Syria at al-Kibar that was being built with North Korean assistance.
