Good Day, Friends,

     I regret that I sometimes slip up and post things that are too personal,  that reach into my private, personal life.   I have feelings too and have gone thru some very rough times even lately,  and I am sure that some of it spills onto my posts....  perhaps bitter feelings of  deep emotional hurt,  that I want to share --- get it off my chest,  but these things are perhaps better left UN-SAID,  kept out of this public blog/ journal.   I am sincerely sorry if I hurt anyone with my words.  But also bare in mind that I may not even be referring to certain people who MIGHT THINK I am aiming at them...  but the very subject matter that I talk about frequently could be something that is close to your own heart or sensibilities.   Please give me the benefit of the doubt, instead of building a case against me.  And,  dumb old sinner that I am....  I make mistakes all the time,  every day of my life.  Sorry about that.   And isn't it a wonder that Father God still loves me ??   Terri,   I am sorry if I hurt your feelings and said something that hurt you, and will try harder not to let that happen again, sweet heart.  Won't we all be happy when the Rapture comes and takes us all away, to a nice, safe place....    God bless all Believers !   

    Talk about something DEEP INSIDE, the very core of someone's personality,  the TRUTH, is what I want to address today, if possible.   First of all,  we are ALL SINNERS.   Just reading the powerful book of Romans will clear that matter up really fast.   'for all have sinned and fallen short of perfection...'   And to some extent we all lie.   But to lie about something important and BIG,  that is where people get into trouble.   Telling a lie can get someone killed or put away in prison !   Now...  there are ways to get at the truth,  but do we want to hang around people we cannot even trust some of the time ??   Personally,  I would rather put up with a whole host of other personality flaws than be around a dang LIAR !!   Like I say,  a liar can and will get you into trouble.   Even lying about the structure, ability, strength of a product,  like a tool, car, truck, can be deadly,  for instance, if a car is made with a gas tank wrongly mounted too far in the back....  might blow up and kill the driver if that car ever gets 'rear-ended' in an accident.   And so,  those who claim that the vehicle is "safe" are not telling the entire truth !!   But who goes to jail ?   No body !   
    The same thing but to a lesser degree is,   when a friend asks you for some money for fuel/ gasoline,  but other wise spends the money on something else later,  weather pre-meditated or not  is dishonest, too !!   If they decide to spend the money on food, pets, smokes, drugs or booze,  it's a LIE !!   What ever their reasoning,  it's still a lie.   

"Am I therefore become your enemy,  because I tell you the truth ?" --- Galatians 4: 16.   

    And so we end up visiting the old term:   Priorities,  again, and again.    PRIORITIES !   If 2 different men work at the same place,  and earn the same amount of money,  but one of them saves and invests about 20% in a smart place investment,  but the other just drinks his paycheck up at the corner tavern every night,  who is to blame when there is an emergency ???    If the one neighbor buys a truck and gets his family out of Dodge right before the flood comes and into a place of higher ground and safety,  who is to blame for the drunk whose family got "Left Behind ??"    

Sorry,  Folks,  but I just don't believe in LUCK !   Smart, wise people "make their Luck."   With the right foundation,  that is to say,  the Bible, that teaches us right and wrong,  also all about Jesus Christ, His life and death for all of us to know,   and follow.   

So,  here are 2 simple questions:   Do you have a copy of the Bible ?   Have you read the Gospel and the book of Romans too  yet ??

Many do not like what is considered Trump's abrasive personality, others are questioning his commitment to Christianity. In fact, many of the same back and forth reasonings are taking place about this election as in the past. Keep in mind that one of the primary reasons we have had two terms of an Islamist Marxist as "president" is due to Christians sitting out the election. Over-spiritualizing this election can multiply the results of the past 10 years. Sitting on the sidelines and allowing another "progressive" to hold the oval office will have dire consequences. Forthcoming, is a hard word for your consideration. Some blame the choice of candidates for not wanting to vote. Frankly, Christians have been disengaged in the candidate selection process since the Reagan years, when we were very active locally in choosing good candidates. Instead of seeking self-improvement inside the four walls of the church, another route may be to engage outside the church in our communities. This may result in having a say in the type of candidate who runs for office. Notwithstanding, people may be wising up to how candidates woo Christians at election time with nice "Christianese" words, hoping upon hope that citizens will overlook their ineptness in office. In the past it has worked. Maybe not this time. Politico writes of the Nevada caucuses, "For the first time in the 2016 primary season, media entrance polls showed that a majority of voters, 57 percent of Nevada caucus-goers, said they were "angry" with the federal government. And, as significantly, they want to bring in an outsider to fix it. More than three in five caucus-goers said they favor someone from outside the political establishment rather than a candidate with political experience as president." Let us remember that God uses whom he uses. Cyrus, for example, was open to God's plan and was able to get things done that God's own people were unable to do. That's not to say that its OK to choose evil over good when we have the choice. But we do have a choice and as Christians we should exercise that choice wisely. I know this is a hard word, I'm just the messenger. Candidates who have spent their lives in politics, holding elective office, are part of the problem. In reality, there has been no EFFECTIVE opposition by any of the office-holding candidates to the things that matter most to Christians. Lip service, yes. Effective action, no. So now, when they want your vote, they come by with all sorts of evangelical words designed to con your vote. Candidates say, for example, they stood in the gap for God's plan of traditional marriage when, in reality, they did nothing effective. They are not leadership quality if they couldn't step out and truly stand on their convictions, but want to make you think they did. Jesus said in Matthew 7:16, "Ye shall know them by their fruits." What a beautiful day, with fog and light snow !  
     Not only did I hurt my back....  pulled a muscle in my lower back.  And then  latter misstep-ed  and fell  down out side and skinned my poor little hands and knees.    The main reason I am telling you all about this is because the bible tells us that " Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor.  For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow....."    ----Ecclesiastes 4: 9 and 10.   And it just so happened that 2 strong gentlemen helped me get back up on my feet.    I thanked them more than once.   

Some folks tell me to just live alone, enjoy my retirement years and have fun.   But from all my studies in the Bible and other books,   'Man was not meant to live alone.'    Just read Genesis Chapters, 1,2,3, etc.     Genesis, Chapter 2, verse 18,  says:   "And the Lord God said,   it is not good that the man should be alone,  I will make him an help meet for him."    [now... down at the bottom in footnotes in my nice Bible, it has some help here for us:  help means:  a helper.  And Meet, means a suitable, proper, fitting.]   Visit:   biblefortoday.org    [to get the DEFINED KJV Bible  !   What a great tool that helps you learn the bible better !!]      And I am sure that this rubs many women and feminists the wrong way ! !     Now,  either we take the WHOLE, ENTIRE WORD OF GOD TO BE FAITHFUL AND TRUE...  or not !!   Friends,  you can't have it both ways!   Satan wants to put huge blocks in the way of good, successful, marriages, and break them up !   

I can tell you all one thing for sure....  if the Bible says that the ONLY grounds for divorce is ADULTERY,  that is exactly what it means,  no matter who much some people try to twist, turn, squeeze, manipulate, truncate  it !   Oh,  I know how many woman [and men] love to embellish the facts, just like the movies of soap operas,  to gain sympathy from their friends,  and many 'churches' now days just go along with:   "Anything Goes,"  now days.   But the Bible fact remains.     If this subject matter offends or 'stings' some people's delicate ways or notions,  sorry.   More often than not,   many divorces now days are just an expedient  method of getting rid of an "inconvenience,"  that is to say,  the Bible !    Jeremiah said that the "heart is treacherous .....  who can know it."   
     Yes,  feelings are involved, and the hurt is great.   And no matter how many times a man makes the same mistake,  it still hurts, plus all the misused funds, cash,  $$$, gifts and broken promises.    Romans 12: 19, says,   "Vengeance is mine,  I will repay, saith the Lord."     If I am really the Christian that I say I am,  The Lord will take care of everything.   
    But,  I may be shifting my sails to travel in a Southern fashion, and may be looking for other hunting and fishing spots soon.   Time to pray again for guidance and  direction.    IMHO,  there is not much holding me up here any longer....  except that I am paying down my debt faster with low over head right now, pumping iron,  getting back into shape.... slowly and resting up.   

And please, also pray for my friend,  Annie,  who just had knee surgery  today,  and now on the mend.   ]

Information provided by US Diplomat Gregory Hicks, who on that night was dealing with the attack 600 miles away in Tripoli, indicated that the several military options available were purposely told to stand down by Hillary Clinton's State Department and the Pentagon. The Democratic leadership tried to say that a Republican-led inquiry was politically motivated. The White House touted the credentials of the men charged with conducting the State Department Investigation of Benghazi--as if the government investigating itself was remotely credible. As we know, it wasn't. Then White House Press Secretary Jay Carney was ducking and dodging reporters questions by saying, "There was an accountability review board led by two men of unimpeachable expertise and credibility who oversaw a process that was rigorous and unsparing, that was highly critical in some areas and that produced a series of recommendations that have all been acted on by the State Department as the president insisted be the case." But Hicks criticized the review saying that it let people "off the hook." Aside from the current email controversy, Clinton and others appeared to be lying about Benghazi. There were several different stories being told and each time Clinton was on the wrong side of documentation.  It was only after State Department officials leaked to the public that the White House story was a fabrication that Clinton admitted "that information has changed...that's not surprising. That always happens." The "president" was out of contact with Clinton and Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, according to Panetta's testimony, from an hour, 18 minutes after the attack began at 5:30 pm until 5:15 the next morning. Yet Carney said the president was "regularly updated." When pressed for more information at a Congressional hearing, Clinton responded: "What difference at this point does it make?" A Congressional report from five House committees said that Clinton and the White House "perpetuated a deliberately misleading and incomplete narrative..." In other words, they lied. In his wisdom Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes 3, "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to reap that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance...A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace." It is time for We the People to stand up and as Ephesians 6:20 says to make known the mystery of the gospel and "speak boldly as I ought to speak." Writing a Book. Birthday.

Hello Friends,  
     I learned in high school English that according to our good looking female teacher,  many artists and sculptors got their inspiration from strange and perhaps bazaar substances, strong drink, women, drugs perhaps, and writers, too.   Please don't take this the wrong way,  but I feel somewhat qualified in this field,  not that I abuse booze, etc.,  but because I have had a vast, extensive varied back ground, much of it rooted in PAIN.   Pain for many is no stranger, hunger,  deprivation, humiliation, failure,  loss,  etc.   When a person is too fat, lazy, born with a silver spoon in his/ her mouth,  where is the challenge and motivation for creation and writing ??   Recently, I have taken a liking to the song writer/ folk hero/ singer,  Gordon Lightfoot,  and read some of his biography via interview.   He is a giant and a legend, IMHO, and he goes back decades, almost died,  but recovered to write even more songs.  One of my favorites is his song called:   "The circle is small."   Please check it out on U-Tube.   It's a song about a man whose woman continues to cheat on him.   Yes,  lost loves in life are a powerful reminder of what happens all the time, every day, and shatters so many lives, marriages and families.   I know too much about relationships because I have been in more than a few.  Some guys like a variety --- the so-called,  "Spice of Life."  But I only wish mine lasted forever....  the good ones, anyway.   

And who knows....  that I might just have the time needed to write and publish my book that I started so long ago, born of another kind of deep, and dangerous pain,  homelessness in Milwaukee.   I don't know if that is what the Lord wants me to do.....   He would rather have me preaching and sharing the Gospel.   But perhaps through my writing, I can accomplish two things at one time.   And then the IRS can poke it's nose into my business again.... Ha!  Sometimes you just can't win in this world.   But I would rather be productive, then just sit on my butt and collect funds from others who work hard every day.   

Yes,  today is a somber, gloomy day --- my Birthday.   I am age 67, and wish I was still age 54 with a whole body,   and the mind that I have right now, full of knowledge.     

I ordered a pizza,  so I will end the blog post right here.

   I have said many times that I am open to constructive criticize and self improvement and friendly debate.   I have also said that I watch the political 'game' out of amusement,  but ready to vote when the time comes,  for the best Christian, Conservative candidate....  BUT,  all Christians who study their bibles KNOW that NO HUMAN CAN TRULY CHANGE THE WORLD FOR THE BETTER ! !   Only God can, and will,  do that,  just as He promised !   But if some head of state [ newly elected President ] can hold the U.S. Constitution in tact and protect our Freedoms and Rights,  GREAT !!   That will give us a little more time to reach those who want and need to learn about the Gospel !   What ever happens,  God IS in control of our future.  Now....  we must understand that as God "allows" the world to take it's natural sinful course,  man will probably destroy himself and pollute the world, and so at some given time God promises to Rapture up His servants and followers of His Son, Jesus, and place them in a "safe place" just before things get really dicey and super dangerous,  or else we all would be killed, exterminated,  just like Satan wants.   And those "Left Behind" will suffer and see some really bad stuff.   So,  please,  never even say that,  'things can't get any worse,'  because they can,  and will !   

Now,  those of us who are computer literate and read the truth about different parts of the world know that places like Argentina are going thru some tough times as their goofy, Socialist Gov't cannot supply them food at the right time, so huge, long lines of people must wait in lines for get just the basics in food, medicine, etc.    But, as WE all know,  main line 'News Media' in the so-called,  'Free World' is blocked so that the average person is not aware of what Socialism is, or how it works !!   And  younger people and poor people are actually wanting to VOTE for people like HRC --- Hillary Clinton and the other Socialist ???  History is not taught anymore and so how can people make any kind of educated guess ?   The so-called,  CINO's  ---'Christian Church' is also asleep or watering down the Gospel all over the USA, so that abortion and the Gay agenda are now the "New Normal."   

I might have told you that I have a new "doctor" at the local VAMC, whom I met yesterday for a check up, a very pretty, blonde, young woman, is my Nurse Practitioner,  who treated me very well and was kind to me.    but I had a chance to witness to her about the Gospel and the bible, and I was honestly amazed at how insulated her little world is when it comes to investing in "Metals" ---  teaching her that our American dollar is on it's way out, and soon to be worthless, IMHO.... and she started taking notes while I was talking....  LOL.   So I also gave her a small bible tract/ pamphlet that I carry in my wallet, and my business card with my phone number and email address, if she has any questions.    It's things, places, people, and times like this that makes me understand why God led me U.P. here in the first place,  to "USE ME" in a good way, to help folks know about the Gospel.   And it's a great, warm, fuzzy feeling to be 'used' in this way by the Holy Spirit !    I am only "Dust in the Wind,"  and nothing more.    

I am praying lately for myself,  about my being lonely and alone on my 67th birthday,  although the Lord cares for me and gives me enough money and funds to pay my bills and eat out sometimes.    I also pray for my friends, and those I email and talk to on the phone.   I pray that I may not be taken advantage of by crafty, loose, hurtful women who might sense that I am lonely.... and try to milk me --- see how much  money they can get from me before I figure things out, etc.   That has happened too many times in my life, even though I have my guard up and check people out,  it still happens to many people all over the place,  both men and women,  and it will only get worse.   But I don't want to be an old, grumpy man, too paranoid or too cautious.    The right woman may just come along, and I might scare her away....  Ha!   
       It's just that I feel like a stranger in a different place without total support right now, and a minimum of smart friends up here where I can ask for help,  information and directions.   That is what close friends are all about !   I thought I had a good,  "Base Camp" of people whom I could call to get a different prospective,  but that group VANISHED like a fart in the wind when I got "removed from my old residence..."  and people naturally started to take sides with the "odd man out in the cold."     You know how women always like to stick together, and the big, old man MUST be the bad guy,  right ?  Well,  I don't want to start any more HURT,  but I am just trying to explain what circumstances I am now in.   People are busy, especially on week ends and holidays,  so 'NEVER HAVE AN ACCIDENT or run out of medicine or food on a week end or a holiday !!'   
     It's too bad that some folks are like parasites, like blood sucking insects or intestinal worms that attach themselves on a human being and suck his resources dry as a bone, and then move on to another 'target.'   Instead of doing honest work for a living,  many people now learn to scam innocent people who DO WORK FOR A LIVING, and just find a 'host body' to live on, and control.   Some people are emotionally insecure and other sense that, and attach themselves for a nice, long, ride, until the money runs out,  and then they run out.   I have a friend named,  A.R. who is street savvy and smart, and many times a woman can smell out and detect another woman parasite easier than the man can.    Men don't always think 'correctly.'   I am happy and glad to have some friends who watch and guard MY back, to make sure that other folks I meet are not just my "friends" to scam me.   The Bible says to be:  'Cautious  as serpents, yet innocent as doves.'     The 'Older, more mature men'--- in the  congregation are also to be savvy enough to spot insincere, predatory, people who might slip into the church and prey upon the members...  but sometimes the "brothers" are sleeping, too.      But sooner or later the Spirit exposes  the wolves for whom and what they really are, and hopefully weeds them out.   

There is a larger "weeding detail/  work" being done by the angels right now over all the earth, right before the grand Master comes back to "Collect His Flock of sheep-ike ones,"  while leaving the wolves behind....    You ALL can know for sure if you are going up with the Master, dear friends, and it's called,  being,  "Saved."   Are you,  "Saved ?"   Don't you think that it's about time that you knew for sure ?    I may be lonely n

ow,   but I know that I am Saved, and it's a good feeling.    If I had a very beautiful woman, a big, paid off house and care, etc.,  but wasn't Saved,  that would be nagging me day and night, and I doubt that I could enjoy anything I possessed on earth !   Thank about it, friends, and talk about it with your friends and family.    Perhaps we can talk about this subject more on another day.


I just want to thank a nice lady named,  Ruth, who live way down South in a desert climate,  I believe.  She emails me sometimes with some nice, good, kind, advice on how to get thru a really tough time/ period in your life, and rely on God.  Again,  please pray for a friend of mine,  Annie, who is anxious about an upcoming knee surgery... and we all hope that things turn out well for her.  She has helped me many times in the past, with cleaning and organizing, etc.   She has a boy friend....   not me.   

But.... another discreet word of advice:  If you date questionable women,  beware that they don't "talk about your house, and what's in it...."  like valuables, etc.,  Now days with all the poor people on drugs,  a wrong word in the wrong group of people could spell a 'house cleaning'...  robbery, or worse !!  Loose lips --- sink ships !   You really need to examine people's character before you ever "go too far" with them,  dating them.... LOL,  the Drill Sargents in the Army even told us not to "consort with the enemy" that we might give away some 'intelligence/  secrets' that could later harm the rest of our brothers in combat ! !   Ha!   i never would have thought that I'd be using that important training way into my late 60's !!   Tomorrow I will be spending my 67th birthday all alone, in my big old house, in a place called,  Norway, MI., way out in the boon docks.    Oh well,  all my good friends/ fellow Veterans told me not to move up here 4 stinking years ago.... and I should have listened to them.  Now I am all alone,  yet God is training me, using me, protecting me and still loves me.  Praise the Lord.    Read the Proverbs and Psalms.    Everyone suffers when Satan digs into a family and flips things around.   Women's Lib, and people being too proud, and not humble enough.   Yes,  many people suffer after a break up.    Sad, but true.
      I am so ready for the Rapture to come.   Come, Lord Jesus, Come !

This is not in the gospel." Apparently, Pope Francis doesn't know his Bible. I am not aware that Jesus or the disciples built physical bridges in the gospel. There are, however, references in the Bible where God's people rebuild the wall in Jerusalem to protect it from invaders. The Pope's replacement theology says they don't count. Also, have you seen the wall around the Vatican?  Politics or replacement theology, the Pope is wrong on both accounts. He is not a citizen of the US and has no say in our elective process other than to sway blind followers or communist think-alike leftists who subscribe to his brand of socialist "religion."  Keep in mind that the Pope has all but admitted he is a socialist and remember that the socialist/communist manifesto bans all religion and morals. As Jesus said in Matthew 6:24, "No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other." So which is it Francis, communism or God; socialism or God; politics or God; twisted theology or the Holy scriptures; mammon or God? To his credit, Trump didn't hesitate to call out the Pope on his folly. AP reports that Trump shot back within minutes, saying,"For a religious leader to question a person's faith is disgraceful," he said at a campaign stop in South Carolina, which holds a key primary on Saturday. "I am proud to be a Christian and as president I will not allow Christianity to be consistently attacked and weakened." The AP reporter aboard the "Papal Plane" revealed his bias and added, "The rare back-and-forth between pontiff and presidential candidate was the latest astonishing development in a U.S. presidential race that has been roiled by Trump's freewheeling rhetoric and controversial policy proposals, particularly on immigration." It seems that anyone who challenges the media's concept of socialism or socialism's spokesmen, is "freewheeling" and "controversial." Hello Friends,
    A funny thing happened.... as I am getting slowly back "into the pink", now pumping iron again at the Gym,  my circulatory system is pumping more oxygenated blood to my old muscles and I am feeling warm, even HOT now days!   Where I normally dress more in layers for Winter,  I find myself stripping down to my T-shirt even in the  great little,  Mexican restaurant --- also because I like to eat those hot roasted chili peppers and drink a small, short  beer, these days,  sometimes.  Why not enjoy life a little while I still can ?     And I have been known to even treat my close friends,  also.   But I think it's healthy to "Pump Iron" on a regular basis, even though I have to drive 15 miles one way, and drive 55 U.P. here.   But my close friends know that power lifting has been MY sport most of my adult life.   I lift because it will give me a little bit of 'quality' of life.  You see,  I am basically a lazy guy,  but I have had to kick my own butt and somehow ACQUIRE that motivation to get up and lift dumb bells and use the Natal-us machines, etc. [sp?] to isolate the muscles and work them harder to get a 'burn.'   Like Cher used to say....  'If fitness came in a can, of bottle,   everyone would have a good body..'   But,  I think I eat better these days,  but need to cut out that "Country Omelette" with saw dust gravy....  LOL !    But from what I read and study,  EGGS ARE GOOD FOR YOU !!  Good for the lungs and eyes.   That's just my opinion,  folks.    And everyone has got an opinion.   I just cannot swallow the Liberal News 'Media's' opinion.    ---or doctors'  opinions either.   But I listen to them like a nice little boy.... at the VAMC.   Show them the people  respect, dignity, and decorum,  just like we did in the Army and Marines.     We want to GET ALONG WITH PEOPLE, even when we feel out of sorts.   
        My regular doctor at the local VA hospital flew the coop, for greener pastures, perhaps, and I liked him....   but now I have a 44 year old, blonde,  drop dead beautiful woman, Nurse Practitioner in charge of my health care.    Wow,  what a knock out !    A slip of my tongue .... was that I felt a bit depressed while going thru a divorce, and she sympathized with me, that she had gone thru one too, and understood the hurt, and pain.     Naturally,   they are there to help the Veteran ~!   The other person has HER 'support group.'  I mean her not malice, hurt, or ill feelings, please believe me.  Why hurt each other any more ?     I am honestly looking for some kind of healing and a "clean break" if that is possible.   When a person tries to hurt another ---  guess what happens?  Everyone...   many people get hurt then !   isn't there enough hurt and pain in the world already ??   Christians are already being butchered and beheaded in other parts of the world, and Islam would love to do the same right here in the USA  !!   Seems to me that we ought to unite and care for our fellow Christian fellows !!   Not tear them down.   And that is what I intend to do right now,  to everyone up here where I live.   I will try to be more kind.     'I will try to cast my BREAD upon the water.... and maybe it will return to me.'     i truly hope that the right people I am 'targeting' today read this short piece, and give me a 2nd chance, and also test me out.   I want peace,    PEACE, and HARMONY !   As a matter of fact,  i will pray for just that right now, and again before I go to sleep.     I want my readers to do the same and let's see what happens tomorrow!    Bless all those who claim to have the H.S.  ---  the Holy Spirit.  if they truly have that Spirit,  they WILL HAVE:   love, joy, peace, kindness and self control !     And you can bet that I will also drive 55.  
            But all my blood work came out OK and right on target, for an older man.    So I hope our relationship will be good in the future.   And now I hope I don't need to see her for another 6 months !   

I wanted to talk about different people and  how they cope with life's day to day pressures one way or another.  Seems like women are there for each other to listen and  agree with each other, and they need to be Validated, and hugged, etc., by other women.    Men need some of that too,  but they tend to get into special "groups" like prayer groups at churches and in homes, visiting, etc.   Something bad and nasty,  traumatic will [will] HAPPEN TO ALL OF US within the next 7 year cycle, as studies explain.    So nobody gets a free ride forever.  And so some "coping mechanism" must be in place to support people.   Right now,  I don't HAVE much of a support group since I got separated, and it's usually a troubling experience that couples who have 'friends in common' are going to be left out as people 'splinter, and take sides' with whom they feel deserves their sympathy.    Now,  I am not crying in my beer [too much]  but I feel pretty left out U.P. here, and will most likely move farther South in the Springtime,  where the 'fishing is better,'  and people speak a better brand of English, with higher I.Q.'s     Ha!  Just kidding....   but it's the REGION... not the State.  We are living so far up North in the  Deep Woods and Forests, that these folks don't have all the luxuries of the big city...  nor the crime.    So there is always a "trade off."    
    UP here,  they like their lifestyle,    "very laid back," but I think that too many drink too much and get a DUI, lose their licenses and then sit home and drink more!   And people also get hurt drunk driving their snowmobiles and RV's,, ATV's,  in the snow and mud,  hit tress, died and get injured.   I just try to walk carefully so as not to slip and fall on the ice !  With stainless steel knees that would be tragic !    A friend of mine recently slipped and fell, injuring herself,  and I am sorry to hear about her pain and discomfort.
      And U.P. here right now at Iron Mountain, MI>, they have a ski jumping contest and competition that is really national, and international !      I will just stick with pumping iron at the Gym.... and staying out of trouble.    
        Sometimes a nice girl named,  Annie, comes over to my huge house to clean it  up and organize things for me,  and she does such a great job of it, and also attends the same nice, friendly church that I do.   She will have some knee surgery on Monday,  so please pray for a successful operation and not too much pain.   

I want to say one more thing today.  When you are traveling in the area of Norway, MI.,  to Iron Mountain, MI.,  you best watch your speed,  because it is 55  MPH, and they enforce it,  BIG TIME !!!   Hey,  they got nothing better to do...  LOL.    How do you think these small towns make their money to operate??

Hi Friends,
     Well,  here we go now.   "Prayer and Action:   Faith and Works."   Bill, the author of The Daily Jot, has the results of a 'Christian' survey,  and the people don't want to take positive action in the USA!   OK,  No body wants to exert himself, 'make waves,' or get his hands wet or dirty these  days,  and so EVIL WINS AGAIN !   And here I am plunking away at my PC [personal computer] on a cold Feb. day in Upper Michigan,  happy to have food,  shelter and clothing as I see a cloudy, day with more snow on the way.   I am so very thankful that God has protected me these past chaotic months on a new adventure.   And it's hard to meet new people in my age group around here.   I have my own little circle of friends,  but it seems that most everyone is a "user" of some kind, always with an outstretched hand and needy in some way.   Seems like the 'old family unit' has been replaced by the Gov't 'Big Brother' entity and a coming World Wide Gov't and Religion Beast,  that REAL Christians don't want any part of !    

You see,  we are really Soldiers in God's Army,  and the devil has his own invisible and VISIBLE army, too.     But how are we to remain strict, in training, prepared and ready if we don't know our Leader,  Jesus ?   He knew the OT.,  Old Testament just like any other Jewish boy back then, some 1900 years ago, in the Middle East, and could quote from Isaiah and other texts.    But the devil did too ! !   In fact, the devil has an edge on many so called Christians,  because they just HEARD IT THREW THE GRAPEVINE....  about the Kingdom and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.     Some/  part of the action talked about below could be getting the basic knowledge of the KJV Bible, and only YOU can pick up and open up that great BOOK.  Years ago,  I wanted the bible near me all the time while I used to write to others,  and so I built an isle made of Oak  and propped at an angle so that it was easy and comfortable to read the bible when I needed to,  and it still serves me well today !   I am nothing without the Word of God.... that is to say, The Bible, and I am not ashamed....  Romans 1: 16.    "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ:   for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth,  to the Jew first, and also to the Greek."   Wow!  that IS powerful !   But I need to memorize it and keep it in my heart and mind, forever.    And to people, even at church now days, who poke fun [because they are ashamed that they are too lazy of STUPID AT US/ WE who know and practice our bible...],  I saw,  get behind me, you lazy dogs !!   It's not about some goofy,  "one-upmanship"  or snobbery, or "holier than thou" sort of thing.   But Soldier need to get ready and prepare for War !    If you are too lazy to pick up your ammo belts, ruck sack, rifle and gear,  be prepared to get hurt, killed, and let you team down !  Shame is what it can properly be called, and don't let any smooth, serpent tell you differently,  please !   

I want and need to hang around people who HAVE THE SPIRIT, and there is a church dinner tonight at church, of which I already bought some sliced Ham....  [no Islamic people will be there....  lol.], pickles and olives, to help out.   
     I will see you there !

If you read the Bible and believe it to be the infallible, inerrant word of God, then you know that the closer we get to the Messiah's return, the worse it gets. Prior to Christ's return there is no massive revival where everybody celebrates the kingdom of God being established and ruled by Christians. Jesus Christ alone treads the winepress, "and the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses (Revelation 19:14)." It is the Messiah who smites the nations and rules them "with a rod of iron (Revelation 19:15)." The teaching that man establishes the kingdom of God and rules over it in order for Christ to return is errant and heretical. It has misled the masses. We cannot stop the march of prophecy, but I believe we can determine our place in it both individually and collectively as a nation. If you think prayer alone will do it, you are mistaken. If you think acts alone will do it, you are mistaken. As is written in James 2:17-18: "Even so faith, if it has not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, you have faith and I have works: show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works." Prayer and action work hand in hand. Yes, the Lord will answer prayer in many ways. But there are many accounts in the Bible where prayer was only answered when man was willing to step out in his faith and take action. I know that your letters, emails and phone calls to the elected officials, even to ministries, have virtually no effect. And to those many who are writhing in daily prayer, you may say that without that prayer things would be far worse. Others might say that if you took action to back up your prayer, it would be more effective. Raw nerves being poked, I know. Romans 12:21 says, "Be not overcome with evil, but overcome evil with good." Jesus told us much the same in the Sermon on the Mount. The generations have collectively allowed our communities and our nation to fall so far away from God that it will be no small task to restore, or revive our nation. Those of us alive today are complicit in this whether we want to admit it or not. We need to repent, pray, act. If we are to change our community or our nation, it will not be done on prayer alone. It will not be done on action alone. The two working together may determine a better place in the prophetic end times. But we will have to have fervent prayer and just as fervent action. We may need to take to the streets and demand accountability. We may need to inspire the younger generation to know God's laws and why it is important for society to follow them. We may need to call them to action. In a survey of even Jot readers done before the election, over 90% of the respondents who wanted to do something to change the outcome of the election only wanted to pray. What to do?
