Friends:
I hope that you all don't think I am a strange, or crazy, mad Prepper,  but I like to always "broaden my intellect,  my horizon, my perimeter of sorts."   It doesn't hurt to learn more things, especially when you consider the turbulent times we live in right here and now.  The article I chose to share with all my friends and readers gives you a few options.  Hint:  Invest NOW in Precious Metals or suffer later!   I have dealt with a few sellers/ companies, and now I prefer a great entity called:  MMX --Money Metals Exchange.   And I think Silver is a very smart idea.

We all know at this point that food, shelter, and clothing are the 3-- pillars of life, I would say.  But after that, we need to expand and plan on.  Invest in a sturdy bag, fill it and store it in a place where you will never forget.  B.O.B. stands for 'Bug out Bag.'  Remember,  People don't plan to fail --- they fail to plan!

Perhaps we have been here before and I bore you to death, but humans need many reminders in life... the KJV Bible included.  Smart people see Bible prophecy unfold right before there eyes, almost on a daily basis!  Stay alert.  So, that being said,  we Bible studied Christians can still be happy in a dying world, amidst all kinds of pollution, crime, and crazy political B.S.  We have bad, greedy, people in BOTH political parties today!   And now the Socialists who NEVER studied History.  Yes, Everything is repeated all thru History, sorry.  God knows this too, of course, and He gave us a Great Book to warn and teach us.
My stepson is visiting us for a few days [long drive/ distance] and I have his ear for a while, and we seem to get along well.  PTL.  I am hoping to teach him a lot while I enjoy his company.  He is very skilled in practical ways, a great mechanic.

Warm Regards,

Are you Prepping to Bug Out Financially?

As Preppers we take steps to plan for disasters that could force us out of the comfort and safety of our homes. These threats could range from regional weather incidents like Tornadoes, Earthquakes or Hurricanes to longer term disasters that might not be caused by Mother Nature. Even these relatively common regional weather events can cause massive damage in some places, but shelter and safety is usually within a short drive or walk from your home. To reach safety, it may be necessary to throw your Bug Out Bag into the car or on your back and get the hell out of dodge as quickly as possible before the roads are clogged or leaving is no longer possible. The hope is that you will be able to come back home as soon as the disaster has passed and conditions are safe for your return.
When you are preparing to Bug Out, there’s a lot of advice on various aspects of preparing like how to select the right bug out bag, or how to load your bug out bag. We can give you lists of supplies to actually pack in your bug out bag but in some cases, you simply won’t be able to carry everything you will ever need to in one pack.
The perfect bug out bag will give you basic supplies, food and shelter to live for at least 72 hours, hopefully longer without being so heavy that it will kill you. A bug out bag is designed to give you what you need to survive without the benefit of your home and all its supplies but it is only a short-term solution because it will be impossible to carry every single thing you would ever need for any potential scenario. What if the disaster is longer than 72 hours? What if you aren’t able to come back home ever again for some reason? What if the grid goes down and you can’t get to your money any more due to bank holidays, power outages or some currency crisis?

How can you protect your money?

There are a lot of things that we put in our bug out bag but a supply of money is one of those at the very top of the list when we start to consider what we might need in order to survive. I am not talking about lost in the woods survival here but surviving in a society that still operates in cash. Until we have some TEOTWAWKI event, money still has purchasing power so having some extra cash on hand is wise. You might not be able to access the money you have in the bank anymore like the people in Cyprus, so I recommend keeping a relatively large amount of cash hidden somewhere that nobody can find it outside of your bank. Having all of your money in the bank makes this a single point of failure so having a decent amount of cash on hand, as long as you take precautions could save your rear if the banks decide they can’t or don’t have to give it back. How much should you keep out of the bank? That’s up to you but I try to keep as much as possible outside those doors that can lock me out.

Zimbabwe Dollars ranging from 10 to 100 billion printed within a one year period. The magnitude of the currency scalars signifies the extent of the hyperinflation.
Maybe your money will still be accessible, but with inflation it simply won’t buy you anything at some point in the future. This isn’t without precedent as it has happened in the Weimar Republic after WWI and also in Zimbabwe. As a hedge against actions beyond our control; some people are storing precious metals for long-term protection against inflation. Holding physical gold and silver could be crucial to your family’s survival if the currency collapses so many preppers are acquiring silver and gold coins should the Dollar fail someday or the banks prevent you from accessing the money in your accounts.
While those beautiful shiny coins could save your life financially speaking if the fiat money you have ends up being worthless, they also have their disadvantages. When it comes to bugging out, you have to consider the weight. If you have been quietly purchasing precious metals for years in anticipation of an economic collapse, have you given thoughts to how you will take all of that with you?
There are a lot of options when it comes to precious metals. Some people like James Wesley Rawles advocate using pre-1965 US coins because of their silver content. Smaller denominations, in easy to understand measurements would be easier to barter with other individuals he reasons and I agree with that theory. Instead of spending my weekends sorting rolls of quarters from the bank though; I have settled on 1 ounce Silver coins as my precious metal of choice. I chose silver coins because they were more affordable than gold and I could see paying someone with a silver coin being much easier than chiseling off a piece of my gold coin. Gold coins because of their worth are easier to carry, but harder to make change for. I could carry one gold coin or 70 silver coins. When you are bugging out that weight will start to add up.
Let’s say it was the end of the world and you had to bug out with only the items in your bug out bag, your trusty AR15 or preferred end of the world firearm and all of the money you have. If you had one gold coin you could easily carry that around practically anywhere, but the problem comes in when you wanted to purchase something with it. You couldn’t go to a restaurant and pay for a meal with a fraction of your gold coin. You would want some smaller bills (coins) so to speak.
So, instead of gold you chose silver and now all of your silver is loaded in your bug out bag. Just 200 silver coins will weigh over 14 pounds. What if you had more silver? What if you had cashed in your 401K and have 1000 silver coins? That would be over 60 pounds and I don’t care who you are, adding that much weight to your bug out bag will hurt you sooner or later. Not to mention, if you lose your bag or someone steals it, all of your money is gone.

A bug out plan with Precious Metals

So what is a good prepper supposed to do? I still recommend having some precious metals because I don’t have faith the long term health of our monetary system. Does that mean I am right? You have to investigate that for yourself and make up your own mind. If you do plan to purchase some precious metals how can you plan to bug out on foot with all that coin?
You can’t.
What? Is that your great advice? Well, not exactly but you have to plan on this happening. I have some silver and this works for my me and my family, but I would not load it all into my Bug Out Bag. I also might not load it all in my vehicle if I was bugging out either. So what would I do?
I would bury it. Yes, I would bury my precious metals in containers I could dig up later. This poses a couple of problems too though. What if I can’t make it back to my buried treasure? What if I couldn’t find it after it was buried? These are the realities of storing all of your money outside of a central location but they can easily be mitigated. If I had a bug out location, I would bury some, probably most of my silver there. I probably wouldn’t bury much more than a handful of coins if any along the route. I would also bury a lot at my current location. If I was planning to bug out and had time I would dig it up and take it with me, but if the plan was to bug out on foot, I would only take a small amount with me in my BOB and leave the rest buried.
How much would I take? For a bug out scenario I would probably take 20 silver coins and several hundred dollars. All of this money would be divided into different hiding places and probably with different people. This way if one person gets robbed or lost you don’t lose all your money.
You may be asking what the point of buying silver is if it is going to be so hard to carry. You may be saying the same thing about bugging out. This article may be bringing up more problems than solutions but these are things to consider if you plan on bugging out. Having to bury your money in the ground isn’t ideal but neither is losing all of your money when the banks need a bail-in. Having to bug out isn’t ideal either and it helps to plan for how you are going to take your money with you or keep it safe until you can get back.

It seems like Socialists never change.

Tom's Journal. http://tomschuckmanjournal.blogspot.com/

Hello My Friends,
How is it that some people always seem so cheery, positive, and HAPPY ?  It almost seems to bug the rest of us worried human, doesn't it?   But the "Good Book" actually promotes that sort of thinking and happiness, and our Father is a happy God who also wants all his children to be happy and content, too.  Hey,  I like that!  So, what is the secret to happiness?   OK,  "Happiness is a bi-product from serving God."   You may question, then:  'How do I do that, and what are the ways to 'serve Father God?' '
First of all, He will not even let us into heaven unless we are faithful, genuine followers of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, nor give us the Holy Spirit to be in the club and understand what the KJV BIBLE says.  The Bible is our guidebook and compass, and it unlocks all the so-called mysteries.    And there are NOT many ways to find and seek God, the one True God, Yahweh, but only one way ---thru Jesus Christ and the Bible.
That is why smart people like Mr. Hal Lindsey can accurately say that certain events prove that we are now in the 'Last Days' of these "Gentile Times."   It make no difference what state of turmoil or secret wrong doing Israel now or in the past because Father God has a binding Contract with them.   You see, the Jews may [and do often...] 'drop he ball,' but God never reneges on His promises and deals.   And,  it's God's ball game and ball park!   Yes, we mere human beings, myself included get so puffed up and prideful so often!  And then a loving Father must humble us a bit... or in my case, A LOT.   But it's for to get in tune with God, and not the other way around.   God is very merciful and long-suffering, but there is a limit to His mercy.  For those who just WILL NOT CHANGE, there is a special place just for them called Hell.  That is where folks check in -- but they never check out.   I have a fear of that place, but I also love God very much and want to do His Will.   Jesus once said:  "The Spirit is willing but the flesh is weak."

Check out the "time table" below and get educated, please.   The big war of Armageddon will not come today nor tomorrow, but it is sti near.   "It will come like a thief in the night."   Sorry to sound so 'preachy' today, again.  But since God gave me these "Gifts" I must use them, or soon be taken off the earthly scene.

I wish I had another ADULT to talk to...

Warm Regards,
Tom Schuckman

Hal Lindsey (mail@hallindsey.com)To:you Details

April 5th, 2019
Last month, Russia began moving men and materiel into Venezuela.

The situation there was already tragic and dangerous. Now it is much worse.

The Russians are there to strengthen the disastrous, murderous regime of Nicolas Maduro. I suppose they're there to support a fellow socialist/communist, but the fact that Venezuela has the world's largest known oil reserves probably attracts their attention, as well.

Ironically, those oil reserves are not helping keep the lights on in Venezuela. Since March 7th, much of the country has been without power.

Until the blackouts, Venezuelans with US dollars were able to buy some staples. Many of them shared food and other essentials with their neighbors. But with the blackouts, stores remain closed. Trucks can't move what goods there are because there's no electricity for the fuel pumps.

Without power, there is no refrigeration. People are struggling to keep food edible. They are scavenging through trash and landfills.

With no power to pump water, the taps in their homes are dry. In Caracas, thousands trek daily to a nearby mountain spring. The lines are long. They spend all day waiting their turn, then carry home only a few gallons of water. And water is heavy and difficult to carry.

Sanitary conditions are atrocious. That leads to increasing outbreaks of sickness at a time when medical help is almost non-existent.

Despite all of this, Maduro's government has blocked international attempts to send aid to the Venezuelan people.

In the last few days, though, the Red Cross announced that it has received permission to begin moving aid into the country. That's big news. It will provide some minimal relief to the suffering Venezuelans. And it is a tacit admission by Maduro that his people are in dire straits. In many cases, they are literally starving.

Until recently, Venezuela's military has allowed Maduro to remain in power. But some ranking members of the military have begun turning against him.

That's when Russia stepped in.

Russia did the same thing in Syria to allow Bashar al-Assad to remain as dictator. That allows Russia to control some of the world's most strategic territory.

Now they are trying it in the Western Hemisphere.

Since the establishment of the Monroe Doctrine in 1823, the United States has basically warned the world that it will not tolerate European nations interfering in this hemisphere of the world.

Russia's military presence in Venezuela is a direct challenge to America's sphere of influence.

President Trump has stated bluntly that, "Russia has to get out." When asked how he could accomplish that, he replied, "We'll see. All options are open."

Is another Cuban Missile Crisis brewing in Venezuela? Will the US blink first? Or will Russia?

It's troubling to note that even with President Trump's intensive push to update and upgrade America's armed forces posture, our assumed military superiority has slipped substantially over the last decade.

The Heritage Foundation recently observed, "The US military is only marginally able to meet the demands of defending America's vital interests."

Even the US-China Economic and Security Review Commission, which was formed by Congress in 2000, recently issued a dismal assessment. They said, "With the advances made by the PLA Air Force (China's air force), the United States and its allies and partners can no longer assume achieving air superiority in an Indo-Pacific conflict."

Even though we spend more on our military than all the other nations combined (of course, we can't really know what Russia and China actually spend), the truth is that many analysts see our military as vulnerable.

There are a number of reasons why America has slipped so far in recent years. Not the least of which is that our armed forces must follow the rules and regulations of "political correctness." Those ridiculous, arbitrary edicts often put our service members and tactical efforts in mortal danger. (In just one example, in the previous administration, lawyers were sometimes embedded with fighting units to issue rulings over whether certain responses to aggression were appropriate and acceptable. If no legal specialists were present, the fighters waited for approval from their higher-ups! There are soldiers who have been court martialed for reacting inappropriately and not awaiting permission for their actions.)

When Russia or China wants to build a military establishment, they do so. In America, we have to wait years for environmental studies to make certain some obscure plant or bug isn't threatened.

I could go on, but you get the picture.

Russia says its defense spending amounts to just one-tenth of America's. But Russia isn't particularly concerned with the political issues requiring them to build weapons with such pinpoint precision that they inflict little collateral damage. Russia wants as much destructive power as possible.

And their current military establishment is built on the leftovers from massive levels of Soviet-era defense spending. Including thousands of nuclear-tipped ICBMs.

Likewise, the Chinese say their military budget is only half of that of the United States.

But their emerging advantage starts with their edge in manufacturing. They have an almost unlimited supply of cheap, skilled labor.

And they have had enormous assistance from several major American companies. Not long ago, it was illegal to export cutting edge technology TO China. Now, we import cutting edge technology FROM China.

China has a spy apparatus like nothing else in the world. (We now know they even had a spy working for decades for US Senator Dianne Feinstein. Whose husband's company, coincidentally, made billions of dollars from Chinese contracts! Go figure.)

China steals business and trade secrets as a matter of course. They also steal military secrets.

China's military goals are integrated into everything. Last year, a US tech company discovered hidden microchips on computer servers made in China. Some of those servers where used by the CIA to compress video from their drones. So, using chips illegally placed inside larger servers manufactured in China, Chinese intelligence agencies were able to monitor certain CIA operations.

Any technology or technological equipment manufactured in China is vulnerable to Chinese government interference. This is particularly worrisome since much of the technology for the new 5G standard for connecting phones to the internet is coming from China.

Right now, China is leading the technology race. From a Biblical prophecy perspective, all of these things are huge. The Bible tells us that Russia and China will be major players in the last days.

America will not.

Speaking of the last days power configurations, March 29th was scheduled to be British Independence Day. The day the United Kingdom formally left the European Union.

It wasn't. Because the UK didn't.

And now, no one really knows when or if it will happen. Three years ago, the citizens of the United Kingdom voted to leave the EU. Since then, Parliament, with the complicity of the Conservative Party, has been doing everything it can to thwart that move.

As the British would say, Prime Minister Theresa May has made a right muck-up of everything, but even when she does present deals for the exit, Parliament rejects them.

Of course, I don't blame her exclusively. The European Union has been trying to make an example of the United Kingdom. They want to show other European nations what will happen to "rogue" nations who might someday dare to leave the confederation.

The EU (primarily egged on by Germany and France) is morphing into something immense and awful. But this shouldn't surprise us. According to the Bible, it -- or something like it -- will one day bring the Antichrist to power.

Finally, we often call the Jews "God's chosen people." What do we mean by that? What were they chosen for?

On this week's program, I am going to discuss four things that God chose the Jews to do.

I am also going to discuss why the Jews rejected Jesus as their Messiah even though He perfectly fulfilled more than 300 Old Testament prophecies about the Messiah.

I can sum it up in one word: Tradition.

I think it will help you answer many of the questions you may have concerning "God's chosen people."
