I finally had enough abuse and lies from the Milwaukee VA Pharmacy today after they jerked me around as I politely asked about the timely delivery of my monthly pain medications. I should not have to hold their hand every stinking month, and then get verbally abused, hung up on, passed around in their 'good old boys' SOP goose chase, lied to, etc ! Already having the correct legal document from my Congressman Paul Ryan [WI], who was on TV a few nights ago in D.C. [opposing Obama's PORK spending], that gives him permission to access my med. records, etc, so that he can now proceed to take action, I wrote him a good letter explaining my complaints with the VA Pharmacy.

A couple of weeks ago while meeting with my PCP, Nurse Practitioner [ a caring nice lady who supports me and cares for me well] , with my wife present [as a witness], she confided in me that many other Veterans have complained to her about the same abusive, rough shod treatment from the lax, disorganized VA Pharmacy in Milwaukee, and I can only assume other places in the U.S. What the heck-- we are only disabled combat Vets... ! I can also assume that the VA will be plenty pissed off at me for bringing their dereliction to the public eye and perhaps making life hard for me, or trying to take away/ steal my benefits. Unfortunately, many Vets are afraid to do what I just did today for the same very reason. They don't want to be stuck under a bridge in a Milwaukee Winter-- and I personally know a few guys that had that distinct experience! Except for the VVA, we are not so well connected as the TAX-CHEATERS in Congress... lol. Some of our ranks include professionals, but I figure most of us are hard working, tax paying, middle class workers who are retired about now, like me.

BTW, I really have to watch what I post these days after having my posts censored and the main text gutted by Blogspot/ Blogger. So... if I disappear off the face of the earth, or suddenly quit posting, I want you to remember THIS post, and know why. I was merely cutting and pasting a few Christian articles from a few authors that I respect and found interesting, if not a bit controversial. But I must have stepped on somebody's toes... lol. Now that Mr. O in in the O office, I believe that we Americans can expect many Freedoms to 'fade away..' Just my opinion.

Friends, I hope I don't sound like 'Chicken Little' or an alarmist [but better that I look foolish than NOT sound the warning for all our souls..], but as a very serious student of the Bible for the past 30 years-- I can't help but match up all the Old and New Testament prophecies with the bullet fast series of events that have happened in the last 4 months! And the reality of possible war in one or more of MANY troubled spots like anytime,anyday, Mexico-- busting apart with drug cartels [see Glenn Beck], 'Concentration camps' being built in the USA, and the threat of another gun-banning bill on the Senate floor right now. We had a brilliant Greek teacher in high school Am. History who pounded that mantra into our heads that, "who ever doesn't know their history- will be condemned to repeat it!" Things are becoming so clear for serious, fundamentalist Christians right now!! But I also know that few on earth will believe and follow Jesus ... 'narrow and cramped will be the road leading to everlasting life...' Matt.
I am not so worried anymore, although I still feel the need to share the Word, until I am "relieved of my post." The lazy, tried, crippled old man inside me wishes that the Lord would take me up out of here tonight in my sleep. I have led a very full, super active life, and now I am very tired, weary and totally disgusted with what I see on earth on TV and InterNet. When I pass on there will be ten others to take my place and perhaps do a better job. But, as the saying goes: 'Old Soldiers Never Die... they just fade away.'

This is WAR! Here's What YOU Can Do By Heidi Swander Well, we've had nothing but cheery news for you lately, as you may have noticed -- from America becoming a socialist nation http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread204156/pg1 to the widespread and rapid rise of the Emergent Church. From the insidious, infectious popularity of the false doctrine promoted by the best-seller The Shack to deception run rampant so that Twilight -- a movie about vampires for Pete's sake! -- is seen as an acceptable vehicle for gleaning spiritual truth. We've hit you relentlessly with the sin of our culture, the overturning of our government, and the deception and apostasy in our churches. Do you feel overwhelmed yet? Maybe a little helpless? Has this question entered your mind recently: "But what can we DO about all this?" You can PRAY like you've never prayed before. And don't stop. This is spiritual warfare, make no mistake. Fortunately, we've read the end of the story and we win! However, souls hang in the balance at this point so we mustn't just close up shop and hide in our homes. We must continue to contend for the faith. Often that means getting out there and making our opinions known, voting our conscience, talking to our friends and our church leaders, and writing our representatives. But always it means going into our closets and petitioning our Heavenly Father for His intervention in every situation. Prayer is a powerful weapon against the enemy. Paul told the Thessalonians to "Pray without ceasing" (I Thess. 5:17). He exhorted the Ephesians similarly in his treatise on spiritual warfare: "Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints" (Eph. 6:18). So to help get you started, let me give you a few suggestions on what to pray for: Pray for our president, his cabinet, our Congress, your state governor and legislature. I Timothy 2:1-2 commands this. This may, to some, seem to be a conundrum for us today. But as Jack Kinsella points out in a recent article regarding Christians in Paul's day praying for Emperor Nero, "Whether Nero wanted to be used by God or not was irrelevant. God used Nero to His purpose. . . so they [first-century Christians] prayed, not that Nero would accomplish HIS will, but rather that God would use Nero like the tool that Nero was in order to accomplish GOD's will." (We addressed praying for our president with Jack Kinsella in the first hour of last weekend's radio broadcast. Hear that program here.) Pray for your pastor. Do you see signs in your church that the Emergent movement is making inroads? Yes, you should speak up, but you should also, and most importantly, pray. Pray that this man who leads your church will stop endorsing heresy (Gal. 1:6-9) and begin preaching the pure, unadulterated gospel of Jesus Christ and teaching biblical truth (I Cor. 1:23-25). Do you have a pastor who already preaches sound doctrine without reservation or apology? Then thank God for him and pray that God will give him wisdom and discernment (Col. 1:9) and courage to continue standing strong against the wiles of the devil (Eph. 6:10). Pray for your loved ones who have been taken in by dangerous deception -- The Shack, Twilight, Todd Bentley and his ilk, or fill-in-the-blank. There's a tornado of spiritual treachery going on within the so-called "evangelical" community, and it is leading the sheep astray. Pray for insight, wisdom, and spiritual understanding for those you care about (Col. 1:9). Pray that God would give them repentance so that they may know the truth (II Tim. 2:25). Pray for the lost souls you know, that God would draw them to a relationship with His Son (John 6:44). Pray for Olive Tree Ministries. This is God's work. Ephesians 4:11-14 talks about equipping the saints for the work of the ministry. It says we should no longer be "children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness whereby they lie in wait to deceive." Olive Tree Ministries is one ministry that attempts to expose deception in the church and help build up the saints so they can stand strong in the truth. Help us get the word out by praying for us! All ministries are under some sort of attack today and it could get worse. The "Fairness Doctrine" being pushed by the Left could knock out our radio program. Pray for the Kingdom to come (Matt. 6:10)! There are a lot of things that must happen before that event, but by praying for it, you are asking to get the show on the road, beginning with our own Home-going (I Thess. 4:13-18)! And remember -- God is in control of all things. The fact that you can go to your Bible and see the lukewarm church, a one-world government, and a global economy in the end-times -- all things our world is being transformed by right now, today -- is proof-positive that God is still on His throne orchestrating all that is happening. Firearms Legislation In The 111th Congress

Gun Owners of America analysis of current House Bills: H.R. 45: This bill would require a license for handguns and semiautomatics, including those currently possessed. The applicant must be thumb printed and sign a certification that, effectively, the firearm will not be kept in a place where it would be available for the defense of the gun owner’s family. The applicant must also make available ALL of his psychiatric records, pass an exam, and pay a fee of up to $25. The license may be renewed after five years and may be revoked. Private sales would be outlawed, and reports to the attorney general of all transactions would be required, even when, as the bill allows, the AG determines that a state licensing system is sufficiently draconian to substitute for the federal license. With virtually no exceptions, ALL firearms transactions (involving semiautos, handguns, long guns, etc.) would be subject to a Brady check. In addition, the bill would make it unlawful in nearly all cases to keep any loaded firearm for self-defense. A variety of “crimes by omission” (such as failure to report certain things) would be created. Criminal penalties of up to ten years and almost unlimited regulatory and inspection authority would be established.

Genesis 19:26 "But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt." Talking about Sodom and Gomorrah being destroyed and Lot's wife [her name not even being important enough to mention...]. I well know that we all don't possess super intelligence,smarts or co-ordination, skills, and I mess up often every day of my life, these days too. But with some people you have to baby sit them for all the dumb 'accidents' and things that have to be replaced after they ruin/ destroy them.

I have said that I love my wife and I will not desert nor abandon her no matter what mistakes or lies she has told me from the get-go. But today, again, she cut her finger on a sharp knife that I got in the mail [from Cold Steel--and their excellent knives are always super sharp. I am a knife collector], with a warning on the handle that said, "WARNING: READ THE ENCLOSED INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE OPENING THIS KNIFE!" Actually the company gave that particular knife to me free,as a gift-- and now I know why... lol. Beware of the "KUDU." She has cut herself and hurt herself many times since I have known her these past 4 years by her own admission-- but she just can't seem to trust and listen to my warnings and info. Is this a 'Women's' Lib' thing?? I am certain that Satan is behind THAT org. too... lol.

I have gone thru life pursuing many things of interest to me, learned, studied, read, researched and became an expert in certain fields and skills, and I love to share my knowledge. I love to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ because we are commanded by God to witness about our faith and salvation in/ of Jesus Christ.
I enjoy veggie gardening, wood carving, carpentry, welding and building, study of healing herbs, throwing knives and tomahawks accurately, etc. These are SOME of my hobbies and skills. Many old friends and acquaintances know and respect me for my knowledge-- except my wife... LOL. Ha! Why, oh why, do I lack creditability in her eyes ? I don't want to micro manage everything, like Bill Clinton, and I wish that people could use their own life's experiences and knowledge, and God given COMMON SENSE to figure things out. And why is it that when I choose to stay in the truck and ask my wife to go into the store for something, and all I have is a $50 or $100 bill, she makes sure that she spends all but a few pennies of it?...Ha! The Pastor has told me that he knows of many other wives who do just that...


If, unfortunately, I had to learn a lot from my costly mistakes and blunders, why can't I spare those whom I love and care for-- those same mistakes ?? My father used to tell me, 'let your kids find out for themselves !' He had the idea that in a young person's life, teen age years, that they think that 'they KNOW IT ALL', and they don't listen to their parents advice anyway -- so why get upset? That was my Dad's way of thinking, although he did personally teach me very much in my life... praise the Lord. But mom and dad never taught me much about finance. And it seems like the rest of the Moms and Dads in the USA didn't teach their offspring much about FINANCE either, Congress especially !! Woo Woo!


I remember a friend who had lots of money from his skilled trades job at AMC as a 'tool maker' who owned a powerful fishing boat who took me fishing way out on Lake Michigan. That is a big, scary, cold lake that has claimed many lives-- even some of my young boyhood friends from grade school. And we were fishing for Coho Salmon, German Brown Trout, [and I love to eat fish!] etc, and we went so far out that we could not see the coast line. Well, we had life preservers, but the issue was that even in mid-June, the water temp was so cold that a human WOULD die in 15 minutes as we were out so far-- 8 miles out; just like the movie, 'Titanic' -- from hypothermia! And you often hear me rattle on about my Army experiences, how the Drill Sargent's used to tell us what and what NOT to do--because our very lives and our fellow soldiers who relied on us depended on knowing the CORRECT info. I am thankful that the D.I.'s were so hard and strict with us! Same way with the Bible being God's Word. He is a loving God who wants all to take advantage of His only begotten Son's ransom sacrifice and follow Jesus Christ-- to escape hell and eternal pain.


Question: IF a man or woman is deemed a good teacher by his/her peers and tries so offer kind advice to friends and loved ones-- who is to blame if the receivers don't want to listen or act on that wise council ? YOU tell me.

Bible Study and Service at church this morning was good and like a shot in the arm for me today! I guess it's like everything else: 'you get out of something what you put into something.' Winner win-- and Losers Lose. Super Bowl will be on in an hour or less and we planned to have a small party with good food, etc for today. The best of both worlds.

I decided to email/ write to a married warrior from our church that just deployed over to Afghanistan recently, Jeff B., and I remember how thrilled I was to get any mail or 'care packages' from home, etc when I was in Vietnam for 2 years... even though it made me very home sick. We used to call the USA, "The World" as opposed to the jungles and sub tropical climate of S.E. Asia, and the totally different ways and customs of the Emerald Tropical Paradise filled with war and violence.
It's still very hard for me to understand how the majority of the world can be blinded by the Liberal 'Media' Oinks and the demonic backed 'powers that be' today, in 2009. But then, in a world without God, they only thing that they will worship is the god of money, sex and immorality. Once upon a time I ran with this 'herd' of animals-- and Satan still tries to drag me back there. We are made in God's image and we are/ should be different than the world of beasts and critters. Go walk in some of our ghettos and you may beg to differ.... it's still a jungle! Just like, Romans 1: 23-32, talking about the Sodomite, perverted agenda now days,and haters of God.

But too many of my dear friends get so upset about these things, 'the daily fare of the world' that they get themselves and their stomachs all tied up into knots of anger. That is NOT productive, my friends. I took me a long time to "detach" these feelings and let God do the fighting. Our job is to help witness to the nations of mankind--here in our own back yards, the Gospel of Jesus Christ! I am no different that all of you-- I have to beat myself/ kick myself out of the sack in the morning,even though I am disabled and retired. It's just like tithing money to support the church. How much do we really need to buy to 'make us happy?' When will we learn to use our resources wisely [and I need this advice too] and give the correct amount that doesn't leave us homeless or starving? I need to pay OFF my plastic so that I may give more. I bought a new truck because I need a dependable vehicle to haul our power chairs around and 4 by 4 in case we get stuck in the high WI snow and ice-- and I am not a very good mechanic.

As I have posted before: 'Plan for the worst, and pray for the best' -- but most of my inner core of serious bible Friends/ biblical Christians really think that we may be down to the 'last months' before the Lord comes back. And if He delays a bit more, that only means that we need to reach more people with a witness to His message of the Gospel.

What to Do if You Miss the Rapture "For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not precede them who are asleep. It will take place at the onset of a terrible 7-year period of time the Bible calls the Tribulation. During those gruesome days, over half the population of the world will die amidst wars, natural catastrophes, plagues, as the result of economic manipulation, and especially at the nefarious hand of an evil world ruler known in the Bible as the Antichrist. Are we close to that event even now? Well, if you are a Christian, the answer is "Happily, yes!" The Bible is full of signs that indicate the approach of the Tribulation. Globalism, a united Europe, interlaced economies and mounting technology all point to the nearness of that time. However if you are not a Christian, the answer for you is "Sadly, yes!" Sadly, because if you do not move quickly and come to believe in Jesus as Savior before the Rapture, you will be left behind after the Rapture to take your chances with the Antichrist and the world of his oppression. Your chances of survival will be less that 50/50, and most of those who will survive will be forced to join the new Satanic world economic system. But beware, the Bible says that joining that economic system (called the Mark of the Beast) will involve aligning yourself with the Antichrist, which will erase any chance you have to come to salvation. But there is hope! Now, before the Rapture, you can believe on Jesus and become a Child of God. And even after the Rapture, you will have an opportunity to become a Tribulation Saint, enduring plagues and persecution, and probably being beheaded for the testimony of Christ.
