More surgery for my poor wife tomorrow, again. Sorry that I cannot release much more info because I have a tendency to release TMI [too much personal information] to the public which unfortunately somehow leaks it to unwanted sources in certain orgs I wish not to mention at this time. Some authors and writers claim that gut wrenching trauma stimulate the mind and make it fertile for interesting writing, but I didn't want things to be this way. My attorney told me that I could write most anything now days if it's my honest opinion. Hey-- example: look at the text books our kids have to study in school.. lol!
I have already posted personal updates and foot notes to people I think I can trust. Please don't take this the wrong way or be offended-- because their have been some who have used my information to hurt me and make things worse for us-- lowly as it sounds, but some devils get their kicks out of kicking a man or woman when they are down, fallen, sick or injured. God will reward them according to their actions. And I must learn to trust the Lord more, but somehow I feel that I must 'micro-manage' and protect my spouse from all harm. I went to the 'Old School.' New developments seem to point for the worst, and my wife is suffering more, it seems, every day.
Enough before I get into trouble again, and I certainly don't want the old cong. forwarding any 'news' to the sharks who seek to hurt us again. I am copying down info ever day now to make a record, perhaps for future litigation, if there is any thing suspect.
There is a mole close to the 'medical establishment', and I will feel any heat if that entity forwards this info, and then I will know for sure who that person is, although I have a good hunch already.
Sorry again for all the innuendos and mystery baloney. I may see some light perhaps in a day or two after the dust settles. The devil is having a field day with me lately-- but I am fighting him off as best I can. I am going to get some reinforcements next week and tomorrow, witnesses and support. Your prayers are welcome.

Rick Warren disavows support for Prop. 8

"During the whole Proposition 8 thing, I never once went to a meeting, never once issued a statement, never -- never once even gave an endorsement in the two years Prop. 8 was going," Warren told the CNN audience on Monday. "The week before the -- the vote, somebody in my church said, 'Pastor Rick, what -- what do you think about this?' And I sent a note to my own members that said, I actually believe that marriage is -- really should be defined, that that definition should be -- say between a man and a woman."
However, just two weeks before the November 4 Prop. 8 vote, Pastor Warren issued a clear endorsement of the marriage amendment while speaking to church members. "We support Proposition 8 -- and if you believe what the Bible says about marriage, you need to support Proposition 8," he said.
The following is a complete transcript of Warren's comments just weeks before the Prop. 8 election:
"The election's coming just in a couple of weeks, and I hope you're praying about your vote. One of the propositions, of course, that I want to mention is Proposition 8, which is the proposition that had to be instituted because the courts threw out the will of the people. And a court of four guys actually voted to change a definition of marriage that has been going for 5,000 years.
"Now let me say this really clearly: we support Proposition 8 -- and if you believe what the Bible says about marriage, you need to support Proposition 8. I never support a candidate, but on moral issues I come out very clear.
"This is one thing, friends, that all politicians tend to agree on. Both Barack Obama and John McCain, I flat-out asked both of them: what is your definition of marriage? And they both said the same thing -- it is the traditional, historic, universal definition of marriage: one man and one woman, for life. And every culture for 5,000 years, and every religion for 5,000 years, has said the definition of marriage is between one man and a woman.
"Now here's an interesting thing. There are about two percent of Americans [who] are homosexual or gay/lesbian people. We should not let two percent of the population determine to change a definition of marriage that has been supported by every single culture and every single religion for 5,000 years.
"This is not even just a Christian issue -- it's a humanitarian and human issue that God created marriage for the purpose of family, love, and procreation.
"So I urge you to support Proposition 8, and pass that word on. I'm going to be sending out a note to pastors on what I believe about this. But everybody knows what I believe about it. They heard me at the Civil Forum when I asked both Obama and McCain on their views."
During his CNN interview on Monday, Warren expressed regret for backing Prop. 8. "There were a number of things that were put out. I wrote to all my gay friends -- the leaders that I knew -- and actually apologized to them. That never got out," he admitted.
Additionally, Pastor Warren said he did not want to comment on or criticize the Iowa Supreme Court's decision last week to legalize same-sex "marriage" because it was "not his agenda."

Dr. Jim Garlow, the senior pastor of Skyline Wesleyan Church in the San Diego suburb of La Mesa, helped spearhead the Prop. 8 effort in California. Garlow admits he is confused and troubled by Pastor Warren's decision to apologize for supporting Prop. 8.
Pastor Warren did not respond to a request from OneNewsNow for an interview.

Comment Moderation might Help.

Now that I have more 'Comment moderation controls' activated, maybe I will feel more comfortable screening out butt-heads, toads, and slime who don't have a life of their own, but take delight in hurting other people. Like I said before, we KNOW that they are not Christians or they would not go out of their ways to butt in where they are not wanted. I sin every day and put my foot in MY mouth too, but I know how to cease and desist, to correct myself and try to get along-- without sacrificing my biblical principles.
I get a lot of my ideas from good bible based books and Christian radio. They do all the research and I harvest the goodies, while giving them the credit and benefit, and I have donated some bread a few times to WVCY- 107.7 FM- Milwaukee, but you can catch it on the Web too. While driving today, I heard the comparison of Obama's soon to be 'youth conscription' that looks exactly like the old 'Hitler Youth movement' of the 1930's! He doesn't hide much or leave much to the imagination. But with the dumb-ed down school system which I doubt teaches history anymore, how would anyone under the age of 50 even know or remember these things? Few people these days find History or the Bible refreshing and/ or interesting. Not to beat a dead horse, but I find it amazing how fast we we are changing in the USA over night into a Socialist state, where we can count on losing most if not all of our freedoms. Digging deeper, the Republicans are just as dirty, guilty of passing this Socialist One World Government back to Bush #1 and beyond! [Sp?] Fabian Socialism, just taking a stab at what I heard was pushed hard by the 'Kissinger group', of the Nixon era, but now I will have to go back and get all the facts straight. People in his tutelage are the ones in power now still doing what they do best!
But like a good level in carpentry or welding-- we always come back to the TRUTH of the Bible. I am still working the 'Jesus Button' regimen that was tested today [again], but it works at home. I don't lose my temper on the road much anymore.. so that's some progress. It's like 'spring steel' and always comes back to 'true,' if we continue to remember that all this political corruption, crap, is noting more than trash. I know that all real, biblical Christians must spread the Gospel to humanity as commanded and hold out the promises of Jesus Christ, the mercy of God to welcome us IF WE CHOSE TO HUMBLE OURSELVES and accept His Son. Sinner that I am-- I have a new, real happiness and joy for finally finding the key to drawing closer to Jesus, that works for me, and I will gladly share it with any honest hearted, sincere person. I offer my own email address: tschuckman@aol.com --that the wicked, cowards, fakes, scum bags won't do, for fear that they will 'blow their cover, and be found out-- they are afraid of the Sun [ and the Son].' Ha! They will all be exposed sooner or latter, and their only satisfaction comes from inflicting pain and misery just as they are led along by demons of the spirit realm. They know that their time is near-- just like the pesky flies in a Wisconsin Fall day, hungry for blood. Swatting a few gives me some satisfaction-- but why waste too much time and energy, when we could be praising the Lord? ! ? Matt. 7:6 tells about them aptly.
I own many versions of the bible, but from what I hear, the NASB [New American Standard Bible] seems to be one of the most accurate- yet easy enough to read/ understand. I see both sides of the argument, but for people coming out of our dumbed down [on purpose to keep the working class ignorant with "feel good" baloney] school system in America, I think that the KJV is too hard for most people to understand in a short amount of time! So some of the fundamental Christian churches feel that we need to get these younger folks on a crash course-- but still maintaining the accuracy of the scriptures. Sorry if I offend some of you, but that is what I have recently learned. The NIV is OK and tells things in a story -like format, IMHO. Use what ever you want-- but just use it! I don't want to waste more time in splitting hairs or being accused of being Legalistic, or myopic. I would rather let the small stuff go but nail the big stuff well. And if I am wrong or change my mind down the road-- you can nail me well... LOL.
Tomorrow ought to be another wild, woolly RUSH. But now to relax with some linguine and hot peppers. Deuce the Rottweiler went with me to day to get out of his rut too. Attached is a picture of our wonder dog, 'Deuce.'
P.S. I just heard on Fox News TV that Mr. Obama recently said that, 'America is NOT A CHRISTIAN COUNTRY.' Technically, he may be right looking at the 52% of Americans who voted for him. He got about 90% of the Black vote, the Gay vote, the Pro-Abortion, the anti-gun, most of the Catholic vote,and all of the atheist/ agnostic vote! Go figure. BTW, I am only quoting recorded stats... And God said to Lot... 'f you can find only 10 good men in the city of Sodom, I will spare the city....' Well, it looks to me like the majority of Americans voted for THEIR messiah, and now they will have to live with their decision. 'Time to pay the Piper.....' Woo Woo!

"Simply Jesus" ~ by Joseph M. Stowell.

I still can't say enough praise and appreciation for that small bible based book that Wayne Bielgaard gave me last week when I was down in the dumps, slightly bitter and upset about my wife's open heart surgery to replace the aortic valve. I will NOT speak about her state or progress anymore on this Blog until she is out of the hospital, safe and under my care only, protective wing, for personal reasons. She is far from out of the woods yet, however.
The book, SIMPLY JESUS, ~by Joseph M. Stowell, appears to be simply written, short and easy to understand, IF an honest person is searching for the Lord, or looking to get more from a personal, closer relationship with Jesus. Much info and teaching comes from Paul's letter to the Philippians, which is one of my fav. books of the bible and only 4 power packed chapters. For me, with the avalanche of super stressful events recently, this small book has been a 'God-send' for me, along with some expert Christian counsel from a new friend who has been very gracious and understanding. Other than the whole chapter 3 which cut me to the core and exposed my wrong headed mindset, self aborbedness, thorn in my side that has been a wedge between Jesus and me most of my life, I would like to quote Psalm 139: 23-24: "Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me and know my anxious thoughts; And see if there be any hurtful way in me, And lead me in the everlasting way." On page 18, it says that, 'if there is any bitterness, pride, etc, other bad things holding us down-- Jesus won't meet us on those playing fields. He'll just meet us there to pull us out of the ditch of our own ways, but He won't stay there with us.' This 'fine- tuning,' understanding of the way God works in us-- with us is key, and the missing part of the puzzle for me, at least.
OK, that was simple enough to say, but it maybe a tall order to fill... lol. In most of us, the problem of PRIDE has to be eliminated ASAP, if we want to progress with Jesus and be enriched spiritually. Well, guess what, that goes directly against everything being taught in our schools now days from 1st grade thru college! It is most certainly "politically incorrect!" All the so-called smart people with higher degrees and stations in life will come down on you like a angry bee hive and worse. They will try hard to blow up your APC with their RPG! You won't have many friends, and people will call you crazy, stupid and weird, among other things. But as the apostle Paul said in Phil. 1:21, "For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain." ~KJV. For folks like Billy Graham, the personal, close relationship with Jesus Christ, is/ was the highest point, achievement in his life! Paul counted every thing else in the world but a 'dung heap!' ~Phil. 3: 6. Hey! is that 'politically incorrect' enough for you?? Ha!
Reading and studying the bible is so important to me that I could equate it with ice cold lemonade in the middle of a furnace- like desert. It is my daily food and life blood. I will certainly need every scrap of scripture as these terrible 'end times' continue. Many of us are sick and tired of living in this cess pool of a Satanic wicked, 'politically correct' world, but we must stay the course until the Master returns to take us away-- or we die. And death is nothing more than A GATEWAY to Everlasting Life with Jesus for all honest, true unashamed Christians! Do YOU feel that way? Well, this is a litmus test, do you confess Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, and believe that the whole 66 books of the Bible are truely inspired of God, according to 2 Tinmothy 3:16, infallible in everyway?? Do you believe in Adam and Eve, Noah and the Flood? If not-- you are calling Jesus a liar [See: Luke chapter 3].
Hello friends! These words and ideas are NOT 'negative' but Joyful! I just heard a new term for so-called 'Christians' [CHINO's] who only go to church on Christmas and Easter.... lol. I will tell you latter, after some of the intense heat, and struggle for prominence and notoriety tame down in this part of the country. People like my agnostic Mom would much prefer that I just shut up, don't make waves and go with the flow --[like a dead fish... lol]. I guess I will take a 'breather' of sorts for now. And so happy my knees are feeling better.
If there is any silver lining in our black cloud of pain and suffering-- it was the peace and quiet of just settling back in my easy chair and climbing into these great, soothing books of peace and inspiration. Hey-- TV can wait, and that boob tube will NOT get me to heaven. Just like any other positive action or work-- if the farmer keeps on procrastinating , the farm chores, plowing and planting won't get done, and then the 'tax man cometh...' So is putting off reading the Good Book to get the real facts. Actually, the tax man already came and went in our household, and now there is a smile on my face today as I got the daily snail mail from outside. Woo Woo! Pay the bills.
I really hope that you all get the book I am now enjoying, and it's made a noticeable change in my life-- better late than never.
Another hint: If you want the wrong people to stop reading your Blog-- just talk about the Bible, and that will scare them off... lol. This is too heavy and boring for them to "waste their time" with. And then, real biblical Christian have their own "language" so it's mostly gibberish for outsiders. Their eyes are blinded by the god of this system of things. So that will be my 'ticket' until our business is all over, and it may take my mind off my challenges.

Disclaimer: I have endeavored to go back into my past Blog posts to delete any proper names of nurses or hospital staff that I mentioned. It was never meant to be mean-spirited or to hurt feelings and I will try hard never to that again. I only thought I could hold some people accountable for over seeing my wife's care and comfort as she is suffering so much lately. I am sorry if I offended anyone and only want to co-operate as much as possible while still maintaining my PATIENT ADVOCATE position of trust with my wife, Sharon.

Hello Dear Friends and Readers,
What a day! As soon as I got to the hospital I bumped into A doctor who began to chew me up one side and down the other, for publishing the truth in my Blog. Perish the thought! Poor old Soldier Tom's BIG sin...? I DARED to criticize the hospital staff on my Blog and actually used their FIRST names!! Ouch! I am pretty good at doing research and detective work so as to figure out who spread the word about my truthfulness that I have held fast to ever since I was a small boy raised by a strict but loving Dad. He told me that the 2 worst crimes/ sins in the Navy were lying and stealing. When a Court swears some body in, they say: "the whole truth, and nothing but the truth." As most of my old time friends know, I will try to be tactful and kind-- but I WILL TELL THE TRUTH AS I SEE IT ! Heaven save me from the wrath of the almighty medical community and staff of doctors and nurses-- those people [but only a small fraction] who think they are above the Law, who can not err or make mistakes!! Now would you like me to post medicals errors and wrongful deaths, surgeries that cut of the wrong body part,etc ....?? I have slaughtered their 'sacred cow' by being "politically incorrect !" Wake up, America! There is a two tier system and a dual Law here. The lower and middle class who are not 'well connected' MAY NEVER ponder or openly criticize why the TRUTH doesn't apply to some Americans -- but not others-- the 'Anointed Class'. Are we in India with a 'caste system??' And you better know that some prestigious 'groups' are so close knit that anything said about one person who has a condescending, aloft, ego-centric attitude or won't communicate with the patient advocate, just CANNOT be talked to in anything but a prostrated, humble peasant manner! Ahhh , yes 'the sacred gods of science and medicine.' I have always said how much I loved and respected talented, hard working doctors and nurses with their incredible healing arts, years of hard work and study! But it seems that TRUTH and Scriptures are ONLY APPLICABLE TO us underlings, the peasant class, and we are just plain stupid with no recourse to get proper hearing and input. We are required to answer for and be accountable for our actions, and when we are chastised or criticized we are supposed to just suck it up and try harder. I believe in the TRUTH and fair play! The Law says that we should all be accountable, and Blogging about something is one way to keep things straight to set the record and GET PEOPLE'S ATTENTION, when there seems to be no other recourse. The printed page works when dealing with unscrupulous politicians and gov't workers. AS a matter of fact, corruption will go on forever, until the spot light is shined on their wrong doing. OK, now....I expect to be murdered, slain for my beliefs and total acceptance of the Lord of Truth, Jesus Christ, I already know and accept that. Let these typed words and Journal testify to that fact and the hundreds of Patriot and Christian friends have my recorded facts to witness to that effect.
I promised A doctor today that I would 'candy coat' my Blog and NOT say anything naughty or controversial about the hospital staff, and most of us know the reason, don't we. If I stir up feelings of malcontent and tell the truth about the way my wife is being treated... accidents may happen. After all, Sharon's lungs are very bad and she is clinging to life right now. So I am going to play their game for now. I will not talk disparagingly of any staff members at Kenosha Mem. Hosp.
Too, I will no longer post ANYTHING concerning the treatment or progress concerning my dear wife on this Blog. I will email type of info and progress to specific people only, and I will expunge a few people on my email address list whom I think have caused problems concerning forwarding my Blog to the staff. Sorry, buy my wife's welfare rests in my hands and I will not jeopardize it by mouthing off about my own personal feelings anymore. So sorry. I might 'take care of business' after she is home free. Again I learned a powerful lesson about whom to talk to/ about/ blog and trust, and who not to. Anyone who works there at the hospital, full or part time, volunteer or what ever, will not have access to my personal thoughts and opinions. Steering toward another subject, I know from a life long study of God's Word, the Bible, that there is now a rapid falling away from ANY truth. If the truth ruffles some feathers,especially those who make the rules, sparks will fly and the truth tellers will have to bear the wrath of those in power. The Constitution is nothing more than a piece of paper, unfortunately, sad but true, and the Bible is scorned and made fun of. The Truth is only handy if it shows you in a good light. For a serious student of the bible [that means someone who have read the whole book cover to cover and STUDIES IT IN DEPTH, forever...] Jesus' words, "let your yes means yes and your no mean no," isn't valid, operational nor binding anymore for themajority of human beings nowdays. Sometimes that even bleeds over into our Legal/ Court system. If you commit a wrong and you are a well know, loved, celebrity or Congressman-- you can still get off the hook. Having money, being well-connected and famous CAN MANY TIMES get you a more favorable hearing and/ or a reduced sentence. [See: Bill Clinton, OJ Simpsom, and most congressmen... lol]. Our poor old working class is getting more ticked off by the day, not as dumb as the leaders think. Glenn Beck takes the unacceptable, 'politically incorrect' stance too, along with many inner core biblical Christians, History buffs, etc. I was surprised to see so may other resepcted writers and journalists who share the same values, interests and philosphies, zeal that I personally do! These are critical times that are hard to deal with, and they call for critical thinking and actions.
BTW, being an independent, Freedom loving, outspoken, TRUTHFUL Journalist, being published is a few local rags and perhaps finishing my own booki the near future and having my own attorney tell me that I can legally voice my personal opinion and beliefs, I know that I COULD write flowery, poetic, smooth, milk toast, mamsy-pamsy, flattering posts to tickle every ones' eyes/ fancy. I choose not to do that. I want to make a difference in the world, however small. I can hold my own in declaring the Gospel of Jesus Christ and defending the Bible [but I won't waste my time arguing with a FOOL]. The Union Grove City council didn't have any love for me either when I stood up several times in a big town hall meetings to slam what they wanted to do to many home owners in our modest, humble farm town... and at that time I fought hard against EMINENT DOMAIN ABUSE, and shortly after many states including WI passed a law prohibiting towns/ cities and local Gov't from hurting people by stealing their homes and property for an unjust nominal fee to build some stupid parking lot, etc! Yes, I had a small part in that and some called me a hero! I have at times had a hand in community action groups looking to make things safer for the public. My wife is an expert in ADA [THE AMERICAN DISABLILITES ACT]. I write my Congressional Reps. and Senators when I need to and so does my wife. And I am very vocal in laying bare all the corruption, lies, and butt dragging S.O.P's [STANDARD OPERATING PORCEDURES] of the VA system. If you were in combat fighting for your life, you would want me in your fox hole, OR IN A HOSPITAL fighting for your legal rights, you would want ME as your PATIENT ADVOCATE!! I am well known at AMC/ Chrysler for being bold and outspoken when I see / witness wrong doing, and I got several supervisors in deep trouble for doing illegal and immoral things. I am NOT a trouble maker or a busy body-- but this combat Veteran WILL fight back when corruption and wrong doing affects him or some loved one! I know well how certain entities don't like someone who bucks the system and the status quo-- but I am not a potted plant nor a toothless heel hound. What a day! As soon as I got to the hospital I bumped into A doctor who began to chew me up one side and down the other, for publishing the truth in my Blog. Perish the thought! Poor old Soldier Tom's BIG sin...? I DARED to criticize the hospital staff on my Blog and actually used their FIRST names!! Ouch! I am pretty good at doing research and detective work so as to figure out who spread the word about my truthfulness that I have held fast to ever since I was a small boy raised by a strict but loving Dad. He told me that the 2 worst crimes/ sins in the Navy were lying and stealing. When a Court swears some body in, they say: "the whole truth, and nothing but the truth." As most of my old time friends know, I will try to be tactful and kind-- but I WILL TELL THE TRUTH AS I SEE IT ! Heaven save me from the wrath of the almighty medical community and staff of doctors and nurses-- those people [but only a small fraction] who think they are above the Law, who can not err or make mistakes!! Now would you like me to post medicals errors and wrongful deaths, surgeries that cut of the wrong body part,etc ....?? I have slaughtered their 'sacred cow' by being "politically incorrect !" Wake up, America! There is a two tier system and a dual Law here. The lower and middle class who are not 'well connected' MAY NEVER ponder or openly criticize why the TRUTH doesn't apply to some Americans -- but not others-- the 'Anointed Class'. Are we in India with a 'caste system??' And you better know that some prestigious 'groups' are so close knit that anything said about one person who has a condescending, aloft, ego-centric attitude or won't communicate with the patient advocate, just CANNOT be talked to in anything but a prostrated, humble peasant manner! Ahhh , yes 'the sacred gods of science and medicine.' I have always said how much I loved and respected talented, hard working doctors and nurses with their incredible healing arts, years of hard work and study! But it seems that TRUTH and Scriptures are ONLY APPLICABLE TO us underlings, the peasant class, and we are just plain stupid with no recourse to get proper hearing and input. We are required to answer for and be accountable for our actions, and when we are chastised or criticized we are supposed to just suck it up and try harder. I believe in the TRUTH and fair play! The Law says that we should all be accountable, and Blogging about something is one way to keep things straight to set the record and GET PEOPLE'S ATTENTION, when there seems to be no other recourse. The printed page works when dealing with unscrupulous politicians and gov't workers. AS a matter of fact, corruption will go on forever, until the spot light is shined on their wrong doing. OK, now....I expect to be murdered, slain for my beliefs and total acceptance of the Lord of Truth, Jesus Christ, I already know and accept that. Let these typed words and Journal testify to that fact and the hundreds of Patriot and Christian friends have my recorded facts to witness to that effect.
I promised A doctor today that I would 'candy coat' my Blog and NOT say anything naughty or controversial about the hospital staff, and most of us know the reason, don't we. If I stir up feelings of malcontent and tell the truth about the way my wife is being treated... accidents may happen. After all, Sharon's lungs are very bad and she is clinging to life right now. So I am going to play their game for now. I will not talk disparagingly of any staff members at Kenosha Mem. Hosp.
Too, I will no longer post ANYTHING concerning the treatment or progress concerning my dear wife on this Blog. I will email type of info and progress to specific people only, and I will expunge a few people on my email address list whom I think have caused problems concerning forwarding my Blog to the staff. Sorry, buy my wife's welfare rests in my hands and I will not jeopardize it by mouthing off about my own personal feelings anymore. So sorry. I might 'take care of business' after she is home free. Again I learned a powerful lesson about whom to talk to/ about/ blog and trust, and who not to. Anyone who works there at the hospital, full or part time, volunteer or what ever, will not have access to my personal thoughts and opinions. Steering toward another subject, I know from a life long study of God's Word, the Bible, that there is now a rapid falling away from ANY truth. If the truth ruffles some feathers,especially those who make the rules, sparks will fly and the truth tellers will have to bear the wrath of those in power. The Constitution is nothing more than a piece of paper, unfortunately, sad but true, and the Bible is scorned and made fun of. The Truth is only handy if it shows you in a good light. For a serious student of the bible [that means someone who have read the whole book cover to cover and STUDIES IT IN DEPTH, forever...] Jesus' words, "let your yes means yes and your no mean no," isn't valid, operational nor binding anymore for themajority of human beings nowdays. Sometimes that even bleeds over into our Legal/ Court system. If you commit a wrong and you are a well know, loved, celebrity or Congressman-- you can still get off the hook. Having money, being well-connected and famous CAN MANY TIMES get you a more favorable hearing and/ or a reduced sentence. [See: Bill Clinton, OJ Simpsom, and most congressmen... lol]. Tom's Journal.

What I will talk about is nothing new under the sun and has been true ever since Jesus was put to death on the cross 2000 years ago. That His followers will be persecuted for one reason or another and killed for Jesus' name sake is part of our life and expectation, even if we live in the 'once great United States.' People look at me as if I were from a different planet when I say that we are fast approaching Socialism, and that the Bible says nothing about America-- and many say that it's entirely possible that America may not even EXIST in a year or two! China already owns us. I rely on the absolute truth of the Bible, and some History and Logic to formulate my ideas and predictions. I also think that we may have a new/ different currency in a year or two, and what do you think we can use our old paper money for then ...lol??
Let me talk about my main topic for a minute. The Bible and God's Will have not and will never change. He is the same God as when Adam and Eve were walking the earth. The scriptures record many times and individuals where the love of God, and His Son was the reason that true servants of the Lord were put to death. For the wicked, greedy, violent world to understand this is probably not possible. Satan continues to blind their eyes. Soon, very soon, the only thing left on this corrupt earth will be love of money and carnal enjoyment. The world will think that they have wiped Christianity out, or there will be a major compromise of so-called religion to worship a 'new god.' [See Rev.] And we ought to know how the real God in Heaven feels about that. It's His ball game, His rules and He will have things His way! I was a more sinful, selfish, prideful man 40 years ago, and was wise in my own eyes-- and that is why it took along time for me to find God. He hates Pride. After He humbles and cleans up a man, woman or child-- then He can and will use that person, but not before. As much as I love education and learning, I must admit that usually the most higher education a person has the more difficult it will be to find the Lord [or some people say, 'the Lord finds THEM]. And a majority of college professors are atheists now days -- so go figure. Many times it takes more than a few attention- getting whippings for God to drive the pride out of us. But the more I read/ study the Bible, the more humble I get.
So when we speak about the blessings and total reliance of God and His promises to protect and take care of us-- the more unbelievers balk and ridicule us, but that's what Peter said would happen! Just remember that Noah had the last laugh. Do you really think the Republicans or Independents can do anything about obama's hell bent destruction of the USA?? For we Christians it's a matter how things will come about to suit God's purpose, not IF it will come about. Latter on we will have all eternity to sort out how things fell into place. BTW, the devil is having a field day right now, creating such pain and misery with people running around like blind rats caught in on a sinking ship. It's tough sometimes to have the real faith in our Lord if something is lacking in our faith, but just like Daniel in the Lions' Den we can be sure that one way or another our God will do the right thing. Think about his 3 other Hebrew friends in the fiery furnace. Remember their names?? "My shack, your shack and a bungalow." Ha!
Other fellow believers help us a lot, but I found out the hard way that we really can't depend on ANY human being, as we are all imperfect and fall... but we have to have that singular, personal strength and wisdom that can only come from one source... the Bible and daily prayer. That's the way I see it, tonight, April 5th, 2009, Palm Sunday.
Tomorrow will be another day with it's own stresses and headaches.

A pair of bills introduced in the U.S. Senate would grant the White House sweeping new powers to access private online data, regulate the cybersecurity industry and even shut down Internet traffic during a declared "cyber emergency."
Senate bills No. 773 and 778, introduced by Sen. Jay Rockefeller, D-W.V., are both part of what's being called the Cybersecurity Act of 2009, which would create a new Office of the National Cybersecurity Advisor, reportable directly to the president and charged with defending the country from cyber attack.
A working draft of the legislation obtained by an Internet privacy group also spells out plans to grant the Secretary of Commerce access to all privately owned information networks deemed to be critical to the nation's infrastructure "without regard to any provision of law, regulation, rule or policy restricting such access."
Privacy advocates and Internet experts have been quick to sound the alarm over the act's broadly drawn government powers.
"The cybersecurity threat is real," says Leslie Harris, president of the Center for Democracy and Technology, which obtained the draft of S.773, "but such a drastic federal intervention in private communications technology and networks could harm both security and privacy."
"The whole thing smells bad to me," writes Larry Seltzer in eWeek, an Internet and print news source on technology issues. "I don't like the chances of the government improving this situation by taking it over generally, and I definitely don't like the idea of politicizing this authority by putting it in the direct control of the president."
According to a Senate document explaining the bill, the legislation "addresses our country's unacceptable vulnerability to massive cyber crime, global cyber espionage and cyber attacks that could cripple our critical infrastructure."
In a statement explaining the bill's introduction, Sen. Rockefeller said, "We must protect our critical infrastructure at all costs – from our water to our electricity, to banking, traffic lights and electronic health records – the list goes on."
Sen. Olympia Snowe, R-Maine, who is co-sponsoring the bill, added, "If we fail to take swift action, we, regrettably, risk a cyber-Katrina."
Critics, however, have pointed to three actions Rockefeller and Snowe propose that may violate both privacy concerns and even constitutional bounds:
First, the White House, through the national cybersecurity advisor, shall have the authority to disconnect "critical infrastructure" networks from the Internet – including private citizens' banks and health records, if Rockefeller's examples are accurate – if they are found to be at risk of cyber attack. The working copy of the bill, however, does not define what constitutes a cybersecurity emergency, and apparently leaves the question to the discretion of the president.
Second, the bill establishes the Department of Commerce as "the clearinghouse of cybersecurity threat and vulnerability information," including the monitoring of private information networks deemed a part of the "critical infrastructure."
Third, the legislation proposes implementation of a professional licensing program for certifying who can serve as a cybersecurity professional.
And while the critics concede the need for increased security, they object to what is perceived as a dangerous and intrusive expansion of government power.
"There are some problems that we face which need the weight of government behind them," writes Seltzer in eWeek. "This is not the same as creating a new federal bureaucracy setting rules over what computer security has to be and who can do it."
"It's an incredibly broad authority," CDT senior counsel Greg Nojeim told the Mother Jones news website, troubled that existing privacy laws "could fall to this authority."
Jennifer Granick, civil liberties director at the Electronic Frontier Foundation, told Mother Jones the bill is "contrary to what the Constitution promises us."
According to Granick, granting the Department of Commerce oversight of the "critical" networks, such as banking records, would grant the government access to potentially incriminating information obtained without cause or warrant, a violation of the Constitution's prohibition against unlawful search and seizure.
"What are the critical infrastructure networks? The examples provided are 'banking, utilities, air/rail/auto traffic control, telecommunications.' Let's think about this," writes Seltzer. "I'm especially curious as to how you take the telecommunications networks off of the Internet when they are, in large part, what the Internet is comprised of. And if my bank were taken offline, I would think about going into my branch and asking for all of my deposits in cash."
S. 778, which would establish the Office of the National Security Advisor, and S. 773, which provides for developing a cadre of governmental cybersecurity specialists and procedures, have both been read twice and referred to committee in the Senate.
