What a refreshing, cooler day with the sun shining out side! I just asked my wife if she wants me to grill some steaks and zucchini's in the back yard--- and she said, YES! We will both relax today after hard work yesterday. And I foolishly THOUGHT that "retirement" would be a life of ease and relaxation-- peace and quiet.... LOL. Well, at least brother Wayne B turned me on to reading special Christian books that drew my attention away from my own problems and calamities-- back to the Lord and His servants. I am just thankful that God has showered down so many blessings since we joined Racine Bible Church which is much closer to our humble hovel in our one-horse town that has too much traffic... LOL. But we have a low crime rate and our insurance is therefore lower than the big city... so far.

Even so, we are expecting all things to get worse world wide and here in the States as wickness, corruption or Gov't officials and "leaders" continue to mock God and try to replace Him with pagan, heathen and human 'achievements' that only make things worse. Having said this, real, Biblical Christians still take heart and rejoice, for they KNOW THAT THEIR SALVATION IS NEAR!! What a wonderful, positive prospect we have is we obey God's Word, the Bible, and do His Will. If you have any serious questions or comments, please feel free to contact me. tschuckman@aol.com

Sharon is doing better every day, but she walks slow and cannot lift any heavy objects. We praise the Lord for healing her and saving her life. I took her out for lunch yesterday, and we both had some delicious fish. Her stomach is still 'shunk' from her long stay at the hospital, so she cannot eat too much at a time, but takes the rest home for another meal. I hope that we can get our garden tilled soon so we can plant our fav. veggies!

Another great sunny Spring day where I believe I got somethings accomplished, including getting a
sunburn while reading my new Christian book about the persecution of Christians in China. I am full
of admiration, inspiration and zeal after reading how hard and dangerous those Christians have it over
there
compared to us rich, fat, lazy Americans. And I remembered that some parts of China are down
right COLD! I read where the author tried hard to use proper Chinese when penning that language in
the book, and I thought about memorizing some words to use on the people at the Chinese restaurant
that I love to eat at in Kenosha, WI., for a short witness to them. I have always been intrigued with
other cultures and languages.

The Oxygen Company guy came over today to deliver re-charged bottles of that precious gas so my
wife can breathe. We think that she will have to use oxygen 24/7 for the rest of her life, and that limits
what we can do and where we can travel somewhat. I use oxygen with my CPAP when I sleep at night.
Years ago we would have been croaked already, and that might happen yet as times get worse, and
Obama and the Dims might want to "thin the herd" to save money... LOL. That wouldn't
surprise me one bit. I hope some of you look into that new State of Montana gun law rights bill, etc.,
that might
be enacted soon, and that would throw a monkey wrench into obama's illegal power grab to force
un-Constitutional laws on the American people. But I really think that at the rate things are moving
down hill so fast right now for the worst, that something is going to pop before this year is over...
But that's just my personal opinion and observation that I won't clarify right now. The price of gas is
starting to go up again, and I THINK that it might go up towards $4/gallon by September. I am
desperately trying to pay off/ down all my 'plastic' $$$ NOW to offset the coming 'bad times.' We
are going
to eat more salads and baloney with our fresh garden tomatoes from the garden.

Sharon still gets dizzy and has trouble walking and is tired most of the time, but we think that she is
healing inside. Her heart/ chest area still hurts, and she may not lift more than one pound of weight.
I was irritated that she could not help me a bit with some of the house hold chores, but now I figure
that will just be my job for the next few months, or what ever, as she slowly gets her strength back,
and then we shall
see what she can help with, if anything.

I enjoyed Glenn Beck on Fox TV exposing just how crooked ACORN was, and is, with multiple voter
fraud in 14 states so far, and guess who funds them??? We do-- the taxpayers! Community Organizer
get their money from US. Did you ever wonder how the obamas got so rich? Who about Jesse
Jackson?
I don't even think
that most Americans give a hoot anymore.
We [I do] have to be more disciplined and Bible oriented so as not to get steamed up about the corrupt
politics that will surely get worse.... and what I really mean is, people like ME, who are bone tired of
fighting every battle that comes down the pike, taking on the establishment when no one else cared to,
Let us see if the younger guys have the where with all to carry the sword and the torch. Sometimes
I still get 'side tracked' into thinking it's still MY fight [stupid politics] when my main, primary thrust
is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ! If we continue to pray, "let your Kingdom come-- let Your
will be done" -- we are talking about Rule from God-- from Heaven, not from man! Either we believe
what we preach, or we don't. The devil wants us to continue to 'polish the brass on our sinking ship'
while God's Kingdom draws closer every single day. We must understand that even if we are not
falling into gross sin-- we must remain PRODUCTIVE in God's interests in winning souls for Jesus.
After we die or are Raptured up, it will be too late. As Jesus told the parable about the Talents,
do we really want to show up with an 'empty sack' when the Lord asks us what we did with His interests?

My back yard is just getting too much for me to handle--- if only I could find a young man at church
to take care of that job, for reasonable pay/ compensation. Guess I will have to look in the papers.

The timing is Perfect! I am happy to post this and can't wait to see people/ unbelievers wonder why.... lol.

I met the new doctor at the VA today, but I always worry about giving them too much information, just like many of my Army buddies who "seem" a little paranoid. I smelled a rat, but tried to remain kind and courteous. I would say that we got along well. The waiting room smelled like a tavern, but I don't fault the Vets too much as they are trying to 'medicate' themselves one way or another. Now that I made the huge error of giving the doctor my 'Tom's Journal' addy, I will have to use more cryptic wording in my Blog/ Journal. He just Goggeled it on his PC and it came up on the screen. I think he was somewhat impressed.... but that could be a 'two-edged sword.'

It's time for lunch and I have not eaten all day. I want to take Sharon out for lunch just to get her out of the house for some fresh air. If it's possible, I would like to limit my intake of Gov't/ Dims controlled TV "News." Seems like 90% of it is just lies/ BS and negativity. The short work out yesterday in the back yard did me good-- and now I ache--- but it's a 'good kind of ache.' I have to help Sharon put her shoes and socks on so we can get going.
A friend sent me this article about Mars coming close to Earth in August. And no, I don't think it's the end of the world... lol, but it should be exciting. I just wonder if the gravitational pull will cause some ocean tidal problems, and you heard it HERE first! If Jesus is my Lord, Savior and Protector-- why should I even worry.

Bang! Sharon just changed her mind, ate an orange and wants to stay home now. Hey, you all know how women are, right? No problem, but I have to go buy the dog a big bag of food anyway, about 2 miles away at the country feed store.

The Lawn Mower started on the First Pull.

I couldn't believe my Sears Craftsman lawn mower started this Spring, today, on the FIRST pull! I am so out of shape and arthritic that I had to stop the mower every 5 minutes and sit down on the picnic table to catch my breath and rest my knees and back... lol. I could only do about 1/8th of the back yard grass cutting that grew to be about 8 inches high. We spend a lot of time in the back yard, eating out, grilling lunch, gardening and playing/ training the hound dog. And the sun shine really helps my skin psoriasis -- and I get the important vitamin D. Me and the sun are friends! But Sharon cannot tolerate too much sun, so she dresses accordingly and wears a hat.

I took Sharon to her scheduled beauty/ hair appointment earlier at 1PM, and our friend, Suzy, did a great job on my wife! Worth every penny, IMHO! So I think we got a lot done today, and I will certainly sleep good tonight. But Sharon left a piece of left over steak on the edge of the kitchen table at lunch time and the dog stole it in a heart beat! I told her so many times not to put food where the dog could easily get it..... duh. But I think that our good talk today had a good effect on Sharon, where we have to co-operate so I can manage the house keeping, as she is still on the mend and I don't want to see her get hurt or fall down. She uses a walker now to move around. Things are working out. I think I turned another corner and got my JOY back and love my wife more now that we work together. I said that it might be better if we eat our meals together at the kitchen table instead of by the TV. It's more of a "communion" that way, and kind of romantic. The TV is a "thief." I was so impressed with Sharon's new hair do that I took a picture of her this afternoon. Woo Woo! I serve HER meals now-- as she has always served me meals in the past. So I learned just how hard it is... 'and the shoe is on the other foot.' But I am not complaining and it's a labor of love-- and good for my humility [and my appreciation of her past hard work and service]. I bought some vitamins today and we always have fresh bananas and oranges to eat at home.

Friend, Wayne Bielgard, gave me another book to read, called, "SAFELY HOME" ~ by Randy Alcorn, about the daily persecution and martyrdom of Christians in India and China, that I just started to read today. Thank you, Wayne! Wayne conducts our group church Bible study at 0900 Sunday mornings, and then we attend the main worship service in the sanctuary. He is also the Christian Chaplin of the Milwaukee Brewers baseball club.

Well, next I need to find some good young guy from church [I hope] to help me with the yard work/ mowing-- and I will pay him well, and then we need to till the garden and plant it soon. I love fresh, organic veggies!

I have a Milwaukee VA doctor's appointment in the morning, or else they won't give me my candy. Sharon will be home with the cleaning lady.
Now for a quick shower and bed. Good night.

Temporary Shut Down of Chrysler Kenosha Plant Today

KENOSHA - Chrysler assembly lines will close across the country today as part of it's restructuring plan.

The automaker just filed for bankruptcy and agreed to shut down temporarily.

Meanwhile, Wisconsin lawmakers are looking for ways to keep the Kenosha plant open.

The company announced Friday it will shutdown permanently by December of 2010.

Well, Friends, I have had a love/ hate relationship with AMC/ Chrysler as I worked for them 30.5 years and retired at age 54, in 2002. I know for a fact that those hard, dirty and dangerous jobs on the assembly line chase most people/ 'new hires' away, but the pay and benefits were good. There were all many traumatic injuries, amputations, and deaths because of unsafe working conditions, like "HP Pneumonia" ,etc. The rest of us developed an immunity of sorts, but some say that we will carry those oil based lubrication and coolant mists and 'blue clouds' in the working place in our lungs forever. So... I strongly dislike to hear that 'I was lucky to have had such a good paying job!' I earned my pay every single day!

I want to stress that there is tons of evidence that the Local 72 UAW Union hailed Mr. Obama as their hero and savior time and time again, and they wanted us all to vote for him! See the: 'Kenosha, WI- Labor Paper.' etc. The Unions have always voted Democrat, as far as I can remember. The Union can be good and bad. It certainly protects the worker against tyranny and abuse of the slave driving supervision and cleans up unsafe areas and situations. But it also protects the lazy, worthless, drunken, drugged, abusive "worker" who threatens and disturbs other good employees. I personally have seen good and bad union stewards in my tenure, and abuses, favoritism, cronyism and nepotism .

Bottom line: In this case of Gov't meddling / Obama, Chrysler, and the UAW Union [an unholy alliance], IMHO, has made a pact with the 'devil' of sorts and now they are paying the price. Many people will suffer, including my friends, work mates and me too! But I saw this coming, and you can read my past blogs to find proof. Too, I don't believe or trust anything Obama, the Gov't or Chrysler and the Union say anymore. Sorry, that's the way I see it. Proverbs 3: 5. Too many lies and broken promises. The Company and Union just TOOK the retirees' Dental, Vision and Hearing benefits from us,without so much as any say-so or option, from what I heard.... and I expect more rip offs down the road. Rememer, that these benefits were supposed to be 'locked into the retiree's CONTRACT.' The Gov't/ Obama has plenty of money and bennies for illegal aliens who never worked in the USA, but not for disabled Veterans and retired workers.

It's NEVER a smart policy to brag how stable or rich you are concerning your job, investments, physical/ mental powers and talents. God dislikes the prideful one-- and will surely humble him/ her. Proverbs 8:13 says, "The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate." KJV. And 1 Peter 5:5 b, "... for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble."

It took me a long time to learn and apply these things, and I believe the Lord has finally humbled me thru broken bones and heart aches and Sharon's open heart surgery. Hey, we are arguing again-- so she MUST be feeling better.. lol. I grilled some sirloin steaks and hamburgers outside on the grill/ back yard, and bought her a "Welcome Home cake" to show my appreciation for her safe return! Still, she has pain and soreness, and it will take months for her to fully heal. Some of you are probably receiving her emails and 'thank you notes' by now, as she is catching up. I have so many chores to do-- like everything, but I feel lazy after the good meal. Many people welcomed her back to church and bible study yesterday morning, as I let her drive my power scooter.

I got another overnight parking ticket even though my license plates clearly show that I am Disabled. Where do they get some of these cops in Union Grove/ Racine County? I call City Hall, and they have the ticket erased/ dismissed because I have the legal right to park in front of my house, but those rookies just can't seem to understand Disabled Rights under the Law, or their own S.O.P.!

I have a friend named Bob Gibson, who is an Australian Vietnam Veteran, about my age, who sends me news and email from Oz, 'the land down under.' He mailed a chart/ graph to me that pointed out his Gov't is shafting their older pensioners/ people, but increasing money and benefits to "new immigrants" too! In other words, the people who worked all their lives are supporting the "newly arrived poor people." Let us all wake up to the fact that the "One World Gov't" thing is all over the place and powerful kingpins are pulling the strings. Some, many of my friends continue to fight for our God given liberties and freedoms, as is their right, and I continue to write letters to my Gov't Reps, Congressmen too.
But my MAIN focus remains fighting for my Lord Jesus Christ.

I am seeing and learning 'new' things in the Bible that have new meaning for me in 2009! Matthew 24, the whole chapter is important. Verse 6 says, "You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars, See that you are not frightened, for those things MUST take place, but that is not yet the end." That tells me there is not anything that I [we] can do to prevent these wars, etc., even if I [we] vote for someone whom I [we] THINK is right for the job. And, I am not to be afraid! Since these things are 'fore ordained by God' we must just sit tight and continue praising Him and doing His will. Even if there is a nuclear exchange-- it will not destroy all the earth and mankind. God promises to take care of that punishment during and after the Trib. Next, Matt. 24:9-10, Jesus says, "Then they will deliver you [Christians] up to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of my name. At that time many will fall away and will BETRAY one another and hate one another." Well, personally, I have seen this happen more in the past 10-20 years in other countries especially, but just beginning now in the USA as new stupid 'hate laws' are pushed and passed. Respected preachers have said that perhaps 70% or more of church goers are not really 'Saved' and will not make it. Sad. But I am not to worry about that or them too much, but concentrate on myself and my family-- if they listen. I can pretty much I.D. a biblical Christian quick enough, although sometimes I am fooled. I have been back stabbed, hurt and misled more than a few times in my life by false Christians, but I will still offer my friendship to those of like biblical faith. We must continue to pray, preach and share the gospel to ALL people until God says no, or the Rapture comes. Matt. 24: 11, "Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many." NASB. I could name a few... lol, but only those who are well steeped in serious Bible study will be able to compare and sort out those who truly speak the pure language of God's Word-- and those who just 'tickle the ears' of those in church! Also, the Lord knows HIS sheep, and they know Him. Again, 'by their fruits you will know them.' If people and leaders side with unclean, murderous, practices like abortion, euthanasia and sodomy, it's pretty apparent whose side they are on. No human has the cure to earth's woes and problems-- only God does. Pick your side NOW!

I keep finding out that more people are reading my Journal, although I will never know how many. Because of my disabilities, this has become the major way that I share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, although I always carry pocket bibles and Gospel tracts, info. What could be more important?? Tomorrow, Sharon will come with me to church, and she will use my own power scooter! I will give my walking cane a good workout, and rest easy in the after noon. The Holy Spirit will get me thru church with no sweat. I have been looking forward to this for a long time!
