Saints in the Tribulation?

Tom's Journal.
http://tomschuckmanjournal.blogspot.com/
tschuckman@aol.com

By some minor miracle I got restored to You Tube so I could enjoy some golden oldies, and bible based - music, and those cool songs really brought back the memories. But we have to be careful of some of the music. Some of the music may act as a 'throw back' or spark to old memories of 'wine and roses' and wild, crazy and foolish times that were tied up with the youthful heart. Lest we yearn for our old sinful days of lust and immorality, and unrestrained romance, or what ever-- for many of us before we came to know the Lord. Some of that stuff plagued me, and we should be shedding our old skins of rebelliousness and disobedience to God. IMHO. Please cut me some slack if I shared some old tunes with you guys-- as once upon a time I almost worshiped music and played my guitar in a few small local rock groups in the 1960's. Now days I have to be a lot more discriminating about the music I listen to. Music is very powerful and the devil uses some of it to manipulate people.

Some more details concerning the 'Saints in the Tribulation' were made more clear for me today, and I felt the need to share them with you. For me, it has certainly cleared up some erroneous mistakes/ mindsets that a few 'religious leaders' / websites sent me, and now I have the proper scriptures to defend the correct meaning of the Bible's true outlook on this subject.

Personally, I don't always know or get the correct info to stamp something, especially in a 'gray area' as being right or wrong over night. But if I can't immediately find the answer on the spot by research-- I just pray to the Lord for the right answer, and it appears to me one way or another a bit later. Wow!
The article below is one of these occasions, and now I am that much stronger and knowledgeable.

This also suggests that God may be using me to 'plant more seeds' personally [fruit of the lips], but also with bibles and literature dissemination,
so that the 'Tribulation Saints' might have something to help them 'put everything together' and figure biblical things out that they can pass on to others. Praise God in His mercy and wisdom. NO Christians will be "Left Behind" on the earth after the Rapture! But God is so merciful that He will allow some of those 'Left Behind' to repent and endure the harsh satanical abuse, torture and death of [of the Anti-Christ] those who finally find Christ in that horrible time frame. Better to be Raptured!
Beware false teachers/ leaders, false churches, organizations, cults [as you will know them by their fruits-- IF you know the Bible] -- by READING THE BOOK! The scriptures according to Mathew, says, 'Store up your treasures in heaven where moth and rust cannot consume.' Most people on earth think that they have to store up treasures on earth to prepare for worse times.... lol. I used to think so too. But our real survival depends on our close relationship with Jesus Christ, and being His servant means studying His Word to learn all we can about Him so we will make the right, correct decisions! I don't know of many people who can do this overnight-- but when Jesus returns, it will certainly be too late to play 'catch up' !! It's like anything else-- you get out of something what you put into something. You can't expect to draw money out of your bank if you don't first put the money in. Usually, building up that so-called 'nest egg' takes TIME and EFFORT. How long will you waste time??

Saints in the Tribulation?

By Ed Hindson. World Prophetic Ministry. Q. There are several statements in Daniel Chapter 7 that seem to indicate Christians will have to go through at least part of the Tribulation. Could you comment? A. These references are probably among those about the Antichrist, about whom Daniel says: “I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them,” (Daniel 7:21).“And he

Warning! Warning!

Medical Chips to be enforced

http://goldfuture.wordpress.com/2010/03/19/both-house-and-senate-health-bills-require-the-micro-chipping-of-americans-31810/

YOU TELL ME-- how any person or political party, grass roots org/ group will be able to stop obama-care ! Except for individual States running some agenda/ State Referendum to counter the Feds mandates and soon, I don't see how America will be able to stop the 'foul balls' from total pollution our once great country, which is already Socialist. And both political parties are corrupt and want POWER rather than true reform. IF THIS IS SO, what are you living for?? I suppose that people under 21 just don't know any different--being already poisoned and brain washed in public schools, and media. And the older people like me with arthritis are somewhat limited as to what they can physically do-- except pound on their key boards and Blogs.

The venerable Judge Andrew N., and his buddy, Lew Rockwell, ask people to visit a VA hospital and SEE how a 'single payer' health org works and looks like.....Ha! Wouldn't you civilian folks get a jolt... LOL !! The VA has done a lot of good things for me, but just walking through the doors make a person very depressed and sad, when you see all the Vets sitting near the entrance waiting for medical help. Sorry, but that's the bare truth of it. Some doctors and staff are great, kind and caring, but they too are hamstrung and limited as to what they can actually do because of the VA rules and regulations hanging over their heads. Sad...
But what I am getting at is that the majority of civilian doctors and patients DON'T REALIZE what it's like to have a 'single payer' health care system!! Just wait and see-- but by that time it will be too late.

My house keeper lady accidentally let the dog out and forgot about him, and a neighbor lady brought him back to our front door saying that he was running up and down the street, this morning, that is heavy with truck traffic.
That really upset my wife who was sitting at the computer table in the front room. I said that from now on, only I would let the dog out, and I usually wait at the door until he is done with his 'JOB,' and then I let him back in. he is too valuable to lose.... and that was a wake up call to us. Deuce has always stayed in the back yard until today. It rained all night with thunder and lightning and more this morning-- but we sure needed the rain in WI.

Take care.

Saved by the Rotty.

Tom's Journal.
http://tomschuckmanjournal.blogspot.com/
tschuckman@aol.com

Any day that I can get some sun on my body outside is a great day! The sun does my big body a world of good -- and it got me to thinking about grilling a few choice pieces of meat on the grill. I took a drive to the 'big city' to buy a few herbs for the lungs and breathing. Studying herbs for most of my adult life was a good thing. Last night, according to my wife, my CPAP machine [to help me breath with Sleep Apnia] alarm went off twice, and the wonder dog, Deuce, the Rottweiler woke my wife, and she nudged me-- as I stopped breathing twice last night! Wow! Some hound dog, who always guards his master and wife 24/7, and worth his weight in gold! He pretty much saved this old man's life, a few times, and my wife's too. Yes, he is a well trained 'service animal' but the breed is special in that he is highly intelligent in so many ways. He is also a greedy, chow hound, glutton, and a big baby who whines if he don't get his way and likes to mooch our human food, even when he has his own bowl full of dog food. We see Deuce as an investment and a friend.

Can you dig it--- we just don't know when we will die... in our sleep [and that is my fondest, merciful, compassionate wish], in a car accident, battle, or dreaded disease. All the more reason to be prepared NOW, get that Will taken care of, your durable power of attorney, wishes, insurance, etc. We have all that taken care of, but sometimes I still wonder if I left something out. Matter of fact, I was just discussing this subject with me wife... hoping to clear up the little things like the dog getting a good home, but I think that God will take care of him one way or another. But people will be hard pressed to just be able to feed themselves and their kids and they might be eating the dog's own food.

I was also going to mention the latest big earthquake on our Southern border with Mexico -- Baja area, but without much loss of life, and that's what the "News Media" looks at. Can there be ANY more doubt about the 'End Times??'
In my mind, the ONLY thing/ reason why the Lord would hold back the coming 'storm' and Rapture, is because He wants to SAVE every last human who is sitting on the fence who has a 'good heart' but needs a Christian to help win his or her soul to Christ. 2nd Peter 3:9 says, "The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance." [NASB]. But just 2 verses before that scripture, verse 7 says, "But by His word, the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for he day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men." BTW... real Christians can't help but share the Gospel of Jesus Christ when ever they can! They don't need to wait for some 'sheep skin' or "degree" from a human organization or church, but all are COMMANDED to go forth and preach the Good News of God's Kingdom, and Salvation thru Grace [not works/ deeds] through the ransom sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross! It is the HOLY SPIRIT that ALL Christians have when they are Saved that puts the correct words and scriptures in our mouth so that we can accomplish our service to God on earth. I sincerely hope that clears up the matter for all time. Some of us have different gifts and talents than other-- but that does not diminish our OBLIGATION to SHARE THE GOSPEL! Just claiming to profess Christianity or wearing some medal around your neck won't cut it.... sorry folks.'

MOST CINO's [Christians in name only...] have already put away their fancy 'Easter clothes', got a stomach ache from the candy [or booze] and are back in 'Satan's world', and the term Resurrection never made an impact on them even on this past Sunday. I count it a sorry loss that most of my relatives [even my own offspring] are still blinded by the devil's machinations and the rat race. But I never want to put them down, hurt them, or brag about myself-- a humble sinner who needs constant prayer and support. The ONLY thing I have going for me is that I am SAVED, have the Holy Spirit, God's Grace and solid bible learning/ knowledge. By myself, I am just 'dust in the wind' and my BEST day on earth, and 'good' offerings/ sacrifices are but filthy rags to the Creator and King.

I was supposed to get my regular injections to the knees today, but the Male/ Gentleman Nurse Practitioner, is on vacation all week, and so my appointment on the 8th floor of the Milwaukee VA clinic- Ortho, has been moved back until next Monday... lol. It's very hard for me to walk from one room to the next at this point after the past 90 days cycle of good shots have been administered. I hate to be so dependent and kept on a short chain to the mighty VA, and can only have pity on other pained people who don't get that special service/ medication. And to think that I once shunned long needles/ injections in the past -- but now I welcome/ beg for them! The VA gives me these tender 'mercies' for free-- but we have to play by their rules and regs.

Sharon has a hard time regulating her blood sugar and her blood pressure day to day, and it usually slips too low, making her very dizzy, sick and shaky. So she has to eat at the correct times, the correct foods, and most diabetics use a bit of chocolate to move their blood sugar up in between meals. Sorry to have to rag on my wife to keep her 'nose hose' on / Oxygen, etc., but I fear that she may have to return to the hospital if I don't watch over her like a hawk. The dog watches over her too. I demand that she keep a lanyard with whistle around her neck every day to call me, and her cell phone near her too in case I have to go somewhere. Pastor Schleigel, from U.G.B.C. is only a phone call away too, along with a few other church members, like Joe Belanger, etc., PTL.

Please consider praying for Joe and Doris Van der Mullen, and my dear Aunt in La Crosse, Kansas, Isabelle Schuckman.
Thank you!
Have a great day! And guess what?? It's tornado season!

Happy Resurrection Day.

Tom's Journal.
http://tomschuckmanjournal.blogspot.com/
tschuckman@aol.com

April 4th, 2010 The Wycliffe Bible Commentary, states in the Book of Acts 12:4, "Properly speaking, the Passover [AV Easter is incorrect] introduced the days of unleavened bread, but Luke uses the two terms interchangeably." But.... not to be a wet towel--even though we see more pagan baloney at this time of the year and commercial greed distorting the REAL MEANING of the RESURRECTION of our Lord, Jesus Christ, we say: HAPPY RESURRECTION DAY!! This ought to be our [all Christians'] 'High Holy Day!' The entire basis of our Christian belief system is pretty much summed up by the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and that is the basis of our hope in being resurrected too.

How many of us truly KNOW and Believe that we are SAVED by this selfless act of the crucifixion ?? Or is it just another excuse to get drunk and party down?
The true term, "Easter" comes from the Teutonic goddess of Spring and Fertility, and really, what do rabbits and eggs have to do with Jesus painful death and resurrection?
I was just wondering if we ever saw an "Easter Parade" with a scene of the Crucifixion and Resurrection of Christ... along with the cartoon favorites, rabbits and eggs, etc. Do you think Christ will be happy when He comes back and sees these perversions? I didn't see any of these things mentioned in the Bible. But people say, 'oh, we just do it for the kids.....' Well, why not do something novel, like reading the resurrection account of the Bible to the kids and teach them a few Christian songs...duh? When I was raising my 3 wonderful kids-- I didn't have to wait for some 'holiday' to buy them treats, clothes, toys, etc. Sometimes I think their whole childhoods were a holiday... lol, but I'll bet they will disagree. Fact is: I was very strict-- but I loved them all dearly, and still do. As it depends on me, I will NEVER allow/ see my kids to beg for bread. And I have actually seen young kids starving in Vietnam. That's just another fact of life.

Anyway, HAPPY RESURRECTION DAY, to all my friends and readers !

Sharon made it to church this morning with much trouble, and she kept falling asleep plus her blood sugar was low... very low. She dove into the bags of groceries after I shopped at the store for last minute items that I forgot yesterday and attacked a bag of Reeses candy as she was shaking, and that was her quick fix until we eat our roast Ham soon... a proper meal and balanced. I always make sure that we have LOTS of food at home all the time, frozen, fresh, canned, 3 kinds of fresh fruit, etc. People were so glad to see her at church, and that's what real Christianity is all about, IMHO.

Time to eat and relax.

Robin Vos uncovers corruption in Wisconsin.

Tom's Journal.
http://tomschuckmanjournal.blogspot.com/
tschuckman@aol.com

I consider Robin Vos a friend of mine [although I might embarrass him to say that...lol]. He has worked hard as a conservative to protect the State of Wisconsin from the scourge of the Dims' " tax and spending" that mirrors their 'daddy in the WH' --- same mentality. It would be great if some of my readers would help give him the publicity he needs to throw the spot light on the corruption in Madison. Our state is already in deep debt thanks to the Dim Gov and his henchmen, IMHO,
Thank you.

The Trains Keep Rolling

****NOTE***: If you cannot view portions of this E-update - especially video clips - please click HERE to view this E-update in your web browser.

If you've read the news or listened to talk radio these past few weeks, you've probably seen and heard a few stories about trains. This is because Democrats and Governor Doyle are making a last ditch effort to put KRM in motion. High speed rail has also attracted some press because of the controversy surrounding it.

However, not everything about the trains has been covered by the media, and since it's a significant issue with many facets, I thought I'd take this opportunity to provide an update on these projects.

HIGH SPEED RAIL

As you know, the high speed rail line that has been approved between Madison and Milwaukee is controversial on many fronts. First, it's an $810 million stimulus project that will require ongoing state resources to operate and to pay the capital bonding costs. It isn't really high speed, as it will initially travel at about 75mph and take the same amount of time to travel between the two cities as a car would. The roundtrip ticket price is projected to be $60. And finally, Governor Doyle entered into a no-bid contract with Spanish train company, Talgo, for two train sets with a price tag of $48 million.

A few weeks ago, I appeared on Upfront with Mike Gousha, opposite Bob Jambois, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation's general legal counsel. The debate centered around the no-bid contract issued to Talgo. In the interview, he accused me of Mccarthyism for saying the process was rigged. I was totally taken aback by his comments. Watch the entire interview below (click here if you can't see video):

A week or so later, after seeing the Upfront video, I was contacted by the vice president of New York train company, Alstom, who also took great issue with Mr. Jambois' comments. They sent me a letter they had written to the DOT last fall complaining about the bidding process. The letter explains that the claims made by DOT that no one responded to their request for information (RFI) process are completely false. Alstom also asserted that it's clear based on how DOT handled the situation they were simply stacking the deck to make sure Talgo was the only company to get the contract. Alstom further pointed out that DOT's claim that they went with Talgo because they are the only company to offer "tilting technology" is false and that most train manufacturers offer this.

The day I released the letter and this press release to the media, I was invited on Charlie Sykes' radio show to talk about it. Charlie posted a story about this on his website, however I was disappointed that the story didn't get more traction with mainstream media outlets.

Last week I participated in a press conference with Rep. Brett Davis and Scott Walker to introduce a bill that would put the brakes on the high speed rail project until the full legislature approves it.

Because the train is initially paid for with stimulus money a full vote is not required, even though we've heard from people all over the state who object to this train based on the ongoing operating costs that will be sucked out of the transportation fund for years to come.

The proposal for high speed rail was approved by Democrats on the Joint Finance Committee in February. At that time, I introduced amendments to require a private study of the ongoing costs. All my amendments were quickly dismissed by the Democrats on the committee. You can watch that debate here (click here if you can't see video):

It's unfortunate that because federal money is paying for this project initially, so many view it as free. It's not free money, it's taxpayer money, and it will have major long-term costs, the extent of which we can't even predict right now because we've not been given all the information.

KRM Commuter Rail

The KRM commuter rail line proposal has certainly gone through many transformations over the years. When it comes to process, this year may go down as the most interesting year for the proposal, yet. Though many backers blamed Republicans for so many years for not pushing it through, the line has become a more contentious and volatile issue this year when Democrats control both houses and the Governor's mansion.

First it was in the budget, then Governor Doyle vetoed it out. Then legislators waited until the last minute to finally put forth a proposal because consensus could not be reached between Milwaukee County representatives, the Governor's office, and those representing the rest of southeast Wisconsin.

The result was a myriad of different bills that sought to create separate regional transportation authorities all over the state. Finally, a public hearing was held, and the buzz around the Capitol was that KRM was once again dead. Yesterday, however, the Assembly Transportation Committee voted on a 52-page substitute amendment, written by Rep. Peter Barca from Kenosha. No member of the committee even got to read the amendment until minutes before the vote was taken.

Though we won't know every ramification of the bill until a final analysis is done, it's clear that it allows new taxing authorities composed of unelected, unaccountable board members to form all over the state and collect new transit taxes from Wisconsin families.

The last-minute draft also puts in place enabling legislation for KRM and appropriates $9 million from the transportation fund (already $30 million in deficit) for "incentive funds" that will go to these unelected boards.

It's possible this bill may come to the Joint Finance Committee next week. However, I'm hearing it's still unlikely the Senate will act on KRM before the end of the session this month. So supporters may have to wait for yet another session to resurrect this ongoing debate.

Last week I had the opportunity to be part of a Racine forum that featured Randal O'toole. O'toole is a senior fellow at The Cato Institute - a nationally recognized free market think tank. He has written many papers on urban transit and its unsustainable nature due to the massive government subsidy needed to operate it when compared to ridership.

I found his presentation very interesting, and thanks to the MacIver Institute, you can watch an interview he did for them. In the interview, he supplies a lot of different graphs and examples to break down the immensity of the subsidy for KRM and high speed rail (click here if you can't see video):

With Democrats knowing that voters are opposed to many of their proposals and that elections are looming in November, they will continue to try and ram through bills at the last minute. Having all the facts is always important and I'll continue to keep you updated on these and other important proposals as we approach the frantic-paced close of the session.

Lies of the Entitlement State

Tom's Journal.
http://tomschuckmanjournal.blogspot.com/
tschuckman@aol.com

I was blind sighted by this one. I didn't stop to calculate or think that all the folks who WERE working were paying taxes on SS, and not there is a deficit. This could and will hurting people like ME, and I will be living more poor than I wanted too, when I am too disabled to work anymore. Well... how wonderful! Sharon's visiting nurses who come over to our house to give her PT and proper hygiene and baths, etc., has expired too as of today. But they did help and teach her new things on how to take better care of herself.

I wonder how all the seniors feel now after putting their faith in obama and the ARPP that leaned toward the Liberals like Harry Belafonte, etc. Yet, we Christians believe that God has His hand on things, and His Battle Plan is already set in motion. Just as a small boy or girl asks their Daddy why he don't do this or that-- his mature wisdom trumps theirs, and Father knows best.

If I have not posted it yet, our new Sears Kenmore Elite refrigerator was installed this morning, right on time, by two Mexicans from Milwaukee, who were kind, smart and professional, if hard to understand [their English]. Lucky for me that I know a few Spanish words... lol. But Roberto and Ho Chi Minh did a great job of sneaking in that huge Goliath through the back 2 doors.
But that was another stressor burning my stomach and adding to my worries. Now maybe my wife and I can relax for a few days.

Lies of the Entitlement State

Will Grigg / Liberty Minute:
Days after Congress enacted the largest and most expensive socialist entitlement program in history, the New York Times reported that Social Security, the foundational entitlement program, is no longer financially viable. Stephen Goss, chief actuary for Social Security, says the program will be paying out more than it takes in this year. This tipping point wasn’t expected for another six years . However, owing to the job losses caused by the catastrophic economic contraction, Social Security tax confiscations are down sharply.
