What ever mischief and "politically IN-correct" tirades Mel Gibson gets himself into, I still love some of his famous movies, like Braveheart, and 'We were Soldiers', etc. I like his humor, and hope he gets saved. And one of my own pet peeves IS this "political correctness" thing, that is in fact a tool of the Progressives [read: Liberal Left] that is pushed on society to stop the real truth being proclaimed!

Too bad that most people in America don't realize how much tension there is living in an armed camp-- like the Israel, surrounded by hostile enemies that have sworn to wipe Israel off the face of the earth. [ I had a good taste of combat from 1968 to '70, in 'Nam... so I can empathize with them. ] If we were to count how many times war was averted even after rockets were fired, kidnappings, snipers killing people in the state of Israel, the scales would tip in favor of the Jews!! But, in a 'politically correct' world run by Liberal Socialists and Jew haters, [and I know just how it feels from my own life stories of being a conservative Christian...and not backing down], the UN and world is strangely silent when Israel looses civilians and soldiers from enemy gun fire--unprovoked. Hey! What's new... LOL?

This is one 'game' I can play and win--- because the Bible is on MY side and I read the Book! Ha! I can play, gamble and wager with any one, concerning exactly what WILL HAPPEN in the near future! The intense skirmishes, shootings, bombings and flotillas will continue until Israel will have to push back just to exist and survive-- and THEN THE WORLD WILL MOST CERTAINLY CONDEMN HER AS THE AGGRESSOR, while ignoring all the enemy provocations prior to! I like to simplify things, but I can give you the long and short version of the synopsis. But perish the thought that 'worldly' unbelievers would EVER crack open the Bible to read this for themselves. They are afraid that if they dare to open up that BOOK, they might have to stand accountable for their actions and then loose respect of their unbelieving peers and 'friends.' Sometimes I laugh at my own blog words and ideas, seeing some humor in the subject. When we are young we use our strength and muscles --- when we are older and disabled, we use our money and brains.

I just told my wife, Sharon, that I am unconsciously getting ready for Fall and Winter now, as I bought a heavy chain and hooks to pull people out of the snow drifts, etc, with my Big Ram 4 by 4. This was ingrained in me as a child by my Dad who had the same 'hard working farmer mentality' that he inherited from his fore fathers for survival through the centuries. No hand outs, endowments/ subsidies/ welfare in those days. Now the folks in the inner city, ghetto people don't share this attitude, because just like in N.O.,-- Katrina, they depend on the Gov't to take care of them --from the cradle to the grave-- you know, the Progressive [read: Liberal] way. The current U.S. administration's own inner circle is now starting to cave and resign because their 'hand out, welfare state, poor economic policies-- and dreams of grandeur gone bursting, are coming home to roost.
But do we really believe that Israel's troubles and woes will over shadow the coming rise in prices of wheat and gasoline-- and a bankrupt America ?? But our world community is all tied together now days and interwoven.

Are you ready for the RAPTURE?? Friends and Readers, I just want to hit on one important subject [because I felt the same way and was once troubled by this too...]. Too many people that I have talked to in my personal Christian ministry of sorts, have confided in me that, they just don't feel sure and positive that they can/ will go to heaven, and so they are afraid of the coming Rapture. Friends, I need to tell you all, and prove to you with God's own Word, the Bible, that ALL have the opportunity to be SAVED with the true prospect of heaven!! God STILL holds out Salvation to everyone on earth IF THEY REPENT and accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior! 2nd Peter chapter 3, verse 8, says, "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness, but is long suffering to us-ward, not willing that ANY should perish, but that ALL should come to repentance." [all CAPS-- mine]. ~ Defined KJV Bible. See: biblefortoday.org But there is a limit to God's mercy and His time table in ever moving keep His promise to His people, believers, and Israel too.
God cannot lie. The day will surely come when all true believers, soldiers of Christ, the dead in Christ, the Saints, WILL BE RAPTURED UP TO HEAVEN! And then the Holy Spirit will cease to move on earth, and the Great Tribulation will become a woe to the world causing intolerable sorrow, death and pain to all of earth's survivors until the end--Armageddon.

Well, I told Sharon that I would help her can more tomatoes in the morning if she really wants to, and I consider myself a 'man of my word.' It's going to be another 'tight' month, and probably a tight Winter too. Best to plan ahead, because the Gov't is honestly running out of other people's money, to where even our hallowed Social Security is in deep trouble now! Are you all really surprised?? Russia's wheat crop is cut in half because of wild fires and drought, so they are cutting exports too. Have a great day.

Again, here are some screaming [and I think, explosive headlines] that Americans should listen to and ponder. But foremost in MY mind is the threat of more aggressive 'flotillas' ready to sail toward Israel soon, to provoke the sovereignty of that small country --- GIVEN TO THEM BY GOD ALMIGHTY LONG BEFORE THE heathens were around! Many real, biblical Christians believe that theater/ hot zone COULD be the lynch pin that could usher in the RAPTURE, which would trigger the Tribulation of 7 nasty years before the earth is 'cleansed' of all evil. As I said before, I have tried to bet a substantial amount of money with a few people, that when that next war in the Middle East breaks out, ISRAEL WILL BE THE VICTOR!! Who would like to bet and put their money where their mouth is...lol? Israel will surely stand alone-- completely deserted by every other nation including Obama's Socialist USA.... but Israel WILL WIN THAT WAR! Duh... how do I know? My own mother and my son wouldn't take that bet. That limited war will most likely have dangerous 'ripple effects' but I am still looking forward to it. All my marbles and treasure is on the Words of the Bible-- on God's side. Come on, folks, place your bets right here!

I had a great and busy day today-- so far, as my dear, oldest daughter came over to visit and helped us with a few chores, including picking veggies from our mosquito infested organic garden. Barb was wearing shorts.... lol, and she got a few good bites, poor girl. Sharon and I took Barb out to eat a Prime Rib sandwich at a special place in Wisconsin near the IL border, famous for their Bratwurst. But what really warmed my heart was the chance to explain to Barbara what it takes to get SAVED! I also explained the Rapture, and the timing of the future [soon to happen] of the war in the Middle East involving Israel and her aggressive Islamic neighbors who want one thing-- to see Israel wiped off the face of the earth! We gave Barb some of our fresh tomatoes, a small book about being 'Left Behind.' Barb said that she does believe in the Bible being the true Word of God. So I have a good feeling in my heart today!! PTL.


It's only 79 degrees in S.E. WI today with some sprinkles and high humidity. My good friend, Steve Brulport, insisted that he come over now to mow the lawn.... and I feel very blessed to have buddies/ friends in the Lord, like him. Some of the younger brothers are helping us at church too, but I think a dear friend named Joe B, may have suggested that to them. Sharon still has plenty of pain if she is on her feet too much.

ARE YOU READY FOR THE RAPTURE?? I am, but instead of just waiting for that grand event to happen--- ought we not to share the Gospel as best we are able? If any of my blog reading friends out there knows of a good place to purchase more inexpensive pocket Bibles to share-- free to those interested people in the field/ world, please get back to me. Is Another Great Divide Coming? By Jan Markell www.olivetreeviews.org August 4, 2010 Amnesty for 20 million illegals? That is what the faith community is pushing for including Catholics, Mainline Protestants and the National Association of Evangelicals. Compassion and common sense are at war. To brand all illegals as suspects hardly seems fair, but talk to Americans living near the southern border. The character of some illegals is that of destruction. They have destroyed property, livestock and human life. They have broken into homes and stolen everything not tied down and some things that were tied down! In recent weeks, 23,000 Mexicans have been killed in the drug war along the border. Kidnappings in Arizona have broken all records. Most Americans appreciate the generations before us who went through hellish ordeals to come to the land of the free. My paternal grandparents fled the Czars of Russia to become merchants in America. They, along with millions more, endured filthy steerage quarters with one faucet for 200 people. Ellis Island was no picnic either. Sick kids were often sent back to the old country leaving parents in agony as to what to do. These immigrants paid a price beyond dollars and America is much richer because of them. I wrote about this in a true story, Gone the Golden Dream, published by Bethany House in 1981 and now out of print. People of faith--both liberal and conservative--have now entered into this amnesty drama. The religious Left formed the Isaiah solidarity prayer vigil and fast across the summer. Members include Jim Wallis's Sojourners, United Methodist, Presbyterian, United Church of Christ, and Episcopal Church agencies, left-wing Catholic groups like Pax Christi, and the Islamic Immigration Center, among others. These organizations have a two-fold goal of legalizing the illegals and also of re-electing Barack Obama. All on the Left need the immigration vote to survive. But in the fall of 2009, amnesty for illegals became an evangelical issue as well. The National Association of Evangelicals (NAE) adopted a pro-liberalized immigration stance that is creating ripples among its conservative membership. They are calling for a path to citizenship for illegals and "a realistic program to respond to labor needs." Here is the resolution. Sen. Chuck Schumer, no friend of evangelicals, called this "a moral imperative for all people of faith." Schumer read letters from other evangelicals signing on including NAE official Joel Hunter and Willow Creek's Bill Hybels. Hybels is quoted as saying, "We believe that most Americans would be moved to pass comprehensive immigration reform if they could see the faces of immigration as we have seen them." These leaders also stated that many of these illegals are actually evangelical Christians who are in their denominations by the millions. Richard Land of the Southern Baptist Convention, and other notable conservative Christians, have signed on to An Evangelical Call for Bipartisan Immigration Reform. This document calls for all the right things until it gets to amnesty for illegals. But plenty of evangelicals and conservative Christians are hesitating! The NAE Web site reveals only 11 of NAE's over 40 member denominations endorsing the immigration stance. And only 11 individuals are signers, though reportedly 75 NAE board members voted for it. The question is, where does Christian compassion end and practicality rule in light of the fact that our borders are being crossed by some who seek America's demise or will contribute to its demise through crime and violence? The publication Human Events reports on the flood of Other Than Mexicans (OTMs) into America. Over l80,000 illegal aliens from countries other than Mexico were apprehended from 2007 through mid-March 2010. Even our State Department has acknowledged that tens of thousands are from Middle East countries and even Africa. There is evidence that blatant terror groups such as Hezbollah have illegally crossed the border into the U.S. Tattoos have been found on drug gangs in U.S. prisons showing the influence of Iranian-directed Hezbollah terrorists. One of my radio guests who must remain anonymous has information that radiation has crossed our southern border on at least three occasions. Spell that dirty bomb. They're here. And many faith communities want to legalize them. According to Christianity Today, polls show church members are deeply divided on this issue of amnesty for illegals. The often-quoted commandment in Leviticus 19 that "you shall not oppress the alien" provides no clear guidance on how the United States should set limitations on immigration.The question still remains, how do we balance justice against mercy toward those who have broken the law? And the United States is not analogous to ancient Israel. Biblical "sojourners" are not easily comparable to modern-era illegal immigrants. The "foreigners" in ancient Israel were non-Israelites who were permitted to pass through or reside in Israel. They were required to comply with Israel's laws and respect its customs. Though most faith groups insist that their motivation represents a "Christian" rather than a "political" agenda, the 20 million illegals seeking amnesty will be quite a boon to the political Left. Illegals given amnesty could sway elections in 2010 and 2012. While many conservatives leaders mourn the dismantling of America by the current socialist regime, they are playing into their hands. Handing Barack Obama a second term as president in 2012, thanks to the illegal vote, could spell the demise of America as we know her. Capitalism is hanging on by life-support. I think when Christian conservatives sitting in the pews learn that their leaders are pro-amnesty for illegals, they might have grounds to be a bit upset. We are dealing with the most hostile-to-Christianity administration in history, yet some conservative Christian leadership seems to be okay with that and will assist the efforts of the Obama administration thanks to their push for amnesty for illegals. I believe the future of America should come before amnesty for 20 million illegal aliens and others crossing the borders, some of whom are blatant terrorists taking advantage of the system. I believe the hearts of the evangelicals are right but their motivation lacks common sense. To suggest that these illegals are members of evangelical churches seems to be a stretch as well. While a small remnant may be, the majority would not be found in the First Baptist Church of any city. Church members have every right -- and an obligation -- to quiz their leadership and to regain assurance that compassion and not politics are at the root of this action. Our nation is divided now -- yes, those crazy red states/blue states. Are evangelicals and conservative Christians about to hit a big divide as well? Is there coming a great divide between pulpit and pew as members find out that their leaders are contributing to the daily dilemma of a tanking America? The Real Crisis.

Every once in a while I find an article/ post that gives me a different slant on things that are so in-line to our time period/ 'Last Days' today. This certainly has a bearing on my every day life and future planning, investing, spending and expenditures. The old adage that I may have over used: "Why polish the brass on a sinking ship??" certainly applies right now in August of 2010. When true Believers and servants of Christ are Raptured up to heaven-- who really cares about our material things left behind? Sure, we need to keep our property clean and in good repair, but... is this really the time look into long term investing or buying a string of luxury houses all over the world to keep up the appearance of being cool and fashionable?

My wife and I need the central A/C to keep us healthy with our health concerns and ailments, but I wonder if I really needed to paint the house just because I got tired of the dismal old color.....lol. Actually, the color is about the same as THIS blue type I am using right now, and it sticks out in our conservative rural small town in Wisconsin. But the Main Street is under going a "beautification" campaign, so I suppose I am fitting in well.

I guess I am always '2nd guessing' myself and worrying too much about the 'small things' when the BIG things of the fast changing world are more important. What is of great interest to me is the subject of perhaps the majority of so-called 'Christian' churches in the USA -- going apostate by serving up a bland 'feel good', materialistic type of Gospel, and I know of such churches in our local! Personally, I think that they are missing the point and going astray. What is worse is that many churches are STILL trying to promote political parties as having the POWER to change things on earth to replace God's promised Salvation and divine promises and prophecies!! Only Jesus can and will bring about the proper change. And how about the Gay and Illegal Alien agendas? Not to mix religion with politics, but the Liberal agendas of today do have a direct bearing on our Freedoms of Speech and Worship... as guaranteed in our Constitution.

I had to keep a VA Hospital appointment today for a blood draw and exam-- lost a few pounds and lowered some cholesterol, but my BP was up-- "white coat hypertension." I try to hide my strong dislike of even being there as I always have to be on my guard, to articulate perfectly when I am talking to the staff. Sorry, I trust them NOT. I will be looking for a new health giver there-- a MALE PCP, who might be more sympathetic for ortho/ arthritis pain, etc. It has been my experience that the female staff don't much care if you have terrific pain every day or not. Until the RAPTURE comes, I would like some sort of relief so I can have some sanity and mobility, so I don't have to pray and 'psych up' every time before I get on my feet.... LOL. Don't worry, things on earth will only get worse-- just as the Bible says. Yet mankind still thinks that positive 'Change' will come about by "human hands" and intellects...LOL..Ha! They still don't understand what extreme WOE will shortly come after the Rapture....

I usually carry a bunch of pocket bibles in the power scooter basket when I visit the VAMC in Milwaukee to give to interested Veterans... but the carved wood sign hung on the back of my seat...of: Philippians 1: 21, "For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain." -- gets a lot of attention. It's a witness in itself and I get many favorable comments on it all the time. And when that happens I like to leave a bible tract or small bible with them, but I kind of ran out.

The traffic in the big city is snarled with so many air heads on the phone, not paying attention, plus the perpetual road repair and construction in WI... but I just have to learn to put up and shut up about that, it's never going to change. What got to my mind and heart today was all the pitiful older Veterans I saw who were in much worse shape than I was. Amputees in wheel chairs, the infirm, dying, crippled, disabled, deformed by war and surgery. At least they are getting some modicum of medical care from the VA. It all made me think of how blessed I still am. I also felt that many of the Veterans were lonely and depressed, and we all have respect and courtesy for each other, as they nod their heads and smile at me as I wear my Vietnam Veteran cap and have a few insignias on my power scooter and shirt, and tattoo on my left shoulder that includes: "Jesus is Lord", ---that reflect having been a helicopter crew member, etc. I still hold our collective camaraderie dear, and if a specific group of Americans need to get Saved-- it's the Combat Veterans!! I have personally made that one of my main goals-- as much as I can.

Well, the mosquitoes in my back yard have come home to roost, and I MUST pick veggies in the garden TODAY, and drag the trash out to the back alley tonight.

Time to kick back and fellowship with my wife. She seems to be getting better ever so slowly, but her back still gives her plenty of pain.

But without those honest, brave people who share their pain and discomfort-- the rest of us would feel so alone, and like freaks-- thinking that we were the only humans to suffer ailments, and how we get some relief by comparing notes and remedies!

I feel good that I followed some mentors' wise council to reach out, take a chance, and do something special with my life! But we always have to keep those accomplishments, ribbons and medals in prospective, humbled by the mighty power of the Lord God in Heaven, and His Kingdom-- not our own--ought we to seek and share knowledge of. My old, constant mantra: "BALANCE" ... turned into a daily prayer, 'Lord, please give me the proper BALANCE in life...' And be careful, too, not to use the crutch---'IF ONLY I HAD BEEN RAISED IN A BIBLE ORIENTED HOME, BY REAL CHRISTIAN PARENTS, ETC, ETC.' If we never made mistakes, fallen down, skinned our knees, fractured a bone, or suffered loss, how could we ever relate and comfort our dear friends and children who did fall?? Or... 'If the dog had not stopped to take a dump-- he would have caught the rabbit....duh.' IF, IF , IF... Let's be realistic, friends!

OK, now that we ARE true biblical Christians with experience and knowledge of 'God's Game Plan' -- how ought we to run our lives in these 'perilous times?'
~~2nd Timothy 3:12, says, "Yea, all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. [13] But evil men and seducers shall wax worse, deceiving, and being deceived." And then, Chapter 4, verse 2-3... "Preach the word; be instant [urgent] in season, out of season, reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound [healthy] doctrine, but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears, [4] And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables." --- From the Defined KJV Bible, and I added some definitions of the uncommon terms in this text, found on the bottom of each page, to show you all how easy it is to understand, while still being the MOST accurate version. Well, folks, this scripture tells us where we are right now in 2010, and ain't it the truth?! All the logic and wisdom that we had as a godly nation- America-- 60 years ago, has been turned up side down-- in a 'Planet of the Apes' type of world, where all things sacred and holy are being trashed by a ultra Liberal minority of Socialists in power right now!!


Let us say/ assume, that a cluster of about 34 'signs', the Bible says must happen at the same time, are already in motion and highly visible RIGHT NOW. Jesus said, 'if only one tree starts blooming with blossoms in late Winter, we can assume that it's a fluke. But if ALL the trees start blooming and with fruit, we ought to make no mistake-- that it's Spring time and normal!!' The time is now, RIPE, and very understandable that we are pretty far down the pike and so close to the Lord's return/ Rapture, and that super event will set off the Bible's spectacular chain of events! Toot, Toot! Here comes the long awaited train! Just how, what kind of lie will the Gov't use to explain the instant vanishing of MILLIONS of people from the earth-- all Bible reading/ teaching/ believing Christians?? Many 'Left Behind' will remember what was said to them by simple Believers like me and other Christians in their Blogs, Journals, books and Christian Bible churches all over the world. But they will all have to deal with the harsh and horrible reality of life on a violent, godless, poisoned earth, and then martyrdom. Logic would tell me, 'If I HAVE to deal with that stark situation-- I will, buy WHY would I want to choose that existence when I COULD be Raptured painlessly to Heaven in glory with the Lord ?? Ponder on this thought.

I needed to get a few items at the store this morning as my wife was too stiff and tired from the Fair yesterday and stopped off for Chinese lunch, where I started telling a brother and sister that I used teach ESL [English is a 2nd language], and I offered to teach them too. Now as I sit home thinking, I wonder if I really have the time to drive all that way, 22 miles, to teach them, with my infirmities.... but I will give it a try, between VA/ Doctor visits and taking care of my wife. I may have bit off too much. I need to give my wife a bath/ shower before Sunday, and pick the garden, when all I feel like doing is to sit down in my EZ chair and watch some TV...Ha! Hey! I am just trying to illustrate the term: BALANCE, in these 'End Times', and my 'undercover' ulterior motive-- goal is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, with the two young Chinese people, along with the English I am teaching them. They asked me, 'how much I would charge them... and I said, 'Nothing.' I have done this before, no problem. Now... how to get a Chinese Bible....

If there was ever a time to 'lay up our treasures in heaven by doing the Lord's work' -- it would be NOW! On your feet, Soldier! Just do what the Bible has always told us to do-- SHARE THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST, any way you can. Christians ought to know and expect that the very next thing the Gov't will pull, is our 1st Amendment of FREE SPEECH! TV, Radio and Inter Net will be silenced next so that we can't share true Christianity, and also expose the works of the devil and his human agents.
