Winning one big battle is not the same as winning the war-- my dear, fellow conservatives and friends. Be careful what you wish for-- and get your [our] priorities in order for the long haul. For my fellow combat Veterans whose advice and comments I value-- we ought to realize all that goes into a war/ battle campaign, and even the Bible talks about 'logistics' of keeping/ fielding an army for any length of time. I will always remember the time when I first got to Vietnam with USARV [United States Army-Vietnam ---group/division] and was near Saigon [Ton Son Nuit] waiting to be deployed to my permanent duty station in Cu Chi, RVN. I got 'in-country' about one month after the BIG Tet offensive of 1968, and heard about the VC--enemy working their way through the officers' golf course and heading toward OUR Mess Hall. So our company, etc., placed 300 men around the mess hall determined to hold, guard our food-- because the Army can't function without their food! Our troops then pushed back the enemy and gained full control again. I know this sounds humorous but it's these 'logistics' of feeding and fueling an army that MUST be done to keep it ticking/ alive and operational.

I like the new House of Reps. Leader from Ohio --suggestive Leader, John B, but he will need full and complete cooperation from all this party and House to stand up to the Obama sneaky, dirty tactics. And what should we think about Obama and his rats taking another luxury trip to India right now when so many Americans are worrying about food and jobs?? You see-- when you get to be old enough to compare this Prez with others, since JFK, you get a better mental image of the absolute arrogance obama sports ALL THE TIME! And this has got to be a high Security nightmare too.

Having a back ground in Federally mandated Securities and Investments about 10 years ago with PFS, I can't be too aware of what is predicted to blow into our laps in the coming MONTHS--HYPER- inflation, which means devaluation of our American dollar and it's ability to buy things. When I was yet in high school, people thought, "What good is an education in History good for?" For one thing, great disasters and tragedies of the past will most likely be repeated-- because PEOPLE DON'T KNOW THEIR HISTORY!! It's all about human nature, power, greed, selfishness and sin. Nothing under the sun has changed in this world--even since Adam and Eve were kicked out of the Garden. Man is always so arrogant and proud that he just keeps on messing himself-- and then wonders why. The Bible shows the true and only way to be happy--- follow the Bible and serve God. But most people will try everything in the world EXCEPT embrace the Lord Jesus Christ. I was the same way for quite a while until the Lord humbled me with a large stick--because He loved me so much. It seems to me that my own grown kids see the wisdom of asking Dad for advice-- and I lead them right back to the Bible, and common sense. But now in the 11th hour, MOST people have not stored up treasures in heaven, nor bare essentials/ commodities/ some cash and silver in their own homes, and now are at the mercy of BAD TIMES, and a messed up economy done by human hands-- ON PURPOSE--World Governance! Human nature tells me that many Christians have dropped the ball too, having been unduly influenced by the world of Satan. Like I keep saying-- the ONLY thing we got going for us is our close relationship with Jesus Christ... but while on earth we will still have to pay the piper. When a country is so poor that you see young boys selling their sisters for immoral purposes-- you know where you are, in the gutter. But people gave no thought about allowing their corrupt Congress and Society from passing laws making ABORTION legal in the USA, and the Gay agenda. As for the future... the Bible tells us what will happen, and that Book has never been wrong. As an aging, disabled, old Veteran and retired auto worker, etc., I am limited as to how much I can do to warn people, but I witness and share the Gospel where ever I go.

I got a letter today from the VA telling me the exact date they want to cut my knee and make me 'bionic.' That ought to be a thrill.... or a pain...Ha! the first part of December so I can slip on the snow and ice... lol. This doesn't mean that I will be 'break-dancing' or running in some marathon any time soon. Prayers accepted. Thanks.

Sorry folks... I am having a ball [NOT!] 're-inventing' the NEW AOL structure, and what went there, where is this, how to do that, baloney, again. Seems like a Big Brother thing to me... lol. Seems like I lost all my fav U-TUBE songs, pictures, etc. I am so tired of being 'out of the loop', and I must be a mushroom because all they [AOL] do is keep me in the dark and feed me more BS! But don't worry folks-- AOL and the other robber barons will prob pull this stunt again NEXT YEAR!

I was pleasantly surprised and joyful to watch the election finals late last night and today, but after the champagne wears off, the Congress will have to play hard ball and NOT compromise with the Dims and tenant of the WH, who is still so arrogant and full of himself. Yes, I said, "NOT COMPROMISE." The new taxes and obama-care has to come down or starved, but even that won't be enough before the economic storm hits us. I am kind of proud that many of my [and my dear Christian friends'] fore warnings [ actually mostly Biblical] are coming true-- even as it will hurt everyone including poor old Tom. As man becomes more sophisticated in this 'modern era' he devises more lethal, more powerful things to blow himself up and hurt othes. "Man has dominated man-- to his injury.] Nations reach a "golden age" of power and enlightenment-- and then comes tumbling down to humiliation, decadence, poverty, and shame. You have heard of the old cliche: 'if that person had brains -- he would be dangerous.' Well, that is just where we are right now-- the silence before the big storm. Have we not seen some folks who are on the edge of going broke/ bankrupt-- and they throw a big booze party with porterhouse steaks and lobster-- putting on a show and denial... Shame-- Pity... Just like the proverbial 'hand writing on the wall' in Babylonian times-- people will party down until the storm of devastation slaps them in the face-- but let NOT Christians be so ignorant with this 'herd mentality', please, Lord.

And I 'talk a good game' too, but I have known real poverty before, and certainly don't want to go back to that era. I have a few safety nets, but God in Heaven is my real anchor and rope. The prediction of 6 months until HYPER-inflation sounds about right, but the devaluation of our American dollar [in a GOOD scenario] will make about 20% of our money/ savings, VANISH, over night, but that is just for starters! And the country's problems are very complex now as obama and the Dims have muddied most every lake and stream in the past 2 years-- and yes, Mr. George Bush was guilty of some too in 2008. Now is not the time to point fingers however -- but to formulate a hit list of priorities that will stem the bleeding of our nation-- at least for a short time. If Christians can somehow STAND UP AND BE COUNTED-- sharing the Gospel first and foremost, that would be a good start -- and the scriptures have much wisdom about money, savings, etc. But as I have been pounding my drum for the last year or so, God has His time table, and plan of action set and rolling already, and how can ignorant people say the 'Lord's Prayer' at Mathew 6:9, and not know what: "You kingdom come-- Your will be done" means?? God's Kingdom [or gov't] is NOT Socialism!!

Did I tell you all that I had to order 4 more hard cover, large print DEFINED KJV Bibles for Sharon's 'Nursing Home ministry' a few days ago? She has interested ones that she talks to who want a large print bible like hers at Woodstock Nursing home and rehab, in Kenosha, WI., and we ought to know that older folks have tired eyes and need larger print. If some of you want to help-- I am NOT asking for donations-- just your prayers, please. Sharon is a good trooper and I love her dearly. Her new Laptop PC only works SOME of the time, because the nursing home doesn't have their FiWi wiring up to snuff, and it isn't one of their main priorities, I guess. She doesn't have much space for all her clothes and belongings there either, but I will try to help her work something out. Far from fancy and spacious, it is cramped and she has a room mate, but gets along with 'Helen' who is suffering from early dementia, and is down to a skeleton frame for not eating right. I brought Sharon some fresh strawberries, apples and caramel dip today, and I love to watch her eyes light up with joy and thankfulness when I bring her gifts and presents of love. Bang! Well, here we go friends and readers! Two big events, IMO, and other keen Bible students: America will elect the law makers who will have a direct bearing on the future events leading to Bible Prophecies-- just around the corner! And, two: It looks like the Bible prophecy about America [which I mentioned a few times in past posts] being part and parcel of those who take sides and war against Israel. Bang! Sorry, it doesn't look good for US... or did we even think that we were too Big, Special and Mighty for God to 'discipline' .......
If God used other nations to discipline His own beloved, "chosen race" - Israel, will He somehow show US special protection to America, after we murdered so many thousands of unborn babies, embraced the Homosexual agenda- even allowing it into our Armed Forces, and started persecuting honest, biblical Christians right here in the USA-- but give free reign and special consideration to Muslims??? All while waring against Israel, the apple of God's eye!! Please... give me a break, Lefty- Loosey- Liberals-Progressives, and even many so-called 'Christians!' Get real, and READ the Book!

The answer is NOT hidden, but in plain view in this article below, for all to see. And it's more than just taking a "neutral stand"-- because with God, you are either black or white, hot or cold-- but NEVER lukewarm. But most people in fat, lazy America [sorry] don't know if they are shot, stabbed or snake bitten! They already have found their "Messiah" who lives in the WH. And BTW, how is it that some bum with no birth certificate lives in luxury in the WH-- while millions of Combat Veterans have to live in a cardboard box under some bridge?? Shame... Pity...
And woe upon that Catholic synod of Bishops [mentioned in below article] at the Vatican, who are waring against/ persecuting Israel-- and all those who still stand with Israel's enemies, in word, deed or opinion! Hey! I didn't say it-- the book of Amos did! Dang! It's so nice for poor old Tom to be right once in a while... lol. But guys and gals-- with the Bible, it's hard to be wrong. The main problem is that too many of us want to read things "INTO" the Bible that are not there. And going "beyond" the scriptures, adding or deleting, is dangerous, according to the last chapter of Revelation. It took me years to figure this out-- but now, being right/ correct is so sweet.

Here is the problem: If I had to make an educated GUESS of how many people would ever crack the Good Book open-- ever, I wonder if that number would be about 1/2 of 1% of the world population!! So when some folks claim that MILLIONS will be Raptured up-- that plural number could be anywhere from 2 million to less than one Billion people, I would think. We really need NOT worry-- because God in Heaven knows and controls that number-- " when the Saints go marching in." Actually, the term "Saint"s happen to be the 'congregation', or the Christian Church [not some building, religion or organization]. See: 1st Corinthians, Chapter 1, verse 2: "Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours...." You see, certain 'religions' say that the saints have to be SUPER HOLY, and for the most part, free from sin-- which is not the case. We are all sinners on earth until we get to heaven. And only God sees the heart. Bottom line: Do you want to continue in mental error-- or know the TRUTH of the Bible??? Ah... you will have to READ THE BOOK! Many churches seem to leave that up to the pastor or priest-- and never get to really know the Bible.
How many of my readers [over 100 of you dear people] have truly accepted the Lord Jesus Christ recently-- or ever? My oldest daughter has done just that this past month! God bless Barbara Ann Schuckman!

Sometimes I over sleep even though my new alarm clock wakes me up at 0700. I get up to take my meds and then lay back down to let them kick in and rest for an hour-- but I drift back to sleep again. I know there are special clocks to wake you back up again...
I am a morning person and have always been that way courtesy of working all my life, the Army and Chrysler. I mark things on the calendar and notes, "to-do" lists, and seldom miss an appointment. I like to work my butt off and then relax for a few weeks and try to keep things clean by not messing up. Sharon certainly did a lot around the house and used to be a great cook, but when I am alone I just eat some ham and cheese sandwiches, or grill some steaks or hamburgers outside in the back yard. I am just a simple old retired man with simple tastes-- have a few toys, like my big Ram 4 by 4, etc, and enjoy cherish my privacy, peace and quiet. I email alot to many people all over the world, but especially mature, Bible loving Christians-- my brothers and sisters in Christ.

I am slowly getting ready for Winter in Wisconsin, but the good feeling--'freedom from joint pain' is fading away [as is normal--one month after my knee injections from the VA-- and have to wait the full 90 days before the next series of shots/ relief... See: "obama-care"]. Happy to mail out all my bills, mortgage, etc., this morning, and not a second too soon... lol. Filled up one of my vehicles with gas-- nice to have a "B-Plan." Nice to have a warm house when the air temp is 40 degrees outside-- and it hurts to know about so many Combat Veterans being homeless in the USA-- while the Gov't hands out all the benefits to ILLEGAL ALIENS! AND.. the Homeland Security puts discharged combat Veterans on the 'Terrorist List !' Please watch the short video below:

No worries today, mate? Well, that's good to hear... but I had a short brush with hard times [as I tell my story once in a while-- NOT bragging, either] in the Winter of 1994-95 shortly before I got called back to work at Chrysler in Wisconsin, and it was like having a contagious disease like leprosy where no one wants to know you. That was when I truly found the Lord Jesus Christ, kneeling on the floor of my rented one room crawling with bugs. I only had 2 friends at that time: GOD and the VA.

The reason I think this subject is timely is that I believe that many nations including ours will experience much harder times in the very near future.. no matter who gets elected in 2 days!! Yes! We are that deep in debt, stabbed in the back, sold down the river by the "One World Gov't Globalists" and many of them in Congress!! I actually HOPE THAT I AM WRONG-- but everything and every honest research/ study points to the negative. Real, Biblical Christians have something special working for them: GRACE from the Lord God. So what ever comes down the pike-- we have that hope and trust from God, that He will keep His promise to us.

Sharon is doing well enough at the nursing home-- as I saw her again today after church, and I brought her fresh strawberries that she loved to pieces. I suppose that others must envy her having a good hubby to take care of her. I may hire an attorney to look into the "other" nursing home [Grand Prairie Rehab- Kenosha, WI] that neglected to give her the necessary medicine that messed her up royal-- and then they tried to lie out of it. Her own doctor told her to take action.

I told her, and many others NOT to be surprised if the Gov't, State and the VA cut services and health benefits after 1-1-2011, and many employers too. I am NOT a rich man-- and all of us except the very rich will prob. suffer--- BEWARE and BE READY! Ya know, Christian friends-- it would certainly behoove us to start planning ahead right now, stocking up and get into NETWORKING. You don't want to wait until the tornado or hurricane is upon you! Your neighbors may have something that you need-- and visa versa. But DON'T TELL EVERYONE WHAT YOU'VE GOT IN YOUR HOUSE, and only talk to people you trust with your life. In fact, I am going to mention this very thing at church-- to a few friends, just for starters. Tell me what you think about this, or how you might go about doing it, please.

This is pretty interesting/depressing and may make you angry. It was on "60 Minutes" last Sunday, but I didn't see it. However, a friend sent me this CBS link. We have a smaller "Stand Down" here in Chicago every late summer. I worked it a few years, but haven't been able to in a while. Back then, they were mostly Vietnam Vets.

The article below is a deep one, but I learned something good and valuable in college... "repetition is the mother of retention." However, when planting something of the Bible in our brains and hearts--IMHO, the Holy Spirit is needed to help us understand. And then-- what good is "head knowledge" if the heart is not transformed into a more godly, Christ like organ?? It's true that we CAN BE SAVED-- but what will we do with something that great-- hide it under a bushel basket, or let our light shine for others to benefit by? And I have heard pastors give feeble attempts to explain what GRACE is all about, but they fell short and lacked the English verbal aptitude-- and other people told me the same thing [and I have been in so many different churches..]. It's true that we don't all have the same 'gifts' and abilities, but how can spiritual leaders fail at something so important as this|?

Perhaps we just live in a very LAZY generation in the year 2010 where the majority of folks are functionally illiterate where the most important thing is gratuitous, selfish, greedy, pleasure. "Lovers of themselves rather than lovers of God."

I would really like to talk about something more joyous and happy! I don't have anything to complain about today and my wife sounds OK, PTL. But I think it's going to be a long, cold, lonely Winter for me, and I liked the Summer too much as it was more gentle on my bones and joints. I ended up turning the heat on yesterday for the first time this year-- and I though: 'Why should I get sick and uncomfortable?' But now I need to dig out my warmer Winter clothes and deliver some to my wife too. And I was thinking that from now on I don't need to eat big meals-- but just a normal serving of foods and more fresh apples and other fruits for snacks.

Yesterday, I posted some scary news about the new obama-care "health bill" that showers us with new nasty hidden taxes that will knock most of us to our knees-- but I figure that SOMETHING will be done in the near future so that riots in the streets don't happen.... Ha! The Republicans were so smart NOT to get suckered into voting for that monstrosity/ Frankenstein bill !! I personally envision things in America [and the world] getting much worse in the next 6 months-- but somehow we will survive in the USA, even if we have to eat less and tighten our belts. Death and misery go on, but true Christians have a very LARGE helper-- the Holy Spirit ---and God's GRACE! And that's worth more than all the tea in China.

I am trying to think of a way to get my wife to some closer church on Sundays, but perhaps I just ought to share Sunday services with her and a short bible study. Some folks see Sunday worship and church as something tedious and boring-- but real Christian understand the need to get together for prayer and encouragement.
