One of the big reasons that I throw in stuff about Rick Warren now and then is because some of my BEST FRIENDS who actually led me to the Lord 15 years ago got caught up in their church's attachments to Rick Warren, going so far as to study one of his books on a congregational level!! Hello! That church is: Baptist Tabernacle, on 80th Street, in Kenosha, WI ! My friends also got caught up in the 'Prosperity Gospel' and suggested that I check it out too, which I did-- but then dumped it. They got lulled into using the NIV Bible too, but even though I have my own strong feelings and opinions about that issue-- I don't make a practice of pushing my view on this subject. Although this scripture may have reference to the Tribulation, it still has bearing here: "For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect." ~Matthew 24:24. ~KJV. So... we can have confidence and courage that God has Saved us through the merit of Christ's blood, we STILL need to keep up our guard in these last days before the Rapture. This is my Bible based opinion on the matter of the 'strange and different gospels' like 'Purpose driven churches', etc. The devil is still extremely active now! Beware. I have personally 'fallen down' many times in sin, but the Holy Spirit has 'righted' me, helping me to learn from my mistakes and walk tall in the Truth of the Scriptures, PTL ! I have come to understand that I will never know how many and whom I have led to Christ-- until heaven. But it's bit like sales in finance and investments-- 'You don't sit back and count all your money sipping a Mint Julep -- but you continue doing your job every day and focus on your job!'

Right now in the world and America, we don't have a 'shortage of information' -- we have TMI -- 'too much info' on TV, newspapers, etc., and we must sort through that pile to get the honest, correct news-- the precious nuggets of Truth'. Remember, ALL Governments broadcast what is good for THEIR OWN AGENDAS,and many times lies. Take our national debt, for instance, how our gov't prints misleading- under estimated data-- incomplete trash, when the real truth is more extensive damage larger debt levels. But we don't want to be an ostrich by burying our heads in the sand-- but make sure we read and understand what the BIBLE says, predicts and warns! Have I EVER mentioned this before--Ha! ?? LOL!

Sharon continues to have very low BP--blood pressure readings every day, so she has to remain in bed for the most part so she doesn't get so dizzy and fall down to injure her self even more. I said that she should eat SOMETHING to boost her BP, but she keeps vomiting it all up! You would THINK that the doctors and staff could figure these things out and remedy the situation....duh. She does love the game of chess, and I turn it into a party atmosphere to entertain her, but also tell her what went on at church and hand her the bulletin on Sundays. We are going to have a great time together again after I church in the morning, and I will bring her some things to make her better-- food - fresh fruit and drink. Yes, I feel a sense of duty--visiting Sharon often but I also care for her and enjoy her company. All I have to do it to 'mentally change places with her' - empathy, and it makes me sad. And now her power chair is broke- AGAIN, which takes away most of her mobility. but I will have it repaired as soon as I can afford it.

I have too much on my plate this month --to spend more money so I have to 'prioritize' things and expenditures, or I will resemble the US Gov't--Ha !! They won't let me just print more money in the basement...lol. Sharon was moved to a new room: 252, at Woodstock Nursing home, and I will announce that at church in the morning-- Lord willing and the river don't rise.
It's snowing again in S.E. WI., and I sue hope it freezes because my back yard is looking like a muddy quagmire.

This is too good to pass up and not publish.... 'Singing Telegram.' And I found another piece of the 'puzzle' about my own 'disorder' that helped me out... PTSD.

The VA dental cleaning this morning went well and quick, and then tomorrow I have to take the dog to the Vet Hospital in town for a yearly shot and have his nails clipped too. I had a very fruitful day at the VA in Milwaukee this time visiting the Patient Advocate, telling her about the rough treatment, neglect, and abuse I got Post-Op surgery of my total knee replacement -- the week of Dec. 6th, 2010, and she [ the PA] seemed very competent and kind to me-- smart as a whip. I don't LIKE to make waves-- and only hope I have not opened a 'can of worms', but I told her that if the 'African-American RN's and staff of 3rd shift abused me-- what would stop them from abusing other Combat- Disabled Veterans??? I told her that as a Christian I would never seek physical injury toward someone-- but I knew other Veterans in the past who were stressed out and 'unbalanced' who WOULD return 'injury for injury!' It's reassuring to have another type of health insurance-- from Chrysler to fall back on, but why should I be hounded, abused, threatened, and forced away from the VA when I earned those privileges, and I got an HONORABLE discharge, and a 100% disability rating from the VA.
My truck is out of gas and my power scooter is low on battery, but I can handle that stuff soon enough. Gas is about $3.45 now in WI. I feel sorry for the guys and gals who have to commute to work every day over 10 miles. Things are going OK for me right now and not too much to complain about-- I just like to throw a few facts out there for some of my friends and relatives to keep up with, as I know that they are on a busy schedule. I made a beef roast that turned out good yesterday and ate some of it today-- but I don't have the apatite that I did years ago. And I just put the left over roast in the back porch which is cold enough to keep it another day.

I have determined to spend less $$ in the following months because there is nothing I really need to buy, and I like to pay off/ pay down my debt faster too. But not to worry-- inflation will eat up our money fast enough to sting us. Yet, living "single" frees up some money for me.

Question: How do you feel about 'relatives' who lack the spine bone to get back with you with an answer for your question even after multiple requests? Or just maybe they lack the 'social graces' or communications skills to tell you the truth, or at least give you a simple yes or no. I asked some 'relatives' twice if they would clip my dog's toe nails for pay $-- but I guess that they felt uncomfortable for some reason... or didn't know how to use the phone or email... duh. I pity cowards and sneaky people, and would rather not have anything to do with them. My Dad was not a great communicator-- but at least he got the job done. He even took some night school courses to improve himself and also developed his vocabulary-- which inspired me to do the same. The Navy taught him how to use a "Command Voice." I used to read the dictionary for fun! Now I use my PC.

A long time ago my personal attorney told me that Sharon had some special qualities and was therefore a 'rare commodity' [good pick]. Charles M, my lawyer, said that most women don't care to join in their husband's activities and sports, but Sharon did-- and liked it! He was referring to my sport of shooting pistols indoors at various shooting ranges, for practice and fun. Well, today I brought my chess board [and Deuce, the Rotty] to Woodstock nursing home and taught Sharon how to play-- and she really enjoyed it. I speculate that she is smart enough to master the game and beat ME in the near future... LOL! But you know what? A game like that can takes your bothers and cares away because you have to focus on that game-- for sure. It was a treat for me too this afternoon, and I spent more time with my wife.

Yesterday I told Sharon that I would try to 'MAKE TIME' to see her today, and she said that she would like just one cheeseburger from our fav. [THE SPOT] drive in hamburger joint that is open all year long -- hey this is Wisconsin! We're not ALL goofy Dims [Democrats] here. Actually, the State kicked most of the bums out and elected more conservative State Reps and Senate, plus the Governor, after the Dims drove us into deep debt. And even IF we can repair that terrible 'breach' --we will all feel the 'bite' of run away inflation, and suffer one way or another. No gain without the pain... sorry. If I personally spend too much-- I suffer too! But folks, this is all academic because well read/ studied CHRISTIANS KNOW that things WILL GET WORSE, according to the Bible-- which does not lie or mislead. The price of Silver shot up to $34.8/ ounce today, but copper went down. Why? for one thing copper is used a lot in new buildings [plumbing, etc] and houses, but not much construction is going on right now with out poor times and less spendable money/ cash.

I am already noticing some of my fav things no longer in stock in some stores! Special flash lights, etc. And I am trying to stock up on certain things right now, because I THINK that the USA will have a nasty tornado season in 2011, and I expect the loss of power/ electricity even in our better managed/ organized state in the great North-Central area. Eventually, I and many other knowledgeable friends/ experts believe that silver and gold will really shoot up this Spring and Summer-- like perhaps above $50 for silver, and maybe $5000/ ounce for gold. But if gas goes higher than $5/ gallon, that will cook our goose and the faltering economy BIG TIME, because that will drive up all commodities/ food, etc., but wages will not keep up with all the inflation. So what do we do? And here I go again--- seems like I will continue to 'beat this dead horse' forever... PRAY to get closer to the Lord God in Heaven! LEARN to eat cheaper yet nutritious foods, like rice and beans. LEARN to drink water instead of soda, quit smoking, can/ freeze your own fruits and veggies, grow a good garden, share with others, and be happy and content with what little you have. That's just my personal, humble opinion, folks. I bet we will see more motorcycles on the road this year because they are good on gas-- and I drove mine to work and back most of my life except the 3 months of Winter.

LEARN how to play chess instead of spending money on out side entertainment.

Having been a soldier in combat taught me how to save or at least manage my money-- only getting paid once a month and learning to eat 'what the natives eat.' It's a fact that most Americans are spoiled silly, too fat, and too prideful these last 60 years. also losing our good, hard "work ethic." I also thank and praise my parents for raising me right and teaching me manners and respect for my elders, etc.

I am so glad that I could entertain my wife today and spend some quality time with her. She still has a queasy stomach and is weak-- but was in good spirits today. We used to be so inseparable as she was my 'helper' in carpentry, welding, gardening, cooking, and we both had a great time in each others company, doing most everything together. We taught each other so many good things, but heaven is our home-- and that place will end all pain, suffering and weeping. I know that it seems illogical-- but as the times on earth MUST GET WORSE as Bible prophecy reveals-- we know that the Rapture is near too. Sooner or latter [and this is KEY] Israel will HAVE TO PROTECT herself from violent intrusions from her hateful surrounding Muslim neighbors, and the whole world will be shocked and surprised at Israel's total VICTORY over her enemies that only God can give her. THEN we expect the Rapture to follow shortly after when only true, Bible loving Believers will be 'caught up' into the heavens as Jesus 'collects' us !! You don't want to be 'Left Behind.'
Unfortunately, MOST of earth's people [just as in the days of Noah-- as Jesus foretold] will refuse to bow the knee to Lord Jesus Christ-- and suffer the dire consequences left behind on earth as the Trib starts. Personally, I have trained myself for many years how to witness to people about the Gospel, and Salvation through Christ, learning every possible way to present the Bible in a respectful, knowledgeable way-- but MOST PEOPLE just can't be bothered, are too complacent, smug, prideful, full of themselves, afraid of others' opinion of them, cowardly and/ or arrogant to accept Jesus as their personal Savior.

Have a dentist appointment in the morning at the Milwaukee VA and I better make it-- before they take that away from us too.

Anymore it is really hard to know what to believe. SNOPES EXPOSED Snopes is heavily financed by George Soros, a big time supporter of Obama! “…. In our Search for the truth…...department, we find what I have suspected on many occasions. I went to Snopes to check this out and they said it was false and there were no such dockets so I ‘Googled’ the Supreme Court, typed in ‘Obama-Kagan,’ and guess what? Yep you got it. Snopes lied. Everyone of those dockets are there. So Here is what I wrote Snopes: Referencing the article about Elena Kagan and Barak Obama dockets: The information you have posted stating that there were no such cases as claimed and the examples you gave are blatantly false. I went directly to the Supreme Court’s website, typed in Obama Kagan and immediately came up with all of the dockets that the article made reference to.. I have long suspected that you really slant things but this was really shocking. Thank You, I hope you will be much more truthful in the future. ************* That being said, I’ll bet you didn't know this. She was the Solicitor General for all the suits against him filed with the Supreme Court to show proof of natural born citizenship.. He owed her big time. All of the requests were denied of course. They were never heard. It just keeps getting deeper and deeper, doesn't it? The American people mean nothing any longer. It's all about payback time for those who compromised themselves to elect someone that really has no true right to even be there. It is time to start living as Christ demands!  We all need to spread the
gospel and memorize the scriptures because a time is coming when we will
not be allowed to own a bible and most likely we will be on the street.  --Mark Saitta,

Today... I am not crying or complaining-- just stating a few facts:  It snowed
again last night and then the
sun came out and melted some-- turning it into slippery ice on the walks, etc.
I asked a good friend of mine, Joe vander Mullen, to come with me this
morning
as my eye doctor [Debbie] dilated my pupils to examine the eyes better,
 and everything
turned fuzzy and distorted.  But |Joe is about 84 and his eyes are
not so good
either, so I ended up driving home, and we didn't visit Sharon like
 I planned.
It just would not do any good for big Tom to fall down and brake
something else.
At least I had some good company to visit and talk to while driving,
 but I am sorry that
I wasted his day.  I am STILL fuzzy-eyed from 10:15AM appointment
so cut me some
slack if I made typos, please. 

Well, at least it gives me more time to locate my old chess board, and BANG! --
 I just found it not more than 5 feet away from my PC!  I am trying to get
 Sharon's
mind off her own troubles and stimulate her mind with chess and Bible
reading.

Unfortunate, but true, America COULD experience scary legislation
or 'executive order'
stripping us of our Bibles, etc., in the future-- and I KNOW that many
will say I am just
a crazy old man still re-living the war in Vietnam.  But have we not
seen too much
already in America, kicking God out of schools, courts, and public
squares, etc??
I keep yelling at everyone:  "The President could not do anything
except for the
Congress OK-ing it !!  I suppose that violence and immorality are
the norm for our kids
now days, and just take a look at what is happening South of the border
-- many
killed, more than in actual war zones over seas!  Some of us may be growing
blind physically, but MOST of America is 'spiritually blind' now.  I have cited the
scriptures that prove this fact many times in this Blog... and there will
soon come a time
when Almighty God calls this message to a halt as the Great Tribulation begins.

I can trust very few people not to repeat certain things I tell them, and one
of them is
Brother Joe V, and Joe Belinger.  As I said before, the term, "Christian" now
days, nothing but a 'Buzz Word.'  Most so-called 'Christians' don't even know
 their
Bible or care to do the reading/ study!  When the real 'separating work'
comes to America
WHO WILL STAND ??  It's the same in the Army-- we are prepared for
 battle, but

the real test is combat itself!  Those of us who have experienced it
 are a "Special

Class" of warriors.  Even so, there will be more tests in the future.

Rapture Believers.

For some unknown reason, I felt better today even early on, as I went to church and had a good restful time, and learned some great things about the Rapture. We were hanging in 1st Thessalonians 4:17, and such... but better to just read that whole short book recorded by St. Paul, to get the real background meaning of it. And then people won't think that you took that verse 'out of context.' We want to be sharp and knowledgeable with the Bible-- but consider that Jesus Himself could not brake through the stone cold hearts of the Pharisees.... and we have many of those 'unbeliever types' alive now in 2001, Ha! so we 'suffer a mild persecution from those people' and during the Trib., God will further blind their minds and hearts until they are are destroyed and go to a very bad place reserved for them. And while we do serious research-- if you really wanted to hone your skills like a razor, READ THE MATERIAL A 2ND TIME! I remember that Print Reading for Welders, in college, was hard for me, and the instructor [who was a good teacher] said that sometimes a person might have to read the book 7 times to get the subject down correctly in our brain box-- even as his own son had to do.

I got some strawberries and grapefruits for my lovely wife in the nursing home and that lit up her eyes. She looked good and alert today and I spent a lot of time with her, and promised that I would teach her how to play chess. We were reading some stuff from the Bible today together and we were encouraged but we both need to read LARGE print Bibles these days. The old German proverb...'When one helps another-- both are strong.' But her tummy is so upset so that she gags just to smell the mess hall 'food' that is served there...so I gave her the herb, Fennel to sooth her stomach and make her sweet. Ephesians 5:28-29 says, "So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. 29. For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church...." What really made me angry today was the dry, cracked, unattended shins and legs of my wife, because the staff doesn't take care of the patients right!! I will bring in the right ointments and creams for Sharon and take care of her MYSELF! But is this kind of neglect and abuse what our insurance pays for??
Well, I still have some special, great skin cream from when I was in the KMH hospital called, Medline Remedy skin repair cream, and I will now buy some more of it. But as an herbalist, I know that I could make my own compound oil if I needed to. See: www.medline.com
So now that I have my 4 by 4 and my power scooter back in service, I can see my wife more often. She loves her new refrigerator too-- classic black color. Now I have to find that chess board-- or buy a new one. It will be so fun and exciting!
My spirits are up today and as always, I will try to make them last. PTL.
