Just what do people have against the TRUTH?  Those who commit crimes in the  dark night or when no one is looking, cover up the truth, and all men are liars according to the bible.  Whether we fear punishment, shame, retribution loss of respect among our peers and fellow countrymen-- it's all a concealment of the truth-- and who doesn't have something to hide, really?  Scripture says that Satan is the 'father of the lie', and the term, "devil" means slanderer [liar].  You know, friends, we can forgive a lot of personality flaws, traits, and shortcomings, but like my Dad used to tell me, 'Once a man lies to you-- you can never be sure if he is telling the truth after that.'  Lying was a serious sin/ offense in my family, and that liar would get a double dose of punishment [a good hard whipping with Dad's belt]  if he didn't tell the truth the first time.

I know I have been harping on the subject of truth the past few Blogs, but it's important for me to hammer that puppy home, because that should be how we 'see' other humans, including politicians.   From reading books of German national sociology of the past-- the typical German child was so instructed/ brought up to tell nothing but the truth that Nazi teachers, etc., at school could learn if that child's parents were loyal to Hitler or not-- even sending the parents to prison!  Sometimes I watch reality cop shows catching perps who will lie about everything trying to save their worthless, drugged up hide!  I am sure you know what I mean...

If the truth is ugly, revolting, opening a severe wound-- because you like that person, it sure does hurt you inside, right?  You become disillusioned and defensive almost to the point of ending a dear long time friendship-- if you refuse to learn the truth about something, or somebody!  I have ALWAYS said that if someone can prove something with the Bible-- 'I WILL ADMIT MY MISTAKE and take hold of the truth--even if it hurts or makes me look foolish!'  I hope all my friends will take the same stand.  I have had to "eat crow" many times in my life, so that now days I will only stick my neck out if I feel positive about something.  Just like passing on emails or jokes that seem correct, but when you check Snopes, you find that they are incorrect or false... lol.  

As for the 'New World Order' and ONE WORLD GOV'T, the Bible confirms that will be a done deal no matter how much we try to prevent it, work hard, get involved in patriotic organizations and movements!!  And many of my friends MEAN WELL, but 'why polish the brass on a sinking ship??'  Is that something that God wants us to do in these last days-- try to save or prolong a home country?  Christians may, and I believe, ought to VOTE for the person who will safe guard our sacred Rights and Freedoms so that we many practice our worship to the God of the Bible.  But God does have a main directive-- special work for us humans who "claim" to be followers of Christ?  See 1st Timothy, 2nd Chapter, 3 and 4th verses.  Hearing the truth about what will happen to our once great nation, for a multitude of reasons, including abortion, gay agenda, corruption, LIES, and turning against God's chosen people- Israel, hurts us-- hurts me, and God will ultimately call us on that.  NO ONE will escape God's perfect Justice!  Who's camp are you standing in, God's camp or some human Gov't or society?  No matter where you live on earth-- God can 'see' you, and the Holy Spirit either imbues you with that special Saving Grace, or lets you continue on your road to perdition/ destruction.  It doesn't matter if you are rich or poor-- you will be judged according to your  TOTAL allegiance to Jesus Christ, not some nation on earth!  If we led a hard, punishing, poor life on earth for 70-90 years-- why would we want to spend the rest of eternity in a much WORSE place?  If we are blessed to be wealthy, why would we choose to settle for just 100 years of the good life on earth, and then suffer in hell forever-- because we didn't choose Christ as our real Savior?  Ponder on this, please.

An entire crew of a B-29 (12 aviators) was rescued by a US submarine after their plane was shot down in 1944/570 miles off the coast of Japan. The entire rescue was filmed in color video but then sat in a guy's closet until now. This is a story from a Denver TV station of one of those rescued aviators to whom the video was delivered. It also shows their transfer to another submarine that is likely headed back to port before the one that accomplished the rescue.

Renew my Mind.

I feel that I have been blessed and forgiven many times, especially after I found the Lord  in 1995, but that was just the beginning of taking in more knowledge and then ACTING on it.  The subject:  "HOW DO I RENEW MY MIND" helped me understand just how ingrained our 'old personality' was, and some of us still fight courageously every day to turn away from temptations and thoughts that lead us to sin again.  For some folks, drinking abusively, drugging, smoking, obsessive eating disorders, chasing wild women, etc., are a real nightmare and major obstacle to peace of mind and harmony with Christ's teachings. 

It's my personal opinion, for what it's worth, that some folks eat to live-- and others live to eat... lol.  Some folks figure that after they 'gave up somethings that they really loved and enjoyed', like smoking and drinking wine to excess, they OUGHT TO HAVE AT LEAST ONE 'COMFORT GIVING VICE...'  I know that I have GOT TO GET A HANDLE on my eating habits and portion control.  Hey!  I fasted for 13 days after my knee surgery on Dec. 6th last year and lost 50 pounds, but that's not the answer either!  I think I gained it all back and now have trouble clipping my toes nails again!  I am so angry with myself.
When I worked hard every day on the assembly line at Chrysler Motors in Kenosha, WI., or on various welding jobs when I was laid off, I could manage my weight pretty well, and people knew me as a good power lifter [as I worked out with weights] with power and  strength/ muscles.  What a difference there is after a few accidents/ injuries, and radical surgery and retirement in 2002.  I was a very active guy, and I sorely miss all that now.  I love veggie gardening too.  I guess I am asking for some help and advice, but right now I am limited in what I can physically do.

I have even been contemplating selling my house and moving into a decent apartment in a good area back by Lake Michigan in WI... but the  house selling market is not so good right now, and I see the economy of the world getting worse.  On the other hand, I personally think that the world events and the Rapture might come at any time-- according to the " Heavenly Father's wishes and time table."  I strongly value and respect the wise council of my studied Christian friends, and will ask their opinions and thoughts on this matter.

Hi Friends,
When I post-- it serves me for the most part-- to help me tamp info down and remember it, but I always feel that others might have the same questions and thoughts about the Bible, current affairs and prophecy, etc.  I need to take time and explain [again] that my blog is not a cheery, 'feel good', smiley faced, entertainment sort of Blog.  I am mainly interested in finding and sharing the TRUTH, and also draw other combat Veterans together to share important facts and warnings about the VA system, and corruption, lies of that entity and the Gov't-- as a protection by arming fellow Veterans with important info, if possible.  Sorry if I disappoint some folks who don't care for my style.  My blog is also a way to keep in touch with friends all over the world --especially biblical Christians, and share some personal feelings and thoughts.

For the most part [99%], I get some very positive feed back, help, encouragement and stimulating insight.  THANK ALL WHO HAVE THE COURAGE TO POST COMMENTS AND EMAIL!   Living alone with my wife permanently in a nursing home 20 miles from my house has been a struggle and handicap for me, plus my infirmities and super slow healing and contention with the pain of arthritis-- sorry to complain so much, guys...and now I understand why some folks enjoy a glass of wine with their spaghetti, lol.  I have relied on constant prayer to our heavenly Father, and support from many friends-- even though many struggle with their own challenges and stresses of every day life and survival and diseases.  

And this brings me to the part about our dear country, America, and I am a history buff/ student.  There is a common thread thru the ages where many nations go thru a series of stages, from enslavement, enlightenment, education, freedom, a "Golden Age" of excellence, and then they fall into selfishness, greed, laziness, debauchery/ immorality, and then obscurity.  The Bible has the greatest true story of Israel going up and down, being blessed by GOD, and then scattered and persecuted.  America is no different-- and the short article below only reinforces my thoughts on this subject.   Even the great, powerful Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, was forced to admit that the God of the Hebrews was the supreme POWER in the whole universe-- and a king maker-- and king breaker, if He so wishes!  

America WAS greatly blessed in the first hundred years and beyond by God Almighty of the Bible.  But when people or a nation turn their backs on God and get so high and mighty, God withdraws His blessings and support.  It's just that simple-- whether you want to believe it or not!  There is NO other country I would rather be in, live in, even pay taxes in, serve with honor in the U.S. Army,  but the Bible says that the entire WORLD is soon to be having major problems, even the USA, as all of us know.  So many 'well meaning' Americans THINK that they can some how steer America back to it's greatness, by prayer, good deeds/ works, political endeavors, etc., but they lack the foresight that only serious Bible study with the help of the Holy Spirit can deliver... sorry.  The last redeeming grace we had left-- support for Israel, has been cut by the 'man in the WH', and our goofy Congress that WE elected.  That was the final 'straw that broke the camel's back, in my humble opinion !!'
I welcome your serious comments on this Blog/ Journal.

So... what ought we to do now?  Stay where we are, in America, face the music, pray like never before, for OUR individual salvation and others sitting on the fence, and grow closer to Jesus Christ-- act on His words, NOW!  Check out:  biblefortoday.org   -- for a good, solid DEFINED King James translations that aids you in understanding.  Unfortunately, Satan the devil has most of the world chasing their tail, trying to survive, scared, afraid, ignorant 'UN-believers' who seem to be blinded, but unwilling to STUDY the "Book" and serve the Lord.  The ANSWER is NOT total, slavish support for any one nation or putting your Faith in mere, mortal men/ human Governements, but to KISS THE SON OF GOD, and follow Him, and share this Gospel with everyone you can!  I use email, FB, my lips, letters, example [and I can always improve on that!], and:  BIBLE TRACTS, INC. -- P.O. I hope I don't sound a bit nuts, but part of me is happy about these "signs" predicted in the Bible coming true now, and the other part of me understands that much suffering is rolling down our path.  I regress: we  well-studied Bible loving Christians knew and preached that this was going to happen for years now-- but we didn't know exactly how [and how could we?].  The occult is forbidden in God's Word.  We were hanging on by our toe nails [and old welder's expression] before Japan got clobbered, and now the 'other' calamities have all joined in to start the chaos that will shake the world to it's foundation, and cause more riots. Hey-- we're just getting warmed up!

Trust the 'media', Gov't and even the churches to pretend that nothing is amiss or out of place.  Talk about Lemmings...lol, or '3 blind mice.'  And now at the last hour the majority of people on earth are stuck, trapped, and honestly can't do a thing to prepare for the worst.  Frankly, our American culture and bad habits moved us to continue to borrow more money [and the Gov't even promoted risky lending to people who could not afford to buy houses/ things!] so we could keep up with the Jones' and 'live the American Dream' by insisting to live in "NICE" houses, and drive fashionable expensive cars, etc., so that the birds ARE coming home to roost!  And look at how much money we spend on illegal aliens, even as they insult us every day! 

Those of us who claim to be real Christians will be severely tested too, and most of us are not rich in material things.  I won't be pointing fingers or laughing at other's troubles because I have some debt too, and having studied and taught Finance and investments-- I ought to know better.  

It's just a matter of time now before the world implodes, America too.  If some of you have read past blog posts of mine-- I was predicting late Spring to late Summer THIS YEAR, 2011, that things would come undone.  Maybe we can hold on longer, but I am planning on things getting much worse.  We are going down-- it's just a matter of time.   My God, the Bible, and my Lord Jesus Christ mean all that much more to me now-- as He is the only answer and salvation.  Ha!  Here I have been talking about it all the time and waiting for the actual battle to come, thumping my chest with all my so-called "Where with all" and now I am kind of panic stricken--- shoot!  This is the time where complete and TOTAL dependence on God comes into play!  

This is kind [our fragile economy] of like a great game of chess when one player has the other man's  king all bottled up from 4 directions and there is NO WAY OUT-- CHECKMATE!  Read Ezekiel 7:27, and you will understand me better.

The tips of some of my fingers are split open because of Winter dryness... so shall I keep this post short.  In my life time there were many preachers and teachers who have twisted the scriptures for their own purposes and agendas, and the subject of wine always comes up.  I don't much care what the real answer is-- but please just give me the TRUTH!!  The truth is that many people on earth abuse certain things and have no self control, so they feel they have to make pigs and gluttons of themselves-- and there by harm others.  But that factor doesn't give license to some pastors who take it upon themselves to change the true meaning of the Bible!  I found some very good reasoning in the article about wine-- concerning so-called 'forbidden fruit' that makes the desire all the worse.  I tried to be balanced with my own 3 kids, though falling on my face a number of times, but my intentions were good.  

What EVER man creates, makes, discovers, some evil person [ perhaps with the aid of demons] always manage to corrupt that good thing... like dynamite which saves intensive labor of miners and workers, but instead being used to make bombs to kill many other people.  Some say that God made life very hard to survive for Adam and Eve after they were kicked out of the Garden of Eden, so they couldn't cook up more mischief and evil-- the flood in Noah's time too.  'You will eat your bread by the sweat of your brow.'  BTW, even Americans will soon feel the same way with so many woes visiting the earth in these 'Last Days.'  I laugh at those goofs who continue to 'sit on the fence,' those scoffers of God's Word...Ha!

545 vs. 300,000,000

Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them..

Have you ever wondered, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits?

Have you ever wondered, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes,WHY do we have inflation and high taxes?

You and I don't propose a federal budget. The President does.

You and I don't have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does.

You and I don't write the tax code, Congress does.

You and I don't set fiscal policy, Congress does.

You and I don't control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does.

One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one President, and nine

Supreme Court justices equates to 545 human beings out of the 300

million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible

for the domestic problems that plague this country.

I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that

problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its

Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally

chartered, but private, central bank.

I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound

reason. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a

senator, a congressman, or a President to do one cotton-picking thing.

I don't care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash.

The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what

the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator's responsibility to

determine how he votes.

Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you

that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common

con regardless of party.

What separates a politician from a normal human being is an

excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall

of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating

deficits..... The President can only propose a budget. He cannot

force the Congress to accept it.

The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole

responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and

approving appropriations and taxes. The House members, not the

President, can approve any budget they want. If the President vetoes

it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to.

It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million cannot

replace 545 people who stand convicted -- by present facts – of

incompetence and irresponsibility. I can't think of a single domestic

problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people. When you

fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the

federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they

want to exist.

If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair.

If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red ..

If the Army & Marines are in Iraq and Afghanistan it's because

they want them in Iraq and Afghanistan ...

If they do not receive social security but are on an elite

retirement plan not available to the people, it's because they want it

that way.

There are no insoluble government problems.

Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom

they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts

and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power

to regulate and from whom they can take this power. Above all, do not

let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied

mystical forces like "the economy," "inflation," or "politics" that

prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do.

Those 545 people, and they alone, are responsible.

They, and they alone, have the power..

They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who

are their bosses.

Provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees...

We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess!
