The following article has REALLY helped me to understand Salvation so that I can now explain it logically to others!  I can't tell you how many times I had to re-read stuff like this and still be somewhat foggy.  In other words some things come easy for me and other things come hard for me.  That's a good reason for me to have patience with others.  At work, welding, carpentry, auto worker, etc., I learned the short cuts and devised a "system" for myself-- reason and rhyme, which I gladly passed on to others when I broke them in... and many will not do that.  Salvation is a BIG thing, and all important!

I saw Sharon again today, and prepared her with the news that I MIGHT end up going back to the hospital again because of my poor knee healing... and I would not be surprised if the VA messed me up, as they are both feeling worse than ever!  Trouble is, they have lied to me too many times so that I actually had to go to a 'civilian' hospital in Milwaukee-- St. Luke's [ better and better] to get the real truth...Ha!  I then brought that true info back to the VA where they said 'yes' to an operation, but the staff treated me like used toilet tissue, and then tried to make ME look like the bad guy!  Most of the Vets I talked to had a similar story.... sorry.  I sure hope that I am wrong about myself, and many tell me that the rainy season makes me worse-- humidity, etc.   But I can barely walk right now...  Sorry to complain, but if I help a few other Vets-- good!
    I have NO support group to help me if I have to have any surgery in the future, and that worries me.  I would love your prayers to help me make the right decision.

Today was the first time I commented on Brannon Howse--WVCY Christian Radio- Program from Milwaukee!  Wow!  He thanked me for my service in Vietnam and agreed with what I said about 'America shooting it's last bolt by abandoning the apple of God's eye- Israel.'   WE in the USA, generally speaking DESERVE some natural disasters for our 'community' sins, like abortion [Planned Parenthood], the Gay agenda, discrimmination against CHRISTIANS, a Besides prayer, voting for true Conservatives [lovers of God and Freedom] and writing/ calling our State Rep's, we should expect more hard times and calamity down the road [and I think, SOON].  He then elaborated on what he is doing to prepare for local disasters, and said that people are CRAZY if they don't prepare at least a little bit-- for natural disasters, and not to depend of the and poor treatment of Israel!  DON'T expect the Gov't to be there with help when these disasters/ what ever strike.  Look at Katrina!  

We are NOT Dooms Dayers, but doesn't it make sense to take SOME common sense steps to store up and prepare for anything that comes down the pike?  I just think that certain people who love the Lord and share the Gospel ought also prepare for unforeseen circumstances.  Brannon Howse comes from TN where they live on a fault line [earthquakes], and said that he just bought a tent, in case his house gets too damaged to live in.  What's wrong with that?  I figure that I have a roomy Ram 4 by 4 pick up truck I can sleep in and some camping equipment too-- but we always took our family camping, fishing, hurting when they were younger.   And that is why we have auto, health and house insurance too.  But when the Gov't is BROKE  $$$ and there just is not available services and assets, we must depend on ourselves!  I wish I could say that we can depend on our fellow Christian friends and churches, but frankly, from vast personal experiences, they won't be there for us when we are down.  Sad... most will NOT leave their "comfort zone."  And in the church I attend, most are like me-- old and disabled, and that's why I am just considering selling my old house and moving back to the larger city where I do have more reliable friends and assets, and maybe I can go fishing in Lake Michigan-- Kenosha, WI. Woo Woo! 

We know that most unbelievers love to spout off about: 'God helps those who help themselves' -- and then they go looting when there is civil and catastrophic discord/ disaster, like Katrina, etc.  And just look at how well mannered and civil the Japanese carry on even when their world is shattered!!  But then, they weren't raised with that "ghetto" gimme-gimme mentality.  I have never found that "scripture" .. lol, but Proverbs talks about the ant that works hard and stores up enough food for Winter, etc.  Bears eat a lot and put on extra weight right before Winter too, and some of us use that as an excuse to 'grow bigger.'   Ha!  I need to lose 100 pounds yesterday!  

Well, it's a nice sunny day, but my Mom says that it will grow colder tomorrow and maybe snow.  Too late to visit Sharon today, but she says that she is sick anyway and has trouble with her nervous, irritated stomach and vomiting almost everyday.

Lordship Salvation.

I know that I have to 'handle' this subject with tact so as not to 'wound' certain folks, but I can rely on my own life experience so I don't appear to point fingers.  Born into Catholicism and attending a parochial school in Milwaukee, I was never really sure if I would ever get to heaven according to our beliefs.  That was kind of scary when a young guy is in danger and combat... as I could have easily got killed and gone to hell forever.  How I survived all that plus a few bad accidents in the next 35 years is a mystery to me.. but God had SOME reason to save me and 'get me Saved.'  It certainly wasn't because I was a "good man."  

Well, after we do finally learn the real truth of the Bible-- being so blessed, it's not too hard to get angry at FALSE RELIGION that has led so many millions of people to hell, mostly for their greed and lust for power over others and filthy gain $$.  In the same vein, we have to exercise patience and long suffering in our waiting for the Lord to come and Rapture us Believers, because we might very well have been headed to hell just a few short years ago when we were NOT  born-again Christians!  That is why my wishful thinking and desire to go to heaven now to relieve my pain must be tempered with love for all those who need to hear the Gospel and get Saved before God starts to put His 'hammer to work!'  Whether it's a cult like the JW's or Mormons, or some 'main line' religion that has been around for centuries, it's all the same.  Teaching stuff that is un- scriptural is pure apostasy and dangerous to one's spiritual health.  Yet most folks will continue to cling to their false religion until they are in hell.

Do you want to do something about this??  Learn how to hand out easy to understand Bible Tracts and share the Gospel.  Are not your friends worth it?

I love it when special friends of mine are quick with scriptures that reinforce what all studied Christians know will happen in the future and RIGHT NOW!  FaceBook can be used for good or bad; spreading/ sharing the Gospel and bringing people to Christ-- or just laying down trash and ignorance, but remember that it is "Social Media" and open to the public...  Please remember that we could very well LOSE our freedoms and 'social media' in a heart beat.  Corrupt politicians say:  "Never waste a 'good' disaster."  That's the time they push something through, while the masses are either sleeping, or  scared and afraid, with a "herd" mentality, ready to bolt anywhere!

I would like to mention a fellow Christian and friend who served with me back in Vietnam with the same helicopter Army outfit, Jim Hood.  He has been helping me understand more about PTSD, our human failings,  but the Bible and God's grace can over come problems and challenges we have as individuals.  It's just good to know that I am not the ONLY person with like experiences-- so I don't feel so alone like a freak.  We have the same great love for the Bible, and he has given me permission to share some of his thoughts.

When we know that the Bible has accurately spelled out just what WILL / MUST come to pass regarding such current events like the earthquake and tsunami in Japan, we can take this as positive encouragement, and share it with others!
  I am still working on getting my last paperwork / documents together for taxes so my accountant can complete his work, and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel finally.  I saw Sharon yesterday and played a game of chess with her.  She has a new female room mate who seems very nice.  
I shared some of my roasted beef with my Rottweiler, Deuce, last night,  and today he is passing gas and driving me nuts!  Got to let him outside again so I can breathe.

Just what do people have against the TRUTH?  Those who commit crimes in the  dark night or when no one is looking, cover up the truth, and all men are liars according to the bible.  Whether we fear punishment, shame, retribution loss of respect among our peers and fellow countrymen-- it's all a concealment of the truth-- and who doesn't have something to hide, really?  Scripture says that Satan is the 'father of the lie', and the term, "devil" means slanderer [liar].  You know, friends, we can forgive a lot of personality flaws, traits, and shortcomings, but like my Dad used to tell me, 'Once a man lies to you-- you can never be sure if he is telling the truth after that.'  Lying was a serious sin/ offense in my family, and that liar would get a double dose of punishment [a good hard whipping with Dad's belt]  if he didn't tell the truth the first time.

I know I have been harping on the subject of truth the past few Blogs, but it's important for me to hammer that puppy home, because that should be how we 'see' other humans, including politicians.   From reading books of German national sociology of the past-- the typical German child was so instructed/ brought up to tell nothing but the truth that Nazi teachers, etc., at school could learn if that child's parents were loyal to Hitler or not-- even sending the parents to prison!  Sometimes I watch reality cop shows catching perps who will lie about everything trying to save their worthless, drugged up hide!  I am sure you know what I mean...

If the truth is ugly, revolting, opening a severe wound-- because you like that person, it sure does hurt you inside, right?  You become disillusioned and defensive almost to the point of ending a dear long time friendship-- if you refuse to learn the truth about something, or somebody!  I have ALWAYS said that if someone can prove something with the Bible-- 'I WILL ADMIT MY MISTAKE and take hold of the truth--even if it hurts or makes me look foolish!'  I hope all my friends will take the same stand.  I have had to "eat crow" many times in my life, so that now days I will only stick my neck out if I feel positive about something.  Just like passing on emails or jokes that seem correct, but when you check Snopes, you find that they are incorrect or false... lol.  

As for the 'New World Order' and ONE WORLD GOV'T, the Bible confirms that will be a done deal no matter how much we try to prevent it, work hard, get involved in patriotic organizations and movements!!  And many of my friends MEAN WELL, but 'why polish the brass on a sinking ship??'  Is that something that God wants us to do in these last days-- try to save or prolong a home country?  Christians may, and I believe, ought to VOTE for the person who will safe guard our sacred Rights and Freedoms so that we many practice our worship to the God of the Bible.  But God does have a main directive-- special work for us humans who "claim" to be followers of Christ?  See 1st Timothy, 2nd Chapter, 3 and 4th verses.  Hearing the truth about what will happen to our once great nation, for a multitude of reasons, including abortion, gay agenda, corruption, LIES, and turning against God's chosen people- Israel, hurts us-- hurts me, and God will ultimately call us on that.  NO ONE will escape God's perfect Justice!  Who's camp are you standing in, God's camp or some human Gov't or society?  No matter where you live on earth-- God can 'see' you, and the Holy Spirit either imbues you with that special Saving Grace, or lets you continue on your road to perdition/ destruction.  It doesn't matter if you are rich or poor-- you will be judged according to your  TOTAL allegiance to Jesus Christ, not some nation on earth!  If we led a hard, punishing, poor life on earth for 70-90 years-- why would we want to spend the rest of eternity in a much WORSE place?  If we are blessed to be wealthy, why would we choose to settle for just 100 years of the good life on earth, and then suffer in hell forever-- because we didn't choose Christ as our real Savior?  Ponder on this, please.

An entire crew of a B-29 (12 aviators) was rescued by a US submarine after their plane was shot down in 1944/570 miles off the coast of Japan. The entire rescue was filmed in color video but then sat in a guy's closet until now. This is a story from a Denver TV station of one of those rescued aviators to whom the video was delivered. It also shows their transfer to another submarine that is likely headed back to port before the one that accomplished the rescue.

Renew my Mind.

I feel that I have been blessed and forgiven many times, especially after I found the Lord  in 1995, but that was just the beginning of taking in more knowledge and then ACTING on it.  The subject:  "HOW DO I RENEW MY MIND" helped me understand just how ingrained our 'old personality' was, and some of us still fight courageously every day to turn away from temptations and thoughts that lead us to sin again.  For some folks, drinking abusively, drugging, smoking, obsessive eating disorders, chasing wild women, etc., are a real nightmare and major obstacle to peace of mind and harmony with Christ's teachings. 

It's my personal opinion, for what it's worth, that some folks eat to live-- and others live to eat... lol.  Some folks figure that after they 'gave up somethings that they really loved and enjoyed', like smoking and drinking wine to excess, they OUGHT TO HAVE AT LEAST ONE 'COMFORT GIVING VICE...'  I know that I have GOT TO GET A HANDLE on my eating habits and portion control.  Hey!  I fasted for 13 days after my knee surgery on Dec. 6th last year and lost 50 pounds, but that's not the answer either!  I think I gained it all back and now have trouble clipping my toes nails again!  I am so angry with myself.
When I worked hard every day on the assembly line at Chrysler Motors in Kenosha, WI., or on various welding jobs when I was laid off, I could manage my weight pretty well, and people knew me as a good power lifter [as I worked out with weights] with power and  strength/ muscles.  What a difference there is after a few accidents/ injuries, and radical surgery and retirement in 2002.  I was a very active guy, and I sorely miss all that now.  I love veggie gardening too.  I guess I am asking for some help and advice, but right now I am limited in what I can physically do.

I have even been contemplating selling my house and moving into a decent apartment in a good area back by Lake Michigan in WI... but the  house selling market is not so good right now, and I see the economy of the world getting worse.  On the other hand, I personally think that the world events and the Rapture might come at any time-- according to the " Heavenly Father's wishes and time table."  I strongly value and respect the wise council of my studied Christian friends, and will ask their opinions and thoughts on this matter.
