The Heart.

Tom's Journal. http://tomschuckmanjournal.blogspot.com/ tschuckman@aol.com

The pure Audacity!  Such a small 'postage stamp' country  [Israel] the size of New Jersey that the Muslims, and the rest of the world just can't leave alone, and the world has all but abandoned the 'children of Abraham' -- the "apple of God's Eye", including America!!

I just got my much desired book in the mail today:  AS AMERICA HAS DONE TO ISRAEL. [The result:  Massive National Disasters]  ~by John P. McTerman. About 300 pages, and I will start reading it soon.   I know it sounds like 'Indiana Jones', but I kind of liked that first movie too.  One thing for certain... you DON'T mess with the Father in Heaven.  He is very patient, long suffering and merciful, but He has His limits and Justice.  I fear Him as a young child fears to offend his beloved earthly father.  It's not a dreaded. morbid  fear, but one where you know your dad has sacrificed and loves you greatly-- and you don't want to fail/ break his loving trust or hurt him.   Of course in real life, my Dad was one to be dreaded and was very strict with me.  But I figured that at age 18-- if I didn't have the required amount of money for college tuition in 1967 [and I was accepted by 3 good Wisconsin colleges]-- I would get my education in the Army, which I did.  NOBODY FORCED ME TO JOIN THE ARMY, as my twisted brother tried to lie about.. and there was always some animosity at home...  I didn't 'run away' or try to 'hurt' anyone, but I was tired of being the 'whipping boy' for everything that wasn't done perfectly... lol., and I was just so hungry for excitement, adventure and wanted to serve my country and be part of something greater than myself.  Something as big as college needed to fill that void in my life.  I was going to get into ROTC anyway.

I suspect that my new book will have a lot of history in it, of course, and Bible prophesy, but that's the nature of the beast.  I already know the final outcome, but it's nice to have all the facts and figures in your mind so as to make a good discussion or argument, IMHO [In my humble opinion].

So I enjoyed another good chess game with Sharon today, bought more dog food for Deuce, the Rotty-- paid $75 for two medium sized bags- Nutro-something.   And can't we expect dog food to shoot up in price too this Summer!   Lately I have not been giving him MY food, and so he eats his food better.
Sharon almost had me on the ropes again today as I just had trouble concentrating on the chess game.  I like to teach her tricks and strategies of chess, and I know someday she will beat me, but that's OK.  I have a cold soda pop from the new small frig I bought her and we have a good time!  Nest door/ the next room some woman was screaming and pounding on the walls until some staff came to help her out.. and in that way, it's got to be hard for 'normal' folks/ patients to cope in that environment, and so my heart pains for my wife to have to live there.  But at this point, today, Sharon could barely walk 3 steps to get something for me, and after that I thought I'd better do things for HER!  She was sick last night and vomited, so her legs were 'rubbery' today.   After that we had a short study in the bible starting  from Jeremiah 17:9,  "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?"  I explained that our brains [mind] KNOWS the real truth and 'commandments' of God, right and wrong, but the heart is treacherous and finds ways to circumvent and weave secret desires that are powerful enough to do one's selfish things, wants, desires.  We cannot allow our hearts to lead us the correct, right way-- but depend on our "Bible trained conscience!"  It's kind of like the faulty, worldly reasoning:  'Jack treated Jill bad-- so she decided to cheat on him....duh.'    You see, that is what TV and Hollywood portray, and therefore the so-called 'norm' in our everyday life of sin and corruption seems natural and normal.  If we train the mind with the best guide line in the universe, the Bible, ask Jesus to come into our heart --the Holy Spirit will prick our conscience [convict us] when our desires are in the wrong area.  I hope I am not mixing you up or saying this wrong....  We also looked up the first prophecy in the bible:  Genesis 3:15, which has not seen total fulfillment yet.   We Christians are NOT under the old Law Covenant, in any way, shape or form-- yet many churches demand that we ought to be!  But we still need to know and understand the OT [Old Testament].  And so on...  It's the husband's job to teach his wife and children the Bible, but now days you hardly see that anymore.  The churches help, but how do you know that what they are teaching is correct and biblical??  As church after church are failing, closing down, merging with the New Age baloney and ecumenical- ism, the ONLY thing we have left is the pure Bible, and we need to study, know and understand it!!  In the absence of real, Bible teaching churches [especially in these last days and in heathen countries- underground] a group of families [just as in the 1st Century of Christianity-- see book of Acts] would meet in someone private home, and the older brothers would conduct Bible studies.  that is being done now where there are not any churches.  It just may come to that when America pulls away from God, totally, and that time may be sooner than we ,th

Tom

Covenants.

Tom's Journal. http://tomschuckmanjournal.blogspot.com/ tschuckman@aol.com

More pure logic-- more sense-- in God's Covenants and Dispensations!  All the more reason why God will not let the world truly unite-- to work it's evil in this system.   If we can understand this thought-- we already know why those people, nations and orgs. are all on the wrong track with ecumenical- ism, one world religion and Gov't!  It's just anti-God.

Again and too often I keep falling into the trap of getting political and satisfying my own selfish desires of 'tripping triggers,' irritating some folks, being a 'rabble rouser.'  That is the imperfect, sinful Tom, full of instant gratification and mischief, sorry.  I am talking about poking fun at politics and the man in the WH, etc.  Actually, all are guilty, sinful, selfish, controlled by the rich and powerful 'powers in the shadows' that pull and manipulate the strings, and remember, please, that Satan is running the whole show-- BOTH Parties, and all Governements.  Should we not learn from the long line of history where many Nations marched up and down in power, and why the so-called 'Golden Age' usually only lasted about 200 years??

Part of my weight gaining problem is due to some of the medications I must take now days, but I probably was raised to eat until full at home, as was my culture and reward for hard work, I guess.  Then we have the genetics and inherent genes and family line to think about.  And then emotional type of eating disorder, or what ever.  While MOST of the world is starving, Americans are getting larger.  I honestly like a good variety and veggies, but it hurts to stand up long enough to cook a balanced meal... so I end up eating the fast foods and baloney sandwiches that are fast and easy to make.  I can and have gone on fasts, but that's not the answer either.  Who knows if I will ever find the right "diet" before the Rapture, or death.  I was well built until the age of 40...and most of you have seen my pix.

By Dr. Thomas Ice Pre-Trib Research Center Since I have identified the biblical covenants and classified them as conditional or unconditional, I want to now look at each one and see if they are still in force today and if they are, how they relate to the church age believer. These covenants provide a framework by which we can know how God wants us to behave in every area of life. The Edenic

Tom's Journal. http://tomschuckmanjournal.blogspot.com/ tschuckman@aol.com

I have a very busy day ahead of me, but I tripped over this important article that has brightened my spirits as it agrees with most I have been saying for the past few years up to now-- and might sound 'unpopular.'  Truth is that many 'Christian' churches are falling away from the true business of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Prophecy, pure Christian modest living, etc., and that was my opinion for some time now.  Fact is:  It's really hard to find a real Christian church that isn't mostly about  entertainment and MONEY!  You be the judge-- or maybe that is all most of us know or been raised to believe and experienced.

I feel reinforced right now, even as I endure all the things common to being an older man with personal hardships, pain and worries.  I ought to feel blessed for having a better standard of living than 3/4's of the world, and having Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior!  I AM GOING TO HEAVEN-- NOT BECAUSE I AM A 'GOOD' MAN...but because I am Saved by the blood of Jesus!  Those, especially my extended family, who continue to try to pull me down to the despair and and depravity of their own misery, as jealous malcontents who only want to control, who love to remain ignorant of the Holy things of the Bible-- will be the real losers.  And I know that I shouldn't get so involved in our country's politics-- although it's kind of fun to harass the 'opposition'- lol.  Philippians points out that we are 'citizens of HEAVEN', but the majority of Christians in America are still hoodwinked and misled about our country somehow managing to bring heaven on earth through social and political struggle.  Learn the truth from the BIBLE.

Day of the Lord.

Tom's Journal. http://tomschuckmanjournal.blogspot.com/ tschuckman@aol.com

Above:  Tommy Schuckman, about 10 years ago [2001] with his Ram 4 by 4 down by Lake Michigan, in Kenosha, Wisconsin.  Had a small welding shop/ hobby on the side while I still worked at Chrysler Motors in the same town. I broke my neck [C1 and C2] shortly before buying this Dodge truck brand new.... Ouch!

I should have looked up a few terms, like 'paranoia.'  I suppose we all have fears, of the unknown, snakes [in the WH, etc... lol.. sorry], poverty, death and sickness, etc.  And after you've been misled, lied to, tricked, fooled-- by some false church, religion, Gov't, power [like Satan or his agents], you become "twice shy" and super cautious, IMO.  Anyway, that's the way I feel.  When you [I] have a near death experience or made a big mistake, you say to yourself that you don't ever want to try that again!!  Many combat Veterans are 'hyper vigilant', cautious and watchful because they have been specially trained and have experienced what to do-- and what NOT to do-- so as to survive.  Please have some respect for them, even if they appear to be a little 'strange.'  They are still paying the price for having served their countrymen and nation!

Many folks worry needlessly about their salvation- not really knowing  the TRUTH of the bible because of false, ignorant, teaching by power hungry/ controlling clergy, false teachers, rich mega churches, ecumenicalism, New Age encroachments, etc. in these last days.   God's requirements for getting to heaven are NOT complicated, foggy or hidden from mankind!  The Bible was written at  the 5th grade level and that grand BOOK of God is available most everywhere [except some Muslim and repressive nations].  I buy and give away many Bibles and bible tracts all the time because I feel it is so important to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ!   See:  biblefortoday.org

Yet, it's so exciting to continue to learn more about God's will and His personality, IMO, that I just love to share these "new" things with my readers and friends, as I continue to learn "new things" too.  Just think:  If you have been a serious Bible student [and I mean an 'average' person with the desire to LEARN!] most of your life and love to dig deeper to find out answers to your questions-- you could become a near expert in that field and help others who have hidden fears, anxieties, worries, phobias, etc, that the devil wants to bedevil us with.   And I believe that is part of 'storing up your treasures in heaven.'

The humanist world might use the slogan:  'Don't sweat the small stuff-- because it's ALL small stuff.'   I would say, 'Cut your worries down to what is really necessary- and leave the rest on God's shoulders.'  But never forget the Christian's primary goal and objective... to magnify God, 'kiss the Son, Jesus Christ' and yield to His teachings and will.  Every person on earth will have had the chance to gain salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ [of course the Old Testament humans have different provisions, and promises/ covenants ..], as we are ALL free moral agents [according to the articles below]!  My eye is trained on the 'lynch pin'-- Middle East, especially Israel, the 'apple of God's eye.'  We ought to know and realize that things could change and happen overnight or in a heart beat, as Israels'  Muslim neighbors continue to launch ordinance into the land that God gave the Israeli people, and PLEASE remember Genesis 12:3, as it has a direct bearing on us today !  Our collective national 'goose' is already cooked, but we as individuals depend and expect God to rescue us, but even death may be a way out if we 'exit' before the Rapture-- and then 'no more worries mate' -- in HEAVEN!
I love your serious comments on this humble Blog/ Journal, and would just love to expand my circle of friendship.  And thank you, always for your prayers.  I will see Sharon in the morning after church... she seems to be doing a bit better lately.  PTL!

Rocketts and Missiles.

Tom's Journal. http://tomschuckmanjournal.blogspot.com/ tschuckman@aol.com

How powerful is Satan's poison and false religion so that he blinds the eyes of perhaps 95% of mankind?!  On the other hand those who are blessed to have the Holy Spirit can see plain as day what is really happening according to God's prophetic Word.  But even many so-called 'Christian' churches are falling out of grace rapidly in the USA as they shy away from telling the truth of the Gospel, including the meaning of sin and lies.  Perhaps a few of them will see their failure of duty and 'return to the fold'-- to the Bible, but then the 'separating work' of the angels is in full swing right now, IMHO-- the sheep from the goats.

People who know me are familiar with my mode of explaining things so that both Believers and other interested folks can easily understand what I deem as VERY important in March of 2011 --> forward.  Here is the point:  If one disaster can put a lot of strain on a country or the world's closely tied economy- supply and demand, oil, food, water, electricity/ power grids, just think about 3 or 4 bad visits of various dire circumstances!!  I listen to WVCY Christian radio a lot, 107.7 FM- Milwaukee, which can be had over the InterNet, and read at least 3-4 hours per day, including intense Bible study/ research, and I am STILL learning!  I even take notes while listening to Brannon Howse, and Cross Talk, etc.  I will be looking into a new book by Bill Koenig:  AS AMERICA HAS DONE TO ISRAEL.... if I got that right.  Some folks have drawn a 24-48 hour time line from countries who try to hurt Israel-- to natural disasters lately.  I don't know if that is true... yet.

Per last nights additional shelling of Israel by their close Islamic neighbors, Hamas, etc-- I have been on the receiving end of 122 mm Viet Cong rockets exploding in my company area on my 1st tour in Vietnam killing some men and wounding others: early 1968, and it is scary because you never know where the next one will land, and there is little you can do about it.  Combat Vets carry that emotional stuff with them for the rest of their lives and react differently than their 'civilian' counterparts, and many times they make sport and fun of us Vets.   It can and is very traumatic for Vets and others who have been near that kind of death and destruction, and that's why the Veterans have a close knit support group, because few others really care.

And just like a chess game that makes you use your noodle [that gray matter between your ears], the idea is to 'capture' -check the movement of the other person's king-- and that's called checkmate.  I am not a real pro, but enjoy playing the game and teaching others.  The analogy is that IF you can 'surround' your opponent's king from 3 or 4 different directions with your rooks, knights, bishops or queen, so they have to capitulate because they run out of options or freedom where to move the king- out of danger, YOU WIN the game!  So as I said in the beginning of this blog post, one disaster is bad enough--[Check] but 3 or 4 would really work havoc on any nation, especially if they are already on the brink of collapse, USA included [Checkmate]!  All we need is another world wide famine or poor wheat harvest, or rice, or what ever, and millions will starve very soon.  Same with lack of oil and gas.  Same with devaluation of our currency and monetary system!  Some folks say that our American dollar will lose about 25% of it's value around the month of May!  You get the point? --- and if you don't-- you will, soon.

Those of us who have their ears to the rail road tracks honestly believe that high officials in our own country and people like George Soros are INTENTIONALLY trying to collapse our economy to bring about the 'New World Order' which is also part of Satan's plan.  The Bible says the same thing-- yet people remain blind and stupid.  OUR job is to sanctify God's holy name, share the Gospel in these last days and set a good, clean, Christian example.  We ought often to look at ourselves and compare what the Bible says about everything, and KNOW the Bible well!  Brannon Howse says that we also ought to plan and prepare ahead by getting our 'houses in order', and have a bit more put away in case disaster strikes near us, food, water, perhaps a tent, a  "B Plan" --to 'get out of Dodge.'  I am willing to bet that America will have more than it's share of earthquakes, floods, tornadoes, and hurricanes this year of 2011.  I have a 4 by 4 truck with warm clothes in it, and a 'bug out bag,' radios, batteries, flashlights, etc, and DEUCE, the Wonder Dog.  Yes, we put our trust in God Almighty and do His will, but it also makes sense to be industrious and plan for emergencies.  That's my opinion.  But I am ready for the Rapture too!

Warm Regards,

Salvation.

Tom's Journal. http://tomschuckmanjournal.blogspot.com/ tschuckman@aol.com

The following article has REALLY helped me to understand Salvation so that I can now explain it logically to others!  I can't tell you how many times I had to re-read stuff like this and still be somewhat foggy.  In other words some things come easy for me and other things come hard for me.  That's a good reason for me to have patience with others.  At work, welding, carpentry, auto worker, etc., I learned the short cuts and devised a "system" for myself-- reason and rhyme, which I gladly passed on to others when I broke them in... and many will not do that.  Salvation is a BIG thing, and all important!

I saw Sharon again today, and prepared her with the news that I MIGHT end up going back to the hospital again because of my poor knee healing... and I would not be surprised if the VA messed me up, as they are both feeling worse than ever!  Trouble is, they have lied to me too many times so that I actually had to go to a 'civilian' hospital in Milwaukee-- St. Luke's [ better and better] to get the real truth...Ha!  I then brought that true info back to the VA where they said 'yes' to an operation, but the staff treated me like used toilet tissue, and then tried to make ME look like the bad guy!  Most of the Vets I talked to had a similar story.... sorry.  I sure hope that I am wrong about myself, and many tell me that the rainy season makes me worse-- humidity, etc.   But I can barely walk right now...  Sorry to complain, but if I help a few other Vets-- good!
I have NO support group to help me if I have to have any surgery in the future, and that worries me.  I would love your prayers to help me make the right decision.

By Dr. Andy Woods Sugar Land Bible Church As believers, we use the word “salvation” so frequently, yet what does this word actually mean? Most think that salvation simply relates to how someone becomes a Christian. We probably think this way since we are living in the wake of the Protestant Reformation. The reformers spent most of their energy defending and explaining what one must do in order to
