The Truth about Eggs.

Friends,
I am the kind of guy who gets hooked on something, a new topic of curiosity, subject matter, and then does the hard core RESEARCH for as long as it takes to understand the material so well that I can TEACH IT !!   I guess I always had "too many questions" as a kid that sort of  exhausted my parents and teachers, until they finally told me to 'go look it up !'  And then it hurt my feelings when a few myopic, jealous losers referred to me as a "Know-it-all."   And I always hated the term:  "Jack of all trades"....   but instead, wanted to be a "Master of One Trade."   But I now think that mentality of mine was wrong...  because now days you almost HAVE TO BE A 'Jack of all Trades' to survive ...LOL !   Still,  I had a fine education, including some college to become a GOOD welder, etc., but still [again] moved onto Sales, Finance, quality Mutual Funds, and passed my Securities exam, as Federally mandated, with Insurance too, etc.   The knowledge of the KJV Bible is my crowning achievement because that sincere knowledge and confessing  Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior is the ONLY way that we will get to heaven, and not be left behind ! !   Praise You, dear Lord !

Well, I spied this prize short article from a company that I trust, and I also use their fine product,  OmegaK Krill, every day to help my wounded heart.   I detest 'mis-information !'  Old wives' tales, and outright LIES!  I also found out in the hospital that eggs help heal the lungs too, shortly after I had a horrible life-threatening accident in Kenosha, WI., while driving my big old Goldwing motorcycle and a pick up truck ran a stop sign and creamed me....  fractured 12 of my Right side ribs in multiple places, so that I was bleeding in the lungs, and almost died !!   God, and the good ER doctors Saved me, again!  PTL.    He Saved me [again] so that I could lead some other people to Christ....  I was only a "tool" in the hands of the Master, Father God.

And I feel strongly the same about REAL butter too -- that actually margarine is the poison stuff -- and I insist eating real butter, olive oil, of nothing at all.   The basic herbs that I take daily, are:  Cayenne, Garlic, Ginger, Cinnamon, Turmeric, Hawthorne berries, and Fenugreek.   Do the Math, do the Research, reading, and also find out any possible contradictions on-line, or go buy a book!  All the herbal knowledge that you learn today may very well save your bacon in the near future if the Gov't shuts down.

Warm Regards,
Tommy Schuckman

The TRUTH About Eggs And Heart Health

Some people believe that eggs may be a food that leads to heart disease – just because of the cholesterol content that is found in the yolk.
And, if you’re at risk for heart disease – or just want to reduce your risk – than chances are you’re avoiding eggs like the plague.
So, are eggs THAT bad for you?  Is popular opinion correct about the wonderful, edible egg?
Eggs and Heart Health
People today are worried about heart disease – and with good reason.
Heart disease is still the number ONE killer in the world.
But, do eggs really increase your risk for heart disease?  Yes, they DO contain cholesterol, but is it enough to seriously alter YOUR cholesterol levels?
The answer may surprise you:  That’s NOT what the actual research says!
Here are TWO benefits of eggs as they relate to heart health that you may not know:
1. Lowers Blood Pressure
One risk factor for heart disease happens to be high blood pressure.
And, in one clinical study, eggs were shown to, wait for it, LOWER blood pressure.
The egg whites (very high-quality protein) possess a peptide that acts very similar to ACE inhibitors (or your popular blood pressure lowering medications).
The conclusion: “egg white protein peptides may be useful to prevent or treat hypertension.”
2. Changes Cholesterol Levels – for the BETTER!
Some people feel that eggs – due to the high cholesterol in the yolk – may lead to heart disease.
However, there are many studies that show eggs are NOT a cause of heart disease, but actually improve heart health.
In fact, one study found that reducing your intake of carbohydrates, and including eggs, may lead to improvements in HDL cholesterol – therefore, providing BENEFIT to heart health.
So, do you think eggs cause heart disease?  Clinical studies may say NO!
Do Eggs Cause Heart Disease?
Although eggs do contain some level of cholesterol in the yolks, there is very little direct evidence that eggs cause heart disease.
In fact, eggs may help IMPROVE heart health by lowering blood pressure and increasing heart-protecting HDL cholesterol.
Not to mention, eggs are a high-quality protein and have plenty of antioxidants, choline, and other nutrients that can lead to weight loss and other health improvements.
If you want to improve heart health, including eggs may make that process that much easier.

I agree with you when you say eggs are good for you! I try not to buy eggs from the store instead I buy them from farmers that let their chickens run around in the day time! The egg yolks are so much brighter and are so much better tastings! I try to eat about four a day!

While the information in the report MAY be true, Dave Cashatt makes a valid point about 'free range' eggs; they taste better and look better, and I'll bet they are not loaded with excessive hormones and antibiotics like most of the eggs from caged hens in 'egg factories'. Estrogen and estrogen-mimicking compounds are things that should NOT be in a man's diet.
