Dear Friends,

Deutschland Uber Alles.
--- Thomas G. SCHUCKMAN --disabled Vietnam Veteran: 68-70. Jesus ist der Herr.

I just happen to be a small, humble Knife collector, and a good knife/ edged weapons sharpener,  to help myself and my friends.   Being a skilled, college trained Welder ---having worked in the Trade for my years, even had my own small Welding shop for a while,  I also had to learn some things about Metallurgy, and the history of metal creation, etc.    Let's just say that the subject always intrigued me.   I find beauty is things well made, and I particularly like and enjoy the fine "tools" made by the  Cold Steel company and Buck knifes, too.   As you can imagine, some of those fine knives cost in excess of $150 !!    I just bought a Swiss Army knife with all the bells and whistles on it, because I gave the last one I had, to a special friend as a gift.   I am not in the habit of doing that,  but I wanted to give something precious, IMHO, to someone I really cared for.

Two great companies make some of the very best knives, IMHO, and I want to share who they are now:   Buck Knives.   And:   ColdSteel.com   [knives].   I will always have a few original,  Swiss Army Knives,  that are just plain so handy !!

However, per this special article [and please read and save the entire piece],  it's important to know that now days, we all must be on guard and alert for 'certain kinds of people' who want to do us wrong and hurt us.   I even have a rubber training knife to show some friends the best way to fight some one who wants to hurt them.   I will NOT give that INFO on this blog site,  but here is my email address:  tschuckman@aol.com    --- and then maybe we can also talk on the phone.
Personally,  I always believed in carrying,  "TOOLS."   And yes, I was a Boy Scout, when I was young....  so,  "Be Prepared."   I guess that knife fighting is a little bit like dealing with a poisonous snake --- if you learn how to kill the snake and cut off his head,  you can eat it for lunch.   So, the Army taught us to take the weapon away from the enemy.
Friends, we don't want to walk around scared -- but we do want to go about our business ALERT !   Stay Alert  and Live, to serve the Lord !   But if we should happen to die or get killed --- all Christians should KNOW where they are going.

Warm Regards,
Tom

Dear Subscriber,
The recent knife attacks in the Minnesota mall that left nine people injured — before an off-duty police officer shot and killed the attacker — adds great credence to the fact that we are facing an ever-escalating threat that challenges both law enforcement and private citizens.
The fact is that lone wolves and small cells require far less planning, are more difficult to detect and can execute these types of attacks with little skill or training.
Traditional knives, machetes, ice picks and other edged and pointed weapons have historically been overlooked as a potential threat to public safety because they are so common in our daily lives.
