Here is a picture of one of the GOOD VA workers, a Nurse Practitioner, Mike Ryan, who is kind and compassionate as he injects some much needed medicine into both of my knees every 90 days.... and it really helps me! I have come to know him fairly well and consider him my buddy. I think he is one of the few staff there who is not just there for a paycheck... lol.

Hi Folks,
I don't want to thump my chest too much, but I claim to be a 'man of action.' Some of my friends and readers are too, thank you very much. I am blessed to have access to many trustworthy web sites that are 'watch dogs' of the VA, Gov't, and other things that interest me. I know the systemic problems of combat Veterans because I am one. I know the challenges of biblical Christians because I am one! I am not perfect -- just forgiven. And thank you all for your prayers of support and the health of my wife, Sharon.

Below is a reply from my local State Rep. whom I voted for a number of times... and I believe he is a fighter for what is right. Some Americans wonder why they should walk the 'straight and narrow' , honestly, when people like the Gov. of IL was just found suspect of big time wrong doing. I believe that most of our US Congress is corrupt and dirty so that our whole country suffers and is now paying thru the nose for big, greedy Corps who want to get bailed out, and other mismanaged gov't subsidies, welfare going to illegal aliens, and orgs. Go figure: The big Corporations want money from US to bail them out when my own company- Chrysler has already cut the retirees' health benefits across the board without even consulting us!! And I continue to haggle/ struggle/ fight with the Milwaukee VA Hosp. so I can get my medication in a TIMELY MANNER. They screw up almost every stinking month! They are so lackadaisical and inefficient.

In the modern day of email [or even that lost ancient art of snail mail] it's not that hard to put pen to paper or just bang out some well thought out words to our State Reps.... and as the old saying goes, 'the squeaky door gets the oil.' The sodomites, abortionists, and illegal aliens are super vocal -- why can't Veterans and Christians be ?

Just wanted to acknowledge the receipt of your letter back in November about the problems you are having with the VA hospital in Milwaukee. It frustrates me that our veterans have to go through such headaches time and time again for their health care. I have forwarded your contact on to Congressman Paul Ryan who has jurisdiction over the hospital since it is a federal entity. I am sure he will try to help you resolve these issues.
