For what ever reason, the Truth of the Bible is just "too simple" for the formally 'educated' man or woman, as that sort what something that will 'jump out of the Book and BITE THEM!!' For some folks, though, the truth DOES bite them that way, and they as sooooooo happy, that they cannot contain themselves and share it with every creature they run into ~! I was a little bit like that too, after I'd been searching the world of religions to fine the pure truth. I can tell/ feel the Holy Spirit alive in me -- and in other people because they want to SHARE the good things they possess. Example: IF you discovered a cure for cancer, you might want to be compensated $$$, but you would also want to share it with others one way or another -- because you LOVE people and hate suffering, right? But the Amerikan Gov't oft times FORBIDS smart people from sharing some herbal / natural healing power/ substance, because the AMA and greedy people can't make any money of the item..... SHAME! I just happen to be an herbalist, studied for the past 40 years, and treat myself. I don't think that I would be alive if I didn't maintain my old, beaten body with a few good herbal capsules every day, like: Cayenne, garlic, cinnamon, ginger, etc.... God gave Adam and Eve dominion over the plants and animals in the original Garden of Eden, and we still have the names of the two rivers that run thru it today ... but that Paradise is now gone... thanks to our original parents' big sin of disobedience. Just read the first book of the Bible, Genesis. Easy and very interesting, friends!
I was just listening to the Christian radio U.P. here while driving back home with some groceries--- that we won't ever sin in New Heavens, nor in the New Earth, even while playing a game of baseball, or what ever ! PTL! No greed, pride, arrogance, bad feelings,. hurt feelings... wow! We will never be bored either, no disease, pain or sorrow.... last book of the Bible, Revelation!
Did your high school or college teacher/ instructor just give you a text book to take home with you, and expect you to know all about that subject the next day!! NO! We will have all eternity to LEARN all the various subjects, languages, sciences and also get lots of rest and fun! But some goofy humans would argue --- that would never be fun or exciting. Well then, Fine, just go to hell and suffer forever.... ha! Maybe you could even arrange to get boiled in oil! There, you see -- you do have options and freedoms ~!!
Personally, my large, strong, old body has been thru a war, and many battles, injuries, so that right now, it's not working so good anymore.... sorry. I still have my wonderful mind, intellect, wisdom and understanding.... along with CHF, plenty of arthritis, aches and pains every single day, and just try to 'live with all that garbage.'
God, the Son, suffered and died to set mankind FREE, to wipe out ALL of our sins, past, present and future SINS!! Otherwise we would all be hell bound forever. Yes, the Truth of the Bible IS very simple--- and it even tells us that the majority of mankind will NOT make it to heaven... sorry, folks. Nothing can change that nasty fact! But we can, should, must share the Gospel to as many people as we can in this short time between obama's terrible rule --- to the Rapture! That, is our number ONE job/ work.... besides try to pay our bills and debts as best we can.... and also support the local CHURCH, only it they preach and teach the PURE Gospel/ Bible.
If you go to a church that does NOT have any Bibles present, or people who attend there DON'T carry their own bibles inside with them, or the preacher doesn't use, read and refer to bible scriptures openly and freely --- get out of there !!! Simple. There are many good Christian blogs around, but you need to measure them all with the Bible, to make sure they are not preaching a 'different Gospel.'
Prayers for my cousin, Wanda Jane [Schuckman] Becker, in Hays, Kansas, who just lost her dear mother today. Wanda is a good Bible loving Christian, and friend of mine. And I also know that she misses her fav passed dog, "Rascal" -- who died a few years ago.
Warm Regards,
Tom Schuckman
